Humberto's is once again one of the best Mexican food restaurants in town... Everything is back to normal, I can once again get my carne asada fix at humburtos. Good food, large portions and reasonably priced. Very quick service

I just started working nearby, and have eaten here twice now in the past few days. Had a veggie burrito and rolled tacos & rice, and both were delicious! The burrito was HUGE...could not finish it. And I always get extra cheese on my burritos, but if you're like me you know they don't always put enough "extra"...Humberto's put EXTRA! I will definitely be knowing these people on a first name basis and eating here often!!! :)

I ate here last fall upon recommendation from some locals. I was excited to eat here again, because the carne Asada taco was awesome. But this time, the place smelled so bad of rotting meat, I turned around and walked out the door. Bummed, and hungry.

Glad to see the truth getting out. I have been eating here for 4 years but no more. The burritos have gone from 4.35 to 6 bucks, have shrunk considerably and the last 2 were cold. BYE BYE

Very good burritos, tortes and chili rellenos. The one thing that I do NOT recomend here is the menudo. Have tried it twice and the first time, it had a knucklebone about the size of my fist. The second time it had been streched out by adding enchilada sauce, and the taste was not very good. We eat here quite often and do like much that they serve.

Couldn't make it to southern California to satisfy my carne asada burrito craving. Next best thing is this place. I did a search in the area for Mexican taco shops and this thing located next to a supermarket. The shop was some small hole in the wall place. Nothing fancy but the food was just perfect. I had the taste of the torta & ordered the carne asada burrito for myself. Both great and tasty. Piping hot and everything I expected to be. Good price too for what I paid for. They didn't have much of a salsa bar selection, with only three different flavors of salsa (chile sauce). Reminded me of traffic light (red, yellow, and green). I tried all three and it was satisfactory. They had jalapeno and carrots but wish they had rashes in the bar. I would definitaly come again.

Exactly what a taco shop should be. Fresh, colorful, flavorful dishes prepared well and quickly. Whether you're looking to dine in or grab a meal to go, the menu selection will definitely accomodate your tastes. Whenever I am in the Kingman area, this is my only stop for Mexican Cuisine. You cannot find better in the area, I promise!

We got tacos here and they were simply awful. The staff was very rude and the food was not good at all.

We stopped in here for dinner just on gut instinct. So glad we did! My gut was right and was very satisfied. We asked a few locals in front of us for their recommendations and they suggested the carne asada plate or the chimichanga plate. I went with the carne asada. Ka-bang Pow! Flavor fiesta! It was a generous portion of meat, lettuce, guacamole, rice, beans, and a tortilla the size of a steering wheel. My husband got the super nachos topped with carne asada, beans, cheese, guacamole, and sour cream. They were great. Our friend got the beef taco plate. These tacos were deep fried and served with rice and beans. The offered three sauces - a spicy red, a somewhat spicy green, and a mild orange-ish colored sauce. All with great flavor. This is the kind of place local Mexicans eat at. It's in a strip mall and has seen better days but it was clean and the staff was friendly. Try it. You won't be disappointed!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
