Whoa, what a surprise in Clarkdale ! Awesome good food. The hubbie and I went for lunch. We had portabella sandwich, hamburger, side salad & blue cheese bacon fries. Everything was great. The mayo on the portabella made it messy, but good! Never heard of Blue Cheese Bacon fries, we just had to try them. I would order them again, but watch out if you don't like bacon. The fries are packed full of bacon bits. I would come back from Phoenix to eat here again.
Two visits in two weeks.....I guess I'm a regular. I LOVE this place! We have ordered something different each time, and it is great every time. The turkey sandwich had turkey, that they roasted themselves!! Unheard of, around these parts. The owner is a cool guy also, he comes out and talks to you!! You must try this place, unless you like processed, canned foods, then this place is not for you.
Yum! We live in the Village of Oak Creek and still go to Main Street Cafe on a regular basis (about a 25 mile trip, one way). I'm currently hooked on the buffalo wings - watch out for Scott's "Fire" flavored wings; habanero-spiced & meant for the serious fire-lover! The teriyaki-jalapeno steak is to die-for and the margarita pizza is fantastic. Big, tasty burgers, too. Oooh, and I almost forgot the spinach-artichoke dip! Awesome! They have changing desserts, depending on what's fresh, and always serve Breyer's Ice Cream. Ally is a doll and Scott's culinary genius is what makes it worth coming back to this hidden gem again and again! They are recently advertising that they're open 7 days a week now but if you're running late, make sure you call to see if the kitchen is still open (after 8pm it's pizza only).

We ate here in mid-January 2010. This restaurant is not particularly appealing from the outside, but the interior is inviting, tastefully decorated, cozy, cheerful. In addition to typical Mexican combination items and a wide variety of enchilada selections, a number of tasty-sounding meat items were listed on their very appealing menu. Trip Advisor and Google abound with postive reviews for Su Casa, and we met people at Su Casa who said it's their favorite restaurant; the few other diners there when we went mid-afternoon seemed to be enjoying their food. However, for us it was the worst or second-worst restaurant meal we'd had in our 55+ years on this earth. They replaced my way-over-salty chile relleno with a so-so taco. The rice and beans tasted awful, and my taquito was somewhat burned. We couldn't detect any alcohol in our margaritas. The chips and salsa were good, but we were not offered a refill (but then, we didn't ask, either) I hope we just hit on a bad day somehow, because it seemed that the owners/staff really wanted to please and create a pleasant dining experience. The pleasant environment would offer a good alternative for overpriced restaurants in the area.
MMMMmmmm!! Most importantly, the margaritas had tequila, that I could actually taste!! Maybe it was the two drinks, but I found the food tasty!! The salsa is plain and boring, probably cuz they have a large 65+ crowd in the area. I ordered the 3 shrimp mole tacos. No complaints. The portions are small, but I don't eat that much anymore, so they were fine for me. I'll be back!!
Delicious pork chimichanga (you could just smell the smoke from being slow cooked), and a great salsa bar. Friendly wait staff. Overall really liked the food and atmosphere.
