Sat here for 15 minutes and never once was greeted! They have minimal TV's and the bartender had no idea if they had the Pac 12 package. DONT go to this bar!! Even the bar smelled horrible!

Don't expect to be treated well if you give off not a local vibe. My friend and I decided to stop here on our way back to Phoenix from some day hiking in Sedona. We sat on the patio and were told everything had to be ordered inside and we had to check periodically to see if our food was ready. Not a big deal, except there was a waitress working and they were rude about it, like they couldn't be bothered wasting their breath on talking to us. Cheap beer though, so there's that.

One of the few places serving food after dark. Burgers and pub grub, essentially with cold American light lagers on tap. Stand up 4-top tables and a slew of large HD monitors makes it a sports bar in my opinion. Service was attentive, even if the selection was modest the food was good for what is was intended to be. Not fine dining, but decent food at a decent price. A bit on the noisy side, but then again, think sports bar, not French Bistro.

We escaped the heat wave, and hid out at PJs for a pitcher of beer and some burgers. Everything we had was great. My burger was overcooked (I asked for medium rare, and got medium well), but because it wasn't dry I just ate it. Casual, low-key spot for some pool, beer, and grub!

Food was great! Holly, the bartender, great! Live music, great! Ambiance, sports bar like. All in all, it's a great place. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is due to the guests it attracts. I don't know if it was because of the NBA finals or the local golfing tournament, but I've never been in one establishment with so many old rich pricks in my life. I felt sorry for Holly having to deal with all the silver foxes attempting to flirt with her. It was sad and annoying. But nothing the amazing beer choices and an awesome steak sandwich couldn't cure.

We're staying in Sedona overnight and looking for a late-ish dinner option that was a local place and we found it! Atmosphere was great (a little loud at the beginning as we were there near the end of an Arizona March Madness game). However, the food and service were great. We each got one of the drink specials - they certainly don't skimp on the liquor! For food, we ordered three items and just split everything - -side salad (fresh and crisp, bleu cheese dressing tasted homemade?) -red rock cajun shrimp skillet - juicy, fresh shrimp served in a hot iron skillet with a spicy, peppery, cajun sauce. Comes with plenty of toasted garlic bread as well. Once the awesome shrimp was gone we soaked up all of the rich, buttery sauce with the bread (and maybe just a spoon!). We loved this -Grilled Chicken Salad - salad was humongous. Lettuce was crisp and fresh and chicken was plentiful and tender. On top were sweet crunchy apples and grapes. Loved the addition of the spicy but sweet pecans. Absolutely LOVED the apple cider vinaigrette. Ended up dipping some of the bread from the shrimp straight into the dressing lol This place is a find. Only downfall was all of the noise at the beginning. Made it hard for conversation.

Have you had the Orange Blossom beer? If you haven't I can't recommend it enough. It is a truly delicious beer offering. Every time we come to Sedona, we stop at PJs to enjoy delicious, cooked-to-ordered-temperature burgers, brews, and football games. Though I was rooting for the opposite team of most of the people in the bar, the jeering was good-natured and fun and we truly enjoyed our time here. Should you order the hot chili glaze wings, be fully prepared for the heat. Though we consider ourselves Arizonans, we've been away from the Southwest too long, and so were NOT prepared for the super spicy deliciousness these wings had to offer. Bonus, though, we drank bunches of water, which enabled us to hike the next morning instead of nursing hangovers. We'll definitely be back next time and every time we're in Sedona.

PJ's is very deceiving. It looks like a dive bar that would be good at just serving up some beer but it really surprised us with great food. The street tacos are excellent and so are the hot dogs and burgers. We have yet to have a bad meal here and as expected they have a good bar. TV's that are always playing the latest sports and pool tables make it a nice place to hang out at. They are also open late which in Sedona where city curfew goes into effect at 6 pm this is a nice option if you want something to eat or drink late.

Want a good burger in a non-tourist pub - this is the place. Been back many times. Going back again and again....

Local hang out with amazing food. from the minute we walked in the door we were greeted warmly not only by the server but by people at the bar who told us everything on the menu was good. The carne street tacos were really really good and so was the chili. Drinks were priced well. The waitress have a sense of humor . Felt like everyone was having fun.

Well, lets be fair, it's a 'local' bar, but the service was great Thanks Jesse, the beer selection was outstanding, and the food was GOOD pub grub.....Would we go again??? YES!

Pj's is a great place! You can grab a nice beer here and catch the game with a few of their tasty bar snacks (the fried zucchini is yummy). I have come here on Saturday for their prime rib and it is affordable as well as delicious. They also have wine, mixed drinks, and good service in a laid-back atmosphere that is guaranteed to provide a fun time!! I love Pj's Village Pub and I would highly recommend an outing here whether you live in the area or are simply visiting Sedona!!!!!!!

This place is awesome. We came here on our vacation to watch the SEC championship and have a few brews. They have a great locally-brewed beer selection and their menu looked good too. I had the mexican street tacos and they were to die for. My husband had the ribs and he said they were okay. Definitely try the Orange Blossom pale, and the Kilt Lifter ale. It's a little out of town from Sedona but the ride alone is worth it. The locals are very friendly and it's obviously a popular place. We would come back the next time we are in the area.

See Holly, she will fix you up right! I didn't eat, but I drank for CHEAP compared to what I drink for at home. $6.00 for a kettle one and cranberry and Holly was generous on the kettle one. :)

First off, I was skeptical because I struggled to find a menu online and I was not in the mood for pub food. It really isn't typical pub food! There are great options. Definitely start with chips and salsa. Also, don't hesitate to sit at the bar! Holly is the bartender and she is friggen awesome. In the end, fast and friendly service, with a fun atmosphere! Go.

OK.. I AM a fan. and I won't change my review but I have lots of ups and downs on this place. We went every evening that we stayed in the VOC. I have many points to make so I will start with the bad and end with the great. The bad: The service is VERY inconsistent. Sometimes there is a server, sometimes there isn't. They may transfer your tab to the waitress without telling you and just pop at the bar and play with their phone. I will say that everyone was kind and professional though. The chips suck. They taste very stale, the salsa isn't much better. Just don't order it. You have to walk in front of the outdoor "patio" to get in the door. It's a glorified smoking section so there is no outdoor dining on a great night. Occasionally they will have live music after 8pm. It's ALL over the place and is geared toward a younger crowd. The crowd there the week we were there consisted of bikers, senior citizen, bluebirds, middle age and 20 somethings.. most local but some on vacation. The good: Free Wifi, ask for the password. Inexpensive booze and food. Friendly, Casual. Great burgers, chili fries and chicken quesadilla. Lots of TV's. If they can get your home town sports team on the TV they will. Next visit there we will for sure be back!

We were in Sedona for two nights and came here both nights. The food and drinks were alright, typical bar fare, but what really made the place was the other people in the bar. Everyone was so friendly and we had a great time talking with the locals. We had a great time and will definitely be back the next time we are in Sedona.

We're vacationing in Sedona, from Philadelphia and wanted a sports bar with good food to watch the Eagles game. This place had pretty good reviews so we gave it a try. I had the bacon cheeseburger (everyone around us was ordering burgers so I assumed it would be good) it was mediocre. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and buffalo wings, he loved both. Overall a fun atmosphere with cold beer and ok food..good place in Sedona to watch a game, a lot of locals which made for good people watching!

Great local bar. Friendly service. Food is excellent. My favorite is the steak salad. There are always people there which is rare in Sedona. They have nightly specials. You won't drink alone at pj's.

This place is walking distance from our family condo in the little Village of Oak Creek. It is a nice little neighborhood bar with tons of beers on tap and some really good food. I personally recommend the onion rings and the potato skins. Prices are excellent, staff is accommodating and kind, and the establishment is well kept.

ok, so let me start out by saying this place is great. The ONLY reason it got 4 stars is because i only ate the previously mentioned awesome house made jalapeno poppers and some chips and salsa. Everything else was 5 star, as someone who lives in a tourist destination it was refreshing to find a great local non resort sports bar in this town. (thanks for the reco Rick) Mrs. FL Resident and I walked in and found among a TON of TV's with all the NFL games on, we were shortly greeted by Nicole. She took our drink order and promptly returned with menus and let us know she would be back in a moment. While waiting Mrs. FL Resident and I looked around this full sports bar and almost both remarked at the same time "is she the only person working the floor?" Nicole came back and this was the indeed the case, now normally in our neck of the woods this would be cause for panic. TOTALLY was not the case, Nicole was AMAZING and handled the whole floor in what would have taken 3 mediocre FL servers to do it. She was awesome! We never had to ask for refills on any of our drinks alcoholic or otherwise (drink the water in the desert!) and was smiling and friendly throughout. The locals who were hanging around us were friendly as most folks in the Sedona area are and we all had a great time cheering for the 3-5 games on simultaneously. Great Times and we will be back next visit.

This is the only place in Sedona that had the NBA prime ticket so we could catch our favorite team while visiting. If you are looking for a great sports bar with friendly service. This is a good call!

Probably not a destination but a good neighborhood bar. Tuesday is tequila day and they had a bunch of tequila specials and $5 house margaritas. Never one to turn down a margarita special, I had two. They were decent, worth $5, probably not more. They had a quite a few beers on tap so all the guys I was with were happy. The menu is pretty big but definitely nothing special. The burgers are pretty average, not great, but certainly not bad. My friend did get the quesadilla and I think it's the way to go, you get to choose the fillings and the choices are good. My father in law said one time it was just way too much cheese, but I think the more fillings you get the less cheese you get, so go for more. The pool is nice, it's a dollar a game. I have no idea if that's a good price or not but my husband and I had fun playing. The crowd is pretty chill, at least on a Tuesday. Nothing crazy going on. I'd honestly give it 3.5 stars if that were an option.

Skip the chips and salsa. They should be free if anything. I had a sneaking suspicion when my friend ordered it as an appetizer to share, but I thought, hey, if they're charging $4 for it, then it must be at least as good as all those Mexican restaurants that give it for free. WRONG. The chips were old and stale, and the salsa.... it might have been homemade, but I think the chips just ruined it. Good beer joint, though. The chips got better as I drank a couple pints. (Beer goggled stomach?)

Went here for burgers one night. I had the Red Wine burger and it was great. Strong Margaritas on special were lovely. We went on Tuesday and the man who was singing was great! So fun we stayed an hour longer just to listen to him.

PJ's was an oasis in the dessert......in an area surrounded by tourist traps, PJ's is a locals only bar that makes you feel at home. I admit that I only came here initially because I could walk here from my hotel, but man was I glad that I came here. PJ's has a decent food menu that is not overpriced and they have 18 beers on tap (!!) and I think the most expensive one was $3.50. Theres numerous TVs around the bar and there are pool tables in the back if you want to take a break from watching the game. Needless to say my buddy and I had such a great time here on Friday night that we came back here on Saturday to enjoy the cheap food/drinks while taking in the free, live music. Thank you PJs for giving me an out from the ridiculously over priced bars in the area!

went there for a takeout lunch. we are vegetarians and didnt have much options here, we had their tortilla pizza which was disgusting, we had a bite and threw it away. it was basically a soft tortilla with cheese thrown on it. no flavor or anything. we also had theer nachos which were the worst nachos iv ever had. i think a 4yr old can make better nachos that this place. salsa was also nothing great. we basically had a bite of each and threw away the rest. i would think a bar would have some decent bar food but i guess not.

Got into the Village of Oak Creek late and was hungry - went to a couple of apps on my iPhone and PJ's kept coming up. Pulled into the parking lot and it was almost empty on a Monday night. Well boy am I glad my wife said 'I'm hungry - let's go in'. From the time we opened the door till we left almost two hours later, not because of slow service - which it was not, but because of the food, friendly service and just the layed back ambiance of the Pub. I am a fan of 'Longhorn Steak' and they had the best Jalapeno Poppers - called them 'Prairie Peppers' - well these knocked their socks off, really awesome. Then we got a couple of the Burgers, I had the 'PJ's Classic' and added cheese and bacon. Told our waitress 'I don't like Red Onions, leave them off' and she came back with 'How about the sauteed onions?' - perfect choice. The Beer was perfectly COLD a good variety on tap.

I stopped in for lunch after a round of golf at the Oakcreek CC. The staff recommended PJ's as their restaurant was closed. Laura the bartender was very nice and the French Dip sandwich was excellent. Good bread, beef and au jus. The fries were great also, good natural cut type fries not the crunchy coated fries so many bar/pubs serve. I would definitely return. Good happy hour specials also.

The beer was cold, and the homemade jalapeno poppers were out of this world. They even have pool tables. The crowd appeared to be mostly locals of every age group. Not a bad bar to stop by if you are in the area.

Very nice local hangout sports bar. Staff and patrons were very friendly and accomodating. Drinks were very reasonable. Great place to kick back and enjoy a few after a long day shopping or hiking. Food was very mediocre which is why I don't rate it higher but hey...it's a bar.
