I went for lunch and had a long wait due to large school group. Upon being seated, the waiter showed me what to order to get my meal fast. I picked one and the meal was brought out almost immediately. Beef burrito, hard taco, and something else that I didn't know the name of. It was like a smaller burrito. It was good as was the complimentary chips and salsa.

Really enjoyed the food. The salsa was great, our server was very nice, and the food was awesome and so filling. I got the fajita chicken quesadilla and my husband got the ultimate buritto. We really enjoyed them.

If you keep an eye on your server, wave them down for your every need and don't mind flat beer, this is a decent place. You'd be better off bringing your own beer to the taco bell. The carne asada is okay, if you drink enough. Steer clear of this place.

When I see someone using his mouth to open the salt & pepper shakers to refill them, I just assume not try the food.

Happen to drive by, not from this area. The chips and salsa were awesome. I had nachoes and they were really good. The server was very good. They have a full bar I you are wanting a beer or drink. Would definitely recommend.

This is my favorite mexican restaurant in Mobile. It is located at Bel Air mall next to Target. The lighting/mood is better than most mexican restaurants in the area, IMO. My fiance and I love to split the fajita nachos, half chicken and half steak (have to ask) and they are the best! They also have the cheapest margaritas, $1 everyday for on the rocks and they are very good.

I think I may be nice in giving it two stars. Like someone else said, the chips came out in a stainless steel bowl that looks like my dogs bowl. Really weird. My husband got the shredded beef chimichanga. It was alright but nothing special. I got the ground beef tacos...with salt. A LOT of salt. It was horrible. I ate one of three. My husband, who loves salt, even thought it had too much salt. He didn't want them either. The service was awful. We went at 3:00 on a Sunday afternoon when there were two or three more families there. Our waiter quickly took our order and brought our drinks. It didn't take long to get the food either. But that was it. We never got refills of our drinks. He never came to see if we needed anything. In the end, we flagged down another waiter who brought us to go cups and told us he would get our waiter to bring our check. Our waiter walked by our table again, went to the one next to us and began taking their order. While he was talking to them, he leaned over and handed our bill to my husband. Of course he didn't say anything to us, he was taking the order at the other table! We definitely weren't fans. We won't be back.

This is a very good Mexican restaurant, despite that it's in a terrible mall. The meal started with chips and salsa. The chips were good but not that much salt. The salsa was spicy which is normal, but I don't like spicy. I got 3 chicken tacos but it was so filling that I only ate 2 out of 3 and ate the last one at the hotel. We got a WHOLE LOT of food and it was only $30, which I would call very good. So overall this is a good restaurant, and we were gone in a half hour so the service was very fast, and the waiter was very friendly.

The food is only okay. I didn't like the beef burrito at all, the meat tasted not like beef. I tried the chicken chalupa and chicken quesadilla and they were good, except that the sauce they use on the burrito is the same for the chalupa and I didn't like that. The chips they served was in a stainless steel bowl that looks like the one I use for my dog. lol! I thought that was kind of weird. One thing is for certain though. My server was Paul C. and he was excellent! He was very attentive and I'd recommend asking for his station if he's there.

Best Mexican food in town in my opinion. Great service, food was awesome, margaritas were great (not that powdered stuff I had at a different Mecican restaurant I ate at in town). Highly recommend and I'll be back next time I'm in town.

The chicken fajitas are the best in Mobile. And the chicken quesadilla is always great. I work in the mall and it seems like the owner is in the restaurant daily. So if you have not eaten here before, or if you stopped eating there for one reason or another, I would try it out again. The food is always fresh and the service is excellent.

Very much like the other Mexican places in the area - same menu, same prices, same decor. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat there, but if I happen to be at the mall during lunch hour again, I wouldn't mind eating there.

Another generic Americanized joint in Mobile. Not one of the better ones at it too. Tried their "Crazy Burrtio". It was very salty. Bad location too. Its on the back side of Bel Air Mall so if you weren't going to the Target, you'd probably wouldn't know the place existed. Been to places a lot better then this one.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
