On the Sunday the U.S. Women were playing Japan in the Women's World Cup final, we found this dog-friendly place. The pot roast was delicious and the Reuben was ok (the bread was a bit oily). The staff was wonderful and nicely attentive. Come here and you won't regret it!
Good food, great service! Everyone in our party enjoyed their breakfast. Would recommend if you are passing by and hungry ;)
Love! Delicious, fresh coffee every time, simple, yummy food (my tuna melt rocked!) & the most considerate waitresses ever: one warned me about the snakes no fewer than five times! Plus, getting off the main drag totally makes you feel like a local ;-) Credit cards are Visa & MC only, so carry appropriately.

Crazys is only opened from 4 until 7 everyday until April 19, 2015. At that time they will close for the season and will reopen on October 15, 2015. Thanks for a great season. We look forward to seeing you in the fall.
Came here after trying another restaurant where we were ignored. Our food was great and we got excellent service with a smile. This place is clean, bright and not noisy like the others in town. We will be back.
Crazy Jerry's is a hidden gem for wings! Super fresh, plump, and juicy.. unlike some chain restaurants. The staff is extremely nice and courteous.

Great food in an inconspicuous place. It was my 1st time and it definitely won't be my last. Every time I drive through Blythe/Quartzite I won't stop in Blythe and eat anymore. Silly Al's gets 2 thumbs up!!
Wow, definitely one of the best pizzas I have ever had. The Mediterranean pizza is amazing. The Hawaiian is increadible and the combination is out of this world. A must if you are staying in Quartsite and if it lunch or dinner time get off the freeway and enjoys some great food.
Awesome place to eat and have cocktails.. Gets REALLY busy in the Winter time but other than that it's a great place to eat.. Best pizza within 100 miles of us!!!! Outstanding pizza!!!

On our way to Phoenix stopped for breakfast. 10 minutes after they stopped serving at 11. Our super server (owner, Michelle) said she could rustle me up some biscuits and gravy and a couple of sausage patties. Didn't have to do that but was so sweet to offer. Opted for the turkey (real roasted turkey breast) on whole grain with cream cheese and cranberries. Sooooo good and something different for a change. Hubs had an awesome patty melt/fries. Everything was fresh hot and yummy. Super clean and awesomely kind and friendly. And I am one picky foodie. Can't go wrong here.
Can't ask for much more. Great place to stop while you're on the road.. Beats fast food any day. Had the BLT and a bowl of chili. Girlfriend had a grilled cheese and soup of the day (clam chowder). Simple and made well. The bread was toasted perfectly for the BLT and grilled perfectly on the grilled cheese. Reasonable prices, friendly service, and the food came out quickly.
We had a very nice breakfast here. The place was busy though because of Quartzsite s exploding population duting Jan and Feb. By the time we left, people were 4 deep at the foor waiting for a tabke !

Save this place for when you just can't wait any longer to eat. The place is clean and the service is friendly. The food is edible but I would not go here as a dining destination. We were low on fuel and needed to make a gas and food stop. There were not many food choices so we tried this place out. It won't hurt you but it will not put it on your must return list!
Real nice, very American kind of family restaurant. Waitress very nice and good humored. Food was fine, nothing frilly, just solid American breakfast fare.
Stopped here to eat today while driving back to Phoenix.. Huge mistake. The place is very very dated and the staff is very unfriendly (at best). She sat us and threw 3 napkins and 3 forks on the table can back 5 minutes later with 3 cups of water and said nothing left again.. Never took our drink order or asked what we wanted to drink. 10 minutes later she took our order and 30 minutes later I got an ice cold grilled cheese sandwich, cold BLT and nasty cheese burger.. I watched her walk around rolling her eyes at customers that got her attention and asked for their check. A "regular" asked what was in the fridge for dessert and she promptly told him to go look for himself. We will never ever be back. Ever!!

McDonald’s

As with the McDonalds in Banning, CA. we stop here every time we drive from Chandler, AZ to Newport Beach, CA. So I've been here a lot for not being a local (thank goodness). This is a BUSY McDonalds. It's next to a Pilot gas station. I agree with the reviewer who said he felt this location was like a Walmart, you see all types of people here. But it is in the middle of nowhere, lots of transient people here so I feel it's almost expected. The wait for your food can take a bit longer than at other less busy McDonalds but that's the price you pay stopping here. K, C & I have never really found it a problem. The food itself has always been exactly what we ordered. The service from the counter person is nothing great but let's be honest... They live in Quartzsite or maybe Blythe, CA. but either way we cut them some slack. The bathrooms are clean which is pretty remarkable for how often they get used. Average Food, Average Service, average score. 3 Stars
I would give this location 4 stars if they didn't have so many flies flying around and hanging out on the ceiling. That's really the only downside of the spot. Bathrooms are squeaky clean. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Food was no different than other McDonald's I have been to, which is a good thing as nothing tasted out of the ordinary. It is also one of the nicest McDonald's I have ever seen as well.
Make sure you check your order!!! They forget at least one item EVERY TIME I go in there.. Food is as good as fast food can get. Children's happy meal fries are always old..

We stop to eat at Sweet Darlene's every time we're in the area. We like being able to sit with other people and hear their stories. The food is really good. The steaks and hamburgers are our favorites! And also the fish fry on Friday night is delicious!! You'd better get in line early and don't become discouraged. If you're in a hurry, this is not the place to be. Just slow down, enjoy the company and some homemade meals! Wave at Darlene if you see her; she's almost always there!
Typical American food. Nothing amazing, but not bad either. I had heard the Friday Fish Night was good, but I wasn't here on a Friday.
A place to eat, no big deal! Middle of the road, looks like a meeting hall more than a restaurant. Not good, not bad.

So, I found myself on my way from Phoenix to Palm Springs....hungry. I also caught sight of a sign that read Daniel's Jerky. I have been known to go to extraordinary lengths to find good jerky, so I hopped off Exit 17 on I-10 in Quartzsite, AZ. Easy off, hang two quick rights, and you are at Daniel's Jerky. It is a lovely store, nice and cool on a hot day, They have an awesome selection of homemade jerky, hot sauces, bbq sauces....AND a wonderful selection of unique, one of a kind soda pops made w sugar, not high fructose corn syrup!! Omg...i had a field day browsing all the flavors, and spent more than I should have. But unique finds are always worth it, because you get to relive the memory of the fun you had picking them out!! :). After Daniel's, I walked over to the Times Three Family Restaurant for breakfast. It was Mother's Day, so I asked my waitress, Cena, about working it. She said her kids were all grown, but from listening to the all grown up older guys sitting at her counter chatting with her, her Mom qualities and sense of humor are still in very good use!! She took very good care of me too, as I enjoyed my half order of biscuits and sausage gravy (which filled the plate btw), 2 eggs and hashbrowns. Everything was really good, and they had a surprisingly terrific selection of hot teas to pick from, Twinings no less...top drawer! These are two places not to miss if you like great jerky and an old fashioned country breakfast cafe experience. They serve lunch and dinner too, I understand. Just one thing...Daniel...put a pass through in your fence!!! ;)
Dined at the 3X last evening during their busy hour. Callie was our waitress and she was personable and efficient. I have read all the reviews and I was shocked by the poor reviews. I witnessed every worker working as hard as humanly possible. Our food was typical diner food for the area but I thought it was a step up in selection and taste. Just remember you are in a small town and chill. Quartzite is not fast paced.
We haven't got our food yet but our waitress is so rude! She acts like we are a bother. Our servers apron says her name is Cena but from reading other yelp comments I think she might just be wearing someone else's apron because another yelp comment said Cena was nice and had grown kids. This girl is about 18 and this is probably her first serving job because she just sets everything on the table and walks away there was no, "how are you guys?" Or anything. Also, I don't know what's taking our food so long everyone has gotten their food around us and they came in way later then us.The decor? Has a whole bunch of creepy dolls hanging on the wall!!

Quartzsite is the epitome of a one horse town, and with one horse, comes little variety in dining. Ive been to this town twice for work, and basically if you don't eat fast food, you have two choices. After lunch and dinner, you can repeat on day two, or go for fast food. I under no circumstances will eat fast food, especially from a mega chain. I am also vegetarian, so that puts me out of the loop regardless. What I did learn on my first trip out here, since I was forced by my company to eat here, was that they have veggie burgers, and what they claim to be "all fruit smoothies". Their veggie burger is a frozen store bought patty, probably a "garden burger" brand, and comes with a "spread" which is by no means vegetarian, and since its called a "spread", leads me to believe that it is something disgusting like thousand island dressing or other mayonnaise based variant. So I order it plain, with just lettuce and tomato. Somehow on both occasions here they have managed to mess this up. Their "all fruit smoothie" isn't bad, and is a welcome cool drink on the unbearably hot days in this town, but its texture and flavor lead me to believe that there is a lot more than fruit and possibly ice in it. I make smoothies at home, and Ive only managed to get a texture like this with yogurt added, so if someone out there is in charge of inspecting these things, take a look here and reveal any false promises please. I ask for a side of BBQ sauce for the burger, because realistically that is whats going to make it more than a lukewarm mush patty. Of course their ketchup and BBQ sauce features the ever enticing diabetes inducing high fructose corn syrup, so quality is certainly not at the top of their list, nor is the health of their customers. A quick buck is all they seem to want, and it makes sense being a mega fast food chain. Still, the presence of a veggie burger is a step in the right direction, though it is probably only motivated by profiting from an ever growing demographic, regardless, this makes them a renaissance man in an otherwise crooked and corporate industry, which is what earned them three stars instead of zero, or what I would have chosen: negative something or other.
My fiancé and I decided we'll stop and get something to eat on our way back from Sprint Training in Arizona. When we got there everything seemed cool. I really liked the stagecoach outside! We ordered and got our food, but when we asked for BBQ sauce and ranch the lady gave us an attitude and somewhat threw the packs on top of our food. They then forgot to give us our drinks. I stood at the order-pickup place for about 2 minutes before anyone even acknowledge me. I told her that they had forgotten my drink and she gave really bad attitude and sarcastically gave me my cups with some kind of smirk. The food was the usual.
Wife wanted something to eat, I decided to kill myself at Chester's! So we stopped of here so she can get a burger. Burger King! We all know how their food is! The service is decent here, staff is very friendly. Very convenient, it's located inside the fuel station and snack shop. Very good place to go if you're interested of knocking off hunger and fuel at the same time.

Always thought Subway was a great alternative when traveling, and I still feel that way. Usually we like to stop off at a restaurant, however when your're on your way home all you want to do is get home! This franchise is located in the Pilot Truck Stop, so it can be crowded at times. It is a little small, not much seating. Food wise, all Subway's are about the same. Just depending on the service. This location was just fine, our sandwiches were fresh, had plenty of meat or veggies. Have no complaints here, just another large franchise.
Had a coupon for a foot long would not take it... why don't all businesses just take the coupons because we just walked out and didn't spend a dime at all...
Located inside of a truck stop gas station, this Subway is a convenient place to stop for a quick bite to eat when going between Phoenix and California. There is free WiFi available if you need it and there's plenty of seating in the back. Whenever I stop here, I get my 12" BMT, which is my favorite Subway Sandwich.http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/subway-quartzsite?select=bxrXe6UniozKC7zh3Ak18Q#bxrXe6UniozKC7zh3Ak18Q Return Factor - 70%
