Whoa, what a surprise in Clarkdale ! Awesome good food. The hubbie and I went for lunch. We had portabella sandwich, hamburger, side salad & blue cheese bacon fries. Everything was great. The mayo on the portabella made it messy, but good! Never heard of Blue Cheese Bacon fries, we just had to try them. I would order them again, but watch out if you don't like bacon. The fries are packed full of bacon bits. I would come back from Phoenix to eat here again.

Two visits in two weeks.....I guess I'm a regular. I LOVE this place! We have ordered something different each time, and it is great every time. The turkey sandwich had turkey, that they roasted themselves!! Unheard of, around these parts. The owner is a cool guy also, he comes out and talks to you!! You must try this place, unless you like processed, canned foods, then this place is not for you.

Yum! We live in the Village of Oak Creek and still go to Main Street Cafe on a regular basis (about a 25 mile trip, one way). I'm currently hooked on the buffalo wings - watch out for Scott's "Fire" flavored wings; habanero-spiced & meant for the serious fire-lover! The teriyaki-jalapeno steak is to die-for and the margarita pizza is fantastic. Big, tasty burgers, too. Oooh, and I almost forgot the spinach-artichoke dip! Awesome! They have changing desserts, depending on what's fresh, and always serve Breyer's Ice Cream. Ally is a doll and Scott's culinary genius is what makes it worth coming back to this hidden gem again and again! They are recently advertising that they're open 7 days a week now but if you're running late, make sure you call to see if the kitchen is still open (after 8pm it's pizza only).

Soup was amazing. A terrific place to eat lunch before getting in the train.

Great location and great food ! Period. If you want the best pizza in the verde valley then you need to be here! Try the baja chicken pasta and hang out in the lounge at back of this place.

Hands down best pizza in the area.....SO good. It's a great place to come in for lunch on a weekend. I also love their cesar salad which, instead of croutons has these little baked pieces of bread with cheese-a nice spin. Their Caprese burger, made with wine, is also delicious but it is HUGE. Beyond this their menu also has other great sandwiches, steaks pasta dishes and some very tempting specials. The staff are friendly and the walls are covered with local art for sale. Right next door is the 10-12 Lounge, one of my favorite bars in The Verde Valley . So if you're feeling thirsty after a good meal all you have to do is walk next door!

Great food - and close to home. New to area, decided to try, glad we did. Ordered the salmon, terrific - and fish and chips, also delicious. The side dishes - veggies, potato salad, etc, were top-notch. You can tell some thought and care goes into the preparation, not just "out of a can" Will have to try their pizza - if its as good as their regular menu items, it must be good!

It was really a mixed review at our table. The calamari wasn't crispy and was rubbery...very disappointed. Our friends had soup & salad, and loved it.

Bacon lovers, rejoice! If you've ever watched a Wendy's commercial and when they say "two slices of applewood smoked bacon on top..." you immediately think to yourself "Only two?!", this is the place for you. Main Street Cafe's bacon and bleu cheese burger is probably one of the best bacon-centric burgers I've ever had. Although it could have used more bleu cheese, there was no need to wish for more bacon. This thing was overflowing with bacon. I think they used half a package, and I don't think I'm overestimating that at all. It's not thick cut or special smoked, but just a boat-load of tasty bacon on top of your meat patty. Oh, and the burger was very tasty. It was pretty darn close to my medium-rare request and was nice and juicy. The bun wasn't anything special, but it did its job. The steak fries that came with were quite delicious as well. The rest of the menu is rather expansive, but it would be hard pressed for me to get past this burger. The interior is no frills, diner like. Service was exceptional: attentive, friendly, and accommodating. Note that the grill shuts down at 8pm, after which only pizzas are available. So, yeah...just get there before 8.

Love this place. Food is always great and very good service. Great variety on the menu. Best chicken parm I've ever had and the wings are really good. Haven't found anything on the menu I didn't love. Highly recommend!

We were going out to Clarkdale and wanted to eat local, so we tried this place based on other Yelp reviews. We were not disappointed! My husband and I both had burgers, and they were tasty, fresh, piping hot, and all-around great! The fries were really yummy, too -- crisp and flavorful, not greasy at all. This is a great little gem of a restaurant.

Since reading the reviews for this restaurant I decided to try it for myself. After the Verde Canyon RR I stopped here this evening. I had it narrowed down to four of the different burgers and finally decided to try the Bleu Cheese burger. I ordered it med well which I believe is just a slight pink interior and well down on the outside. It was grilled to perfection. I chose the potato salad for my side. I would have tried the cole slaw but I do not like creamy dressings that have vinegar in them. The potato salad was quite good. Almost as good as what I make. I knew I would not be able to eat a whole burger so when I ordered it as asked to split it and I would take one half of it home. I also could not eat all the potato salad. I was looking forward to a late night snack or a lunch tomorrow. Now, for the bad news. I left my doggy box there at the counter. :( I gave this restaurant 4 stars instead of 5 since the bacon could have been a bit more crisper for my taste. There were some spots where the bacon seemed to not have been completely cooked.

What else can I say but the best burgers we have ever eaten! We had the mushroom burger and the special of the day, a double cheese burger. Fanfreakingtastic sandwiches! The mushroom was served on a tender egg bun that totally wrapped it all together. Fries that were served too hot to eat! And a great staff. Loved the art work that were for sale displayed on the walls as well. Had a nice chat with the owner and would go back again at the drop of a hat! Highly recommend this place as exactly what we were looking for as a dinning experience! Kudos X 10!

We could see at our first visit here, on a Friday night, that this place is a local hotspot, where everyone knew each other. That was nice to see. We decided to try the calamari and a pizza. The calamari was a little tough, and though the coating was light and crispy, it was bland. It came with two sauces, tarter (good flavor) and marinara. We think a chipotle ranch would be yummy... Now the pizza, which looked great, was the mediterranean with italian sausage added and was loaded with yummy toppings. We felt that the kalamata olives were very strong...salty and bitter...maybe they need a good rinsing...and the crust was disappointing. We like a thin crust, but this had no flavor and well, just kind of held the toppings without enhancing the flavor. The servers were very attentive and kept our drinks full. Next time we eat here we will try the burgers or sandwiches, which sound really good.

Eh. I really want to love this place. It's got a great vibe with live music and decor from local artists. I had a crazy huge antipasto salad that I can definitely recommend. The chicken noodle soup was packed with chicken, but it was super dry which is weird since it's floating in broth. My husband got their award winning ribs, which were delicious, but still a little cold on the bottom. They were definitely reheated which we KNOW is pretty standard practice but is still a little off putting. I'd like to go back and give them another chance next time I'm in town- I think there's something to this place, just haven't found it yet.
