The military eat free appreciation brunch requires you to get a player's club card first. This bit of information should be added to the advertisement. Misleading. Hope the food is worth the wait for this club card.

I do love slot machine gambling, and can say that the inside of this place does feel like a "real" casino. They did a great job with the remodel!! I have heard that the hotel is one of the nicest in the state as well, as is the Fire restaurant. However, the casino games that they offer here don't do a lot for me. Last time we went on a Friday night, and it was absolutely miserable. There were so many people that you couldn't even find a machine. The clientele here (which tends to be people who go to spend their paycheck in hopes of winning the jackpot) tends to be a downer too. Very few people look like they are even having fun. We have never really won that much here before, but one of our friends tends to do well. All in all, not a bad place to spend a little time, but could be so much better.

I have been to this casino many times. For Alabama.,.. its nice. However, I usually go on a saturday night. This time, I went on a friday night......... I guess everyone got paid. It was very crowded. I sat at this one machine that was empty and some lady started screaming at me saying I stole her machine. I got up.... since when can you save a machine.... yes, it had a card in it but people leave there card in machines all the time. I have never experienced such rude people...... seriously... save your money and go to vegas.... unless you are just dying to go gambling and lose money.

We had a blast, the bar tenders and cocktail staff were exceptional , especially Judy at the bar and Katherine on the floor, very prompt and personable. The slots were on our side, we came out on top for the weekend, hitting big 4 times. Paying $17 for the buffet, we were expecting something better than what was offered. Over all we had a great experience and will absolutely be back.

First off this is a good casino. Slot machines only but still very gamer friendly with decent chances of coming out a winner if you know how to quit while you're ahead. The hotel portion is great and the bathrooms are fantastic! Very friendly hotel staff as well. If you're coming for the first time, remember to ask for guides to dining and service options, it'll make your visit much easier. The Buffet was also fantastic! Food was delicious and the price was very reasonable for the varieties of food that you get. And there's also quick, cheaper options for eating on the go or bringing food back to your room. While they do offer valet parking, their parking deck is designed well so that you'll never really have to walk an unreasonable distance to your car. Tip: get as many of your party to sign up for the players club because they give great freebies with membership

Wind Creek Casino Staff, I would like to personally THANK the entire staff working in the Buffet area of the Casino. It was my first time visiting Wind Creek and unfortunately misplaced my Iphone and wallet. The staff working (memorial day 2015) went above and beyond to make sure my items were in safe keeping. Upon returning to the restaurant, the staff welcomed and assured me that my items were safe! Mind you this was after closing and they were extremely gracious! I can not express my gratitude! I plan to return to Wind Creek Casino. Thanks again for going above and beyond!

Poor excuse for a casino... only slot machines. Reeks of cigarette smoke from the floor all the way to the parking garage. Tried to go enjoy the military buffet in the restaurant with our children and the extremely rude security staff wouldn't let us through even though we had no intention of doing any gambling with our children in tow. I will not return.

All bingo based. You get some free rolls here and there on quick hits... Good casino if you win...bad if you lose... If you order liquor, you barely get a half a shot.

This is my first time visiting since the major remodel. It's head and shoulders above the cesspool it used to be. Still a little smoky for my taste, but much better than before. There are plenty of machines and they even let you order your cocktails from your game, which is a bonus. The only problem is that on Sundays they do not serve alcohol...at all. Womp, womp, womp. There are a few restaurants, but the veterans recommended the buffet over the steakhouse. The buffet includes the standard fare: soup, salad, BBQ ribs, pulled pork, mac and cheese, fried seafood, prime rib, crab legs and dessert bar. It was a decent value at $24.95. Everyone in my party won, so we'd definitely go again.

The worst service... This casino only has slot machines. You have to play 5.00 first to get service for the bar and it takes 45 mins to get service. I spoke with a VERY unprofessional "Supervisor" by the name for Lafreda Braxton that stated she couldn't help with any service. She also went out of her way to STOP any of the other staff from serving us. We had no idea why this lady was being so rude and unprofessional towards us. I'm now waiting to hear from her boss to report the VERY UNPROFESSIONAL service that we received. I would NEVER return.

I love the Backstage Buffet, it has a large selection of items so whatever you are in the mood for they will have. They have a carving station, veggie bar, Mexican bar, dessert bar and impeccable service. Selection varies by lunch or dinner and days visited. The drink is included in price which I thought was a nice bonus as compared to Ryans or Golden Corral. I thought they were going to have outside seating for spring or summer, but doesn't seem so. The view is very nice overlooking the Coosa River. I will go again.

Well they took my advice from my earlier review of Riverside Entertainment Center (the previous name and location of this place). THEY EXPANDED! ;and boy did they expand. This place rivals Mississippi casinos now. My Love and I went yesterday for his birthday and the people are friendlier, the drinks served out faster, the payouts pretty good, the buffet was not quite as good as Silver Star but they had Oxtails. I have never had one, didn't even know they cooked such things... so, as my character is, I HAVE to try everything once, especially something as weird as Oxtails. OMG delicious. I am really surprised Bourdain, Man Vs Food or Zimmerin has not told me of these. I will go back to Wetumpka just for one(2 or 3) Oxtails. The pool is beautiful with 3 hot tubs and the most extravagant cabanas I have ever seen for $50 a day rental. I have a free room and I plan on using it soon for MY birthday. Well worth the trip there. Great!!!

Went to the casino buffet twice. The first time was about a week after it had opened...yuck! It was not very good. The food was dried out and tasted rather old. The dessert table all tasted like it had been frozen prior. Nothing tasted fresh. Gave them one more chance about a month later.....they will never get anymore of my money!! I would be afraid of food poisoning. The oysters were stacked at least a foot above the ice. No way they could have stayed safe to eat. The roast beef looked like a chunk of raw meat on a cutting board. It looked like it had been sitting there for some time. The food was not hot. Nothing tasted freshly made. We complained to a manager and he did not show much concern. Just said he would talk to the chef and he walked out into the casino. So it seems as though they don't care.
