Molto bene!!! I recently stopped here with my wife for lunch and was completely blown away by the hospitality and the quality of the food! I had the Chicken Parmigiana, and it was the best I've had since I visited Little Italy in New York!! The plate was quite hot, so it was obviously served in the traditional method of finishing the plate in the oven. The sauce was tangy and well seasoned, well balanced and not overboard in the slightest. The waiter was very prompt and polite, never let our drinks go below half a glass. I will definitely be returning here again as soon as I am able!

Hands down the best Italian in Mobile! I'm never disappointed when I come here. The service is amazing, everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly, the food is so delicious! You can tell it comes from old family recipes as most everything is made in-house. My favorite dish I have had from here is the Chicken Parmesan but everything I've had from here is SO good! They also have great Philly Cheese Steaks! This is one of our regular spots. They do not serve alcohol but you can bring you're own wine. Enjoy!

We've become regular customers over the last few months. The food is great and the staff is friendly and efficient. Our favorite dishes are the seafood manicotti and eggplant parmigiana. We've tried the sandwiches, and they're good, but we much prefer their traditional Italian entrees.

This is probably the best place to eat in Mobile. We have had the pastas, cheese bread, pork, and sandwiches and everyting is delicious. The staff is great and the food is consistent. I highly recommed.

Been here many times and the food as well as the service has always been excellent. Had lunch today with a party of 10 and everything was great. Amanda was the server and she was great.

Terrible service. Only reason I gave it 2 stars is the food is good. I've been there 4 times. I've had a good experience once.

Very good food-everything I've tried has been delicious. Servings are very generous. Prices very reasonable.

My wife had the seafood manicotti, which was amazing! I had the shrimp Alfredo, which I have had numerous times before. The Alfredo was good, but did not taste like the usual. It tasted like maybe there wasn't as much Parmesan or butter/olive oil. It was still better than any other Alfredo I have had in Mobile, and I will continue to frequent Roma's.

The best lasagna in Mobile. Really friendly staff....they made us a small side of Alfredo from scratch for our free bread sticks!

Remarkably fruendly place.... an amazing contrast to the franchised service of Airport Blvd. The food is fresh, hot, and abundant. What distinguished this place is how nice the people are. You feel like they appreciate your business. If for nothing more go there to reset your standard for how you should be greeted, and served. The food is in addition excellent!

We have dined here twice. Food was very sat. Both times but service was questionable on our first visit. I will have to say that they must have got their act together because service could not have been better on second visit. They have the best pasta in Mobile IMHO.

I have to say I am impressed with the fact that they make a lot of the things from scratch and not from a can or such. A good place to take the family out when you don't feel like cooking.

Eww. The calamari was gummy. The veal parmasan was soggy, greasy and chewy. Maybe I'm just super picky because I make better at home, but I won't be back. Gross.

Sooooooo good! They get quite busy so expect a wait. Our waiter was super nice! The food was nice and hot. Way better than Olive Garden. A must try

Food and service were great! The ambiance was mediocre, but nothing unusual for a casual dining restaurant. We'll definitely return!

Soooo good! Great place! Very clean and quiet. We had the seafood manicotti and philly cheese steak- both were so good and full of flavor

This was our first visit. For an appetizer we ordered a cup of the potato soup which was the special that evening. For entrees my wife ordered the Shrimp scampi, and I ordered Chicken Parmesan. Both dinners included garlic bread and a dinner salad which had several choices of homemade dressings. The dinners were both good. The atmosphere of the dining room needs an upgrade. The walls were made of the 1970/80s panel fake brick look, which stirred up a conversion between my wife and because both of us has this in our house as we were growing up. We did not get desserts but a cannoli, cheesecake and tiramisu was on the menu. The wait staff was attentive and our drinks were constantly refilled. I give them an A for the service. The table next to us had the Philly cheesesteak that looked awesome. I may try that next time!!

I had lasagna, she had eggplant Parmesan, and we shared a slice of Italian cream cake. Everything was nicely prepared and delicious. Our server (Brandi) was friendly, offered good menu recommendations, and was prompt. Two entrees and a dessert were $35 (tax included). I'm not a big fan of Italian food, but I've no complaints about my meal here.

A true Mobile Gem! Hand made meatballs daily, and best Marinara Sauce you've ever tasted. Order the Shrimp Scampi and tell em to kick it up a notch, deeelicious! Great service, great food, an opportunity enjoy a meal with friends.

All of the food I've had here so far has been awesome! They make their own soups, so they change often, but everyone I've had has been excellent! I have to say that out of all of their dishes, their seafood manicotti is my absolute favorite! It's a great little local place that definitely makes their food with excellence.

This was our first visit here. Our food was great, and our service was good. The alfredo was delicious (I had it with shrimp, which were enormous and perfectly cooked, and my husband had it with chicken, which was tender and tasty). The portions are huge, too (definitely enough for leftovers), but mine was so good that I ate it all at the restaurant! The calamari appetizer was also good--crispy and chewy but not rubbery. The marinara sauce was also nice. Good ambiance, short wait, great food, and good service. This is our new go-to Italian place.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
