A small scale restaurant with warm and friendly people... They are willing to prepare food off their menu! We ordered the roast duck in advance and it tasted close to home! Pretty impressive! We ordered other dishes and they were pretty tasty as well!

As a local Chinese Tucson finally has a place that has authentic tasting Chinese food. I'm a meat eater but I found myself eating all the veggie dishes. Their veggies in garlic sauce is amazing. Will be coming back often to support them. Hopefully one day they'll open up a banquet style restaurant to show off all of the chefs authentic dishes.

This restaurant is one of the best in Tucson! My husband and I used to run a Chinese restaurant and we are so picky about Chinese food. But this place is excellent! This will definitely be our go to Chinese food place. Everything is made to order and the owners and servers are very pleasant people. I hope this place does well and they stay in business, now that we finally found a great place....

Fresh, high quality food at a reasonable price. Locally owned and friendly staff. We had the garlic eggplant, shrimp fried rice, Singapore curry noodle (spicy), wor wonton soup and sweet and sour chicken. Everything was fresh and great tasting. I'm not an eggplant person, but it was excellent! This high quality restaurant is worth trying; you'll come back again and again! 5 star food and service!

I love this place. I get the Singapore Curry noodles. The same chef is always there with the distinctive hat. It took a time or two, but he finally got it, that when I say I want it crazy spicy, now when I walk in he doesn't even wait for server. He just smiles and says "Crazy spicy" And he has a real flair for food prep, which is fun to watch. I always do take out, as I like a cold beer with spicy food.

This place is legit. Located in the Fry's strip mall, not much to look at but wow the food really packs a punch. I suggest the honey walnut shrimp.

Food is made to order and takes usually 15-20 mins. The wonton soup is deliciously made with fresh and hardy ingredients. Very filling.

Yum happened to find this place near a friend's house so I stopped by and ordered some takeout. I got the General Tso chicken and Eggplant in garlic sauce. It was quite good and the service was efficient even on a friday night. Portions were right for the price. Two people can eat a big meal for under $25, or in my case, I got two meals out of it. I will return.

Great food! Great prices and friendly staff!!! Order the sea salt spicy calamari, it is to die for!!!! Hubs and I have been 3 times in the last 2 weeks. The best Chinese food I have had in awhile!

the food was great though they brought out one item at a time and never refilled our drinks, they were busy and since it is so small in there everyone crowed around the front and instead of coming back with our drinks they continued to take other orders. I had my empty glass on the table edge for the entire meal and was asked if i wanted a refill once but never got it. Everyone was nice but better wait service would be nice and I will go back. I have noticed though in several asian style food establishments that the wait service is usually lacking and never refill drinks but as I said the food was tasty and good portions.

Food was tasteless. Stopped after a long day and hoped for something better than Panda Express but it was not. I ordered from the dinner special which usually is family style and it was just a combo special. Places I have been when it say Dinner Special with a price per PERSON it is family style. The General Tso Chicken had not noe bit of spice even though peppers where there, the Momgolian Beef was just so-so, the fried rice had no flavor nt even a rice flavor. Fried srimp was soggy and egg rolls too mich ginger and more like a spring roll. We will not be returning even if it was free. Don't waste your time or money.

Once we tried this restaurant we found we can't stay away. Seriously, once a week is a must for my husband and I, and the location is especially convenient for us. We each try a different dish every time we go, and we haven't been disappointed yet. The Walnut Chicken is absolutely my favorite. My husband prefers the spicy Sesame Beef dish. Lunch specials are very reasonable and more than you can eat. The fried rice is the best we've ever had. I recommend Asian Spice to everybody who appreciates great Asian food. Oh, and the service is splendid too!

This place has been busy every time I drive by so I decided to stop. Large variety of Chinese food on menu. Had the cashew shrimp, portion was adequate liked being able to add extra veggies at minimal cost. Shrimp was very fresh and nicely seasoned would have liked a few extra. Prices are a bit on the high side but everything is cooked to order and fresh!

I only gave 3 stars because of the service. If you ask for water you get tap water. The brown rice was not fresh.. My Schezuan chicken was good.

We have had carry out and ate in several times. Wonderful service, delicious food! Love that it's run by a family. Honestly, has to be one of the best Chinese places I've eaten at.

Great food, and wonderful friendly service. I enjoyed the Kung pao chicken lunch special.

This place opened for a week now. The food is really good. I have had the calimari, shrimp fried rice, and Walnut shrimp. The calimari was nicely seasoned and oh so tender. The walnut shrimp had a nice sauce and very well cooked. The place has been open for just a week but the few time I've been here, the place is crazy sometimes. This place is perfect because there isn't anything around here even close to tasting this good. There is limited seating so I have seen a lot of carry out.

Friendly, and I like the fact that they don't use MSG - but don't order anything off the menu. I asked if they could make ma po tofu and was told yes they can. Uh, no, they can't. For a place that calls itself "Asian spice" there was zero spice, or sauce, on that dish that's supposed to be spicy and saucy. See, this is what ma po tofu is SUPPOSED to look like: just-eat.co.uk/blog/wp-c… I haven't found any place in Tucson that can make good ma po tofu.

Definitely some of the best Chinese you will have in Tucson. Also the freshest. Great non-fried options like Cashew Chicken and Lo Mein. Both fantastic. Can't go wrong here. It's a fast food type place and the service is very friendly

Wow! I'm not sure that I've ever seen a working kitchen that was so clean. Every surface in the open kitchen and the dining area sparkled! The food was delivered quickly and was obviously freshly prepared. We had the crab rolls as an appetizer. The amount of crab in the rolls was very uneven. Some had a high crab to cream cheese ratio, while a couple seemed to be only cheese. That was the only quibble I had with the food, and it really was minor. For mains we had pork fried rice and honey walnut chicken. Both were really good and provided some leftovers for lunch. A great small restaurant. We'll definitely return when next we pass through Tucson.

Absolutely incredible!!! The best fried rice I've ever had. The spicy cashew chicken and Kung pao beef were equally delicious!!!! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! Will defiantly return!

What a great friendly and hard working staff. The food is terrific. A perfect complement to the area that is short on good eats.

Chance upon this restaurant and realized it only opened three weeks ago. Our server, Nikki, is very friendly and provided great recommendations. We had fried calamari for appetizer and shared a BBQ pork omelette, moo goo gai pan and walnut shrimp. The food was very tasty and fresh. Asian spice has just became my favorite restaurant in Tucson. What an amazing discovery!

Nikki was our waitress. Great girl! She had a great recommendation for their appetizer calamari with sea salt. It had this mild sauce with it which complimented the sea salt. I usually don't do appetizers for lunch but it was delicious. Also my boyfriend got the shrimp chop suey (chop suey is his fav) and it came with a hot and sour soup that was actually really good because it wasn't salty at all where a lot of other places are. We requested some crispy noodles to go with that too. I ordered the eggplant with hot garlic sauce, I felt like vegetarian today. Overall .. I'm happy it is close to our house it is worthy of this 5 star review. Cheers. Oh and we got the vietnamese coffee (I'm vietnamese so I had to try it and it's pretty good too)

I do love places you can see the kitchen when you walk in and this one is spotless. Lunch for two for $20 with tax and tip perfect... You order then you hear your food being prepared fresh and it was very good we'll be back!

This place has great food and a very friendly staff. We walked in and were greeted by everyone in the restaurant. We really enjoyed our dishes. We all shared the house lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, and general tso's chicken. All the the dishes were great and their fried rice was the best.

This is a really good little Chinese place. The food was excellent. All 3 of us polished off our meals and the prices are great. Definitely recommend. It's not fancy, and pretty small.

I have been on this planet for 27 years and long ago I had Chinese food for the first time but now I have found the place that I'm happy to call the best! When you walk in the first thing you see is the chefs preparing the food fresh right in front of you (such a good sign). Then you are seated and greeted super nicely. They serve soda from cans which I love. Then you order and the true fun begins. What I had was the Orange Chicken dinner special. Which is served with your choice of hot and sour soup or egg flower soup, egg roll or crab puffs, and fried rice, brown rice or steamed rice. My first choice was the egg flower soup and it was served hot and it was smooth and flavorful. My second choice was the crab puffs and they were absolutely amazing- so creamy, so dreamy. My third choice was the steamed rice and it was done just right. And their sweet and sour sauce is incredible, I poured it all over my rice! Then we have the Orange Chicken, it is THE BEST!! I am so happy to have found my favorite chicken item at a Chinese restaurant! The sauce it comes in tastes so good and there's just a hint of orange. The chicken is done right and I just can't say enough good things about it. I would suggest this place to anyone!

My wife and I had a wonderful time here. They opened three days ago, but it feels like they have been in business a while since so many customers were dining in and picking up their To-Go orders. The food was great and service was friendly. We met the owner, Joyce, and she was a pleasure to talk to. She is passionate about the food, just like her husband who is a chef from China. We will definitely return!

Had the diner special shrimp in lobster sauce, it was very tasty. They did not skimp on the shrimp which is always nice. Hubby had the Mongolian beef ( as usual) and he was impressed. Egg flower soup was just right the crash puffs were stuffed! Wide variety of menu options. Will definitely be back.

Love love asian spice the chicken curry is the best you can customize your order with any veggie items and they don't charge extra for brown rice. Excellent food and wonderful service is why I keep coming back!
