I've made this a regular on my bi-weekly business trips to Mobile, having been here maybe a dozen times in the past 6 - 8 months. If I'm with coworkers I suggest the grill and show, but usually it's just me and my kindle, and we're fine with a booth. Walking in, I'm always greeted right away and seated. Even though the waitstaff rotates fairly regularly, they often know my order before I sit down. I'm still a big fan of the filet mignon hibatchi meal, and often order a New York roll (shrimp tempura roll with spicy tuna on top) as an appetizer. If there is any business for the sushi station, I know I'm probably going to get the appetizer with or shortly AFTER my entree... that's how fast the entree comes out, piping hot from the kitchen grill. Personally, it's not a problem for me, it tastes great all the same. I have very few complaints. Every now and then the lemon or lime for my ice tea is a bit dried out and unappealing, and on occassion being seated near the teppanyaki grills can be loud and distracting when I'm dining alone and just want to read. As mentioned by others, they have a large seating area, good size bar section, and a couple teppanyaki grills. I've always had immediate seating (as their neon sign outside indicates).

We orders sushi which was good. The place is dirty through out the restaurants. We are out of chipped Miso soup bowels and you can see the dirt on the floor . The bathroom are just dirty .. Probably will not come back

It was good. We got an order of Hibachi (which was huge) and a Dragon roll with soup and the salad and were utterly stuffed by the time we left. We took half of it home.

Pretty tasty. Had the General TAO chicken. Sauce was okay a little too much vinegar. Mongolian Beef was good as well. The service was good. Wasn't overly impressed.

I have been here twice. Our second trip was just to see if things would be different. It was bad like the first experience. Our first trip here, my wife's order was wrong twice. The waitress got it wrong the first time. Next, i guess it was the manager told her what it should be. It was wrong again when she brought it back to our table. Luckily, i ordered something off the hibachi menu. My order was correct. I had the Hibachi chicken. Nothing spectacular about my meal. It's pretty hard to mess that up. Our seconds trip was the worst. First, it took them a while to acknowledge that we had walked in. Even though they were nearly empty like a ghost town, somebody should know that they have patrons waiting. Once we got seated, our booth had food on the seat. I guess someone forgot to wipe it down. Next, it took them nearly five minutes before they got our drink order. The inattention from the start should have been a red flag of how our dinner would be. We ordered the shrimp tempura appetizer and it came out with our entree (I hate when that happens). I ordered off the hibachi menu again. This time they did send out subpar food. My fried rice was like eating plastic. You probably could have injured something if you kept eating that rice. My noodles were bland and i had to request for the dipping sauces. The only bright side to this, is that we left early due to bad service. After two bad experiences, there will not be a third.

This place wasn't as bad as the other reviews make it out to be. I had no real complaints. The sushi was good, salad was good and service was fine. They did seem more concerned about serving us as fast as possible so we could pay and leave. Oddly enough the place is huge so I don't know what their concern is. If they ever fill that place up they will be doing a great job... I'm not sure I'll go back. Just left a lot to be desired.

I love Bamboo Sushi Steakhouse. My husband and I really enjoy the Sushi, So far we have tried the Bingo Bango, New York, Godzilla, Las Vegas and one other one I just can't remember. Every time we go, we get seated right off and have always had pleasant servers. The owner or GM usually comes around to say hello at some point and to give the little one her "surprise" maybe a piece of candy or some sort of treat. We also enjoy the one on Cody Road as well. We go to the Bistro for the Sushi and the Cody Road for the Hibachi. Great experience all 4 times we've been!
