Cads Blanca is OK! Their food is pretty average and nothing special. They do have pretty good chips and dip & Chicken and Rice. Besides that one is not missing anything. They might have good drinks but idk bc I'm not a big drinker. If you want bomb Mexican food go to Phil's or Rosie's!

Have not been here in about a year and was very disappointed in the quality of the food. Used to frequently stop in for lunch and supper and loved the food. This time both my wife and I were surprised by how unappetizing the presentation seemed. Turns out that was the best part of the meal. Chicken quesadilla meat was barely warm. Chili relleno was room temp and bland. Cheese dip was lumpy and grainy. Will not be back.

My friends and I frequently go here... It is okay. Nothing is outstanding but nothing that I've had is inedible either. The service is pretty good and the margaritas are good.

First time eating here and it's my last unfortunately. I ordered two beef tacos a la carte with a side of guacamole and Pico de gallo on a Saturday evening around 9pm. When I see beef tacos on a menu, I usually think it's going to be smaller chunks of grilled meat, or ground beef. What came out was unappealing and honestly disgusting. It was like a meat puree that had some pieces of onion in it. It was pretty bland, and the consistency of it almost made me gag. If I hadn't been on foot staying at a hotel down the street, and afraid other places would have been closed by the time I got there I would have asked for a refund and left. Also, the Pico de Gallo was not fresh, as the tomatoes and onions had lost a lot of their color and were basically tasteless. The only decent point was that the chips seemed made in house and the salsa was ok. Very disappointing... Check out my photo of the taco and see what you think.

I love Casa Blanca. Super great service. My husband and I are regulars. Not a huge fan of the salsa, however the hot sauce is to DIE for. Literally, I order cups of this hot sauce to go. Best homemade hot sauce I have ever had in my life (nice heat not spicy or over bearing, warms up your mouth, great taste) I always get the Nachos Machos or the Tres Amigos. Tons of food. Margaritas are strong and delicious. I love it!

Went here about a month ago, great place, great food, great staff. Food was amazing sat at the bar. Real Mexican food, a must try if you haven't , a must if your citing the area. Hard to find great restaurants when you travel like I do. I'll be eating there again and a again when in town.

Why is this place so empty, even though they have cheap beer and great food? Why is Rosie's Cantina, just one parking lot away, always packed even though the service sucks and the food is mediocre? This is just one of the great mysteries of life that I contemplated over the first of several $4, 20 oz. draft beers...

Had lunch there. Ordered off the lunch menu. Had a chalupa with beans and rice. Everything on the plate was cold-not room temperature- but refrigerator cold. The cheese on the beans was not melted. I'm guessing the chef forgot to place in the warmer. When I called it to the attention of the server, he did not offer to return it to the kitchen. I spoke to the manager, but they did not comp the meal. Needless to say, it was a bad experience.

Fantastic Fajita's, I'm from California where Mexican food is fantastic! Casa Blanca is definitely the best in Huntsville .....a must visit restaurant.

The man and I stopped by here for lunch on the way back to Bham. The lunch specials were very reasonably priced, and the portions were large.. but taste was pretty bland and very Americanized. Is it really that hard to find authentic Mexican food in the South?? Beer was cold. Chips and salsa were fresh. Service was nice and attentive. Decor was pretty fun and wild. But there was no chimi to my changa. Would I go back if I were visiting the area? Nah. But it wasn't the worst food I've ever put in my pie hole.

Only here because AL immigration law caused La Michoacana Tienda y Taqueria to close. This food was bland and sour. Not coming back. I will have to find a new lunchtime Mexican.

I love authentic Mexican food and have yet to eat any while here in Huntsville. Casa Blanca has pretty bad cheese dip and their salsa is out of the can. I ordered their house special fajitas which were ok. The sides that came with it were subpar. Old guac, bland rice, not soft flour tortillas. The one good thing I had while I was there was my margarita. I will not be going back and I definitely don't recommend this spot to anyone looking for good Mexican food.

Although its a brightly painted building, I kind of didn't notice it till late during my stay in Huntsville. However, I am happy that I did since I had recently been a little disappointed with my experience at Rosie's. The service was extremely quick and friendly. I had the enchiladas, and they were soo tasty...they do not skimp on flavor here! They also have specials on their yummy margaritas! Overall, great place for some tasty Mexican food!

Casa Blanca is a top-notch Mexican restaurant. The salsa has a strong cilantro flavoring and the chips are always fresh. Service is exceptionally fast, even during lunch and dinner rushes. Lunch portions and prices are very reasonable!

Casa Blanca is a great Mexican restaurant chain, and this location is no exception. The food is good and the service is fast. As always, it seems like the waiters are psychic and know what you want to eat before you order it because it takes no time for them to serve your food after you order. The food is piping hot and your drink stays filled. What more can you ask for on you lunch break? The only downside that I can see is that the food isn't anything special. It tastes very good, but it's not something I would call inspiring. Pros: Fast service Good Food Cons: Food is uninspiring

This is my favorite mexican place in HV! They have a great menu and are reasonably priced. I LOVE their margaritas. They have 4 or so of these in town, this one is the best. This one will often have live music on weekends too, great!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
