Amazing, Huntsville's oldest restaurant. Sit at the bar and eat the most amazing little burgers for a buck 10 or so. Chili dogs are good as well. All the old timers come in for bowls of chili. You have to order the Double-Cola to drink. Made with more real sugar, than coke and pepsi, just to round off the meal. This is one place you have to go to if you live in North Alabama.

This is a wonderful little dive of a place. Old school in every aspect, from the vinyl and chrome stools to the old timers who sit atop of them. It's also Huntsville oldest restaurant, opening in 1928. BSC serves up breakfast and lunch six days a week and on this day, we ordered a bag of little greasies, some of them "hold the onion". Little greasies are small burgers ($1.10 each) and are super delish. It's a beef patty, dipped in beef juice, topped with mustard and onions (cheese on request for a little extra). Drool... These are not the healthiest burger on the block, but they sure are the tastiest!

A definite diner, but a great burger. These are freshly made, flat grill fried slider sized burgers. I had a cheese burger and fries. They were yummy. The fries are fried to order. It's this cute little diner with counter space and a couple of tables. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. A couple notes... they don't take credit cards and expect to smell a little like a greasy diner when you leave.

I am not a Huntsville native but these guys are. Friendly staff in a cozy diner making my favorite breakfast in town and a burger to clog any healthy artery. I eat breakfast here more than I do at home so nuff said.

If you are looking for atmosphere, you won't find it here, but I did enjoy a great hamburger steak, which is prepared after you order. Heavy take out service. Small diner with only one table and a lunch counter with stools. For service, price and quality of food, I give it five stars.

This is a special place. It's 5 stars for the taste, character and value. Old timers, blue collars, white folks and black folks come here. I'm the odd man out in a button down shirt but they're nice to me anyway. The burgers are slider sized and served with mustard and onion. I get the hamburger with cheese, which comes as described. If you get the cheeseburger, you will get a slightly larger patty and I think lettuce and tomato. Both are juicy and delicious. The chili sauce, available on burgers and dogs, isn't my favorite. The slaw dog has a ketchup-slaw sauce, also not my favorite. Both are very popular with regulars though. The fries are good but not remarkable. The drink selection is limited. And the building is too small and in need of a redo. Who cares? No one. It's standing room only sometimes until a stool at the bar opens. The three people behind the bar hustle, too. And the prices are very nice so I always leave an outsized tip.

This is one of those tiny places that belongs on "Diners and Dives." They serve the best dang cheeseburger and fries you'll ever eat. The proof is the parking lot is ALWAYS full. Hole in the wall, funky, they serve breakfast too. If you're in Huntsville for ANY reason, get over there! It's on Governor's drive, head west from Memorial Parkway on Governors and it's on the right before you hit Triana. Easy to miss!

My wife and I walked into this "establishment" around 10:30 ish Friday morning. The place was almost empty except for a few patrons. We walked up to the counter to sit down. Behind the counter there was a woman gabbing away with another person seated to our left. I looked directly at her, made eye contact and said in a very friendly manner "Good morning!" NOTHING... I waited a few seconds to let her get her incessant gabbing out and repeated my greeting... NOTHING... Finally my wife attempted the same, made eye contact with the nonstop, non manners having waitress/server/owner or whatever she was and guess what? NOTHING! We looked at each other in dismay, did an about face and will NEVER enter that dump again. First of all the establishment looks like a falling apart dinner who apparently centers on serving locals only. The reason we stopped in was that our regular dinner had stopped serving Breakfast and we figured we would give this place a try... Hey no problem, it's their right to serve who they want and treat customers how they want. However it's my right to never recommend this place to anyone. I can honestly say that since living in the Huntsville/Madison area since 2001 this is the first time we have experienced of this kind of service. This might be the oldest place in Huntsville and this type of attitude might have worked when they were the only game in town, but Huntsville is not a one horse town any more. NEVER AGAIN!

Been going in for their chili dogs since I can remember....my parents were fans also. Their slaw dogs are tasty too. There's only a lunch counter and about two tables, so often it's packed and I just get my food to go.

It's 5 stars for the taste, character and value. Small place 2 counters one seats 12 and the other seats 4, and a table that can seat 6.The burgers are slider sized with mustard and onion. They have cheeseburgers also. The onion rings are frozen but they fry them so you know they're good. The also have hot dogs, slaw dogs, and chili dogs. They also do breakfast. The staff is very nice, and welcoming. The smell of the burgers cooking is awesome. This place has won my stomach and will be going back. *Currently its a CASH ONLY place I hope my review helps someone to give them a try.

Quick, crazy cheap and mega delicious, I've just devoured my first cheeseburger and fries for the sensational total of $3 and some change. Ain't no fuss in this place; just head on in and take a seat at the counter. If it's 'round lunch time, you best call in cause it's standing room only. I'll be back for sure. My order was ready faster than any drive thru I've been in with way better prices. Plus, you can't beat the down home atmosphere. Stop on in and let them fix you up right.

I heard so much about this place...but after my first visit, I doubt I will go back. I know this place has the nostalgia of historic Huntsville. That is fine if you want that...it still has that. The burgers are just plain burger meat (no seasoning) that doesn't fill out the bun. Onion Rings were frozen and taste no better than school lunch type. I just don't know why this place is always busy. I will try their breakfast once, and maybe I will change my thoughts...but for now, I am moving on to better things. Actually I did get a Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit that turned out really good on 1/30/15. So I will bump it from a 2 to a 3 in my book. So maybe their breakfast is their saving grace.
