Since we've been on our trip to Arizona, we've been wanting to try Dairy Queen so we looked the closest one up to our hotel and that's why we came here. Honestly, we were having doubts, since this DQ was in a gas station, but surprisingly it was really good. This little old lady was there, I hate that I never got her name, but she opened up right on time, and the whole time she was busy prepping, cleaning doing anything and everything. She was super friendly and took our orders right away. As soon as she rung us up, she went to the back and started cooking the food, i was surprised she didn't even have a cook in the back, she was doing EVERYTHING herself. When we got our food, which was about 5-10 minutes later, it was delicious. My husband got the Flame Thrower combo with onion rings and I got the Grill burger combo. The food was really good, but we thought it lacked a little spice. A nice touch would've been some jalepeños or some banana peppers, then the food would've been amazing! Overall, the place was pretty nice, the service was great, and the food was very good. If we're ever in Arizona again, in these parts, we would definitely stop by again. P.s. if our "friend" is working on the day you go, tip her, she deserves it, we did and her words were "Thank you! You've made my day!" :)

Well I made it to the Grand Opening last month and I have to say it far exceeded my expectations. The fine spirits (Vodka, Hot Potato Vodka, Gurley Street Gin, Western Sage Gin (my personal fav), Bloody Basin Bourbon and Escalante Rum) were all super delish and I really liked that you got to taste each one for free that day. I think for a nominal fee of $5 you can purchase a TBD shot glass and have the exact same "flight". You can also order mixed drinks from their specialty menu which are reasonably priced at $5. The place is not small but it's also not huge and vacuous, it's intimate in the right kind of way. The tasting room seats people at a bar and then there are tables as well. I understand that they will be expanding to an outside patio area soon too. This is definitely a "go to" place to take visiting out of towners and also a great place to go relax on a Saturday afternoon or if you get off of work early enough, to meet friends for a relaxing cocktail or a shot or two before you head home. I could also see having a milestone birthday party there or an anniversary party or a small wedding reception. The owners are the servers and will give you a tour if you ask and are very nice and funny too. The only disappointment was in myself for having gotten just the Vodka (and only one bottle? What was I thinking?) Next trip I'm going to purchase EVERYTHING! Doubles in fact! Go, enjoy. Youll love it!
My wife and I found this beauty after our positive experience at The Palace on Whiskey Row. Our server Martha advised that their whiskey was local. So, with that, we had to go find this place. We had my parents with us and my dad loves a good whiskey. We were warmly greeted by Jim. We almost didn't attend since Siri advised it was closed. Glad we called since we had a wonderful experience sampling the different vodkas, rum, and whiskey. Enjoyed the lemongrass vodka and took home a bottle of the rye. The sampling was a nice value but the friendliness of the staff really made it shine. We look forward to getting back next time we travel back to Arizona from Washington,DC.
To anyone with any interest in fine craft spirits I overwhelming recommend the five star boutique Thumb Butte Distillery. All over their spirits were top notch. This place was truly a hidden gem experience in the town of Prescott. Our bartender/taster Linda was awesome and so easy to talk to. She turned what would normally have been a 30 minute tasting into a two-hour afternoon of laughs, fine spirits and great company and conversation. Make sure you go when she's there and tip her well! Lastly I also recommend the cheese plate prepared for us by the owner. The cheeses were all great quality, good portions, and completed all they had to offer. Whatever your liquor of choice may be, Thumb Butte has it, and I cannot recommend this place enough!

My husband and I decided to book a night here recently for a babymoon getaway. We had a fantastic time! This b&b is charming and well-run. When we arrived to check in, we were greeted by the owner, who was very sweet and informative. Our room had a little "welcome" package with Martinellis and chocolates and in all the suite (the Columbine) was lovely! We used the Keurig in the room and had coffee and hot chocolate in the morning. Breakfast was great - coffee, juices, granola/yogurt,cream cheese waffles and turkey sausage with fruit. YUM! We met some great people at the table as well. We'll definitely be back here in the future. I would recommend this b&b if you want a nice, relaxing getaway with a perfect location near Prescott's fun city hall square.
We stayed over Memorial Day weekend 2011. Dawn and Lisa were great. The new decor was fresh and welcoming and the food was fantastic. We will definetely stay again.
The Prescott Pines Inn is a nice get-away from the heat and clutter of the city. The rooms are clean and on the small side, however they do have reasonable amenities including a TV, DVD player (and free DVDs from the inn), microwave, minifridge, etc. The served breakfast has always been excellent - typically an egg or pancake dish along with fresh fruit and fresh juice, coffee, or tea. The service is always outstanding - the proprietors and staff are always available to offer suggestions and take care of your needs. The rooms are just along the local highway, providing easy access, however traffic is not busy and does not disturb you in the evening.

What a Prescott gem! I found the place on yelp and it did not disappoint. Off the main drag which was really nice during the crazy summer weekends in Prescott. Cute interior look, not too crowded. We got bagels with cream cheese and cookies. I am a bagel and smear snob and each were spectacular. Chewy exterior, not overblown dough like einsten's ... You could tell the bagels were boiled like they should be. However, I would come back again just for the chocolate chip walnut cookies! AMAZING! I asked if they sold the cookie dough or at least give me the recipe but alas ... No on both accounts. :) the only downside was the limited supply of bagel types ... Not sure if they were sold out or just did not make each variety every day. They didn't even have plain available at 11am. But the ancient grain bagel (quinoa, spelt) was super good. Check it out!
Came up for the weekend and stopped in here on Sunday morning. They were slammed, and for good reason...great Bagels and drinks. It looks like they added other baked goods like croissants. Tried an iced drink that was made of OJ and espresso: you would assume the combo is an odd one, but somehow it worked.
Oh my gosh, why didn't we discover this bagel shop a long time ago! They have a great variety of bagels, and they are the best bagels I have EVER had in my whole life! Need cream cheese to go? They have a nice selection of favors. When in town, do check this shop out!!

BE SURE YOU COME HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These guys are AMAZING !!!!!!!! Great food, great service, cute building, great atmosphere and best of their Lord of the Fries menu has dishes that are basically an embellished pile of French fries. Don't knock it til you've tried it !!!!!! Tasty, incredibly fresh, great taste medley w/o being overbearing. I was absolutely delighted. Really original, really well done, really casual and yet really professional. If you try this place out you will become a culinary legend in your own mind; if you don't, take solace in the fact you will never know what a gigantic schmuck you are for missing it.
I've been back a few times. Tried burgers and dogs, and they did not disappoint. I especially like the way this place treats my teenager and her friends with respect. It's a lesson a few other businesses around the square could use. The feedback I get from her affects where i channel my local business dollars. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the friendly young woman at the counter did not have all the skills in answering questions and suggesting things that the owner has. She was fine and did good, just a little shy maybe?? I continue to patronize recommend Devil's Pantry.
The look of this place is fun, very simple and maybe even a little old school. The employees are very nice and helpful. I ordered the chili cheese fries and a bacon wrapped corndog. The corndog was good but could have been fried a little longer and the chili on the fries was a bit sweet. I had to add salt and tabasco continuously. My girlfriend ordered a turkey leg and sweet potato fries. The turkey leg was absolutely delicious and the fries tasted like little French bread sticks. Yum! We will certainly visit again!

Delicious food, fresh breads baked daily, a small yet frequently changing menu with savory omnivore and vegetarian options, wine beer and cocktails, all at very reasonable prices...what's not to like? BiGAs co-owners are a talented chef and friendly maître d' and they have supervised the revamping of the intimate physical space into a unique "industrial chic". The simplicity plays well for casual "Fun Dining", both lunch and dinner, here in Prescott. It's the type of place where you are sure to run into someone you know and conversation flows freely between the friendly staff and customers. The changing yet consistently delicious menu entices you back to try new offerings and the gleaming bar welcomes you to enjoy appetizers and drinks. 5 star yummy and fun in my book for casual "fun dining".
I ate here with my parents and 7 month old daughter when I first moved to Prescott back in April. This place is tiny but super cute and the food is amazing! Service was a bit slow but other than that we were all pleased with our meals. I had the Asian turkey burger and it was delicious! I can't remember what my parents had but I do remember they were also both pleased with their choices. I will definitely go back and take my friends who come to visit!
BiGA is one of Prescott's culinary gems. The food has always left me completely satisfied. You can tell a lot of care and attention goes into each dish. As I enjoy trying new things, I quite enjoy the rotating menu. Also, the price is very reasonable given the excellent quality of the food.

All I can say is "will not disappoint". This is the 2nd time we've stayed at this hotel when in the Prescott area.. there's no reason why we would go anywhere else - their hotel is beautifully preserved, well-maintained, antique; their service is better than any B&B we've stayed out and the location is prime.. pretty much the best spot to stay to enjoy Prescott. Their breakfast was continental but still quality; they are w/in walking distance to the courthouse park (which has activities every weekend); antique yet clean and well-maintained rooms... We don't plan on changing our hotel venue anytime soon... this is our go-to place :)
My husband and I stayed here on our honey moon. We almost stayed another night but decided we needed to spend the holiday with out family instead. This is a wonderful cute little hotel within walking distance of a lot of great little shops and places to eat. The people who work here are so friendly and helpful. We love this place.
Great place. Old and rustic but still in great condition. Exactly what you'd hope for by going to an "old" hotel in Prescott! Very friendly and supportive staff. We'll be going back!

Best hot dogs and fries around. Owners are super friendly and take care of their customers. I've heard the burgers are just as good as the dogs.
Awesome food! Lots of options for hot dogs and burgers, all beef, and great French fries. Got the hangover Burger with jalapeños and it was amazing. Definitely a great local place and right off the 89 across from Watson lake.
My husband and I loved the burgers and cilantro garlic fries. They have an awesome ranch jalapeño with cilantro. They are only open 11 - 3 wed thru fri and till 4 on Saturdays. Don't miss out.

I CANNOT believe they have a place this cool in Prescott. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of fun places along Whiskey Row to get your drink on but this speak-easy inspired spot is an awesome place to come in, chill out and enjoy a beer, glass of wine, or a hand-crafted cocktail. I have to thank our bartender at Lyzzard's Lounge for bringing us here after a few drinks at his spot. You enter through the less than conspicuous back door below street level and enter a world of ambient lighting, cool tunes, an awesome bar with some community tables and other seating. iIf you can get a spot at the bar, the expert mixologists will throw together original, tasty concoctions or a craft beer. The crowd is decidedly more distinguished than you'll find at most of the other watering holes but they're friendly and here to have a good time. This really reminds me of something you'd perhaps find in Portland or some other "cool" city here in The States. Definitely come check this place out, it is AWESOME!!!!!
Me and my now fiancé went to this bar with her cousin last November and I must say. One of the chillest bars I've ever been too. The atmosphere is amazing. I live out in Los Angeles and have been wanting to go back ever since. I know my review is all late but it's better late than never!
One of my favorite spots in Prescott to come for a casual drink! This bar is one of the coolest places I've ever been to. This was my second time there, and now it is a ritual anytime I go to Prescott. Starting off here or ending here is the way to go, just remember it is more of a laid back feel but try and take in all the amazing decor. If you're looking for hidden and low-key place with a speakeasy environment, then look no further. This bar is not your ordinary Whiskey Row bar, but it has much to offer. There are many drinks on the menu, but my favorite is any of the Mules. Moscow Mule to be exact - hands down. It is a must to try! You will be able to enjoy in a nice copper mug :) All the bartenders are pretty friendly and busy trying to knock out all the fancy drink orders! Check it out.

My favorite of all the Starbucks around here. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. When I've had a bad day, they always cheer me up. My dog even loves this place because when we go thru the drive up they always offer her a Pup Cup of whipped cream that she Loves. She gets excited when I pulled up the the window, I'm sure she associates the smell of fresh coffee with a treat. My Frappuchino is always the best, not hit and miss like some of the other local locations.
Okay, Starbucks is my guilty pleasure. I love Starbucks. ..have yet to visit one I didn't like. Remember that song from Sesame Street. ..one of these does not belong with the others? That would be one of their employees whose name is Pepper. Peticularly odd in that she lacks the customer service skills generally required by this fine establishment. Curt/short/oblivious to customers. I know it's just a coffee joint. .. c'mon...dunkin donuts would be a better fit.
Been here a few times. Always good service. Wish they had a bit more seats for outdoors.
