Is it PF Changs, no. Is it the second best Asian food in greater Huntsville, yes. I would highly recommend this as your one and only place to do Chinese /Asian to go food. Good clean restaurant, food was good and services wad friendly. The food came quickly and hot.

Stopped in today with my fiancee for lunch. A few of my fellow Yelpers had recommended this place some time back, so I was looking forward to trying the food. My fiancee ordered the Sweet & Sour Chicken lunch bowl w/ egg roll, I went with the General Tso's Chicken lunch bowl w/ an egg roll also. For an appetizer, we ordered Chicken Wontons. Basically everything came to the table all at once, not a big deal, I realize this is more of a take-out place rather than a restaurant. The Chicken Wontons did not really excite us at all, very underwhelming. Honestly, we were not even sure the meat inside was really chicken. As for our entrees, my fiancee felt her Sweet & Sour chicken was good, but her fried rice was very bland & mushy. She also only took a few bites of her egg roll, she didn't like it. I thought my General Tso's Chicken was so-so, basically on the level on Chinese food you typically find in a Mall. Egg Roll was OK, IMO. My fiancee also ordered a Sweet Tea -- simply put, the lemon was bad. Service was great, Stephanie at the counter was very friendly & nice. We did find a cozy booth in the back to sit and eat our lunch today, nice music to listen to, we did appreciate that. An extremely weak 3 Star rating. We will continue to seek out quality Chinese food in the Deep South, for some reason, it is very hard to find.

If you're in Huntsville and need a quick Asian food fix this is your place. The food arrives quickly and is quality. My coworkers and I had the cream cheese wontons, potstickers, dynamite shrimp (MUST TRY), combination fried rice, and at least four more entrees. I wish I got pictures but we ate this so so fast that I couldn't. For dessert we had the fried cheesecake (bc why not?) and its fried creaminess topped with chocolate and caramel would satisfy any sweet tooth. The ambiance welcomes a dine-in experience but it doesn't not feel like a full service restaurant. If you want a restaurant feel this is not your place but like I mentioned before come here for a quick, quality meal.

Fire Wok is a wonderful place to go if chinese is on the mind & you're wanting a quick and easy fix! The teriyaki beef is absolutely wonderful! I have also enjoyed their pad thai. The only thing is my husband has ordered the general tso chicken multiple times and has always been disappointed. In the long run though, don't pass the place up because it's good and not too expensive. And you get plenty of food!

A rare 5 stars from me. I moved to Huntsville 2 months ago and have been eating my way around town. All the food is terrific, but the Chinese cuisine is totally uninspired and not fresh and downright yuk. I'd come to believe their simply isn't any good Chinese in town... until I found Fire Wok today. Small and out of the way, I'd never heard of it until my co-worker told me about it. First impression was it reminded me of Pei Wei, the Asian Bistro off-shoot of P.F. Chang's, which I'm not a fan of. Atmosphere/décor was lovely. Definitely not a chain, and sure enough, it's owned by a local Chinese man who realized the local Chinese cuisine was lackluster at best. Tried the hot and sour soup, Mongolian beef, and ginger chicken with broccoli. Mongolian beef was the best I've ever had; the soup was delightful and satisfying and the best in Huntsville... very fresh ingredients. The chicken entrée was very good and flavorful. Clearly FRESH ingredients, which is something I hadn't found before in a Huntsville Chinese restaurant. The plates and bowls were modern and eclectic and the portions large. As a Chinese food lover, I can't begin to explain how happy I am to have FINALLY found good Chinese food in Huntsville!!! 5 stars all the way!!! Can't wait to try more dishes, and KUDOS to the chef for a superb menu and establishment!

I have had food from this business a number of times, and I think it's very good. Every time I've been there, I haven't seen a large crowd, but I think it's just because it's new and not well known, but I think once people realize it's pretty good, that will definitely change. It also has a pretty nice atmosphere for a small place. I was definitely surprised about that as well. I would recommend it.

Potstickers were good. My dad commented that he thought they had used rancid oil.

Pretty solid grub. I messed up and got the Mongolian chicken....pretty bland the tangy sesame chicken is the way to go.

This isn't SAN FRANCISCO, but by Huntsville standards, this is EXCELLENT Chinese. Their House Fried Rice & Fried Spring Rolls are our favorites! We also like their version of General Tso & their Kung Pao. This is the only Chinese in Huntsville, as far as we are concerned.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
