Sushi House Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

As far as sushi goes, this place is OK. Meiji in Fayetteville is the benchmark for the area and if you haven't been there you need to try it. (Sorry, I've yet to review it) Sushi house is a Korean owned Japanese restaurant. The free stuff you get in the beginning of your meal is reminiscent of the "ban chan" you get at a full service Korean restaurant. I'm not sure what is yelled at you when you enter the restaurant and when you leave but it feels like they are just making different noises for hello and goodbye. It provides a feeling that you might be walking into a dive in Tokyo but I don't particularly care for the yelling. Ordering sushi results in your order arriving just as the waitress leaves your table with your order and the servers running around get me feeling a little stressed but if you want fast sushi, I don't think there's any faster place anywhere. The sushi comes out so fast that anything you order from the kitchen won't come out until AFTER the sushi eaters are done and ready to leave. I suspect this would detract from the quality of the sushi since they don't take the time to make the presentation what proper sushi should be.... alas if you want raw fish without the high falootin fancy stuff this is the place. I find that the Bento box is the best deal for a full belly with generous veggies, soup and a few pieces of Gyoza to go with 2 or 3 of your choice of proteins like chicken, beef or salmon teriyaki Quality of the food is pretty good but you shouldn't watch "Jiro dreams of sushi" before coming to eat here because it's not THAT good. What I've described may not sound like a 4 star review (it's more a 3.5), but the food really is pretty OK and it's a sushi staple when we can't afford to go to Meiji (which will be 4.5 - 5 stars when I get around to reviewing it)

Hands down best sushi I have had in a long time!!! When you sit down they bring you samples and several items on the house. Once you order no matter how page it takes all of 2 min to get your food, AND more stuff on the house!!!!!!!! This is a must try

Unbelievably good sushi in the middle of nowhere with super friendly service and free food samples.

Incredible sushi! They give you so many freebies from the second you sit down. Start the table off with sushi sample, edamame, a cup of soup, an appetizer cooked at your table, you order your sushi... And it comes out in literally under a minute, after that you get a fruit tray for desert. Great service and great food! Extremely impressed. 6 stars.

4.5????? 4.5??? yeah right maybe if u dont know what fish takes like, edamame cold!!!! wdf and didnt even had salt, worst sushi ever, i ask for a salmon skin handroll, they pretty much gave me salmon burrito!!! wdhell a hand roll is a hand roll please give more effort in making ur food. the free food they gave as samples it has more sauce than anhthing just to hide the fack that there is no flavor. please stop giving this place 5 stars , or maybe im just to picky about my fish, either way will never go back there, not even to take a piss

We walk in and they yell at you lol just like the places in Cali do. It's cute. As soon as you sit down they bring you edamame and a sample of one of their rolls. YUMMY. SAMS roll delicious jalapeño volcano razorback roll ALL GOOD CHOICES. We weren't expecting to get miso or ANOTHER free sample I forget what they called it maybe volcano ? Anyways ALL delicious so stuffed. Services was face and we never had low glasses or an empty plate sit at our table for to long! As soon as we were done with one plate a min at most it was politely picked up. They boxed up our leftovers and I mean come on we were stuffed and they gave us pineapple and orange pieces. I love this place. DEF coming back. LOVED THE SERVICE ATMOSPHERE FOOD EVERYTHING WAS MUCH NEEDED AND LIKED!

Amazing sushi. We drove from Springfield Mo on a recommendation & we were not disappointed. Friend staff greets you & they give you samples .... Best sushi & staff quick to answer any questions & make suggestions. very kid friendly We definitively will road trip for sushi again

Sorry, Bentonville, but NO. This is the sushi world's equivalent of McDonald's. So if you're looking for fast food, go ahead. In a town that exists solely to serve the employees of Wal-mart's corporate world, it's no surprise that this is considered good sushi. The quality and authenticity necessary for a sushi restaurant just aren't there.

This is my favorite sushi place I've ever been to. The service is amazing... everyone is super friendly and extremely fast. When you walk in the door, you are greeted by every employee saying hi. They are very prompt to get you seated. They will also bring out a sample of the Sam's Roll almost immediately upon seating you. From my very first bite of the Sam's Roll, I knew I was hooked. It's deep fried and covered in sauce, so a lot of people may not like that style, but holy cow it tastes great. It's the fastest service I have ever seen, too. The first time I went was during the dinner rush and at first I was a little put off by how many times we were asked if we were ready to order. We wanted to enjoy a little conversation before making our minds up. Once I realized their goal is to get you fed (with a TON of food) and let you get on your way, I got past being annoyed by it. If I remember right, they also gave us free edamame that first time I went. Not a big deal, but it's a nice sentiment. Give it a try next time you're looking for some great sushi!

Wonderful family birthday dinner. Quick seating, wonderful sushi (Alaska & Philly roll), teriyaki beef and chicken plus fried asparagus. Miso, plus complementary sushi, edamame and sweet pineapple. My teens actually ate it and loved it. Dinner may even better than lunch.

I'm dropping this from a 4 star place to a 2 star place. People seem to give them high marks because they give away a lot of product(which is nice). The reason for the drop. I have ordered sushi twice here in the past month after not eating here for about 2 years, only because it is out of my way and there is a lot of decent sushi in the area. The past two experiences, the sushi was in my opinion prerolled and refrigerated before being served to me. It is not hard to know the melding of flavors and temperature that I am talking about if you have ever had premade sushi from fresh market or any grocery store. Both times I ordered over $60 worth of rolls, and both times our party finished dinner with over half remaining and unsatisfied, and not full stomachs. I will continue to update, and will give them another chance, but this place has drastically gone down hill as far as I can tell.

Great food, excellent service! They are incredibly fast during lunch service and the food is still fantastic. As soon as you sit down, you are given a complimentary appetizer along with miso soup. The sushi is fresh and the atmosphere is friendly. You get your bang for your buck.

  • Phillip G.

This is the best sushi place I've ever been to. Incredibly fast and friendly service, and the food is always fantastic no matter what you order. It blows my mind how a restaurant can be so fast, yet be able to serve food that is so fresh, and every piece looks like a work of art. To top it off, this place will always start you out with a complimentary dish on the house. It's a great way to discover new favorites on the menu!

Excellent sushi, especially this far from the coast. Excellent service, very quick, and free samples!

This place is terrific. Friendly staff and good sushi. They are continually bringing you food on the house and check on you all the time. I will definitely be back my next time in town

Probably one of the best sushi places I've eaten at! They're quick and have a great selection. They even let us have a few free samples when we were there!

  • Porntepp U.

How do they get fresh fish to a small land locked city in the middle of nowhere? No clue. Doesn't even matter because this is the best sushi place in northwest Arkansas. Maybe it's because there are no other options? Either way, every time I craved sushi, this place delivered. Not only is this place cheap, but they also bring you free sample rolls so the party keeps on going.

First time in the area. Regularly try to find sushi when traveling. Was not sure what to expect here but was very pleasantly surprised. Small place which was full on a Monday night. The sushi was good and the prices very reasonable. Had the sashimi mix plate and a roll. There was more pieces then the menu stated. They also served a couple complimentary samples. The service was very good, no shortage of staff taking care of me. The owner came by to chat and was very friendly. Told me they have been in business for 10 years in Rogers-Bentonville area. Will try again next time in town.

First...this place is called Sushi House, not Sushi King. Now, to the more important stuff.....food! Let me preface this by saying I have eaten sushi in Japan. This place tries real hard to bring the atmosphere of a busy Japanese fast sushi joint to NWA and for the most part they succeed! It's fun, loud, busy but never rushed. They do serve quickly and seem to want you to move out in an expeditious manner, but you are never rushed. It's a small place and they stay busy-so you can do the math. The Good - free appetizers, free salad, free soup and free "desert". The place is clean, service polite and orders come quick. The Bad - not a place for a quiet date. The Mediocre - the food! So why the 4-stars??...well, this is in Arkansas! There is no ocean nearby, so everything is flown in. Now if you do any research at all on sushi in the States you will realize that a LOT of the fish is not what it is claimed to be.....i.e. Tuna...especially fatty and yellow. You have to take this place for what it is - a fun, reasonably priced, semi-authentic sushi experience in the South. If you go in with this in mind, you won't be disappointed.

The best sushi place in nwa period the food was delicious, the service was amazing, the sushi was an art piece like it's suppose to be, they give you a few samples with out being asked to give you an idea of what you should get which I found extremely friendly, different, and awesome , best authentic sushi place in the area .

  • Lonnie S.

Phenomenal sushi! I had the Fuji which was really good. My wife had the bento box which was good except for the Teriyaki Chicken. This item was inedible. If it hadn't been for the 3 free sample plates of sushi (crazy crab roll is awesome) we would have requested a replacement item.

  • Steve H.

The place is a freakin' rush-job, but it's still the BEST sushi in NWA - maybe that I've ever had!

  • Pavel O.

Best sushi around. 5 stars. And not just for the free sushi you always get. Really fresh, delicious sushi, good sized rolls, and super amazing service. If you like sushi, you will love it after eating here.

I loved my dinner with friends at this place. I will be the first to agree with others who think the hurried pace and chaotic atmosphere is a bit much. Even if I lived in the area, this could never be my ONLY sushi stop. It is not the sort of place that lends itself to really taking your time and enjoying all of the flavors of your food. However, it was such fun - even the hurried pace and noise - it seems they have turned a small yet busy restaurant into a success but the rush now just seems to be part of the 'event' when you dine here. It was so packed when we walked in, we thought it might be a 30 minute wait but it was less than 5 minutes...people come in and out like ants to and from the anthill, the speed is unreal! All of the sushi and extras were fantastic in my opinion. It was fun to have things plopped down "on the house" that we may not have tried otherwise. I opted for the Miami roll and it was exactly what I wanted, a lighter meal option with just tuna and avocado. I loved their miso soup and the edamame was a nice touch, as were the fresh pineapple and oranges. My husband really enjoyed his two rolls as well, and we all marveled over the sheer gorgeousness of the Green Monster roll, which one of our friends ordered. She and her husband are regulars and they said she gets it every single time and loves it. The only thing I thought was less than stellar was their green tea ice cream. I've had that in other places where it was far better. It tasted a little freezer burnt and did not have a lot of flavor.

I'm not sure why it's called Sushi King on Yelp... it doesn't say Sushi King anywhere (website, building, menus), rather Sushi House or Sushi Japanese Cuisine. Whatever the name is, it is most definitely of royal caliber. The food is excellent and the service is exceptional. This place is always busy with the hustle and bustle like that of a big-city restaurant, but I've never had to wait longer than 5 min for a table during a lunch or dinner rush. Before and during the meal we received complimentary appetizers and our main entrees came out very quickly. I'm a big fan of their bento boxes which I think are the best value for your money, but unavailable during dinner. The bento box is a pick-2 or pick-3 mix-and-match with choices between various sushi rolls and teriyaki (chicken, salmon, beef). The box also includes fried rice, salad, and tempura vegetables. Hands-down one of the best places in the area.

I love this place I can't stop coming back. Great food great quality great service! Love the complimentary food. It lets you try other things you didn't want to order. Not a lot of parking so good luck with that, but worth it!

This place is awesome. The staff are incredibly friendly and give out many free samples. The Sushi is the best in town, and the service is usually pretty quick. This is my personal favorite resturant for this price range. If you haven't gone, definitely give it a try!

Amazing!!!! I went here for the first time today with my SOS and it was absolutely fantastic. I agree with the other reviewer that stated that the name of the restaurant is NOT Sushi King but Sushi Japanese Cuisine. Thank you Zach H. for letting us know because we would have driven right past it. We went right at 11am which was a very wise decision. We were the first to be seated and decided to sit at the bar and watch the sushi chefs at work. The place quickly filled up but the entire staff continued to be very attentive to us. They gave us waters and complimentary Sam's roll when we sat down. Then, they gave us edamame and miso soup before we even finished our order!! :) On a cold day, the miso soup was so nice to warm us up. We decided on the Jalapeño Volcano and the K.D. Special Roll. We were debating about the Krazy Crab Roll and they gave us a sampler of that too! I couldn't believe it and we will DEFINITELY order that next time. The Jalapeño Volcano was incredible and had some heat which we both LOVE. It had crab, spicy tuna, cream cheese wrapped with jalapeño and deep fried. It was unique and a roll I have never tasted before. It tasted wonderful and the kick was just right. The K.D. Special Roll had avocado, asparagus, cucumber, softshell crab, and five types of fish topped with a special sauce. That was tasty as well but next time- we'll opt for the Jalapeño Volcano and the Krazy Crab Roll! The chefs were so kind and when they had a tiny break- asked how our meal was. Watching them work was very enjoyable and they brought us some pineapple and oranges to complete our meal. I definitely know why this place has been around for nearly 10 years. They treated us well and kept clearing plates while we ate. They made sure we had everything we needed and I was very pleased! It was just the right amount of food for two. Looking forward to going back!

Good for NW Arkansas? I can't say for sure as this is the only sushi I've eaten in Arkansas. What I can say is that in Seattle this place wouldn't last a week. You do get quite a lot of freebies but they all have mayo all over them :( The fish itself was a mixed bag. About 2/3 tasted fairly fresh but the other third... Well I wouldn't even eat it cooked. Staff was friendly but I won't be back if business brings me back to the area.

I had dinner here last night and the service was outstanding. Take your time ordering as they bring you all kinds of free samples. I had Edamame, miso soup, a huge piece of some deep fried sushi roll and one of their speciality flaming volcano sample. Then ordered nigiri and two rolls. Sushi was above average 7-8 out of 10. But the servers and the service make this place.

  • Lani H.

When we arrived the place looked packed - but we were seated almost immediately. Nice. I am not used to leaving a sushi restaurant feeling stuffed, I left stuffed with doggie bag in hand. Did not expect these portion sizes from a sushi establishment. Pleased with everything we ordered. Not the best, but good. What we ordered... Veggie roll, Inari roll, tamago roll, Denver roll, hot mama, spicy yellow tail, salmon sashimi, salmon roll. What was on the house... Miso soup, flaming yellow tail, deep fried tuna roll (at least that is what it tasted like to me), and for dessert - pineapple and orange.

I love this place. It's by far the best sushi in NWA and the four-states region in general. I've eaten sushi around the world and, of course, it's better when you're closer to the ocean, but considering its geographical location, this ian't bad. I typically get plain sushi (tuna and unagi, no rice), seaweed salad, and some miso. Just about every time, the miso is on the house, and they drop off a few pieces of sample rolls. I've tried their rolls a couple times and I'm just not impressed. For one thing, they're way too big and I can't stand all the mayo dressings, etc. They don't taste bad, but they're not authentic, either. I think the service is great. They're polite, prompt, and never make me feel rushed to get out of my seat. A lot of people on here are commenting about how quick the service is, as though that's a bad thing. Seriously? It's sushi. It's RAW.

First thing that comes to mind when I took a bite of my sushi is "Fast food sushi". I wanted to really like this place after reading so many good reviews but I can't say I like their sushi, however I did give this place 4 stars because of one thing that a lot of restaurants lack and that is their Amazing service. I have been to so many sushi places and I have to say the sushi here is not that great. The sushi chefs here makes the rolls too fast, there is no care put into them, the rolls are very sloppy. Also there are some rolls that are definitely pre-made and kept in the fridge until it's ordered. After i made my order, I literally received one of the rolls within 30 seconds. One last thing that I don't like about the sushi here is the amount of sushi mayo they put on their rolls, it's overwhelming and i can't taste the fish. HOWEVER, their service is just amazing! I have never experienced such a great service. First of all they give you a lot of things "on the house". Second, i had 3-4 different servers (including the owner) asking if I needed anything or if I want refills on my drink. The place was packed but all the servers made sure I was enjoying my meal. The sushi wasn't great but the service definitely made up for it. I am still a fan of this place, next time I come back to Bentonville I will definitely come back here.

Amazingly Fast service, and you can see the speed in the hastily thrown together food. the wait staff seems a little pushy, and is all up in your face the whole time. It makes it hard to enjoy the meal. As for the food...I had an old standby spicy tuna cut roll and a rainbow roll, and both were ok for being in AR but definitely not something I would rave about. The fish is not fresh and the miso is instant.

Great food, fast service. Meals take about 25 minutes, which is perfect for lunch or a quick dinner. Not super conducive to wining and dining your new girlfriend, however.

  • Angela D.

This place serves the best sushi I've ever had. Very quick service, good prices, fresh food and they are always giving you extra things on the house (soup, Sam's roll sample, Edamame, oranges and pineapple for dessert). The servers are very friendly. It's loud during lunch and dinner but I love the upbeat atmosphere.

Probably the best sushi place in NWA!! The food is amazing and is delivered extremely fast. The only down side to sushi house is they seem rushed to get you out of there. Not ideal for a date or a relaxed dinner.

YES. YES. YES! ....YES Alright, now that we've got that brainless expression of love out of the way, let me give y'all the LOW-DOWN on why Sushi King deserves its SUSHI CROWN (yes, I know, the restaurant itself isn't called sushi king anywhere but online, but then you'd all have to miss out on the beauty of that incredibly lame couplet, wouldn't you?) I've eaten sushi everywhere from Dallas to Minneapolis (and a big ol' pile in Chicago especially), at every price point from $5 a roll to $30, and I still haven't tasted better sushi at better prices than here. Yes, their more elaborate rolls are very Americanized (mayo! cream cheese! tempura! fried rolls! more mayo!), but still scrumptious, and the simple rolls like cali, malibu, philly, and alaska are just as good. Fresh sashimi, firm, sticky rice, well-formed maki rolls, proportions of ingredients in each roll pleasing to the palate. The service is great too - I've never done a sit-down meal in here, but they can prepare a take-out meal within 5 minutes of calling (I actually have to either call from the highway or tell them to wait so it's timed right), and if you walk in to place a take-out order, the time frame is about the same, with a bonus sampler tray of makizushi for you to enjoy while you wait. It's very busy and I get the impression they try and move as many customers as possible as fast as possible if you let them, but from what I've seen the atmosphere is pleasant, warm, soothing, with just the right amount of bustle. One star off for lack of common sense and attentiveness - since my celiac diagnosis, I've always ordered rolls without soy, crab, or tempura, and specified I needed my order prepared on a clean surface, with clean gloves and knife/utensils, no soy, no tempura garnish, due to a severe wheat and soy allergy (not technically true, but what wait staff knows what celiac means?). Despite stating this very clearly, 5 times out of 10 they still include badly-sealed cups of soy sauce and a slice of a sampler tempura roll in the same container as my order, contaminating the whole thing. So if you're ordering gf, BE SPECIFIC, even if you tell them you can't have wheat or soy your order they'll still include gluten extras in the container unless you specifically say not to! Other than that, though, it's fast, friendly service to give you fab food at a price that can't be beat. Make your next sushi stop here and it might just be a touch transcendental.

The service was fast and courteous. I had the salmon maki roll and a shrimp tempura roll. Everything was really fresh and delicious. I plan on making this one of my go to restaurants when I am in Bentonville!

This sushi restaurant was busy, loud, and fast paced, much to the atmosphere of Japanese restaurants. They serve great fresh sashimi and I sampled a few things from the chef which was fun & nice. Can't get better sushi than this in NWA!

Yea, pretty good place here. Busy! Lil Asian people running around every where. But we sat at the sushi bar and they kept hooking us up with freebies. I like these guys and they're menu. Will be coming back for more!!!!

This my first time to Arkansas so I can't really compare this place to others in the area. Had dinner here tonight. The service is great...everyone is friendly, attentive and fast! They gave me a bunch of free appetizers: one large piece from a roll, a small bowl of edamame, miso soup and a salmon dish that was wrapped in foil and flambéed. So why only 3 stars? I got the 23 piece sashimi dinner...I'm pretty sure they gave me even more than 23 pieces and still it wasn't as much food as you would think. The pieces were small, probably the smallest I've ever had. Not terrible for the price but still a little disappointing. But more importantly, the tuna was not good. The texture was off and I'm wondering if it was even tuna. There were 9 pieces of tuna and I ended up eating about 6 of them just because I was still hungry. I couldn't force myself to eat the last 3. I can't remember the last time I walked away from tuna...

Ridiculously good for price. Exceptional, fast service. They yell anytime someone walks in! Definitely best place I've been in NWA! I recommend sushi lovers to come here. I had the "sex and the city" rolls! Very outstanding. You also get free appetizer and fruit at the end of your meal. Definitely worth coming here!

Best sushi in nwa, and about the best I've had anywhere. Mango roll is best. Great service, great value and I appreciate the complimentary offers. I've been there many times and never been disappointed.

This would have been a 5 star review but my last experience, particularly with the waitress was absolutely horrible. Food was still great though. She attempted to tell me out to parent my child and would leave the issue alone. Then proceeds to ignore and give ugly looks. Its all good though. I will return. She could have just been having a bad day.

A group of fourteen of us came here for a friend's birthday because it was much cheaper than Shogun down the street. It was the BEST decision. We were seated at two tables, and the waitresses immediately brought over 4 sample rolls. I ordered a California roll that was only $4.50 and above average. Then, they brought out free bowls of miso soup for everyone. When our meals came, we received four more free sample rolls! Finally, as the bill came, we were brought 3 complimentary fruit platters, and one had candles for the birthday girl. The waitresses were fantastic, and everyone should try this place!

This place was amazing. Honestly, we were almost FULL on samples before our order ever came. The whole staff was so friendly and inviting, it was such a pleasure to find this hole-in-the-wall! :)

We're not from the Rogers area so maybe we need to grade this on a curve compared to the sushi we're used to eating. I would describe this place as fast food sushi. Tables are small and shaky and close together. Paper napkins. As soon as your butt hits the chair they bring a 4 piece sushi roll sampler. Now, it is nice getting free food but they are clearly totally focused on turning your table as fast as possible. We started with a few pieces of sushi and were glad we hadn't ordered more. Just not that fresh in taste or appearance. The flaming volcano of yellowtail was the high point. It was delicious. The other rolls we ordered were so-so. We didn't finish them and didn't even finish our beer - a first. And the kids teriyaki chicken was poor, they skipped it and just ate rice. Service was efficient in the cruel sort of way. We were glad to get out of there. Would never return here. There are better choices in the area.

My husband and I went here today for the first time. It was a great experiance! The waitress was very helpful. I will definitely go again. We also took our 4 year old daughter, she had a small fried rice. The parking lot was pretty full, we went early so it wasn't too bad.

Great service, nice portions on the Nigiri.. Tekkamaki was very good. Not a fan of western style sushi. This establishment treats you to free samples, the roll they put in front of me did not look very appealing. The second treat was a nicely grilled tuna slice on arugula with lite touch of a vinegar oil(?). Very good. Was very reasonable.

  • Rudy W.

cheap fish and overloaded with mayo. their cooked items is better than sashimi or nigiri. due to the ingridient. this place is run like a assembly line, great if you want to get quick bite, just dont expect more

  • Anissa T.

The best sushi I've found in the immediate area. Nothing super fancy, but all the basics are well represented. If you'll ask John (the owner ,who is typically behind the sushi bar) he'll whip up something unusual with one of the better cuts of fish. Presentation is always nice Be prepared for lots of "Americanized" sushi - lots of cream cheese, avocado, tempura, and sauce laden rolls. I usually stick with the basics - seaweed salad and nigri sushi, while my husband will dig into a bento box at lunch. The owners are wonderful, make you feel right at home and will do anything to make your experience more pleasant. It is most definitely worth the stop.

Very popular place and servers do a good job of taking orders quickly and they must have a system that has most popular items prepared for their combo specials. Fish is reasonably fresh and tasty, and LOVE the complimentary edamame and fried rolls. Parking can be a bear but I was told you can use the church parking next door as well. I like the energy here and how quickly they can turn tables without offending customers.

I had a great experience here! The sushi was perfect. They give you all kinds of free samples and appetizers. The seaweed salad was fresh and tasty. The waitstaff will rush you through the meal if you let them, but they are very nice about it!

Great service and great sushi but sometimes you do feel rushed. They always greet you when you walk in the door.

Sushi King is pretty much my favorite place in Bentonville. I love that as soon as you come in, they give you a sample of whatever is new - right now it's tempura asparagus. YUM!!! You also get a great cup of complimentary miso soup while you wait for your sushi. Some of my favorite things are the golden California roll (Cali roll with flying fish roe on top), Rainbow roll, and ANY of their chef special rolls. Yeah, the rolls are Americanized. So what? They are all SUPER fresh, and served SO fast. I can always assure myself that if I want to come in here for lunch on a work day, I don't have to worry about being late getting back. The bento boxes at lunch are a great deal, and you can get just about anything you want in them - teriyaki salmon/chicken beef, sushi, sashimi. And they all come with rice, tempura veggies, and their amazing house salad (which has dried cranberries on top - awesome). I LOVE YOU SUSHI KING!!!

If you want a Japanese party in your mouth, eat here. I went here for lunch with family while we were in town for my sister-in-law's nursing school graduation ceremony. Right after walking in and sitting down, someone plopped down four slices of sushi for us to sample. After we ordered, the complementary food kept coming. We sampled some yellow fin tuna that was seasoned and wrapped in tin foil before being lit on fire (super cool!) and we had some miso soup. As for what we ordered and paid for, it was reasonably priced or a really good deal depending on what you got. Some of the sushi rolls were not very expensive (around $9 or $10) and provided LOTS of food. I couldn't even wrap my mouth around the sushi slices. They were too big. That sounds like it would be a con (or a perverted joke waiting to happen) but I'm still in a broke college student mindset and the more for your money, the better. Also, the service is great. The servers are friendly, even when the lunch crowd arrived and things got busier. I'd definitely go back to this place if I didn't live in Fort Worth, Texas.

Not called Sushi King anymore, but a great place to go eat! Cheap quality sushi. Amazing service too. For three people it cost 27$ and we had extra. Love it :)

I can't believe how good the sushi is at Sushi King. I swear, they have to be putting crack in it, because I can not visit Northwest Arkansas without stopping here. A little Americanized (not that this is a bad thing), the fish is ALWAYS fresh and the roll recipes are unique and localized. Where else would you get a Wal-Mart Roll or a Tyson Roll? Very friendly service, the owner (Jon) and his wife (Catherine) are usually hard at work. The server staff turns over quickly, but they are always sharp and professional and friendly (usually local students) and refilling the drinks constantly. When you sit down at Sushi King, they usually bring out a plate with some new creation to sample and it's always delicious. I usually order it or go with one of my favorites, like the Rock and Roll Roll. There's also a fruit plate of sushi-slices oranges or pineapple for an after dinner dessert. Prices are excellent. Parking can be a little difficult depending on what else in the plaza is open. Stop by after dinner for a coffee next door at Kennedy Coffee!

Good food, I enjoy the roll that they give you every time for samples, and the staff always seem to be pretty friendly. While the rolls are good, it's just not as personal and friendly as a few of the other places. Been there a few dozen times, and never once has anyone welcomed me back or recognized me, etc. Not that that's really a knock, but it's why I rate it a bit below two other places in Bentonville that I personally enjoy more (although the sushi isn't necessarily a star better)

Love this place! I have been going here since they first opened and will not go to any other sushi place in this area because this is the best in town!!!! I moved to LA where sushi should be king but I found that was not the case. I missed sushi king so much! The mango sushi cannot be beat. The atmosphere, though rushed, is one that is welcoming and attentive. The whole greets you and bids you farewell when you come in and leave. You get complimentary appetizers (sams roll/sushi), miso soup, edamame and fruit at the end of your meal. Their take-out is also great. Takes about 5-10 for it to be ready after you call it in and you can run in and grab it quickly and be out the door. The only down fall is the parking. If you go M-F during work hours you will not be able to find a spot to park, so carpool or be ready to park at the church next door and walk over a grass lot. Not a big deal, just be prepared. Overall, great place to eat!

What is lacking in freshness and variety is made up for in friendly service and complimentary appetizers ('on the house!'). It's entirely possible to be in and out of here during the lunch rush in 20 minutes. Cooked foods are more consistently good, while the sushi and rolls are hit or miss. Still, probably the best sushi in Bentonville/Rogers. Will not be mistaken for a traditional Japanese meal or fine dining, but does the trick when I need a sushi fix...which is quite often. (review based on 10+ visits) Price Per Person: - $10-$20 Recommended Dishes: - Crazy Roll; Bento Box (w/ Chicken Terriyaki, Spicy Tuna) Best for: - Lunch; Take Out

This is one of my very favorite places to eat in town. I have been dining at Sushi King (also known as Sushi House) for over 5 years and always have been impressed by the consistency of their service and product. Sushi King is a locally owned business and the owners, John and Catherine Wei, are super nice people. You can usually find John behind the Sushi bar and Catherine at the register. Their English is proficient but not fluent, so don't expect an in-depth conversation! Upon walking through the door, you are greeted by several enthusiastic cries of "irasshaimase!" (which in Japanese is a polite command that means "come in" but also "welcome to the store"). One or more employees approach with a smile and offer you a table or seat at the sushi bar. This is almost always followed by a complimentary dish of edamame, bowl of miso soup, or sample of one of the chef's special rolls - a tactic that both merchandises the menu and inspires immediate customer loyalty. After you are finished, you often also receive a complimentary piece of pineapple or orange served up in an artistic design. I have tried most everything and have found all to be delicious - from the traditional maki and nigiri to the more complex "Americanized" sushi rolls. The rice is perfectly seasoned with mirin: delightfully sweet and sticky but never gummy. The fish and vegetables are always fresh and delicious. Even my 4 year old asks for their sushi all the time!

I lived in California near the coast for several years and have had excellent sushi at a number of restaurants throughout Orange County and LA. I decided to try out Sushi King for lunch today based on the large number of good reviews. I ordered the Fiery Volcano special, believing I'd receive a spicy sushi roll with raw yellow-tail and was unfortunately given a cooked concoction of yellow tail in sauce, along with a side. Their specials board was very unclear. The result did taste good but I don't generally want cooked fish when I go out for sushi. The serving size, even with the four piece side, was rather small. Since I couldn't tell what on the board was a roll or something else I decided to order something simple and asked for a spicy tuna roll. To my disappointment the chef pulled out a premade roll, sliced it and then served it to me. Right away I noticed the tuna had turned mostly brown but I was hoping it was just something in the mix giving it that color. Tasting the roll I found the fish to be room temperature and the outside of the rice to be dry, indicating it had been sitting out for a while. The fish did not taste like it had gone bad, but it was definitely not good and I was not able to finish it. To top it off, the roll was very poorly made and portions of it were more than half rice with very little fish in the middle. The free desert was fresh cut fruit and it was nicely presented and tasted good. The wait staff was average and the noise level was very high. I had to double-check that I ate at the right restaurant due to the large number of good reviews before posting this review, but unfortunately it was the right place. I will not be returning and I will recommend to others that they go to one of the other good sushi bars in town.

Generous portions, fresh sushi and fast service. The rolls are huge and from time to time you get free Specialty rolls to taste and free miso soup with each meal. Definitely recommend for lunch or dinner.

5 stars for service, 5 stars for food. I tasted at least 8 different and liked all of them. This is one of my favorite places to eat in NWAR and the family that runs it add to the value. They periodically have dropped free dishes (I have never been there with less then 8 people) off at our table for us to try. If you aren't a sushi fan, get anything "tempura", which is fried

The reviewers are right! This place rocks and rolls! (sushi rolls! ...ok, that was a bad joke). From the moment we sat down to when we left we were eating. Complimentary Sam's Rolls when we sat at the bar (looked like a long wait so we went for the bar -- which was really enjoyable). Miso soup to follow, and then our order which was made in front of our eyes. And then a complimentary dessert. All with warm sake and excellent service. Famazing! The wait isn't as long as it looks. Parking is worse than it looks. The white noise and activity of the place makes you feel like you're in a big city. Completely awesome once you find a parking spot.

This is the first review that I have gone back to and rewritten from scratch, without a recent visit. And I want to explain why. I think it speaks volumes to be able to admit when you are wrong about something, and there was an aspect of my first review that I was wrong about. I had dinged them pretty hard for how they had acted on the phone, when I had called them to get some information. And this was during a busy time of the evening. I still think it could have been handled better a tad on their part, but having dealt with so many restaurants now and their staff and owners, I know a little better now what they go through on a day in and day out basis to operate their businesses. And give them kudos for taking on so much!! So with that said, let me go back over my visit there, because that is the most important part. And I will endeavor to get back by there soon to try them out again, so until then, I am going to leave my "vote" as neutral. I truly do like to see mom and pop shops do well and tell everyone I can about them, and from what I am seeing in regards to others reviews, it looks like they are doing things right. -------------------------------------- When I came into the establishment I was immediately greeted by the staff, in a very cheerful fashion. It was like there was a celebration that I came through the doors, which caught me off guard, but felt great. And while I was eating, this occurred several times. So my scoring of the wait staff attentiveness is very high. As I was ordering I was offered a complimentary bowl of Miso soup, which I accepted. The broth was good, and the tofu was cooked well. My only complaint of this particular appetizer was the lack of green onion. It was a bit shy in that area. Other than that, it was good. Wanting to sample a small variety of their items, I opted for the three combo bento special. This was a lunch portion which ran me right at $12 which was reasonable. I picked the Salmon Teriyaki, 4 pieces of sushi (which added $1) and 5 pieces sashimi (which added $1). When the food arrived, the overall plating and presentation was good. On the plate were some tempura vegetables, a house salad with house dressing, the sushi consisted of salmon and tuna, and the sashimi also consisted of salmon and tuna. I had really hoped to try a larger array of fish, so it would have been nice to have had something different for the sushi perhaps. There was also a piece of teriyaki salmon. And I also opted for the fried rice instead of steamed rice. The taste of the fish in regards to the sushi and sashimi was good, you can tell they do use fresh fish there which is important in any sushi establishment. I can give you more than one horror story of places I have gone into where the sushi would have been barely fit to bait a hook with. This was not the case here. In regards to the teriyaki salmon, unfortunately this one fell on a bit of a flat note. The fish was seasoned well, but was actually dry on the inside. This is not one that I would order again. The fried rice was a vegetable fried rice, and it was very good. The salad consisted of only one type of lettuce, and that was iceberg. And unfortunately there were several pieces that had brown on them, which meant they had sat out a bit too long and started to oxidize in the air. Picking through my salad I would say about 15 percent of it was in this shape. Which was sad, because the house dressing was quite nice. The tempura battered vegetables were cooked well, and the batter was not too thick on these bits and bites. So this made a very nice accompaniment to the dish over all. At the end of the course, I was presented with a complimentary plate of fruit. The pineapple was cut into bits, in a shape that resembled a boat. And the orange was peeled partially, with the peel set in a decorative fashion. Presentation was very nice on this. In regards to the interior of the building, it is decorated much the same as other establishments of this type. The seating area is small but clean, as well as open and inviting. The men's rest room on the other hand was a bit different. Full trash receptacle, with trash on floor from being that full. And unfortunately when I touched the inside of the rest room door, it was sticky to the touch. My guess is grease build up that has not been cleaned recently, but definitely put me off a bit. Now having said all of this, I will make sure to get back by there and try them out. And from what I am seeing others saying about them, they are worth you going and trying out!

This has to be the best sushi experience I have ever had. We were welcomed by everyone from the moment we walked in the door. If you love sushi, give this place your money and time. But you won't spend much time waiting for food, and you won't spend too much money. I left full, but not on rice. I was full on fish!! We got some flaming tuna dish, gratis. I have been so happy with this experience, that I have been telling people in Chicago about it, asking where I can find that here. I can't wait for work to send me back to AR so that I can eat here again.

I have been traveling to Bentonville every week for work from Los Angeles for the past two months. I just tried Sushi King for the first time a few days ago and it was the best meal I've had in my whole time in Bentonville. PROS: Super friendly staff, suprisingly a lot of free stuff, and delicious sushi. CONS: Their food is too addicting! I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

I recently moved here from FL, I was worried that I would be unable to get good sushi here in NWA, some coworkers of my wife recommended sushi king to us so we tried it and now we're hooked. The service is like no other they move so fast even at there busiest time you can be in and out in less than 30min.

Big city girl in search of good sushi in Bentonville/Rogers area... SUCCESS!!!! I wasn't sure what I would find for sushi here but I must say, some of the best I have had! They started to feed me before I sat down. Extremely large selection of sushi! Met the owners, John and Kathy. What a wonderful couple! I cannot say enough great things about this place. Tried the Bonzi, yummy!!! So many options. I will be back to try more... Thanks for keeping me company during my dinner.

A dim orange sign reads "SUSHI," neighbor to equally matter-of-fact coffeehouse "COFFEE." The nondescript exterior, however, belies one of Bentonville's more worldly spots. You'll be greeted by friendly staff as soon as you enter the King's intimate, bustling dining room. Hospitality is clearly a key part of the owner's strategy, and is pulled off quite nicely here. A fairly standard menu has not forgotten your sushi favorites, miso / seaweed / edamame / tempura, udon, and mochi cravings, although you won't find the more exotic quail eggs or sea urchin. Your more tame companions and children can enjoy items like chicken terriaki or noodle soup while being gently cajoled to sample your more adventurous items risk free. Vegetarian options abound. When ordering, the staff proves to be knowledgeable and patient with particular tastes, as long as you are willing to be patient with english as a second language. Your patience will be rewarded. Tempura vegetable appetizer arrived hot and properly fried, with fresh broccoli, sweet potato, and onion; about 10 pcs. An atypically large (~3 cup) seaweed salad, counterpointed with the usual rice vinegar and sesame seed dressing was shared easily. Edamame was unsalted and cooked tender, and went down easy with the usual Japanese beers and sake. Sushi comes out fast, and is fresh but not exceptionally so. Medium small rolls of tuna were average-to-good, with a little more mayonnaise in the california rolls than you might expect. Mochi ice cream arrives pre-portioned and skewered on eight toothpicks, allowing everyone to enjoy some light dessert without having a full order. I'm not saying we didn't all pig out and get our own, but the option is there :) The price and value was better than average, about 25$ a person including appetizers and drinks. Overall a positive experience that invites repeat business. Lacks the competition's convenience of gassing up your car while you pick up a few rolls :)

Absolutely outstanding service! Generally, they welcome you when you come in by the whole staff shouting a greeting. I have yet to wait for seating despite having nearly a full restaurant for both lunch and dinner. They are so friendly, and are right on the spot with drink refills, complimentary sushi and/or miso soup, and the sushi is incredibly fast! I have traveled all over in my time in the Army, and I make it a habit to sample the sushi houses surrounding my stations. With that in mind, I hope it weighs in quite heavily when I say this is the best one yet. Furthermore, I spend less at Sushi King and end up fuller than I do at any other sushi restaurant. I give it 5 stars, and I'm normally HIGHLY critical. Awesome!

A snack, appetizer (both free), Miso soup, salad, entree (for 2 meals) and a fruit dessert for $10.00! Served by 4 of the staff, greeted when we came in. Can't be beat! Food was superb. Can't wait to eat the leftovers!

I've lived on both coasts and consider myself a definite foodie and a bit of a sushi snob. These days I'm traveling to and from Bentonville quite often, so I figured giving this place a shot. Well, this sushi is as good as any I've had anywhere. They're creative, give a lot of freebies and the portions are extremely generous! Also, they're fast, I mean really fast, which is great because I'm usually squeezing it in before I head to the client's for the afternoon or grabbing a quick dinner before getting back on the road. There's nothing worse than when I have to drop $70 on myself just to fill up, but this place isn't that case. The fish is as good of quality as I've ever had and it was a great find for the middle of north central Arkansas. Can't wait to get back there.

I have lived on the west coast and eat sushi whenever I'm in an area where it's available. I have tried every sushi restaurant in the state of Arkansas that I can find. This place is one of the best sushi restaurants a person will ever find and is hands down the best in Arkansas. The last time I was there I got four complementary items, including appetizer of Sam's roll and vegetable tempura, miso soup, seared ahi salad, and fruit for dessert. They also have the fastest and most friendly service you can imagine. My favorites are the sexy sexy roll and super white nigiri. Thanks to Jeb H. for the recommendation!

I can't say enough about this place. It's a hidden gem in NWA as far as Japanese quinine goes. The owners are always there greeting you with a smile, rolls are quick packed, and always delicious! You cant go wrong with this spot for lunch!

I have been going here since I moved to Bentonville six years ago and it is the best! The sushi is always good, far better than anything else I've tried in the area, and the service is excellent. I am off at college now and every time I come back the owners ask about my school and the friends I usually come in with. This is a wonderful place that feels like home, a home that serves delicious, delicious food!

This place is ok but it seems like everything is fried. The true Korean's do not use alot of fried foods in there menu list. Just personal preference. The people here are nice and the food is average.

Hands down, my favorite sushi bar in Northwest Arkansas, and almost anywhere for that matter. Sure it might be jammed between a coffee house and a elderly mobility supply store, but looks can be deceiving. Once you walk inside it's a pleasantly decorated, extremely friendly, excellently priced, and surprisingly fresh and delicious. The owners, John (Korean) and his wife Catherine (Taiwanese) are total sweethearts and love getting to know you if you wish to chat. (Be prepared for some Engrish). Before you know it, they will be calling you by name when you come in week after week for their tasty sushi, sashimi and nigiri. John hand selects and cuts all the seafood he uses and makes all his sauces from scratch. Easily some of the best eel sauce I've ever had. I've eaten at fancy coastal sushi bars and uppity urban sushi bars, and I've still yet to find one that rivals Sushi King. I suppose that's why it's King after all...

Didn't expect to find super super fresh sushi at reasonable prices in this landlocked town but have been pleasantly surprised! Watching how fast the tables turn and having boss lady confirm they get fresh deliveries from Dallas is how they do it. Was in town for business on a Thursday night. Arrived at the restaurant around 7pm and there were quite a few people but there was enough capacity to be seated right away. One friendly waiter came by and took my drink order right away, as did 4 other different friendly waiters over the next 2 minutes while the first waiter was fetching my drink. Each waiter serves all the tables which is kind of a nice way to run a restaurant, no waiting for your specific waiter, and you can just work with whoever is closest or most convenient. My order for a bento combination was taken promptly (by a different waiter), a complimentary bowl of edamame was delivered soon thereafter, and the food served quickly also (miso soup about 2 minutes later, salad 2 minutes after that, bento combo about 5 minutes after that; various friendly waiters for each). The bento combo had a good portion of food (way more tempura than I was expecting) and I thought it was a good value, even at the "dinner" price which was a few dollars more than the "lunch" price. The sushi was decent; one thing I noted was that the pieces of tuna were quite large, extending well beyond the sushi rice. I saw some of the dishes the other patrons ordered and they looked good; I was stuffed from my bento combo and could not try anything else. There were two TVs on the walls showing some baseball All-Star festivities which is nice if you want to catch a glimpse of whatever the day's game was. All in all a good experience and I will definitely go back next time I am in town.

Wow awesome!! Fast and friendly service. They forgot my soup, I politely informed them so, and then like all of the sushi chefs were yelling and pointing and telling all the staff to get me my soup as quickly as possible. I was like woah I'm no need to hurry lol Food is great. Within the 30min I was there, I was given 4 dishes on the house - edamame, 1 piece of fried sushi, small serving of peppered tuna, and then fruits at the end. How nice!! Definitely returning!!

Wow- pretty great experience. Everything was weirdly quick and by weirdly quick, I mean our food was on the table before I could even order it. They gave us tons of free sample rolls. The sushi was sneaky great, very unassuming. I would definitely go back here.

This place has high ratings because they give out a lot of free stuff. I had the chef's choice for sushi and this is definitely a subpar sushi place. In LA, this sushi place would be a place where big groups go to get their fill, but it will never amount to quality sushi. Chef's choice should definitely include at least a piece of toro. It was your usual salmon, tuna, very cheap sushi that I could've bought at a market myself, not even fatty salmon. Very disappointed especially with all the hype and reviews. It also really pains me that people think this is the best sushi they've had. You can tell the quality of sushi if there is a crowded sushi bar. This place wasn't...it was a table type of sushi place.

favorite place to go for sushi. there's always free samples and extremely fast service. I've tried a lot of sushi and it's some of the best I've had. if you want a classy, slower paced atmosphere I recommend going somewhere else, but this is where you're going to get the best food.

I had heard great things about this place. I was really excited to try it out since I'd been hoping to find a good sushi place since moving here. Well, it lived up to the hype! My husband and I came here on a weekday night around 7:15pm. We were able to get right in and seated. FOOD: I had heard that they give you free food to start with and they sure do. I think the free starters change day to day, but this is what we had, as well as the food we ordered: Free Starters: Sam's Roll (2 pieces) Mango Roll (2 pieces) Edamame Miso Soup (we each got our own) Fruit Plate (at the end of our meal) Food We Ordered: Sex & The City Roll Bentonville Roll Everything was very delicious! I want to go back and try more rolls! I was definitely skeptical because I'm use to sushi in California - near the beach, so it was a pleasant surprise how good everything was. I didn't ask where they sourced their fish from (wild or farm raised - I prefer wild) and I will have to ask next time. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Everyone we came in contact with was very friendly. OVERALL: I am definitely coming back here!

This place is does sushi just like the typical culinary simpleton likes it. It's smothered in sauce, crunchy, and cooked. This place just trying to turn as many tables as quickly as possible to the point of rudeness and rushing you out the door. It was like leave me alone you vultures, I am trying to eat in peace!!! If you want to shovel mediocre sushi down your throat and leave within 20 minutes this place is for you. In my opinion you have to go to Tulsa or Dallas to get good sushi. It just really doesn't exist around here.

  • Marino K.

Probably the best place for sushi in Northwest Arkansas. Fair pricing, fun atmosphere (you can sense the spirit of teamwork and customer-service oriented culture instilled in the staff), quick service, lots of freebies (they provide samples just for being a customer) and delicious sushi options. People tend to order the more Americanized versions of sushi (e.g., lots of sauce, fried varieties, etc.) here, which is what they are typically known for, but the more authentic sushi is also delicious. I had the more exotic uni, sea urchin, again the other day to try it, and although I'm not the biggest fan, it was definitely fresh. You won't leave this place hungry. Great place for lunch or dinner!

This place is absolutely amazing. We're from la and this is the best sushi we ever had hands down! they give complementary rolls, and soup, and as soon as you order you get your food in 5 minutes or less! Crazy! We are so sad we have to go back to la. We have something to look forward to when we get back thanks to this place

The service is FAST! The sushi is great! Lots of free appetizers and tastings, but if you're looking to relax, wind down or even have a conversation with someone, there's not much time for that. They want you in, stuffed and out the door. Extremely nice people, just fast paced. We've lived here 3 weeks and have been here twice. Love it!

The most delicious and amazing sushi restaurant I've ever been to in the US. I'm no stranger to sushi, I've had traditional Japanese sushi and I was blown away by this place. Bentonville, ARKANSAS.... weird place for a place of this caliber to be, but I think that also is what makes this place so great. The fact that this amazing place is in a location where you'd least expect it is so funny to me. I wish we had a place this great here in KC!!

What an amazing experience!!! Great sushi, Crazy fast service and they bring you tons of free stuff. We were so full by the time we were done. Highly recommended and we will be back next time we are in the area.

This is a lunchtime favourite in this area. Almost packed with Walmart employees who work nearby. We went here on two occasions for lunch and wow what a efficient operations. 4/5 of us always seated quick, food and drinks served and done within 20 minutes. The staff are very friendly and although there is nothing fancy about the place the sushi was surprisingly good. (Not a sushi expert). They do lunch deals of bento type boxes but where they exceed expecations was the amount of freebies. Soon as we sat down they gave each of us a sample of some sushi, along with some fish wrapped in foil and the plate lit on fire. Really great place, if it was in Toronto i would be here as a regular.

Favorite place for sushi in NWA. The Ma Ma San is by far my favorite. The Green Dragon is also excellent. The service is always very quick and the staff has always been friendly.

Loved this joint . Super super busy but you know that's a good sign. Sushi was amazing and service was top notch even when the Place was literally packed. They bring you a few rolls to try which I found to be very nice. Atmosphere is busy and loud but is soooo worth it. I was very happy to get good sushi in arkansas considering I'm from New York and expectations are high. Mm can't wait to go back.

Here on a business trip, so this was a great find only 0.4 miles walk from my hotel! The staff and owners (I think) were all very friendly. I ordered tea, a Super Dragon Roll, a few Unagi sushi and some edamame; plenty for a meal for one - and they brought over about 4 other dishes and things to sample "on the house" so I ended up eatting A LOT! It was all very tasty - turns out I shouldn't have been nervous coming from California a block from the ocean to order raw fish hundreds of miles from the sea! Anyway, good food, good prices, good service - what more could you want?

Such a pleasure finding a place like this when you're traveling for work. A great energy to the restaurant and the sushi was wonderful. Sit at the bar if you can to watch the action...

I have lived in LA and can honestly say I have never had this good of sushi. Craziest thing ever. Who knew ARKANSAS! Get there. Eat here. They give you tons of free samples. We were in the door sat and had our sushi in less than 5 minutes. Amazing.

It's like a maze getting through this place. Tables are really close together and they will occasionally sit you next to someone you don't know. There is always a line out the door. They give free samples of sushi while you wait for your food. I had a bad experience here when this place was previously called *Sushi King* and my friend and I got food poisoning and we also found a fly in our soup. I have since decided to give it another try and the sushi was really good.

I've been here a number of times and this place is as good as it gets. It starts when you walk in they greet you with some kind of Japanese yell. You get to your seat and the workers are always buzzing around. I don't think I have ever seen any worker ever just standing. You are also always given a complimentary couple pieces of sushi on the house. I also like they give you free edameme. The sushi list is very good and they have a lot to choose from. I have tried many things on there and they are always fresh and good. They give you some fruit to end your meal and it's just a great experience. I can see why this place is constantly packed every time I go in there.

Sushi house was recommended to me and exceeded my expectations. I was given complementary appetizer, and two pieces of unique sushi to sample. It was quite the experience. I ordered a rainbow roll and it was great. Followed up by complementary desert fruit that looked like they had been sculpted by an artist. The place was packed at 11am for lunch when I went. The staff was awesome and I was greeted and thanked by everyone ar Sushi House! If you haven't been here, you must give it a try!

I can't believe I rated a sushi place in NWA 5 stars, but it deserved it. Tons of chow, super high-quality, really fun server. Loved it!

Go early. This place fills up FAST! This is not a place for a leisurely meal - they are looking to turn tables. On the plus side, the sushi is very, very good. Plus they bring you all kinds of small free samples to try.

Seriously. The best sushi place you will ever experience. Service, taste, selection. Nothing lacking here. Why are you still reading this? Order a Cherry Blossom and experience a taste of Heaven.

So extremely impressed with this restaurant! Went here for lunch on a Saturday and we were seated immediately and given free edamame and 2 free rolls. Once we ordered we got 2 more free rolls and a free bowl of soup. The orders took less than 5 mins and all of the food was delicious!! After we ate we got free fruit as dessert! Prices are very reasonable and with all the free food you don't have to order much. The most impressive to me was that they had a paleo roll: a few meats in a cucumber roll without rice. Delicious!! I will definitely return.

Sushi house is by far the best sushi I've had. During rush times expect there to be a swift moving line but don't expect to wait long because they are a well oiled machine. The freebies are a nice touch. They usually start you off with a free sampler of their Sams roll, then they hit you with miso soup, flaming volcano (sometimes), and edamame. Once you decide what you want you literally receive your order in minutes. And throughout the meal you are being taken care of by the entire staff. Not just one waiter/waitress. Every time we go we try something new and we're never disappointed. We asked the waitress to have the chef make a special roll of his choice and it was incredible. I highly recommend it. Once you're finished, you guessed it, another freebie. They give you a small plate of pineapple and oranges. The perfect sweet finish to an incredible meal and experience. If you're in Bentonville please check it out. You will love them.

This is my favorite place to grab sushi in NWA. I moved from Chicago and this has been my go to for months. The service is fast and the you get at least two free dishes to sample. They are very generous with the portion sizes also.

Very impressed with this place. They bring free food items directly to your table, the sushi here is the best in bentonville in my opinion. The rolls can be a bit pricy, but its definitely worth the money for the more expensive rolls. The atmosphere is also really good, with a traditional greeting from all the staff when you walk in. Service is very good, fast fresh food. Friendly wait staff. There is no reason not to like this place.
