Have lived here in Prescott 7 years and finally tried this place. It has the loveliest patio in town (trees, flowers, twinkling lights strung) and I was able to bring my dog. It's not the best food you'll ever have but it was very good. All 3 of us were happy with our choices, the waitress has been there forever and was very friendly and accommodating, and they pour a huge glass of wine. Will be back more often for that patio ambiance.

This restaurant is near our home, so we have tried on a number of occasions to like it. However after tonight we will have to give up and look for a different regular favorite. The service was slow, food unremarkable and cold, value not particular good, and drunken proprietor off putting . Spend your money someplace else, find a better "regular favorite".

Seven friends from our high school in St Louis (Ferguson HS!!!) meet monthly somewhere in N AZ for lunch. Everywhere we've been it's noisy, rushed and mediocre food EXCEPT for Willow Creek Restaurant in Prescott. What a beautiful setting and fantastic owners and wait staff! We LOVED it! The food was very good. The special was Shepard's Pie and all the men got that, raving about it. I had a craving for a BLT on toasted sourdough. There was lots of bacon and was delicious. The soup was Potato Parmesan and also excellent. It was a Thursday and the owner saw how much we were enjoying our conversations and suggested we stay as long as we wanted. We stayed 2-hours and then owner have us a tour. I've read some negative comments abt this place and do not understand their merit. Our experience and satisfaction was 110%. We'll definitely return!

Very rude older gentleman working here. No one else at restaurant and this was listed on many dog friendly restaurants. Patio and interior very dirty and upon seeing I had two dogs and "leashes that were too long" were asked not to come. Very ride from a "dog fridndly" establishment.

We went to this establishment on Friday night for their Wisconsin fish fry. We had a 5 yr old son with we sat in the entertainment area. It was approximately 7:30 at night and the restaurant was extremely busy very short staffed. 20 minutes later no one came to our table and asked us if we wanted any drinks. An older couple came and sat next to they immediately waited on them. And this is by the same waitress that sat our table. We're in the restaurant bus we were appalled and left. Is very charming place we drove 20 minutes to the get here what a waste of time we won't be going back there. They have these kitch shirts that say Wine o bit on the back of the shirts have no wine list. We can't review the food because we even tried it. Bad! If you have one foot on a banana peel in the other one in the grave this is the perfect place for you.

Food is not good, nothing fresh & much like frozen TV dinner food! Service is hit & miss & the drunk, loud, arguing owners who like to interrupt your conversations do not make for a pleasant dining experience! So AWFUL.... consider yourself warned!

When I read reviews that rave about the food at this restaurant, I really have to wonder about the standards of the reviewers. Other than possibly the specials, the food here is straight out of the freezer or a can. It is not fresh or even interesting. If you have to buy frozen meatballs, how can you even call yourself a restaurant? I truly could not believe that I was served something so profoundly horrible and blatantly pre-made in some factory somewhere. How hard is it to make a meatball? When I eat out, I expect something better than what I could have nuked at home myself in 5 minutes, and that is precisely what you get at Willow Creek. Some of the specials seem to be made from fresh food, but I wouldn't swear to that either. I enjoyed the corned beef and cabbage special for St. Pats, that wasn't out of a can, but I don't think you can buy it in a can, it's just a matter of boiling the meat and vegetables, so I can't give any props for that accomplishment. I haven't tried any other specials, so I can't comment on the freshness or quality of those. The service is fine. Just don't expect an exciting or even a reasonably decent eating experience. A great place for people who like nursing home food or who have never had a meal made from fresh ingredients, so don't know the difference. The decor is really outdated. I realize it's meant to represent the Victorian age, but at some point things really do need a freshening up. All things considered, the only reason I can come up with to visit this eatery is if I'm invited to join a party of friends who don't really care what they eat, but who come for the drinks and music.

I read a review about this place on another site (please forgive my indiscretions. I only love you Yelp. It meant nothing). The reviewer said the place was awful because they ordered the Alfredo sauce and it had too much garlic! Can you imagine? Too much garlic? What's next, there's too much money in my bank account. My children are too well behaved. My wife is too hot!?! You can't have too much garlic. I promptly went out that night and ordered the Alfredo. It was heavenly. It was creamy and garlicy and oh so good! My husband had the German food (It was German night) and he loved it too. Whatever. It was our anniversary and they brought us a free piece of cake, some strange looking thing that I didn't want to eat. I was stuffed and it looked fruity (like lemon or orange or something). I thought since it was free it would be rude not to taste it. It was so good! The waitress said it was better than sex, which may have been the name of the cake or just her opinion, I'm not sure. All around great food and friendly service. I'm going back tonight for my birthday. Maybe I'll get more free cake.

One of my new favorite Prescott restaurants! Came here to suprise my mom for her birthday dinner a couple of weeks before Christmas. They had the whole place decorated with lights, very festive. The ambiance on the inside is cool as well, we sat in the bar since there was a keyboard player/singer who was actually pretty good. I too read about the garlic alfredo sauce and had to try, being that I have so desensitized myself to garlic (using 4-5 cloves when it calls for 1 or 2) that I love anything that actually tastes like it. I thought the pasta was great. The rest of the group got some sort of BBQ or the other. The pork ribs were right on, especially when dipped in the sauce. Best part of the place was the owner and staff. Knowing that it was my mom's birthday, they got the piano player to do the Happy Birthday song, and the whole place joined in. The waitress was really nice and the owner came over a couple of times to shoot the breeze and make sure we were happy, oh and to brag about how good he had personally cooked the ribs :-) Overall a great, happy place to go. Definatly hit it up again next time I am in town.

This is a gorgeous building that is in a beautiful location. Historic and lovely.. The food is very Ho Hum bordering on boring. Nothing special. The service is Ho Hum also...sometimes to the 'perturbed' level. When I dine out, I LOVE to be catered to such as special sauces, etc. The servers sometimes seem so preoccupied with whatever they are trying to accomplish, the client feels 'left out'. As a daily worker in the area THAT REALLY NEEDS A 'GO TO PLACE' FOR LUNCH, this restaurant would truly benefit from...friendly service from the servers...FRESH unique dishes..reasonable prices...fast service..and the feeling from the staff that you NEED to return...i have not felt that from this restaurant..most of the time, as a 54 year young client, i have felt to be the youngest in the building...GIVE US SOME EXCITEMENT MAN!!!...just sayin

The cream of broccoli soup was superb. 5 stars. Ribs very good. 4 stars Veggies cooked perfectly. 4 stars The potato skins were not skins, but were wedges with the skin on. And they were not deep fried as stated in the menu. The wedges had peels, but the peel was unremarkable. I mean, they were dry, and had not been rubbed with oil or butter before baking. and seemed thin, almost un-russet like. I have had much better peels by accident when I just had a baked potato. ...........2 stars. The house red was forgettable. We will do without wine next time. 2 stars. As for ambience, we were near the bar, which was a mistake. Loud people. Not bad people, just drinkers, not diners....... 2 stars.

When we arrived we told them we had reservations which were clearly not needed. She said "Just a minute" and then disappeared! We never saw her again. After about five minutes another person came and showed us to a table outside. After yet another person served our drinks, we waited quite awhile for another person to take our order. I had the fish and chips which arrived greasy and tough and the baked potato could have been cooked more. Everything is WAY overpriced for what it is. The best part about the evening was the music and the wine. Save your money.

One can easily drive past the Willow Creek Restaurant without noticing its existence. In fact, after living in Prescott for nearly four years, I had yet to try this establishment until recently. Housed in a building that was originally constructed in 1877 - standing at the corner of South Summit Avenue and Beach Avenue in Downtown Prescott - it was moved (yes, that's right - moved) in 1962 to its present location. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was greeted in a very courteous and expeditious manner. However, the service at this restaurant did not stand apart from other area restaurants until the waitress took our order. After inquiring to recommendations, the restaurant owner interjected and offered to serve us a sampling of the smoked barbeque pork ribs. After waiting a couple minutes - as our samples were being smoked - the owner returned with both a piece of the ribs and its Homemade B.B.Q. Sauce (in a separate container). The ribs peeled off effortless and were savory and succulent; the way ribs are supposed to be. The ribs were delicious, regardless if accompanied with or without the sauce! For appetizers, I recommend the "Shrimp Cocktail." If available on your visit, I also recommend the clam chowder. The chowder was rich and creamy. For the main entrée, I definitely recommend the "BBQ Pork Ribs." In fact, this establishment was voted for having the "Best Barbeque in Prescott," receiving the award from the Prescott Chamber of Commerce. The ambience is serene, and the establishment relies heavily on natural lighting from the windows. You will likely see the owner sitting at the bar area (as he always seems to be there). You may also select to sit in the outdoor patio area. Prices are affordable, with appetizers in the $10 range, while main entrees range from $15 to $20. Service is perhaps the best that I have encountered in all of Prescott. Whether dine-in or takeout, service is reliable. Additional Notes: - If ordering ribs, first try without BBQ sauce; then with. You will have new respect for smoked meats...
