Pretty good for a Chinese buffet. Typical items, but pretty expansive selection including crab legs and "sushi". Perfectly adequate for the price. Desserts were disappointing but not important to me.

Great quality, food always hot, clean, a bit over priced, service is stiff and unfriendly, counter girl might as well be a bending machine. Must be owners daughter. Rude. So is the short blind who must do the deliveries. On the other hand, I do keep going back for the food quality and some of the friendly wait staff. Just Dr crappy cashier and blind hostess. I go to Red Dragon too. Every employee treats you like they appreciate you being there, want you to come back, and clear your dishes. Good is very good, not as great as Golden, but costs less. I go to Red not for the better price, but for the service.

Went to the Golden Shower Dragon for lunch with the family on the way home from Branson MO, we fought on the way about which one of the many Chinese restaurants we were going to eat at and am I glad we did. When we arrived parking was crowded but not terrible, we went in and were not immediately seated but didn't wait too long! After being seated I ordered unsweet ice tea which was pretty good! Went to the buffet hit fried rice, generals chicken, an egg roll, spring roll, what they called cheese wontons, and some mushrooms oh and some freaking delicious dumplings!!!! Only really weird part of this restaurant is that the bowls And plates were under the buffet with neon light on them it was cra!!!! Didn't really go for seconds but had a little sushi it was tasty but just your run of the mill buffet sushi!!!! Then for desert we had some ice cream watch you head though cause my asshat friend Sean kept hitting his on the lamp above the table, but hey it was good for a few laughs like 4x lol but overall it was pretty good buffet so... If near the Shower stop in!!! Yummy yummy

Had the teriyaki chicken, boneless spare ribs and white rice. The terajaki chicken reminds me of home because is the only place they served it on a stick, just like Spanish pinchos, rice was awesome like really, can they make bad white rice ever? LoL that's there #1 item LoL, the boneless spare ribs were too sweet for me, a bit of weird taste as well but they were delicious indeed, price a bit on the high side but very good food, 90% Jose Approved!

First of all, I have never been to China so I have no idea what authentic Chinese food should taste like. Apparently lots of people have been to China. Anyway, the rat-on-a-stick was good. The squeaky beans were good. The spring rolls were good. The food was fresh and tasty, whatever it was. If it was Chinese or not, I enjoyed it.

Unlimited quality sushi rolls... awesome Other foods are a bit oily. Crawfish was a bit bland. Rice was a little on the dry side. Chicken Yakitori was very tasty. Soups were very good. Dessert bar could use a little more variety.

Great Options. Everything has flavor. This is probably the best Americanized Chinese food in NWA. Staff seems a little more friendly than your average Chinese buffet.

Pretty good buffet. We came at 9PM, thinking that it was too late for crab legs. But, my dad expressed his frustration and about 15 min later, BAM! Crab legs for us. Haha! Selection was nice, especially the frog legs, crab legs, and the variety of sushi! Wish the server would have refilled my drink more, but I guess it's fine. Overall, I would come back again.

The place was not as bad as I thought. I didn't really know what to expect since this was my first time here in springdale. My son wanted to eat something that he gave a lot of options of course buffet was the only thing I can think of. There were a decent amount of variety from seasame chicken, general chicken, to fried shrimp, sweet n sour chicken. They had sushi which as okay nothing spectacular about it. Your common rolls Philadelphia, California, etc. the hiabachi was okay. I had the crawfish there and it was not tobad for a buffet. But of course I live in Houston where Cajun restaurants are popping up like crazy. Service was good and speedy. The place looked clean and they seemed to be attentive to making sure the food was stocked up.

Would have given it 3 stars after the first time...2 stars after the 2nd and a borderline 1-2 after my most recent...seems that the food has done downhill a little bit and some of the items are of a little questionable quality. However, it's very clean inside and looks relatively nice when compared to other Chinese buffets, so a 2-star it is.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city.
