We had the lunch buffet on Saturday & it was yummy! Although they serve Indian food, they're strengths are their Pakistani dishes. They nailed the Nihari - I can't believe I'm saying this but it rivaled some of the offerings from Chicago (yes, I'm talking about Sabri Nihari for those in the know). The Liver offering was a pleasant surprise but the execution could've been better. The chicken biryani, korma and tandoori were delicious too! Something about Pakistanis knowing non-vegetarian cooking better than anyone else! The spices and the texture of the meats were spot on. We ordered a variety of samosas (keema, mutton & veggie) to go and they didn't dissapoint either. Note, however, these samosas aren't the typical Indian ones (i.e. with flakey crusts & mashed spiced potato fillings). I spent sometime in the Middle East and I know the Aroma samosas were as good as those (if not better). Finally, while they offer a vareity of vegetarian Indian dishes...these need a little more effort on their part to get them to match the flavors/spices expected at a 'typical' Indian buffet. All in all...a gem of a find in NW Arkansas. Meat eaters will not be dissapointed.

My husband and I have eaten here more than once. Yes the decor is very simple and the older man at the counter is some what rude but our expirences with the food have been great. We love the food here. Very fresh each time. We have not eaten from the buffet. We order from the menu each time and it's been fantastic each time.

I used to be a regular to this place.. The food was and still is home-style.. This time when I was here for a dinner buffet, I found no vegetarian food on their buffet menu. Just a bean salad and desserts. The lady wasn't one bit apologetic and the waitress speaks broken English was no help when placing my a la carte order. My friend who had the buffet didn't get the 'free' samosa. When I spoke to the owner he said he plans to add a vegetarian dish to the buffet menu. Seems like they dropped off the number of veggie dishes since they were being wasted by people and he had to "bear" its losses. I wouldn't pay for a buffet with just a veggie dish.. The food might taste good but bitter experience this one..

When my husband and I walked in only one person was dining at 1pm today we thought about leaving but a Indian lady came out greeted us and offers us a table and our experience was amazing. The waiter was get helpful in ordering! We will definitely be back for more amazing food!

Went in for lunch today, we were literally the only people in the restaurant at noon. no buffet, ordered off the menu. Service was terrible. asked for chicken tikka masala, which wasn't on the menu but waitress said they had - it was terrible. Sauce was bitter, chicken was dry and seemed old. Chicken came out w/no rice, had to request it. (What no basmati!?) Food came out w/spoons and no forks. When we asked for a box and the bill, got the box only. Had to track the staff down inside the kitchen to get the bill.

Acceptable Indian food, but not worth going back to, with all the new Indian restaurants in Bentonville. All buffet, all the time; not much for vegetarians on the menu. Service is almost nonexistent. Cost when I was there in 2012, about $10 per person for the buffet, with a basic self-service drink dispenser.

We ate here after a friend recommended it. He must have had the location mixed up with another place because it was awful!!! - Service was very bad. Our waitress couldn't tell us what was good. She actually had never eaten there. First clue (should have left). - Had the buffet special that came with a drink but all they had was water. (still charged us full price) - Very, Very basic inside. Only 7 tables. - The food was awful!! Actually went to Ruby Tuesdays afterwards. Cornell

This was my first time ever eatng at this restaurant. I ordered the Mutton Biriyani and enjoyed it. It was spiced enough to be noticeable, which fit my preferences.

I would give it 2.5 stars if that was an option, but since I keep coming back for lunch, I'd feel stupid to give it less than 3 stars. I'll go on record as not a super-experienced Indian food lover. Yet, I've had some in several major markets in the US, so I at least have something to compare to. I have only eaten the lunch buffet here, and have not done dinner. After seeing how lunch goes, I probably would not, because I typically look for a little ambiance and SERVICE with dinner and I'm 99% sure that would not occur here. If you go in at lunch expecting exactly this - you will not be disappointed: * A Mom&Pop buffet where Pop is the grouchy old man who just takes your money. (I could point out he chats with all the Indian men who frequent there and doesn't even say 'hello' or 'thank you' to me. I mean, would it kill you just to be friendly when I'm paying money to be in your establishment? But I digress...) * Buffet is not unlike what you could set up in your home in terms of crock-pots, dishes, etc. * There is NO SERVICE. None. You will not be acknowledged, your drinks will not be filled, your dirty plates will not be cleared. Self Service at its max. What you will get is some pretty decent Indian dishes. There is always one really awesome chicken dish that I enjoy - Chicken Tikka, or Pepper Chicken or Chicken quorma, and then I dig into the masoor, okra, cauliflower, eggplant, etc. The dishes are replenished small portions at a time, which is better tasting and a safer way to approach a small buffet, so I appreciate that. They do have the great condiments as well as chai spiced tea and a soda machine. Buffet is $11, drink is included. I can understand how those accustomed to good Indian food would be disappointed, as the spinach saag is way too watery, the tandoori chicken is only somewhat ok, but obviously not of the true clay oven quality. The biggest disappointment - the breads! I'm sorry, naan and roti out of a package makes them almost not worth bothering with. They were the highlight of my last great Indian food meal in Chicago. (Note to self: Indian food next time I'm in a city known for some great Indian restaurants. This place merely scratches a little itch for awhile.)

We go there quite often for dinner. The only South Asian restaurant in Northwest Arkansas that actually serves a reasonably priced buffet which includes appetizers, drinks and tea for dinner. I think people who don't like it, the basic reason is that it is not a fancy restaurant. The food is average-good quality. It is genuine Pakistani food, which is essentially slightly different from Indian food. To keep the price low, service is minimum. Recently the restaurant has changed its out look, seperated veggie and non-veg sections and improved seating arrangement. They have now started serving South Asian breakfast on weekends, which is great. It is not as fancy as Indian Orchard or some American restaurants. The owner is a very decent man, however he is usually busy in work and polite but not overly friendly. Also, I had some visitors who visited from Pakistan, and taste wise they liked this restaurant better than Indian Orchard, Chutneys or Taj palace.

I love Indian food, eaten at 30+ indian restaurants and have been to India twice. I don't really care how fancy or gross a restaurant looks. I came in looking for Kheer to-go. I asked if they had it on the menu, the gentleman said YES and promptly went to get a togo container, walked over to the buffet and grabbed a few scoops full. I was charged a bit over +-$3.60, a fair price for Kheer. I got home, it was room temp and had glass noodles not grains of rice in it. It was gross, I actually spit out the bite that I ate. I have made Kheer a few times and it was quite good. This was uneatable. I will never go her again. Think that my 1 star review is harsh? The man wasn't really friendly, the place was plain at best- leaning towards gross. One would think that in a sad strip mall they would WELCOME everyone that comes in here. They will never get my business and I hope they don't get yours.

Maybe they're nicer to people of Indian or Pakistani descent, but every time I've been there the service has been very bad. I haven't visited them since 2010, but I ate there several times, and I actually turned them into the health inspector. They were butchering chicken on the trash can, the kitchen looked filthy, and the food on the buffet wasn't even close to being up to proper serving and holding temperature. I avoid this place like the plague, especially when places like Taj and Chutney's are nearby.

My sister spent two years in Pakistan and goes to college nearby, so when we visited town I took her over here. I don't mind the bare-bones atmosphere, after all, it's nicer than most of the restaurants I went to IN Pakistan! I care about the food. The food was decent. I was unimpressed by the naan, but the warm chapati was sufficient for scooping up curry. I enjoyed most of the main dishes and the biriyani. The service couldn've been a bit more timely though. Several dishes ran out and we'd have to wait for things to be refilled. We waited for the chai to be refilled as well, but even when it was they didn't notice that the sugar bowl was also empty. Little details like that do matter. Decent spot, but could use a little improvement.

This is the only Indian restaurant that I know of in this area. I got some food to go and it was pretty good. Food - I tried the chicken Korma, Cauilflower Vegetable, Yellow Dal, Chicken Biryani, Chick Pea Curry. Biryani was a little sad but the curries and the bread were good. Prices - Watch out for the prices - For all this it costed me around 50 bucks, which is a little pricey for the portions. Its much more reasonable if you eat there and not get it to-go as they have lunch and dinner buffet. Ambience - Very basic but clean.

I had heard from several people how great this food was. Went for lunch with a friend. Buffet had several pans empty. No bread. When waiting in line to pay, I saw someone putting frozen naan and microwaving it! Food was awful! Service--none! I usually give a place 3 tries before I mark them off the list. Not this time. They smooched the pooch! Would have preferred a frozen Indian dish!

Since this is the only option for Desi food in town, it wouldn't have to be great to have a huge draw; but it is. They feature mostly the hearty north Indian fare, so your pleas for dosa will fall on deaf ears for now ;) Mutton Biryani is definitely my favorite dish here. It is rich, tons of spicy flavor, and a generous portion. Topped with a little chutney, it's just what the doctor ordered. To Ai's point, ordering ala-carte can add up, BUT, one entree and rice is plenty for dinner. Also, the buffet is only ten bucks, so it's a bit lower than other local buffets. Syed the owner is great, and the people that work there are cool and friendly. Atmosphere is spare but functional and clean.

I have eaten here for the lunch buffet twice now and have enjoyed every dish. I think the Pakistani influence makes this a bit different than other Indian restaurants. What this place calls Roti, I would call Naan. I tried the Cauliflower Vegetable, Yellow Dal, Egg Curry (a whole hard boiled egg in curry sauce), Spinach Paneer, Okra, and Vegetable Biryani. There were other dishes but I don't recall their names. Each time there were at least five vegetarian dishes and four meat dishes. The spices were just right for each dish. This is a serve yourself buffet including the drinks. The price for the buffet is $10. Nothing fancy here, just good food.

Food was quite good, love the egg curry. The naan is a huge disappointment most of the items are very good. I have eaten here a few times and pretty much the same items on buffet every time. Would recommend to others but will be seeking out new places to get some variety.

The main reason I give only THREE STARS is because the atmosphere is all wrong. Well, the decor isn't much to look at. It looks like a very small school cafeteria. Very bare. I would recommend painting the walls to cover up the bright white reflective surface from the standard overhead office cool white fluorescent lighting. That said, bet better lighting. Some mood music would also enhance the setting. I could do wonders with this place for less than a $100, and cause anyone who visited to come back. The main reason??? The food is excellent. The people are very genuine and friendly. Try the buffet. At first, it appears that it's not anything to look at, but it turns out to be exceptionally delicious. Don't be surprised by the website(s) either. There are two of them, but the one that also lists Chicken Masala is the accurate one.

The service this night is slow- a snails pase- but come to find out everything is made to order- we ordered a combo of things from a simple looking menu, witch makes it easy to figure out for the first time indian food eater. The place was very clean, an the waiter was very nice. The food was the best, well worth the wait! Great value for your dollar- take a date here!

We went there for a Friday night dinner. They don't serve buffet anymore. They have a combo option by which we can choose one Briyani one snack and a soft drink. The Briyani wasn't tasting good and the snack they served was eatable but very oily. So overall it wasn't worth the money. I'd rather try some buffet option. The above review is for the vegetarian stuff at aroma.
