The problem with being a business traveler is that eventually you're going to go to New York or Chicago. Even if you only have a long layover in one of those places, you're automatically going to turn into one of those people who insists that the pizza is so much better there. Donato's is a nice place to go if you need to break this habit and let's face it, people in Huntsville don't really care how much better you think things are up north. I give this place four stars for some fine Alabama pizza, but they would've earned five if they served beer.

I was by myself, so I didn't order a pizza. I had the cheesy garlic bread and a stromboli. The taste and quality was similar to a mall Sbarro, but so were the prices. My "garlic bread" was a hoagie roll with cheese and garlic on it. However, it was cheap. I ate for about $11. Given the price, it's a fair restaurant. But this is not the place to go for an artisan pizza experience.

I ordered a couple of pizzas for pickup. They were ready on time, super easy to pick up utilizing the drive thru, the staff was friendly, and the pizza was good. Only thing my husband and I noticed is there wasn't quite as many toppings as when we order the same pizza from Donatos in Vestavia.

I ordered pizza for dinner last night to my hotel room. It was pretty decent! I enjoyed it. The prices are fantastic too, compared to California!! I would definitely recommend it. One minor problem was I asked for plates with my order and they didn't bring any. :-/

For a delivered pizza, it was just fine. We were hungry didn't want to cook and this hit the spot. It did take a while to get here, but we ordered at 6:30.

So I arrived in Huntsville late one evening after a major airline delay and just needed to get something to eat. I checked in my hotel, used Yelp! to see what was close and up pops up Donatos. What the heck....I called them and order a personal size pepperoni pizza. Fifteen minutes later I pick up the pizza and rush back to the hotel to devour the morsel. I have to say...it sure hit the spot. The pepperonis were perfectly crisped such that a little bit of oil was pooled in the center with the edges nice and crispy. Mmmmmm....perfect for a late bite to eat.

Donatos has been around Huntsville for quite a while. They have fantastic thin crust pizza and their ingredients are very good. They have a different taste to their pizzas than most of the other chain restaurants like it. I would advise anyone to give them a try.

Had this pizza several times while in Huntsville. It was good and they have plenty of meat and toppings on it. Pricey, but was worth it the times I ate it. Would recommend and they deliver to hotels in the area.

Pizza was not great. Took 45 minutes to get food ... if they want to charge same prices as better pizza places in town, they are going to have to do better. Wouldn't go back.

Delicious pizza right next to my hotel. I usually order their version of a supreme; they call it the Works. It takes them around 15 minutes to make a personal sized pizza. I ordered the thin crust. Not sure why they cut the pie so weird though (why not just slices?). Makes it a little more difficult/messy to eat.

Good pizza, and a nice place to visit. Essentially a all around good pizza joint/chain restaurant, serving hot fresh made Chicago deep dish pizzas with a zesty sauce. I had the veggie personal size, and it was pretty good and the price was good. It was slow while I was there, so I can't say much about the atmosphere, and the sevice was helpful - but it took a long time to get my pizza. They do offer free refills on soda though. Their Chibatta ranch chicken sandwich is also excellent, and a good price! highly recommended.

We heart Donatos. Their thin, no-crust pizza is as good as it's ever been, and lately they've added a bit more variety to their menu -- though admittedly, it took us awhile to venture away from the classics we've grown to love. The pizza is a bit pricier than places like Domino's or Papa John's, but we think it's worth it.
