If you are tired of fried food and burgers...Boneheads is a breath of fresh air. They specialize in seafood but also have chicken for the kids. When I say seafood, I am not talking about fried shrimp and catfish...rather, I am talking about nice fillet of fish like Ahi, Grouper, and other deep sea favorites at family meal prices. Just awesome. Very casual and relaxed environment. A must try!

Enjoyed the half off HH price for apps. The Fried Zucchini was scrumptious! The Hummus trio was yummy but came out with mostly tiny broken pita chips. Salads were yummy, if a bit skimpy. Daughter got the Hawaiian Chicken skewers & really liked it. Hubby ordered Australian Bass & grilled corn & it was just 'eh'. Chicken tacos were good, not great. Other Daughter is vegan and there were plenty of good options. Her favorite was the grilled sweet potato. Would give it another try if we had a location near us.

Definitely will be back. Had the chicken breast and sweet potatoes. Husband had the Tuna Steak and zucchini. Both were yum. Would like to see an option of corn tortillas instead of just flour. (Gluten Sensitivity) Lots of menu items that we will be back to try.

I love this place, i have been there twice within the same week and their quality of food is awesome. We had their Appetizer Shrimp and the boneless chicken breast is pretty good and it's consistent with their fries as side. I would always encourage people to this place.

I have gone back and had the mahi mahi which was really tasty. I opted again for the zucchini but this time requested they leave off the seasoning. I liked it so much better. I have yet to go for dinner or happy hour but I know they have one and sometimes live music (might be a warm weather patio thing however)

Definitely a fan of this place. Great place to grab a quick meal with several options if you're looking to stay on the healthier side. The multiple options for grilled fish is nice and at a great price point for what you get. I've had several now and the mahi-mahi with the pineapple salsa is hard to beat. Grilled zucchini is a little heavy on the seasoning but still not a bad choice. Order at the counter and get a number for your table, really casual. They have a few beer options so you can grab a drink, but not much to excite the craft beer connoisseur or aspiring microbrewer.

This place is awesome!! The Veteran who owns this place isn't just any vet either. He was a Colonel in the Army who served in Iraq and dedicated 30 years of his life to the Army. If you go in take some time to appreciate the awards he has displayed on his wall. The food is out of this world! 11.99 for ahi tuna is incredible! The environment is friendly and everyone who works there really makes you feel like home. I'm a veteran myself and was in town visiting family for Christmas. This place was so good we had to go twice before I have to fly home to California. Keep it up brother! This place is awesome! Hooah!!

The food here was kind of unique. The piri-piri pepper sauce was their signature. It varies in degrees of hotness. I got the Piri-Piri chicken and I asked for the hottest sauce. I didn't think it was that hot, but my wife thought it was really hot. I tried my brother-in-laws catfish, and I must say that it was the best catfish I've had in Bentonville. Very fresh and crispy. My son really enjoyed the kids fried shrimp. My wife enjoyed her fish tacos as well. One of the few places that proudly boasts a veteran, active military, and police/firefighter discount. There aren't enough people that do that in my opinion.

This fast casual chain restaurant deserves a revisit. I had the fried catfish sandwich and it was easily the best I've ever had. They have a very large selection of dishes for the spicy lovers and everyone else. The side salad on my dish was fresh with a nice combination of items that made it miles better than your run-of-the-mill iceberg lettuce type of salads. My daughter had the fried shrimp meal which reminded her of the bang bang shrimp from bonefish. she was happy with what she ordered. They even have 1 or 2 vegetarian dishes so there is no need to only order side dishes if you don't eat meat (I wonder if many vegetarians even do this). The seasoned fries that came with my kids dishes were perfectly cooked and seasoned and I will make an effort to come back to try other items on the menu. From the mixed reviews, it looks like some of the dishes may not be as good as the one I ordered. I will be updating my review after I come back. They have a fairly large selection of seafood items compared to most other american cuisine restaurants.

My family and I love this place! Our food has always been well prepared and delicious. We LOVE the soda machine! The staff are very courteous, helpful and personable. The business is very community minded. We will keep going here for sure!

Epic failure. Improperly seasoned shrimp with the sauce missing, bland rice out if a box, under done zucchini plus the mushroom burger was Ames. Mushrooms were almost raw, to heavy on Piri save for soggy bun plus a cheap frozen patty like you buy at the grocery store plus over salted/seasoned bag fries. The only perk was the soda dispenser with flavored Canada Dry. The cole slaw was the worst sour slaw I have ever had. It tasted rancid. No clear path to exit. The cashier didn't even know the menu and I ordered the featured item

So I REALLY wanted to like this place. As a recent transplant from San Diego I have been hunting for a local seafood place that can compare. But this is not it unfortunately. I ordered the grilled salmon with piri piri mushrooms and the cilantro slaw on the side. The salmon was undercooked and incredibly salty (and I usually like we'll salted food). When I mentioned it to the waiter he asked me if I had eaten salmon before (rude!) - the manager was very generous, came over apologized and brought me a new piece without me even asking. The second piece was cooked well and not nearly as salty - so I am guessing the salt was probably the mushrooms (?). The coleslaw was ok, heavy on the sesame oil and light on the cilantro, but decent. The fish portions were a nice size, and my husband said that although his Mahi Mahi was also salty (he had the mushrooms as well) the fish was perfectly cooked. All-in-all the food wad dissapointing but the customer service wash good - the manager was generous and did his best to make it right. I will probably give it another try and ask for LIGHTLY seasoned fish without mushrooms and see how it goes.

It's nice to have a new location for fresh cooked food in Bentonville. It's very casual, order at a counter. Food is brought to your table on a real plate. Very friendly staff and clean. Prices higher than fast food but to me it's worth it to have food freshly grilled. The menu is mostly grilled fish and chicken. I had tilapia with black bean salsa and my side was grilled zucchini. Cooked perfect and good spices. Now if you are from a big city or either coast it isn't comparable (kind of like thinking you can find west coast Mexican food in Arkansas-lol). But I think it's a good choice if you want something easier than a formal restaurant but not fast food.

Food was average or slightly better than average. Where this place is lacking is customer service, which is disappointing for a new restaurant in town. Went with another family and our two kids. Our son wanted fried shrimp. None of the kids meals offered fried shrimp so my wife asked if we could substitute shrimp for chicken for an up-charge. Their solution was to recommend a $12 adult fried shrimp meal for an 8 year old. Yes, really. Then we asked about grilled fish for the other child in the party. We were told they don't do grilled anymore, only fried. Anymore? Hasn't this place only been open a few months?! Food was good. We won't be back with the kids. Honestly I'll probably just buy some of the sauce and go get a rotisserie chicken from Sams Club and make the same thing at home for a fraction of the price.

If you are looking for a tasty casual dining experience this place is great. I am a big fan of the Ahi Tuna (rare). And for your side, you have to get the grilled zucchini!!! The sweet potatoes are a close second. The food is excellent, and it's a good healthy alternative to typical American fare. And a meal will run you about $12.

Grouper was awesome! My gf really liked her grilled chicken as well. Definitely gonna be back!

Excellent casual dining. Out of the ordinary flavor profile, with unique toppings for grilled or fried fish or chicken. I got to enjoy grilled Grouper, an unusual offering that was perfectly prepared. Highly recommended.

Not good at all. We had three people, three different meals, not one happy with food. Very blah, no frills, no good food. You would think the fish tacos were made out of a taco kit from the grocery store. Horrible tortillas. Not returning.

Delicious Food! I moved to Arkansas from the northeast about a year ago, and this is my best meal yet. I had the Mahi Mahi with grilled sweet potatoes, rice, beans and corn. The Mahi Mahi was juicy and fresh, and the grilled sweet potatoes were outrageous. I love fish but it's hard to get it fresh especially in Northwest Arkansas. This is a gem!

I had the piri piri mushroom burger. Love the grass fed beef which tasted good. Bun was very dry and firm which doesn't work well with very lean beef. Sweet potato fries were fine but would be better with a dipping sauce. Shrimp appetizer was tasty. The atmosphere was odd and the music was creepy in my husbands words. He wanted to leave because of it!! Good music but using a sound effect that wasn't enjoyable to us. His catfish was good. Fries nothing special. All in all we don't care to return.

Perfectly grilled mahimahi with pineapple salsa on REAL rice with grilled zucchini and grilled asparagus... What's not to love?... Also tasted the piripiri mushrooms as well as the fried calamari and fried zucchini medallions. So fresh and perfectly cooked... Reasonable prices, generous portions and great service. I was delightfully suprised as I had expected typical chain food. This place is a gem!

We stopped in based on reviews on Yelp. I had the tilapia fish sandwich and it was excellent. My wife had the shrimp dinner. Her comment was "we are coming back here again". Looking forward to trying the grilled sea bass in the future.

I've been here for lunch and dinner, and the food has been excellent. It's a very nice addition to NWA restaurant options with a casual atmosphere and really neat assortment of dishes. Makes me think about dishes i've had on south florida and the Caribbean.

My hubby and I took our kiddos here for a meal last week...BIG mistake. First of all there is NO indication that this is a fast food type of place...So it was a little awkward to be standing there staring at the menu like we were. And the girl at the register didn't even know anything about the meals or what came on them!!!!..We ordered a kids meal for my 6 & 7 year old and what we got was two pieces of grilled fish the size of minnows and a cold bowl of black beans and corn. My hubby ordered a beer and they never brought it out, I had to go and remind her and then she spilled a quarter of it on my hands...There was ZERO flavor to the fish and everything was bland. Also our meals were $14.00 each and didn't even come with a drink??? To top it off there was a little blonde girl fixing her hair right by the window where the food comes out and drinking her pop while standing over our food....that was disgusting...We won't waste our time here again...By the way one the "great" reviews on here are from the employees. SO disappointed with this place. Never again.
