Yes, there are LOTS of other great places around Flag to get great coffee but this place is a nice refuge for those who have those Starbucks Rewards Cards that have become a part of the family that they cherish and use everyday. Good staff which is really all that differentiates the different stores nowadays.

Slow, slow slow, slow..... And they don't l listen. "I'll have a Grande decaf black". 'Can I get a name?" "It's Rich". "OK thanks" Do you want room for cream? " No I still want black please ". " And a name?" No wonder it takes so like to get your coffee. :-/ Don't be in a hurry if you come here.

The reviews with this Starbucks do it NO justice. All the people below, don't be bitter about having a starbucks in your city of many indy-coffee shops. This location is well enough away from all of the other mom and pop shops that you have to make a special stop for *$s. Lobby is small but comfortable. Staff is very friendly and the drinks are the typical starbucks standards.

Always a nice stop for me anytime, anywhere.

I ordered a Cinnamon Dolce Latte at this location this morning. There was NOT a drop of syrup in it. Not a good experience. Expensive way to learn to always taste the drink before you leave the store.

Start off by saying the service is awesome, very friendly, they treat you like family. The drinks are made perfect every time. We go in with big orders and they take care of it with no problems. I just want to say thank you to all the employees there

We live in SoCal and were at Flagstaff on March 9 2012. We stopped here when my 3 year old needed to use the restroom in the evening. The girls working here were super nice. I ordered a chai latte and they refused to take any payment because they realized I was primarily there to use their restroom. The latte was good and their service the best! God bless you. Hard to find such attitude in SoCal.

Friendly staff, clean place. It's a Starbucks. I get the Americano, and it's consistent, which is what I look for in a coffee house. It always tastes the same.

Love Starbucks coffee, but we are very limited in Flagstaff and disappointed in this one. On most visits to this Starbucks, the pastries are nearly empty, with only a few sad looking selections left. The employees always have the same answer- "Sorry. We got slammed". Here's an idea: Order more. Other concerns: the tables appear to never get wiped down, as there are lots of crumbs, coffee drips on them; front door always has tons of finger prints- looks like its frosted glass; every trash can is overflowing and trash on floor; some employees dont dress professionally, in tee shirts or tank tops. The Starbucks on Milton Rd is much, much better in every respect, and is what I expect when I go into a Starbucks. An terrific alternative is the Barns & Noble, who has Starbucks coffee, a huge selection of pastries and is clean.

Stopped by on the way to Page, AZ a bathroom break and a caffeine boost. Service was quick and there weren't any lines for the bathroom.

Usually the service is better here but the past 6-7 times it has been horrible. It's like they are moving in slow motion. The old crew that used to be here understood the premises of speed. The new crew here has no clue about it. The slowest person is Cori. Whoa. Slow motion is an understatement

Rock solid Starbucks if you need it. It's the same everywhere, but sometimes that's a good thing. Staff was friendly and the place was clean.

I have been ordering a triple venti skim, 2 pump white mocha for years. Today, while we were stranded in Flagstaff due to car trouble, we strolled over to this Starbucks and I ordered my usually. There was one HUGE difference; the man behind me started asking me why I ordered it with only two pumps of chocolate. I responded (calories and sweetness) and then the barista said, you should be ordering the latte, it will be a $1 cheaper. I said, 'really?' and she said yes, they shouldn't be charging you for 8 pumps of chocolate when you are only getting two, and latte's always come with two pumps of chocolate...so technically you have been ordering a latte for all these years; and subsequently I been over paying for my already ridiculously high priced coffee.

Starbucks is the best. They have the best coffee and friendly staff.

My stop here was on the last leg of a long trip...it was a welcome bit of familiarity. The experience was your typical Starbucks experience. Having been to one about 6 times a couple days before, this one didn't stand out too much, except for the fact that they were more awesome about my refillable cup than the others had been. The cup looks big, but only holds a smalls worth at best, they totally didn't give me any grief and charged for the small automatically. Awesome!

This is my first time reviewing a chain so I'll start off by saying that my rating for this Starbucks location is low NOT because I dislike Starbucks as a company or because I've been to better coffee shops in Flagstaff, but instead because I saw an employee mistreating a customer and I feel very strongly that she should be called out on it. A woman in her late fifties walked in a the same time as me, I held the door and she thanked me. Because I didn't know what I wanted yet, I insisted she go ahead of me. She needs a minute herself but takes me up on the offer. She starts to order, tentatively, and has a few questions for our twenty-something redheaded barista, who won't make eye contact. With everything question our barista had a short answer, using words like "yup" and "nope" each word packed with a bit more attitude than the last. She doesn't make a single helpful suggestion for the customer, who is clearly unfamiliar with Starbucks, and instead lets out a few impatient sighs. When the woman finishes her order, she fails to mention what size drink she wants and that's when the employee goes into what I consider to be full-on bitch mode in the service industry. She says "What size is that gonna be?" Customer says "What do you mean?" and the barista picks up an empty cup, taps it, and starts speaking slowly, obviously talking to her as if she's thinks she's an idiot "WHAT siiiiize? Like, what size drink? There are different sizes." Customer says "Oh, medium I guess. I shouldn't have too much caffeine. The barista chimes in with an especially snooty "OK, GRANDE." And proceeds to ring her up. Customer says thanks and receives a shockingly cold "Yup" as she slams closed the register, and proceeds to say "Next.". That shouldn't have surprised me but did, nonetheless. I'm up next, receive service I'd expect from a middle school girl, and still decide to tip. Even if the customer is lacking intelligence, a pain in the ass (which she wasn't, by my standards), and holds up the line for several minutes with questions, it is NEVER okay to treat him/her in such a manner that hurts their feelings and leaves them thinking they've done something wrong. She's paying five bucks for a cup of coffee and you're seriously going to speak to her as if she keyed your car? It's possible our barista was just having an off day but I doubt she's more than just a stuck-up brat that doesn't care enough to provide fair service to customers. I manage a restaurant and if she spoke to my customers that way, I'd feel awfully tempted to let her go (and I don't throw those words around lightly). If I may be so bold, I'd strongly suggest she get out of the service industry ASAP. Perhaps she could find a job position where it's actually her job to make people feel like criminals.

I agree the beans are definitely over roasted, but seing as this is the only Starbucks in Flagstaff it will have to do! I know coffee snobs etc think starbucks is beneath the local offerings, but i know that no matter what state i am in, i will get the same drink every single time. This place has very friendly staff, multiple food choices and the Starbucks feel!

Went here as I was leaving flagstaff for Northern California. Was leaving late at night and got to this location just minutes before closing. The girls working we're super nice and got me everything I needed without attitude. Great place!

Why? With so many locally owned places (at least two of which roast their own beans) why go to Starbucks? They're not more convenient than Wicked AZ Coffee, which has two locations, each with two drive-thru windows, they're not more centrally located than Late for the Train which has a downtown location, a hospital location, one on the way into/out of town headed South, and one on the way out of town to the Grand Canyon. And they certainly don't have the variety of food and drink offered by Macy's European Coffee House and Bakery. So why go to Starbucks? Well, they're open later than 10pm on some nights. That's about it.

I was thankful for finding a Starbucks on our road trip. I went all day without coffee and when found this Starbucks I was happy and then I got my drink perfectly made for me and the server was so nice and pleasant. Thank you for being so funny and great.

All Starbucks suck. They all do. Poorly roasted beans. Starbucks is for non-coffee drinkers, that want to pretend they drink coffee, instead drinking fat and sugar laden coffeesque crap. Go to Macy's or Late instead.
