So, I found myself on my way from Phoenix to Palm Springs....hungry. I also caught sight of a sign that read Daniel's Jerky. I have been known to go to extraordinary lengths to find good jerky, so I hopped off Exit 17 on I-10 in Quartzsite, AZ. Easy off, hang two quick rights, and you are at Daniel's Jerky. It is a lovely store, nice and cool on a hot day, They have an awesome selection of homemade jerky, hot sauces, bbq sauces....AND a wonderful selection of unique, one of a kind soda pops made w sugar, not high fructose corn syrup!! Omg...i had a field day browsing all the flavors, and spent more than I should have. But unique finds are always worth it, because you get to relive the memory of the fun you had picking them out!! :). After Daniel's, I walked over to the Times Three Family Restaurant for breakfast. It was Mother's Day, so I asked my waitress, Cena, about working it. She said her kids were all grown, but from listening to the all grown up older guys sitting at her counter chatting with her, her Mom qualities and sense of humor are still in very good use!! She took very good care of me too, as I enjoyed my half order of biscuits and sausage gravy (which filled the plate btw), 2 eggs and hashbrowns. Everything was really good, and they had a surprisingly terrific selection of hot teas to pick from, Twinings no less...top drawer! These are two places not to miss if you like great jerky and an old fashioned country breakfast cafe experience. They serve lunch and dinner too, I understand. Just one thing...Daniel...put a pass through in your fence!!! ;)

Dined at the 3X last evening during their busy hour. Callie was our waitress and she was personable and efficient. I have read all the reviews and I was shocked by the poor reviews. I witnessed every worker working as hard as humanly possible. Our food was typical diner food for the area but I thought it was a step up in selection and taste. Just remember you are in a small town and chill. Quartzite is not fast paced.

We haven't got our food yet but our waitress is so rude! She acts like we are a bother. Our servers apron says her name is Cena but from reading other yelp comments I think she might just be wearing someone else's apron because another yelp comment said Cena was nice and had grown kids. This girl is about 18 and this is probably her first serving job because she just sets everything on the table and walks away there was no, "how are you guys?" Or anything. Also, I don't know what's taking our food so long everyone has gotten their food around us and they came in way later then us.The decor? Has a whole bunch of creepy dolls hanging on the wall!!

Stopped here to eat breakfast with my daughter, just the 2 of us. I waited 8 minutes and no one seated us. It wasnt busy and several waitresses even looked at us from afar. A couple of older people walked in and immediately got seated. Worst customer service, I've never felt so disrespected and discriminated. I've been traveling 9 hours and just wanted something other than fast food, better off eating at McDonald's.

Never have I ever been here and I'm glad I gave this place a try! I fell in LOVE with this place! The customer service was PERFECT. They made me feel welcome. They even used words like gentlemen and sweetheart. The ambiance of this place is very inviting. Food is great and affordable! Definitely give this place a try! Can't go wrong :)

Made it through the door and waited long enough to be seated and to have our order taken but it never happened. We stood there waiting for someone to at least tell us they didn't serve our kind so we wouldn't have wasted our time. I had a stare down with an older gentleman behind the counter but he won and we left. We will ensure that we plan accordingly not to ever stop in Quartzsite AZ. Sad.

In Quartzsite during tourist season, all the restaurants are packed and all the workers are harried and frazzled and worn down. The town does not have enough good workers to fill the needs of those few months of snowbird insanity. Most of the restaurants only have frozen food out of the freezer that is then deep fried. I keep those things in mind when judging Quartzsite facilities. But this X3 has real food, and the waiters do better in the rush than most locations. The steaks are tender and well cooked, salads and salad dressing are good, country potatoes good, etc. They are one of the few places around that serves real food cooked fresh that actually tastes good. Just don't expect things to arrive quickly or every little detail perfect if the place is being slammed.

Went to 3 Tmes Friday night for the fish fry. They ere now serving Cod and it it was great two huge pieces and all the rest of the works. Will be going back. Best fish fry in Quartzsite.

Nothing special here... standard Sysco fare. Nice salad but the rest of the meal was just put in the fryer from the freezer. They also need more wait staff. They were trying and seemed to be running eveywhere but still not good service.... Good place if you are on I-10 and don't want a fast food burger..

Stopped here to eat today while driving back to Phoenix.. Huge mistake. The place is very very dated and the staff is very unfriendly (at best). She sat us and threw 3 napkins and 3 forks on the table can back 5 minutes later with 3 cups of water and said nothing left again.. Never took our drink order or asked what we wanted to drink. 10 minutes later she took our order and 30 minutes later I got an ice cold grilled cheese sandwich, cold BLT and nasty cheese burger.. I watched her walk around rolling her eyes at customers that got her attention and asked for their check. A "regular" asked what was in the fridge for dessert and she promptly told him to go look for himself. We will never ever be back. Ever!!

I'm giving this place 4 stars for the food, once it finally arrived. The service was not great the day I was there and the crowd was not overwhelming so I'm not sure what the problem was... Anyway, we had breakfast and it was very good.

A little slow and they ran out of straws but once they got to us it was good food and friendly service.
