cheap drinks, fun jukebox, and plenty of dancing space (assuming no ones playing pool). bartenders were attentive and friendly. Some of my friends enjoyed the jello shots but I demurred - wasn't feeling young enough for those that Wed evening - I had work in the AM! Enjoyed the atmosphere, the jukebox, and having plenty of space to hang out with friends. Wed night is karaoke night and the guy running it had a ton of song choices! would definitely recommend to folks wanting a casual night out with drinks and music!

They have good drinks and low prices, but I wouldn't go there by myself or with just girlfriends, because it seems kind of shady. The bartender was very nice and the place has a cool pool table, but their clientele is interesting.

I heard they were chosen for Biker Bar Makeover on the Travel Channel. Not sure what it looked like before, but definitely reminds me of a biker bar now. Friendly crowd. Great band playing. Great prices on drinks.

Wow! I am like the most unqualified person to write the first review for this bar. But oh well, I've gone twice, and I'll go again! This is a biker bar that's pretty happening. They have one bar and the bartender there both times has that feeling of this being "their bar." And that's awesome, it's obviously a place for regulars. It's easy to reach location on Speedway makes it a great place to drop in. You will see a lot of motorcycles out here- this is the kind of crowd Bashful draws. Do I drive a motorcycle? No, never driven one. But I like bars like this. The kind that has bras hanging over the counter. That has a broken bottle or two occasionally on the floor. It's comfortable, and it's not a chain feeling. Drinks are not expensive and you don't get screwed on the prices (see my review of Maloneys on 4th for that). Cheap beer, cheap hard drinks. A juke box. Good times at Bashful. Smoking allowed outside. No food- or if there is, it sure didn't seem like it. Maybe some snacks at the bar. And the bartender my first night there improvised making a margarita. That rocked. She didn't make them often there but she did on my request. That says a lot about a bar. And it was very strong and good.

Great bar!!! I went here with my drinking/running club and we got super cheap pitchers and great service. The place is spacious and has a separate parking area for motorcycles. It's such a great dive, there are Jell-O shot cups littering the floor.

A shady biker bar in Tucson. Went there with my cousin after we saw Dick Dale years back at a Tiki bar called The Hut on 4th Avenue(Dick Dale kicked ass!). I had been to the Bandit by myself drinking earlier in the day and it was mellow and friendly. However, that night at the Bashful Bandit there was a live band and it was packed. The drinks were cheap and the ladies were in full biker babe chic. I was honored with some bare breast even by a new friend. Dart boards, pool tables, etc. Its not a big place. 2 ways out as I recall it. You may see some fully patched Hells Angels and lots of tattoos. Out front there will be a line of motercycles for sure. In the course of 30 minutes we saw three fights, the last one started with my cousin and I ended it. It was time to go and go quickly. If its still open I will be back one of these days.
