I have been there many times and it has always been excellent. We were there for a wine tasting, 4 courses and 4 wines. First was a crab spring roll done perfectly, next a salad with roasted beets and goat cheese with the right amount of balsamic dressing. The entree was grouper with buerre blanc, fresh carrots and asparagus tips neither were over cooked. Desert was a wonderful bread pudding. The wines were pronominal, Arabella Viogner, Resurrection Pinot Noir, Peju Tess (which I ordered 4 bottles) and Sanque de Guida. M & J wines always supplies the best wines. Service was wonderful. We had 40 people and the food was always hot and timely. Congrats!!!

3.5 stars for lunch. They have not convinced me yet to come down for dinner service. Definitely an improvement from 1.5 yrs ago. I heard that there's a new chef in the kitchen. The service is very good. The ambiance is very good. Drink and wine list - good. As for food, it's definitely better than what I experienced a while back but still somewhat of a hit and miss -- crabcake sliders are over seasoned with some type of Cajun seasoning blend, the salmon with veggies is your good old farm raised salmon, small portion (4 oz I guess), reuben sandwich is ok, nothing to write home about, the side of fries is very good, the salad with fried oysters is delicious but small (I am not a heavy eater, neither are my friends who dine with me). It certainly deserves support as it continues to try to be better.

We came to this restaurant solely for the entertainment...our favorite, Lisa Mills was playing along with another band we had not heard of. Lisa was great as usual! We had high expectations for the restaurant after reading info on its website. It is beautiful inside and out. However, the food and service were severely lacking. We had to wave down one of the many waiters to order. Chicken was not cooked thoroughly, turkey slices were spoiled, lettuce was wilted, croutons were stale. The manager came to our table, apologized and comped our entrees and offered more drinks. We really appreciated that.

Ambience is nice and inviting. It was easy to get a reservation. Host person was welcoming. It was clean. Our dinner at Legacy went downhill quickly from there. Our server was not familiar with the menu. After we ordered our dinner upon his recommendation, he returned to inform us it was out. What we ended up ordering was average and completely overpriced for what it is. Dessert was also bad. It looked/ tasted like it was bought from elsewhere. Not fresh. I could see this place thriving as a happy hour/ BOGO or same category as one of these family friendly big chain type of places at much lower price range. Go elsewhere if you are looking to enjoy carefully prepared meal and memorable evening.

Service was excellent. Food was amazing! The menus light up when you open them. If this place was in Atlanta it'll clearly be in the top 10. I came here for an amazing business dinner but the tuna tartare and red snapper had me in heaven!

I went there on a Friday night. It wasn't too crowded, but it took forever to get service. We ordered the Tempura Shrimp appetizer and you can tell it was frozen food that had been fried. For the price you spend here, you would think it will be freshly made. I also ordered the ribeye and creamed spinach. The ribeye was nice. The creamed spinach was like spinach in a bowl of watery cheese. You can tell that the spinach had been frozen and just reheated, because it was way too soupy. The only bight spot is the atmosphere. I enjoyed the music, but service and food preparation swayed me me too never go back. Definitely not impressed and definitely not worth the price.

The food here is amazing! They are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. The service was impeccable and the ambiance is fantastic. My favorite item has to be the crab cake. It is the BEST I've ever had! And believe me, I've had them at almost every restaurant that I've been to that serves them. No one compares to theirs. I would highly recommend this place for a romantic date or a special celebration.

Enjoyed an evening here on Opera Night. Heads up - full menu is not served on Opera Night, only appetizer menu. Not a problem. The crab cakes were divine, the music was OUTSTANDING, (great talent!!!) but I'm not giving 5 stars because the staff treated us like an intrusion in their lives rather than valued guests. When we could get a server's attention, he was brusque or condescending. The night was great, because of the food, the friends, and the music. Not the people.

Geez, after reading through the other reviews, all I can think of is how some of you make a tough crowd! My guy and I had a beautiful date night here last night - thank you to our server Erica for wonderful service, friendly conversation, and sharing your knowledge about the menu. Everything we ate was delicious - from the soup of the day to the wedge salad to the lamb chops and berkshire pork and tableside bananas foster for dessert (!!). Yum! So nice to know there is creative, fresh, quality food to be found in Mobile. I tend to get spoiled in San Francisco but Legacy didn't disappoint :) Thanks! Going to heat up the leftovers for lunch now.

We had the most wonderful experience tonight at Legacy. Our server Erin was wonderful as well as the rest of the staff. The food and wine were all suck a to detail surprise. From the lamb to the blackened tuna to the moist crab cakes--yum!

We have visited Legacy numerous times and have always had a good time. But I had my wife"s 50th birthday party there and it was wonderful. The ambience was excellent, the 4 course meal was excellent also although there were a few person's in my party who said their ribeye was not excellent but just alright but I know how to eat a steak (very pink). The staff was great and very friendly but they always are. Everyone in Legacy comingled excellent afterwards also.

This was OK. I was excited to find a place with tapas - my favorite way to eat. The food was tasty, but I felt unimpressed by the lack of imagination the menu offered. The food also took way too long. For me, I left confused. This touts being a "bar and grill" but the prices are pretty high and the wait is more in line with the price tags associated with the menu choices. It just seemed like a place with an identity crisis (emphasis on "crisis"). Once you make up your mind on who you want to be when you grow up I will be back.

I bought a living social for this place, and finally got around to checking them out for dinner. I arrived and there was a live band playing jazz music. On a Tuesday. If I had been sitting at the bar, I really would have enjoyed that. I was quite impressed by the level of service and food quality at this place. There are some gimmicky twists - like LED lighted menus (which are sorta blinding...) and small pillow chairs for women to place their purses on (so they don't have to sit on the floor). The food and wine menus had a lot of variety, and my glass of the rule cabernet that I enjoyed was delicious. I ordered the tile fish with brussels sprouts and purple potatoes. My fish was perfectly cooked. It was fantastic. My friends ordered the duck and grouper and they both liked their meals too. While we had to wait about an hour for our food to arrive, our server recognized the delay and provided us with a complimentary bowl of soup while we were waiting. Great service. This is a wonderful place to have a romantic night out. While it is on the expensive side, I think it is worth it. I have to mention, I was expecting a certain kind of atmosphere based on the fact that the name of the restaurant contains "bar and grill". Quite frankly, "bar and grill" this place is not. And I think many a customer will be confused upon arriving at a "bar and grill" that the entrees are $25-$30, especially considering that the menu on their facebook page is not the same as the restaurant menu. That said, I really liked this place and will be returning.

This restaurant was the worst I have been to. Food is not even close to what you can expect for the money you spend. To simply put it, all I can say is Mc D's fries are a lot better than what you get here. I got lamb chops, and the vegetable are better than the chops themselves and my wife got a carb cake sandwich which was salty and dry. Don't waste your hard earned money here.

When I travel out of New Orleans, I normally don't expect great meals. I got an incredible surprise with this restaurant. First, forget "bar and grill." This is a first class restaurant serving some of the best FRESH food I've had in a long time. The scallop appetizer and the crab cakes were phenomenal. The crowning glory of these was the amazing sauces which came with each. The small filet was melt in you mouth tender with a wonderful char from the grill. The fish dish was delicious, and again, each entree came with an amazing sauce. With the entrees came grilled vegetables as a "side." These were much more than an afterthought. The grilled asparagus, cauliflower, grilled fennel and roasted vegetables were as well prepared and carefully presented as anything else. And they were all totally fresh and amazingly flavorful. I suggested to the owner they have a grilled vegetable plate it was so good. We were pretty full but just had to share a Molten Chocolate Cate which was warm and gooey and rich. Too much for even two of us. I don't quite understand why other reviewers felt that this restaurant was overpriced. Our dinner, minus drinks came in at about $100.00. For the quality of this restaurant, the ambiance of the place and the freshness and skill of the products served, I considered it entirely reasonable. The value of this meal was excellent.
