This place is not a real steakhouse it's a fake house. If your not from this area, go somewhere else and spend your money. The good news is the wait staff is great. My wife had a steak that had no,,, I do mean NO Flavor and they sent out can mushrooms with onions. I had the all you can eat Cod fish....No flavor, I didn't want anymore the first bite was the last bite..lol. I know I will never come back...ever... the best thing on the menu, sad to say was the fried zucchini and that was an appetizer..lol

The food is pretty decent and the prices aren't bad. However the last two times I have been there the wait was absolutely atrocious! They said 15 minutes and it was much closer to 45. Even after we were seated the service was so slow. We were with our 4 kids, and as any parent knows making 4 small children wait well over an hour (between trying to get seated and getting our order) for food never ends well. I do have to say, however, that the owner came over and gave the kids some french fries to help with the wait. She was very sweet, I just don't know if the long wait and slow service is enough to make up for it.

Wow - what happened? This place USED to be much better! On previous visits my steaks or fish were cooked to perfection, everything was the right temperature, service was good. However, I recently took my sister and her kids here. Weeknight, not very busy at all. We ordered appetizers and meals. The onion rings were good, mushrooms ok, the dinner rolls were not. They appeared to be the 'Brown & Serve' ones your grandmother buys and serves for Thanksgiving. They were unappealing and cold. We got to keep our dirty dishes and empty drink glasses for quite a while. When ordering our meals, I requested prime rib, baked potato & broccoli. I was interrupted and told that wasn't a choice. Umm. I thought I was the customer... I said I would pay for the side. Again told no. Again I said yes. (more about the broccoli later) Waitress finally wrote down my order. Apparently salad is a side dish that cannot be substituted. Our salads arrived. Sadly they were swimming in Ranch dressing. I would have preferred Bleu Cheese, but that was not a choice I was asked, and by then I did not want to bother sending it back. Again, our dirty dishes were on our table for a long time. Our little group of four, in a restaurant of perhaps 20, waited for our entrees. And waited. And waited. Two T-bones, one prime rib and one order of chicken tenders should NOT take almost an hour. When our food finally arrived, I asked for to-go boxes. Said it had taken too long, we had somewhere else to be. While transferring my food to the box, I discovered my prime rib was cold. My baked potato was (at best) warm. My broccoli was cold. And swimming in water. And of the little dish of broccoli, 4 small pieces were florets - the rest was cut up stems. I left both the water and the stems. The only food that was hot were two orders of french fries. We then waited for the check. And waited. Got up to leave; I told my sister our check will appear when they think we're skipping on the check. Ha! Of course that's when our waitress brought the bill. We told the cashier the issues. She expressed concern and said she'd talk with the kitchen staff. No discount. The french fries were good, the chicken was tough, the t-bone steaks were good, the prime rib was tasteless. I don't recommend this restaurant any longer. Not certain what happened, but it is not a good change.

Worst customer service ever. Waited for 10 minutes and no one came to take even a drink order. When we left we told the hostess thanks for nothing she responds "hope you enjoyed your meal"

I had heard that the Friday fish fry was worth trying from some coworkers. So last night we made the journey across town to check it out. We grabbed a drink at the bar while we waited to be seated. Despite the fact that it was not full at all, we waited around 15 minutes to be called. All three of us ordered the fish fry and excitedly waited for our food. We received our salad within several minutes. Hoping the fish was close behind we waited patiently. A random server walked by with a tray and asked if we had ordered the fish and we of course said that we had. She handed us each a small wooden bowl with two pieces of fish each. One bowl had no tartar sauce, another had no lemon. And we didn't get our fries either, but assumed they were close to follow. We asked the waitress about our fries next time we saw her. She said she was unsure why we were brought the random two pieces of fish, but she would go check on our real orders. The waitress passed three more times and assured us it would be soon. We waited around 20 minutes after eating our two lonely pieces of fish before we asked to speak to a manager. I could see our waitress walk over and start whispering to a woman who was sitting in a booth at the front. She clearly looked frustrated as she stood up, walked to the kitchen to grab our ticket, and approached our table. She said, "your order was placed 29 minutes ago, so what's the problem?" I explained that we had unknowingly received what I assume was someone else's refill order of fish and we're still waiting on our correct meal. We requested to have our ticket cancelled as we had other places to be. The manager then claimed the fish was an attempt to accommodate us and I assured her it was incorrectly sent to our table. She then said, "well you ate it, so that's $1.25 a piece!" And then she just walked off. The waitress was apologetic and I asked her why the manager would lie about the 'complimentary' fish. She shrugged and said she would go get our food because it would be ready in one minute. She did bring the plates pretty quickly so we asked for a box since we didn't have time to eat anymore. The waitress had to go ask the manager for permission. We received our bill and saw there was no attempt at a discount. We never got so much as an apology from the manager. And it also took 10 more minutes for our receipt to come back to be signed. I doubt the manager will ever read this comment. And if she does I doubt she will care. The fish we did eat was good, but the experience was so bad I can't rate this place higher. I consider myself a very patient and understanding patron. Negative reviews are not my style. But once that manager spoke to us, I was just shocked with her attitude and had to share it with all of you.

I would like to warn people that these guys serve raw fish. On Sundays, My husband, my son and I go out with my mother in law and grandmother out to eat. It's a weekly event. We try different restaurants and boy was this a bad choice. My mother in law ordered the fish... yuk!! it was not cooked. The waitress ( although she was young and nice was very inexperienced) She takes the fish to get recooked. She left with three pieces of battered fish but returned with two pieces ( I think they refried the same fish and since the third had been broken open... that one got tossed. I ordered the Black Forest Ham with Jack on grilled sourdough. When I asked the waitress about the sandwich (when ordering) she politely told us it was not grilled until my husband pointed out that it said grilled on the menu. What I received was just three slices of deli thin ham( definitely not the gourmet Black Forest Ham that they proudly promoted on their menu). As I lived in Germany when I was young, I am very well aware what real genuine Black Forest Ham is, this was not even a good attempt to fraud the consumer. This sandwich also came with a very pitiful piece of melted cheese. It was horrid. I choked it down but It will have to be a below zero freezing day in Tucson before I will return. ( which means never). When my mother in law asked for a discount ( she said any discount..senior's or even for her awful under cooked fish), the waitress told her there were no discounts. I pressed her and asked her to ask the manager. At that time, a very poorly dressed dude, with unkempt hair, wearing a filthy red t-shirt walks out of the kitchen. She asks him and he pulls her to the side. She comes back to proudly say that my mother in law can have her drink for free... I almost choked ... however, after having to manage not choking on their pitiful ham and cheese grill, I was prepared and was able to just gulp in some air to keep from busting out laughing. This place needs a new decor... it is in bad shape. It looks like it hasn't been decorated since Reagan's administration. The service is terrible and the food is so bad that I do believe that whoever runs this joint has got to know cause they cut corners big time and they just don't give a crap. It's also very very dark. I think that's a ploy... so you don't have any idea what you're eating... Hey cattle town folks, the darkened atmosphere is not gonna help. Most of us have tastebuds and we can tell you're serving garbage cause it TASTES like garbage. I urge the citizens of Tucson and surrounding areas...let this cattletown die already... it will not be missed. BTW, Texas Roadhouse is not that far away and it is by far better than this dump. If you want an inexpensive steak, go north to El Corral. I doubt the owners even read yelp because that would be way more effort than these guys will ever put into their restaurant but if by chance they do... I recommend you guys start over with a hot dog cart... just not in my city.

We were pleasantly surprised. Food was great . Portions are large. I ordered the full rack of ribs. ( were really good). I can usually eat a full but could only eat a half. Took the other half home.

Looking for an Old West Steak Joint? You found it. I have been here 4 times over the years. Nothing fancy and that is perfect for a low cost Old West Steak with matching décor. Service could use some improvement but maybe my last visit was on a bad day.

The server forgot about us for an hour, when we finally tracked down our server she said she was going to comp our meal.we leave the restaurant only to have the owner go outside and copy our license number. It turned into a big ordeal with the cops coming and the owner being very disrespectful and screaming obscene names at me!

Very reasonable prices, I'd rate the service as really good. I've had better Chicken fried steak(their specialty btw), but my wife's fried shrimp was excellent!

We were here for my bday and the service was excellent!! They have daily specials and a variety of sea food and steaks. Prices are reasonable and they make good pina coladas.

I used to like this place, but several times now I have been sadly disappointed. I went in with my family on Sunday and was so completely embarrassed by the whole experience. I will NEVER go there again! About the food: My fish was so undercooked I probably would have died if I had eaten it. As it was, I sent it back. It was returned to me 20 minutes later when everyone else had finished eating. They took back 3 pieces of fish and a few shrimp and brought back only 2 little dried out pieces and the shrimp that were all now over cooked. I believe they just threw it back in the fryer and brought it back without a fresh baked potato. I was shocked when I asked the waitress for a discount or something to make up for my meal being completely ruined. She seemed almost afraid to ask the scruffy looking manager to talk to us, and when asked he huffed and drug her away to talk to her, as though she had done something wrong. She came back telling me they would remove the two drinks from my check, which equaled about a $4 reduction from a $14 meal. The manager didn't bother to even talk to us and he certainly did not apologize. Instead, he gave us dirty looks. The people in our party who ordered burgers seemed to be "okay" with their food, but everyone else had to gag their food down. Maybe they should make it into a burger place and hire a manager that knows how to be polite to the customers. About the service: I have already given my opinion about the unkempt scummy looking manager who looked as though he hadn't bathed in at least a week and was probably in a hurry to get to a gang meeting or go paint graffiti on the wall somewhere. However, the little girl who served us was inexperienced, but very nice. I even felt sorry for her having to work at a place like that with that guy as her boss. Final conclusion: I will never go there again or recommend it to anyone. I am just thankful that I managed to escape without a deathly case of food poisoning, or even worse.

Our service was fast, the food was cheap, and my BBQ sandwich was delicious and huge. If I lived here I would totally go back.

My wife and i were passing through Tucson and the restaurant was recommended by the front desk at the hotel where we were staying. Menu they had at the hotel is no longer available at the restaurant. No pork chops anymore and they ran out of prime rib. Finished our salads before rolls showed up, and they were microwaved. Ordered the chicken breast and a baked potato. Chicken was so dry it was like eating strings, so I passed. Tried the baked potato instead and it was hard. My wife ordered well done French fries, which they were not. The good news is that the fish fry (cod) was delicious, but that is all that was worth eating. And the service was horrible. So slow but the waitress was very pleasant. Never again.

Hubby and I ate here for Easter dinner. After a week of no red meat, hubby was ready for steak, so a steak restaurant was the place to go! Well, our waitress was friendly, but not happy because she had to work on Easter. We both ordered steak. Hubby got the porterhouse, medium rare. It came, but was a little overcooked. It tasted good though and he really enjoyed it. I ordered prime rib and it was good also. We were surprised how empty the restaurant was...I'm not sure if it's lack of advertising or location. But we'll probably try it again.

Had lunch there today, 11 Dec 2013. By the time the food got to the table it was cold but we ate it anyway. Waited for the check for a while, gave up and went to pay. The way they acted you would have thought I had called them a bad name. I found out they don't care how your food is surved and they take their own sweet time letting you get out of there.

I try to give a very accurate review with the good and the bad. This time, I finding it hard to find any good. We had a party of 7. When being taken to our table, I noticed my shoes were sticking to the dirty carpets! It took well over an hour for our food to arrive. They said they were waiting on the fish to be done. When we got our fish it was COLD, flavorless, and like rubber. The salads were DRENCHED in dressing also. One person in our party got prime rib, and you could tell by the smell that is was rancid. We cannot blame the waitress, she was kind and accommodating ( Jennifer- it wasn't her fault, after all!) After all feeling a bit sick to our stomach, we exited, never to return!

First time here. The price was competative.....The steak arrived cold. Salad was good. Wife's sandwich was average at best. close to the airport would be the bright spot.

If I could have given no stars I would have. I have not been there is 16+ years because the last time my husband and I had gone there the server spilled cocktail sause down the front of my dress and I didn't order fried shrimp. They when I complained to the hostess that I didn't think I should have to pay for my meal, she called the sheriff's department after she had my credit card and wanted them to arrest us for complaining and told us we were 86ed. Terrible customer service.

Wow... What happened? Previous visits were pretty good, but our last lunch was horrible. Julie's fries were stone cold, and her BLT was a complete mess. My French dip was totally cold, and the waitress never stopped by to see how our food was. Manager said she had no authority to comp us or do anything for us. Pathetic way to operate a restaurant.

Good ribs. We have good ribs in Cleveland but these stand up to them. New York strip was as we call it a bar steak. Not so good. Cod fish has properly done and good.

Early Supper with a buddy, place was empty at 3pm. Sent one steak back to get warmed up and had to listen to the waitress and "chef" argue. Plates being thrown, pissing and moaning between the staff! What a cheap imitation of a steak house. Won't be back.

Dont got here unless you like a screaming wait staff, manager and chefs. I thought I was in hell's kitchen sunday night at this place. The manager was screaming at one of the waitresses to leave. Get your purse and get out!! Just get out now!!! No shame. Then the other waitresses were arguing about getting orders wrong. The manager was screaming at all the waitresses and the chefs. The chef im sure on purpose dropped a plate of food out of the window. Was this cleaned up by anyone??? Nope they just left it there and walked around it. The people next to us got their food and sent it back. Not what they ordered! So when the screaming manager had to ask them what their order was....we left. Dont even know if the food was good because we didnt order. It was funny at first but it wasnt stopping so we left. GET A NEW MANAGER!!! Employees should never be talked to or yelled at in front of customers!!! Oh yea forgot to mention. It wasnt even crowded so who know why there was so much drama!

The foods as only a s good as the service, our waiter Kent made our experience so bad and uncomfortable it was unreal. On a very busy Saturday night were every seats taken he became irate with the hostess roughly grabbed her by the arm in front of the entire restaurant cursing at her because she over sat him. The entire night slammed our plates, breathed hard when we ask him for things, and when we complained all we got was "oh Kent he's always like that" and this came from the manager. The food and prices good and would consider going back, but would rather get decent food somewhere else where I'm treated decently.

One of the best places to go to enjoy great food amidst old town atmosphere and served by a great team. This restaurant is family owned and they make you feel a part of the family when you dine there. Done miss their special - the T-Bone Steak. Whenever I am in Tucson I have to go to the Cattletown for a meal. Large selection of beers on the tap. Ask for the "mean" Long Island Tea - its a killer!!!
