My party of 4 literally just walked out of there after sitting at the bar for 25 minutes and not being acknowledged. No eye contact, no greeting, nothing. This place is so unorganized, messy and chaotic- literally feels like a backyard party... Prescott style.

I wish I could rate higher however the food was less than impressive. Hot sandwiches came out cold, buns were soggy and flavor mehhh. The atmosphere and staff are incredible just wish the food was as good!

First time here and the beer, food and atmosphere was great. Plus, the patio is dog friendly so we loved bringing our dog with us. I ordered the grilled cheese and pretzels and they were delicious. The saison was good, just a little sweeter than others I've had. I'd highly recommend this place for lunch or a snack.

STAY AWAY! This bar is the worst possible thing to happen to this neighborhood. In one year the police were called over 50 times because of nusiances like loud music, bar fights, drunks walking down the street, and other offenses. Prescott Police regularly drive by and set up stings because of the multitudes of drunks. The people who own this bar will cheat your last penny out of you. They have no respect for the neighborhood or people who live here. This bar could have been great but the owners decided they care only about scamming people out of their hard owned money than about properly operating a business.

Great service, food & beer. We will return often. It's always nice to find a new place that makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door! We love us some Hole!

Great new brew pub by two of our favorite Prescott entrepreneurs, Eric and Stephanie! Awesome beer selection and the food was great! Definite addition to our Prescott favorites when we're staying at the Hotel Vendome!

The atmosphere here is awesome and so are the brews. This place really has a welcoming vibe. I was able to take my 17 month old with me on a slow night and hang out on the patio and there was even another toddler there to play with him. I think its awesome that dogs are also welcome on the patio. I had the Stellar Saison which was really good, full of flavor. They even have bags/cornhole set up outside to play while your having a beer. They also have live music on other nights of the week. I highly recommend this new establishment, you won't be disappointed.

I would have loved to give this place 5 stars, but they had only 1 of their brews on tap, a porter, which had good flavor but not my favorite, though they did have Nimbus Brewery of Tucson's Monkeyshines on tap, which raises the ratings a notch! My husband and I are on a quest to try microbrews wherever we travel so we had to try this out. I absolutely loved the repurposed wood and metal décor throughout the property. The owner has posted the same pictures that I took, so check out his pictures for the highlights of the décor. The place was busy when we went on a Wednesday afternoon and we had to go to the bar for our order. It took quite a little while to get our beers but the atmosphere was pretty relaxing so we didn't mind. I look forward to visiting again once they have a few more months under their belt.

I really like local businesses and had to check this place out. I really liked the atmosphere. It's a nice build-out that feels comfortable and stylish. They have a big, dog-friendly patio with large trees and the inside is a pleasant place to spend some time. I liked the music, which was surprisingly similar to my death cab pandora station. Even though their own beer is still a few weeks out (they just opened last month), they had a nice selection of microbrews on tap. We had a couple paninis and the cheese and meat plate, and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. I gather they will have an expanded menu soon. We will definitely be back and I'm looking forward to tasting their own brews and the expanded menu. We will also put this on the list of places to take visitors from out of town.

Have gone 3 times now. They are a bar (with food) however, the bartenders have not been that great at serving food. I think a better system would be if they just called out your name when the order is up. You have to ask for forks, napkins, etc. You have to go to the bar for refills as the bartenders did not 'work the room' the times I was there- was not busy either. The two bartenders sort of stay busy talking to each other and not really looking around. You can stand at the bar for several minutes before you are acknowledged. I like to go to local places but I think this one is not worth it.

Well done in every aspect. Outdoor chill patio with fire pits, darts and a bocce court. The beer is amazing as is the service. Dog friendly!

Went once on a weekday. Everything was great. But on a weekend... Be warned they have limited parking in front. There was a parking area in the back that was empty. I drove in but discovered a huge ditch around the lot. My front end was damaged when the tires hit the ditch. There is no other clear street parking. Stay away if you don't see a parking space in front.

Great to have more brewpub options in town - and these guys offer good (and some very unique) beer options and a small but growing (and tasty) food menu. The outdoor seating is a great option. They now have three beers on tap (only two generally available, however) and one or two more in the next 2-3 weeks. They'd get 5 stars if the snack food options were 20% cheaper - $5 for a small (but tasty) portion of chips and salsa is too much, and $4 for a handful of mixed nuts (again quite tasty) is also too spendy. Don't get me wrong - the food is great and the lady who prepares it is friendly and seems passionate about cooking. I don't mind $9 for a panini sandwich with chips (and sometimes grapes), but I do think there should be some snack options in the $2-$4 range. I believe they have some specials throughout the week, but I'm unable to find them at the moment. Their mug club membership seems to be a great deal - if you've got a little extra money burning a hole in your pocket and/or plan to frequent them, you should seriously consider it.

Went this past weekend with a bunch of friends. We all had a good time, enjoyed a variety of beverages- beer, whiskey, sangria between the lot of us. Also the pretzel, fries and fried pickles were perfect to snack on and really tasty. Good vibe inside with lots of places to sit around and relax. We mostly sat outside in the sun, enjoyed the dart boards. Looks like they might have a bocce or horseshoe pit. We will be back for sure.

Historic The Deer Lord, Altbier. Found a gem at the Black Hole. Nice local hang and a great vibe.

Newest brew pub in Prescott, off the beaten track and well worth the trip. We have been here twice and the beer, sangria, and food are awesome. Partner tried their house IPA and loved it. The staff is knowledgable and samplers are available. Home brew supplies and classes are offered. Only open Wednesday thru Sunday for now. Nice place to relax on a Sunday. Outside smoking area available. We will be return.

Great spot while visiting Prescott. Beer is cold and plentiful and the sandwiches were all great. Had a big group and sampled them all. Highly recommended for the trip through Prescott. #CucumberBeer #SoGood

Great hidden spot in Prescott. It's not on Whiskey Row, but not far from it. I found out about this place by doing a search online and I'm glad I chose to go. Place is small, but so are the other 2 breweries nearby. I don't mind it because the guys working are on top of everything and checking in on you to make sure you're having a good time and to answer any questions. I had a flight of the Black Hole Brewing stuff and another flight of some of the regional breweries. Great brews and a good time. I will definitely visit them again next time I'm in Prescott.

Great atmosphere. Great food. Friendly service. I only give it 4 stars because my husband didn't like the food as much as I did, and they didn't have bar b que.

We used a groupon here and it was well worth it. The bar tender was very knowledgable and sweet. We sat outside which was nice. Yes very bare bones but delicious! I will totally come back!

Great hometown brewery. In addition to their own brews, they carry several different guest taps. Highly recommend trying their sangria when they have it. I've had the blood orange & ginger pear and both were refreshing.. Don't leave without trying something off their menu. The grilled cheese has chedder, smoked gouda, havarti, pancetta, romas, fresh basil on sourdough bread.

I must say that when I was desperately looking for a place to grab a late night bite and brew in the town of Prescott, I did not hold high hopes. But, after arriving with the slightest hint of trepidation at the Black Hole any and all "lowered expectations" (MadTV fans will appreciate the reference) I may have had were immediately shattered! This place is pretty unassuming, but the atmosphere, food, and beer are anything but! I walked in on a Sat night and was greeted by a packed house of locals dancing and drinking to a live band, which, as an Austinite hailing from the "Live Music Capitol of the World, I can definitely appreciate! I grabbed the literal only seat open at the bar and was given a prompt hello and beer walkthrough by Jason. He is a man of few words, but knows his beers. I ordered the flight of Black Hole beers along w/the House Roasted Beef Sandwich with a side of fries. The menu, I have to admit, threw me. It was definite gastropub fare (they have a Bahn Mi on there!) with flare, which again, I was not expecting. I think I may have been a Belgian in a previous life because ever since I was a kid I always ate my fries w/mayo instead of the American staple of ketchup (I was actually born in Tucson, not Antwerp), so I usually get the raised brow or suspicious side-eye when I ask for a side of mayo w/my fries. Such was not the case here...instead I was offered their Sriracha Aioli...my heart literally skipped a beat as I internally ::squee-ed:: in excitement and joy...at that moment I knew I was where I was meant to be! When my sandwich arrived, I was in heaven! The house roasted beef was tender; the horseradish crème fraiche added just the right amount of flavor; and the balsamic onions and aged cheddar gave it just enough savory pop to push it past the tipping point of perfection! The fries were also fantastic! They were just the right amount of crispy and the sea salt sprinkled on top paired w/the aioli gave the full flavor of the Sriracha (to the point where I asked if they were made with a hint of garlic) without the overbearing heat. BTW, this sandwich paired magically with their 6am Licorice Stout. But, food and beers can only get you so far. What made this a 5-star experience was the confluence of friendly locals (I was a woman by myself in an unfamiliar town at 11pm on a Sat. night and felt at home the minute I walked through the door), engaging staff, and the icing on the cake was getting to meet Chef Harley and the proprietors. Putting faces behind concepts will get my loyalty every time! I was almost disappointed I had to leave at the end of the night and even more disappointed when my visit to Prescott was cut short as I had planned to pay a couple of more visits during my stay to give the menu a more thorough taste-bud inspection and approval. Alas, I will have to wait to pay proper hommage to my official fav spot in Prescott (pronounced Press-cuit if you want to avoid chiding by the locals) until my next visit to AZ. But, thank you Black Hole for putting me and my assumptions in their place and giving me a wonderfully memorable evening!

Live music, great sandwiches, awesome beers, and a good staff. There's a fire pit in the exceptionally large back patio. Parking is a little difficult at times.

Had no idea this place existed. We were on an AZ brewery tour and just finished mountain biking. Needed some awesome beer and food and googled 'nearby breweries' and found this gem. So impressed. I had a saison that was fantastic. We shared a caprese salad and a Vietnamese style sandwich. Went really well with the beer. The only thing I thought could change was the growler pricing. $12 for the bottle and $20 for the fill. Coming from Tucson I'm used to the bottles being $4-5. $32 for a growler is pretty high. Besides that the vibes were great. Sat outside on the dog friendly patio which was convenient because we had two dogs. Awesome spot.

Had the roasted beef sandwich, a great drink, awesome service, and good tunes provided by Anton & Drew. Fries are double-fried... crispy and just the right amount of salt. The beef literally melted in my mouth. Horseradish crème fraîche had a bit more of a bite than I liked (personal preference), but others at the table enjoyed it (as a dipping sauce for the fries!) Perfect little place with a chill vibe. Yes, you do go to the counter for service, just like The Raven, but I don't have a problem with this. They bring you your food, and we were checked on multiple times by the chef and bartender. Definitely will be back. Multiple beers on tap, small but excellent liquor selection.

Pulling up to Black Hole Brewing Company I was a little apprehensive, but once I stepped inside all reservations went away! This is a new brewpub that offers their own beers and features a rotating beer menu. They always have new things on tap which is fun, for people who love trying good beer! When you go you have to check out the beer garden-it's great! You can even bring your dog with when you are enjoying a tasty pint. They also have a bocce ball court and fire pits there too! We've only had the french fries-but they were delicious, excited to try more menu items! Can't wait to go back! The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because I want to see more than of their beers on tap (that's because they are sooo good)! This is a place that I will frequent regularly along with my four-legged companion! I forgot to mention how great the service was-everybody was extremely nice!

Out-of-towners looking for local beer... A Thursday night, a live all-woman band, packed crowd inside, pleasant dog-friendly patio complete with fire pit, bocce court and lights under the tall cottonwoods. Across the street from a trailer park in an unassuming part of town. We felt comfortable and at home with the friendly crowd. We came for beer and food and were not disappointed. We tried the Black Hole Brews (yummy CoffeeSlam dark ale and a very good Stardust Pale Ale). We also enjoyed the Vietnamese Style Banh Mi Sandwich which was excellent (kudos to the chef). In addition to the house and guest beers, Black Hole features a full bar. We'll be back!

The Cuban Sandwich and house made craft beer was really good, and I would eat there again.

We took a day trip out of the city and heard about this hidden gem that was very welcoming to our pup Nixon! What a great surprise! All the staff was very welcoming and the food was amazing. Limited items on their menu but why add anything more when everything is perfect. We tried the grilled cheese and the hot turkey sandwich..yum! Great job Chef! We'll be back for sure..especially with summer upon us is Tempe.

Ecclectic, original, relaxed and fun. Black Hole is one of our favorite spots in town. The location means avoiding the tourist mobs, the personality is sophisticated but completely down to earth, and the selection is excellent in all ways. Great beer, locally distilled whisky selections, and incredible, high-culinary creations for appetizers and entrees make this the perfect place to try something new. A beautiful, dog-friendly outdoor space, complete with games, flowers, herbs, hop vines and a giant cottonwood tree make this place the perfect sunny-day hang out. We've always had attentive, fast, and friendly service, and are always looking forward to our next visit! If you're looking to explore an excellent microbrewery, definitely pay a visit to Black Hole!

Love this place. I'm from out of town and stopping here was only a coincidence. Food was great, had the BahnMi sandwich (really great) and the homemade pretzels. Although I could give them one less star because they didn't give you enough bacon jelly with the pretzels to enjoy, it was very good. Most of the beers are local except the current IPA selection is from SoCal. Anyway the whiskey menu is good too, people are great, can't beat the atmosphere (my dog loved the backyard). 5 stars, so I will come back.

Hub and I had the beer flights and they were good. Service and ambiance both fine. We didn't have any of the food, so can't comment on that. It is a little off the beaten track, so don't know if that is good or bad. I liked the logo so we both got t-shirts to commemorate our anniversary night out and the tab suggested % of tips. I find this practice silly and I would not tip on $36 worth of merchandise.

Place smelled of cabbage and everything seemed disorganized. Waiting in line for beer is not fun. Then there is only one or two since they ran out of the better beer. Seems like CA is taking over our town. Womens John has two toilets...but only one with a door! Other is wide open near sink. STRANGE.

Love this place, cool atmosphere, great beer and exciting food! A cool place especially compared to the same old Prescott fare we often run into. Definitely worth a trip.

Great live band called "Hey Bucko!" playing when we came here on a Sunday night. They had 8 items on the food menu but they were out of two of the items. I got the cheese plate but it wasn't that good. The toast points that came with it looked like they were put on a flat grill so my toast had black grill gunk on it. Sangria was very good. I would come here again but only to drink not eat.

Ridiculously good food, great beer, and even better atmosphere. Feels like your stepping out of prescott.
