Great atmosphere! Reminds me of a neighborhood tavern from decades ago. Food is way above board and the staff are extremely friendly. Only knock is the smoking, but what do you expect from a nostalgic drinkery. A definite favorite!

A friend brought us to this place after our first choice was too crowded, and I have to say this is not my type of place at all! There's no actual sign out front, and the inside is very dark and dingy. The smokey-ness is pretty serious, there were only maybe 20 people there when we walked in and I could barely handle the smoke (not to mention everything we were wearing needed cleaning afterwards). The staff was nice and our waitress was very attentive, but not super helpful when it came to drink choices (one person asked about one of the beer's on tap, and she couldn't really give us any more insight than the name of it). With the other bar options in town being what they are, this is definitely not a place I'd recommend.

Cheap edible food. The place is dark and stingy. On top of that, way too smokey. Service was slow, even though the waitress was very nice. After one lunch seating, I smelled like smoke from head to toe...yuck!

OK... If you are in Huntsville and you want a private place to hang out- this is your spot. Pleasantly dark. NO SIGN- Look for the darkness and neon-signs in the corner or ask..... Close your eyes for 20 seconds before you walk in or you will bang into something. Most people are coming and going through the back door- so if you want to 'front', go around the back. This IS a smoking establishment with a strong following among the service industry, so if you don't like the smell of smoke... don't attempt. However, low cost HUGE beers with the most curious absent non-compete clause in the history of strip malls that they got stuck with..... FOUR other sandwich shops that aren't as good in the same corner? How did that happen? Video Games. Darts. Pool Table. Yummy old-school sandwiches. Yes- they will ask if you 'NEED' a menu. I love the Turkey Reuben. Great pub food with a CHILL crowd. Hard-core regular group of customers- so don't make waves. ALSO- 21 and over ONLY... For the most part... ;) A BAR with great food and great staff..... so if you don't understand what I'm trying to tell you, just shoot me a message.

Cheap drinks and it's a nice, relaxed spot. But the smoke is almost too much. Decent food for cheap prices.
