Healthy Meal suggestions for Ruby Tuesday

I've never been a fan of Ruby Tuesday, but my wife wanted the salad bar tonight. It was a complete disaster. With the place almost empty, they left us waiting at the front door about 10 minutes before seating. After we get a table, it was 15 more minutes before the waiter showed up to take our drink order. We order food and drinks at the same time. My wife orders the salad bar and an appetizer. 10 minutes later they inform us they're out of that appetizer. My wife orders a different appetizer. The waitress thinks that item can only ordered when combined with something else. We have to show it to her on the menu as an individual item. After about 50 minutes, we finally get food and it's awful. The meat in my pasta is burned. My wife's item is very greasy. My son says the chicken tenders from Chick-fil-a are better.

Ok, So my wife dragged me in here again. Never cared for much here but the salad bar. 10 years ago it was good. Damn good. Now it's garbage. They took away many of the best items to increase their profit margin (as explained by the waitress in other words) I use to eat here once a week and then less frequently as they down scaled their salad bar. Now I go once a year tops to see if they fixed the salad bar only to find yet another key item or two gone. Oh and sliced utility tomatoes (I'm in the produce business so I know cheap tomatoes) instead of grape or cherry. Really?? I'm also pretty sure I tasted mold on the spinich. On the bright side, I'm pretty sure my bowles should be completely empty for the next few days and then some due to the explosive diarrhea that's sure to follow. Thanks alot!!!!

Never been too impressed with the Ruby Tuesday chain, but we are new to the area and decided to give this one a try. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean. But the food was nothing special and luke warm. My wife's fries were cold. We ran out of drinks and we were done with our meal before we got a drink refill and only after we asked for it. It seems that this location isn't much different than others we've been to.

Has been almost 2 years since I last visited. Today's visit found a very clean and busy place. Food service was quick and wait staff was friendly and attentive. Not out of this world good, but a very decent burger and lunch experience.

Consistently follows the Ruby Tuesday's formula, it is exactly the same as every other one I have ever been to, right down to the semi-crunchy pumpernickel croutons on the salad bar. Heck, I'm copying and pasting my review from another one! Massive selection of their burgers on the high-gloss menus, all come with their overly salted "bottomless fries." They have a wide selection of other items, including salads and entrees, but the emphasis here is on the burgers. I really like Ruby's for the salad bar, which I think hasn't changed in ten years. It's the same stuff at every restaurant, not that it isn't a fresh alternative to the usual cole slaw and french fry side items at other places. Drinks are refillable and I really liked my Ruby's Tea. What bothers me is the cost. I think $2.99 is way too expensive for a drink, especially since I only had it refilled once! Oy! It's casual dining with a very full selection at the bar. Would I come here again? Sure. Consistency is nice sometimes. I can't find a thing wrong to say about the place, but it's just not a "five stars" restaurant.

Environment: A little too dim for my taste, but light enough to see my food. Service: Friendly and welcoming staff. Our server was Brad and he was very pleasant and quick to answer questions honestly. Food: Hot and very tasty. Steak was cooked to perfection. However, the salad bar wasn't so fresh. Some of the salads were crusting and browning. After mentioning this to Brad, they changed out some of the salad dishes immediately, which I really appreciated. Important: Complimentary deserts were served in place of the disappointing salad bar. I shall return, and with friends.

Food was horrible and service was worse. Only decent thing was the salad bar. I have been to Rubys before and it has never been as bad as this one.

Nice clean restaurant with great service. The best thing here is a very nice fresh salad bar. Might not be the biggest selection but you can get your money's worth just in the very tasty potato salad. I had the Louisiana Shrimp with fried zucchini. Shrimp was good and the fried zucchini was great. My wife had the Chicken Bella and was very pleased with it. My opinion is that prices overall are a tad high compared to restaurants of this type. Better than some, not as good as others.
