I'm giving a 2 because our Server, Jaylynn was pretty good. It's the first time this year we are back. We had a bogo and some coupons to make it a free dinner. I guess it's good enough for free. However, if I had paid $15 per person, I would be extremely pissed off. The food selection is small and is just ok. Again, the Service was great, but I'm even thinking for free, I don't know. If it's not free, you might want to try somewhere else. Maybe try Del Sol?

Use to go there a lot. The food quality has gotten really bad. The service though is great. The management should wake up and do something about the food. Service rating is a 5. Food is on the negative scale that's why a 2.

The Lunch Buffett was average when they had it.

Well, I think our last visit will be our last for a long time. We hadn't been in a while, and had positive experiences in the past, so when we were bored this weekend we thought this would be fun. It wasn't. The food is clearly lower quality, as is the preparation. I took a biscuit, and I could actually knock on it and it didn't break, it sounded like I was knocking on a wall. It actually hurt my knuckles. It wasn't stale like they were just sitting on the counter for an hour. They were stale like they were made two weeks ago. Not good. It was Mexican night, which wasn't advertised at all (and they have a sign outside that is supposed to say what's on the menu for the night), which was a huge disappointment because I don't like Mexican that much. But whatever, I wasn't too hungry anyway. It would have been ok if the food was ok, but it wasn't. The tortillas, which are the base of the meal here because it was all basically a build-your-own-taco bar, were cold and dry (even though they were wrapped in tinfoil like they were supposed to be hot or something). The meats were edible, but a bit bland. I decided to try to play it safe with the salad bar portion. There are less options than there used to be. No cottage cheese, no hard boiled eggs, less dressings. The greens were a little pathetic looking to boot. Meh. And to top it all off, we had a visitor try to eat with us! We sat by the dessert area, which is near the entrance to where the staff enter/exit the kitchen/service area. So I'm sitting there, sipping my Diet Pepsi, and what do I see scurrying towards me? I big old roach! Right at me! I know restaurants often and frequently have roaches, but I've never actually eaten with one in the dining room. It scurried around our table until it booked it to the dessert counter. I told the waitress, and she decided to chase it around whilst stomping at it. Bad food, limited selection of food, cleanliness issues, and higher prices mean we probably won't drive out here again any time soon.

Went to this casino because the Casino Del Sol was closed, we should have just gone to Golden Corral. The food was horrible! I can count on one hand the "hot" offerings, which were all cold and looked like they had been sitting there all day. The salad bar had 3 types of lettuce and like 3 other items to put on the lettuce, not really a salad. We were offered bread at the table and although it was warm it was awful tasting, we couldn't even figure out what flavor it was. If I could give a quarter of a star I would. The only bright spot was the waitress, she was awesome. She should be working somewhere else though. The end result, just don't waste your money.

This is by far the worst casino buffet we've ever been to. Twice they've run out of plates so people are standing around waiting. The food on the buffet looks like it's been sitting there way to long. There are several containers empty. Just awful. We wish we'd have walked through before paying. Will never eat here again.

I heard Desert Diamond upgraded their buffet. I arrived at 4pm on Saturday for the Seafood dinner. Past experience has been bad, however, I sometimes will give it a second chance. BIG MISTAKE. Tried the new Seafood dinner for $21. The food again is warmed over. Poor quality; Crab legs were just warm. They were left soaking in water so long they were water logged and stuck to the inside of the shell. Shrimp pasta is unedible. Mashed potatoes are instant mixed w/ a few real potatoes. Catfish was prepared about an hour before they served it. It was cold and starting to get hard from sitting. The popcorn shrimp were cold and hard. They had some other fish and selections that looked just as bad. We didn't dare try them . Desserts were just as bad. Carrot cake tasted old and cheap - no flavor. They had some chocolate cream puff thing that was nothing more then chocolate cool wipe with an old piece of cut shriveled strawberry stuck on top. This buffet didnt have a lot of people visiting. That is certainly a sign. There were a handful of people eating this slop like it was their last or best meal ever. A few like garbage. I am appaled how Tucson casino's will advertise they have upgraded their buffets and still serve garbage for even more jacked up prices. Dont fall for the lies about the great quality of the food. I will never return.

Not everything in life is free but this buffet is tasteless, cold and rolls I could use for baseballs. How do run out of Au jus for the prime rib? The Only Reason They Got A Star Is That The Waiter Was Nice and working hard.

OMG, the worst crab legs I have ever seen! I can't say that enough. Then there was an asian women working behind the carving area who was so nasty to the elderly people, I could NOT believe it. OK, the ice cream was good. If you want good ice cream for $19.99 go here.

Food was ok. There was a dirty plate in the stack of plates at the buffet though. I would not choose to eat there again.

I love buffets. I have been to many of them in my lifetime. This particular buffet was probably slightly better than a decent Golden Corral, slightly worse than the Festa Buffet in town, and no where near the buffets in Vegas. My husband and I sampled nearly every item they had to offer. That was not difficult as the selection was not very expansive. We both started with salads, which turned out to be one of the highlight portions of the meal. They offered lettuce and spinach, which is great for me since I can't eat lettuce. They had tons of toppings for the salad and several messily contained dressings to choose from. I sampled the salmon (good), the french toast (meh - Similar to the deep fried bread sticks you get at Jack in the Box or Carl's Jr.), pancakes (dry and hard and oddly flavored), cut fruit (always delicious), bread (very dry and hard), bagel and cream cheese (almost flavorless somehow), prime rib (over cooked for a prime rib lover, but I thought the texture and flavor were delightful), mashed potatoes and brown gravy (alright, but not in my top ten), fresh biscuit (good, exactly what you'd expect), brownie bite (decent enough), pumpkin pie (similar to the crapalicious store bought variety), pecan pie (similar to store bought, but tasty), cheese cake (again, another example of cheese cake that doesn't taste like cheese cake at all), a chocolate cake (Bleh! Dry and flavorless), and the meringue off the top of the lemon meringue pie (good). The buffet notably did not have a Chinese food selection or any type of pizza offerings, which both seem to be commonplace at buffets these days. They did have some seafood, which I tend to avoid, thus I didn't taste any of it, but it included lobster and crab legs mostly. They also had some decent looking chicken out, but I forgot to grab some so can't comment on it's taste or quality. There was a pasta that looked delicious until I noticed it contained shrimp.. how anyone can enjoy chewing on those rubbery suckers, I will never understand. I did not try the pasta. Our waitress was very polite and always kept our drinks full. The atmosphere was laid back, and on that Sunday at noon, we were instructed to seat ourselves, which was fun. If my husband and I are heading out to a buffet in the future, we will probably skip this one, despite enjoying the casino aspect more than others. The selection was a bit small for our tastes, though the quality was alright. Neither of us ate anything that blew us away...but we both really enjoyed our salads.

My friend and I stopped to try the Friday seafood buffet. It had a very limited choice of seafood and the crab legs were very small. I did enjoy the cod with peppers and onions wrapped in corn husks. The stuffed poblano pepper was also adequate.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights last week. The hotel is very good. We decided to try the buffet the first night there, we ate elsewhere the rest of the nights! The roast beef was inedible, no kidding, I threw mine away. It was hard to cut even after they brought me a steak knife & I just couldn't chew enough to swallow it. The other food was also sub par for the price. Everything was over cooked low quality food. Stay at the hotel, but eat elsewhere!

I got the buffet as a comp so it was worth what I paid for it. The minestrone soup was good and I did enjoy the lasagne. For the price, the quality of food was comparable.
