Have been trying to find sushi that rivals my favorite places in Dallas and OKC. Blue Fin is it. Delicious sushi... the Godzilla Rolls are one of my new favorites. Pricing is fair for the quality. We received excellent service. I loved the ambiance of the place after dark. The California rolls, fried calamari, chicken fried rice and shrimp fried noodles were fresh and tasty. I also enjoyed reading the various handwritten info on the artistic fish arranged around the place. Don't be deterred by the location. It is in between a sandwich shop and check cashing place (?). I'll definately be going back soon!

This place is under new management and boy what a difference. It is much cleaner and the food is so much fresher and the taste is so much better than ever before. I had the salmon salad and everything was so fresh. My husband had the sushi and it also was very fresh and perfectly made and the presentation of the food was beautiful.

The greatest sushi of all time. Truly the best x 67. All the roles are straight . Sashimi is fresher than a pimped out caddy on 24's. Beer and saki are great. It's hard to beat sushi this good for the price. #1 in the dale.

First time at Blu Fin and I rarely try new places for Sushi. We all had a lil different variations of rolls on there 3 roll lunch special. Honestly probably would have been cheaper for the table to just order the bigger rolls and share. But it was pretty good, decent service, and great atmosphere. If I'm in Springdale and just have to have sushi I would visit again.

I think this place has a great atmosphere and I want to rate it higher, but there are still some things they need to improve on before I can up my rating. I give the chicken Bento lunchbox five stars ($7.95 and you get chicken, fried rice, salad, 2 pieces of California roll, a tempura shrimp, three pieces of tempura vegetables, and a half of an orange). You could also choose Miso soup over the salad and the fried rice is just one of the options as your side dish choice. The place seems very clean and food appears fresh - I will keep going back going back and hope to help them improve because this is a good addition to Springdale and I hope they'll be successful.

I little over priced for the quality. Atmosphere is the restaurant is relaxing and soothing. The sushi was around par nothing amazing stood out and the rice was not as good as other locations. But for Springdale it's not bad at all and a great place to grab some food to go while at work. They also have a nice looking bar and shows potential for a dinner spot

The atmosphere is really cool, especially for springdale. Its truly blue inside and is very calming. Food is fair, never have had anything spectacular or anything bad. Customer service is lackluster. When I walk in the door no one ever makes eye contact with me for a long long time, and then someone eventually says sit wherever you want. Likewise when you walk out no one ever thanks you or acts like they really care that you dined there. If you are looking for sush in northwest arkansas go to sushi house in bentonville. Super friendly, they give you all kinds of free samplers and its delicious. The atmosphere there doesnt compare to blue fin, but the people more than overcome that.

I was very disappointed with Blue Fin. Firstly, the location is in a busy area but the windows are all covered up and if I hadn't gone to Jimmy John's next door, I would have never noticed it. It looked like a closed-down-out-of-business office. Walking in, I was very excited because the atmosphere was superb! It was blue and cool and very relaxing...takes you right out of Northwest Arkansas and straight to the coast. HOWEVER, once we recieved the menus, it was downhill from there. I ordered a lunch bento bos which came with miso soup and a house salad. The bento had tempura veggies, phili-roll, rice and grilled salmon. The MISO was watered down and had a funny aftertaste. The SALAD dressing was tangy and lacked flavor. I requested a different dressing and unfortunately, they had no other dressing. The TEMPURA VEGGIES consisted of THREE pieces. The SUSHI that came with the box consisted of only TWO pieces!!! The rice was dry. Although I spent only $12 I will never go there again nor would I ever reccommend anyone to go there for sushi. If you're looking for good sushi in NWA area, I recommend Sushi King in Bentonville.

I enjoyed the sushi here. Have had sushi in many cities across the U.S., including Los Angeles, and San Francisco. I have had better, but I've had worse too. I travel to the area occasionally on business, and was skeptical about going in and eating sushi here, mainly because I was in Arkansas. Actually, I am glad I did stop in. I make this a usual stop now when I am in town. I am normally by myself, and grab a seat at the sushi bar. Staff has always been great, food was great, and an ambiance that makes you feel like you might be in Los Angeles (just not as many people eating there!)

Overpriced, mediocre. I'll preface this by saying I'm a total sushi snob, but the sushi situation in NWA is not nearly as dire as I thought it might be when moving here. We tried Blue Fin this weekend and sadly it is pretty much the sushi I expected out of Arkansas. We got Sake, Hamachi and Maguro nigiri and it was okay - not great- and had way too much overcooked rice with it. My husband described it as good texture, but bland, while I thought the Hamachi had kind of a fishy taste (and not the good kind). Also, I like miso soup and a house salad with my sushi, and if you get the lunch special they come free, but if you come for dinner, as we did, you will pay an extra SEVEN DOLLARS AND TWENTY FIVE CENTS for it. Come on, its a tiny cup of miso paste and water, and lettuce with some ginger dressing, really? This is Springdale, your rent's not that high. Also, I dont mind paying $12-15 for a roll if its got some good slabs of fish draped over it, but the $12 Blue Fin roll was imitation crab rolled up in (again, overly sticky) rice, with a slice of tuna about the width and thickness of a stick of chewing gum on top. It was long, there was a lot of food, but you're mostly paying for lots of rice and imitation crab meat. In the future, I'll pass and drive the extra mileage to Bentonville or Fayetteville to get sushi. It's too expensive and good sushi is too good to bother with the mediocre stuff.

Despite only four tables being occupied (most of which were already eating) it took 45 minutes from the time we ordered until the time our 2 simple sushi rolls arrived. The rolls tasted fine - nothing special but definitely not worth the time or money.
