Delicious pastries. I had the cheese pastry and lemon raspberry parfait. Both were crafted carefully and tasty. James the pastry dude was friendly. If I lived here, I'd be eating his stuff all the time.

Very nice owner but I didn't come for hospitality I came for sweets. Drove twenty min to eat there just to get home and find that my brownie was was drier than a ritz cracker. He gave me a free cake lollipop which was good but my brownie was not excusable

Stopped by at 1pm on a Wednesday to pick up some pastries for a customer meeting. Usually go to Edgar's for this, but thought I'd give these guys a shot. Sign on the door, "be back in 15 min". Looked through the window and saw about two dozen cookies, some brownies, a couple cinnamon rolls, some petit fours and cups of something else. Not a big case or lot of choices. Another customer came and went away empty handed. John showed up as I was ready to leave. As everyone else stated, he was very nice and talkative. I'll follow up with the review of the dozen cookies I bought. He threw in a petit four and a cake pop to try as well.

Yummy! Magnificent Cakes offers everything from cookies and cinnamon rolls to personalized cakes! The shop is in a cute train car too! There are a couple tables for eating treats in, or you can just take your goodies to go. The vintagey, train-car vibe makes this a cutesy place to treat the kids. All goodies are homemade. They even have those yummy wedding cookies!

Hilde did both my bride's and groom's cake for my wedding, and WOW were they not only the most gorgeous cakes I've ever seen but they also were the most delicious--very spongy, light white cake and the perfect amount of buttercream icing that doesn't leave you feeling over-sugared. Since my husband and I of course only got tasting bites at the actual wedding, I am happy to report that, even a week later when we returned from our honeymoon, the cake was still delicious! Combined with a great price and a great experience working with Hilde, I give Magnificent Cakes an A++.
