If you have ever eaten a hamburger from Hamburger Heaven you expect a fresh cooked burger that is big and juicy. The burgers we had were old, flat, cold and overlooked. To say the least we were disappointed at the quality of our burgers.

I uses to like these burgers because the meat tasted real and thicker than fast food chains but not anymore. The burgers are thin and generic and tasteless. Fries are dull and bland. Can get a better tasting burger and fries from McDonald's at half the price. So disappointed because Hamburger Heaven WAS my favorite not home -cooked burger. Nowill just go to burger king or someplace

Want a great burger at a really good price? Better yet, a cheese burger and a peach milkshake! Hamburger Heaven is the place to go in Birmingham. Plus, they're packed with Alabama, Auburn, and UAB photos .. including a huge wall mural.

It's burgers and fries. Sometimes it's corn bites. Sometimes a banana shake. It's hurry up and get there before they close because if I am eating a burger it's probably late and well this is my go to burger place on this side of town.

In Irondale, AL on business and read reviews for a place near our hotel. Best burger I've had in a long while! Ordered the 1/2 lb burger, fries and drink. Burger came with Mayo but really tasted amazing. The fresh fixings, soft yet toasted bun really made for a simple yet memorable burger. It reminded me of the 'Health Camp' on the traffic circle in Waco, Texas. It's Old School Good! Fries were Ok. I dipped them in their table side burger sauce. Tasted like Heinz 57 but better. I'm glad I went and you will be too. Ordered a chocolate shake on the way out. Dineomite!

Great burgers! Love their shakes. The club is my fav here :) The kitchen staff is very friendly. I used a Groupon here once. It was a smooth transaction. Hopefully I can get another one some day. Great place for families.

Skip The Chains... I found this gem a few years back and every time I fly into Birmingham, I stop and eat here. This is local flavor at the very best. And you only find the local neighborhood here. Come lunch time, every heating and air guy, sales rep, route driver, father and son, plumber and local sweethearts are eating with their elbows on the table. HH has their own sauce that is nothing short of sublime. This is what a burger and fries should taste like...don't forget the milkshake. Service is friendly and fast. Enjoy.
