We stopped on our way to Baton Rouge, LA and me being Chinese I was really craving good Chinese food. Unfortunately their food was not hot. I like my Chinese food hot and not quickly get to room temperature on my plate like their food did. I liked their variety and they had white rice which I like. If you like Japanese food there is some sushi but not the kind of sushi that I like. I like raw fish. Dessert selection was good. I really liked their jello.

To be blunt about this, this place is horrible now. Yes. I said now. Before, it was a decent buffet. The food tasted better a few years ago. I recently are here a few days ago as I came back to visit since I moved out of Alabama. As I came back to dine in, I was hoping for the same experience as I used to have before I moved. Nope! To me, all the food was bland. The sushi, I felt that the fish wasn't fresh it just didn't taste good. And the food wasn't just bland itself, it didn't seem fresh. It wasn't kept hot as it should be. I was very disappointed because to me, it used to be the only buffet in Mobile that I would go to. Now it went downhill. Well I know now that whenever I visit down here again, I'm not coming here.

Wow this place was absolutely terrible today. I have only been here once but I go to Chinese buffets everywhere and this is by far the bottom from California to Pascagoula. Now we did go at an off hour (2:45) but c'mon now that's no excuse. The 'hot' food was all old and the sorry selection of 'sushi' was literally room temperature. I ate a few pieces and then went over and touched the display and it was warm so hopefully I'm not puking tonight. Oh and even if the food was fresh and hot the sauce on everything is way to much so beware. You are better off going to Chipotle which was the other choice. Bummer

This is my favorite Chinese buffet in town. I love their black pepper chicken. They have a very large selection of food.

I have been a loyal customer for years and have enjoyed their great variety...until I got food poisoning that lasted for 2 days. I hadn't had anything else to eat that day and it started 6 hours after my meal. Suffice it to say I won't be dining there anymore. It's a shame because their food was good.

Probably better known as the Circuit City Buffet (for being next door to one for the longest time), this has to be the best Chinese buffet in Mobile. Vast selections. Their seafood is the best and freshest in the area. Some people moan about them not serving crab legs but they make it up by having the best crawfish and fresh shrimp (fried and boiled) Expect the usuals in a Chinese buffet but with a large seafood selection, chicken feet, raw oysters/mussels, and Sushi. They use Gulf seafood, a huge A+ for that.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
