I can't say enough good things about China Garden in Wetumpka. The food is always SO good and the service is SO friendly and the price is SOOO doable!! Me and my wife started coming here 5 years ago this year, back when we were just friends of friends in high school. Then dating, then engaged, now married bringing our son. What a love story right?! It's amazing what Chinese food can do! Anyways, the buffet is typically what we get. there's all your typical Chinese chicken options, to name a few: sesame chicken, General Tso chicken, black pepper chicken and the delicious chicken and broccoli in that brown sauce. Fried rice and vegetable low mein. A few odd seafood things I've yet to try (haha). Egg roll, Vietnam roll, crab rangoon, French fries, chicken wings, Asian meatballs on a stick. Egg drop soup, sweet and sour soup and the red sauce you dip those breaded chicken pieces in. Desert bar with Jell-O's, puddings and bananas in red sweet sauce, Chinese doughnuts, etc. They also have a menu you can order from. The food is slightly different and 'better' quality. The chicken is breaded a little more and the noodles are slightly fresher and soup is gotten off the buffet line. It seems to be a family ran thing, mom and dad own it, dad does most of the cooking and mom does a lot of bussing and filling of the buffet and the son works the front checkout counter along with bussing diligently. Over the last 5 years we've established quite a relationship with them and they are all so very nice. I called in to order take out and my wife went in to pick it up, she said "hey my husban--" and the son cut her off "yes I know his voice, it's here!". Such nice people. The floor is always cleaned, buffet is always stocked and hot, the tables are always clean, bathrooms are clean and the buffet line itself is kept very clean. When ordering off the menu, the food is brought very quickly. Admittedly, is this 5 star Asian cuisine? Nope... It's better in my opinion! My wife and I love P.f. Changs' lettuce wraps and we've mutually agreed China Garden is light years better. If you get the chance stop by and give it a try. It's typical 'under $10 Chinese buffet' food, but it's damn good and worthy of so much more business than it gets.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
