I used to come to Cafe 153 to study, but many experiences with unreliable internet and limited seating with the proper lighting have taught me to avoid suggesting this cafe for study groups. They also are frequently out of supplies ... I've been denied cake, coffee syrups, and certain teas multiple times this past year. However, they do make a good coffee well worth the price for a pre-movie snack, or a warmup for shopping in the cold.

A bit pricey but glad Bridgestreet has something like this. I love the coffee beans aroma when you enter. It's simply decorated with plenty tables and chairs along with an upstairs for more seating. Never got their food. Their green tea lattee (with green tea/tea and not powder) always hit the spot in the cold. The people are always nice and smiley ;)

I'm in AL for two weeks, and I really like this cafe. It has the feel of coffee shops and cafes in Arlington. The White Mocha is great, and the vibe at this place is real nice too! This is defiantly my coffee place when I'm in Huntsville, AL.

Went for a cup of coffee with a friend who was visiting from out of town. Quaint, quiet setup. We sat upstairs. Nice view of restaurant and outside. Coffee was tasty. I haven't been back yet but would definitely recommend it! Great job!

Coffee is roasted in their shop, but its generally just ok. food is ok as well. If you sit upstairs, you'll notice a good bit of dust on the ceiling fan. But its a convenient place to stop for coffee and the baristas are nice.

Probably the nicest little coffee shop I'd never pay attention to... I'm sure I've walked past Café 153 a few dozen times but only yesterday did I actually go on. I was so. Impressed by the product, I'm back again today. Try the dirty chai tea. Upstairs seating is very cool, just watch out for the not-so-supportive chairs. Downstairs seating is comfortable with just enough window seating for casual people watching... for what that's worth. I hear the French (medium) roast is a coffee drinker's caffinated fantasy as well.

I was looking for a good cup of coffee to go, but it was fairly weak (as in wrong water to coffee ratio). It seemed like a nice place to hang out and do work, but the coffee was not anything I'd seek out.

Cafe 153 has a great atmosphere. Sweet spot to write and people watch. There's a second floor balcony that is super chill. Food and non-coffee drinks are average, and the wifi is spotty. Admittedly I don't drink coffee and most people seem to like their coffee here. The staff is always friendly.

it's usually quiet, and they have pretty good wraps. A little pricey but that's cuz it's in Bridge st.

It was good on a very cold day. It took the service a while to take the order, but the taste wasn't too bad. I would come again if I needed something while at Bridgestreet but this is not anything to go out of my way for.

I love going to Cafe 153 whenever I'm at bridgetstreet. Their frappes are amazing along with their breakfast food. The atmosphere is so inviting and I love the layout of the store. I've gone there to socialize with friends, and I've also spent some time there studying by myself and with friends. I prefer this coffee shop over the generic chain stores.

I love Cafe 153! It's a great place to relax with friends and the Chai frappe is spectacular.

$5 for a hot chocolate. And I couldn't even finish it. That's how bad it was! The taste was awful, barely tastes like chocolate, more like almond milk with a hint of something else. I used to go to the one in Hughes and the hot chocolate was amazing. After not going for 6months I tried it again and was disappointed!

These guys don't take Amex at all. You would think on such high margin drinks as $5+ coffee they could at least take Amex.

This is one of the best coffee shops in Huntsville (along with Grounded Coffee in Madison). I come here at least a handful of times per month to escape the hustle and bustle of the office and get some work done. I've tried many different types of brewed coffee and never been disappointed. The espresso is pretty darn good too. I'll admit that I've never tried their food or tea but others I know have been complimentary. Staff is really great too and always been eager to help.

It's a coffee shop, and a good one at that, but the desserts were lacking. I had both the espresso, and some camomile tea. Tea is tea, so no need to review it, but the espresso was definitely well done. I generally opt for Starbucks, not because it's good, but because it's consistent and not bitter. Many places tend to have an espresso machine that manages to burn or make a really bitter shot, but this place does it right. I'd definitely come here again, especially with the nice, upstairs seating area. The only downside is that their dessert selection is pretty limited. Maybe it was the day I was there, but I really didn't want baked goods, and that's all they really had. I was looking for something with a custard or a filing, and they just had cakes.

I ordered the Green Tea Latte and it was pretty delicious! The cup size is pretty good for a small, and it's cheaper than Starbucks. The girl that worked there was very nice and opened some lights for us because it was dimly lit in our spot, and there's plenty of seating upstairs as well. I would definitely recommend this place, the ambiance is relaxing.

Had to kill some time before a movie showing, so I decide to stop in for a drink and snack after a friend recommended this as a nice, local place for coffee. Giving them 4 stars because they had a green tea latte (not the best I've ever had, but not far from it - I recently developed an addiction to these on a recent trip to the west coast). The choc chip cookie was also the perfect amount of firm/crisp on the edge an soft in the center. While seated with my drink, I overheard another customer asking for an actual cup/mug for her latte. They served them in disposable cups - so they could maybe work on presentation a little if that's something that matters to you. I do plan to return to try some of their coffee.. They seemed to have a nice variety of fresh bean for grinding.

Great place, worth the extra miles of the highway. Clean, friendly and great coffee. Working wi-fi. Loved this place in an area where finding good coffee is so hard to find

The people here are so friendly and helpful if you are having a hard time deciding what to drink. The cappuccino is awesome, and I really like that they have light, medium, and dark roasts available for their coffee. It is a little expensive, but not any more expensive than Starbucks and the quality is definitely worth the price ($2.37 after tax for a medium coffee).

What a fantastic place! Dropped in for a quick Americano before my flight and was pleasantly surprised with my drink and the atmosphere. They were roasting a batch of coffee when I came in, which makes the establishment smell amazing. Their upstairs seating area is filled with comfortable chairs and tables for large or small groups. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They even used an iPhone to swipe my credit card info. The wifi is fast and the place is spotless. If I lived here in Huntsville, I would live here at Cafe 153!

Fantastic atmosphere to just hang out with a coffee and a snack. Huge variety of drinks (including several you won't see at Starbucks), and food ranging from "just a cookie" to a full lunch if you're so inclined. They do have free wifi, also.

I love this little cafe in the Bridgestreet Town Center! It's a bit hidden away down one of the walkways off the main strip, next to the Chocolate Crocodile shop. It's a cute little place that sells coffee, tea and pastries as well as a few small breakfast/lunch items. They have a very comfortable two story layout, with both stories having lots of outlets, perfect for those of us looking to plug in the laptop and lose ourselves in work for a morning. They have free wi-fi, just ask the clerk for the password. It's a quiet place to work on a rainy Monday, I was there all day and had the upstairs to myself a lot of the time. They have plenty of comfortable leather chairs and a small leather couch too. I've had their white chocolate pumpkin spice latte which is perfect on a rainy fall day, and I've tried their African Nectar tea which is also delicious. Their tea of choice is Mighty Leaf. They play great music, but not so loud that it keeps you from concentrating. All in all, a great spot and my go to place if I ever need to work away from home.
