This place is great. Healthier yogurts make you feel less guilty about a great dessert.

Man there are some serious haters hatin' on Yapple. The few bad reviews thus far are based on food allergies. Don't worry, there is an allergist across the street if some nuts get in your kids yogurt. Anyways, now on to my review. It was May. It was 95 degrees. I deserved a cold treat. I popped over to Yapple to give it a go. I was pleasantly greeted at the door and there was a girl who helped me with a free sample. I am a huge fan of froyo and the self serve establishments. I found Yapple to have a good selection of froyo flavors, though I do love my banana yogurt and they had none. I did try the strawberry, the cheesecake and the cake batter, all full of flavor on their own. I also found their toppings bar the most extensive I have come across and also properly labeled. Their fresh fruit was just that...fresh! No mushy bananas or odd colored strawberries here. Also, with all my fixins and my three flavors, my total came to less than $4...pretty good for the main line. I am excited to have a froyo place so close to me now. I am definitely going back. Coldstone is dead to me now.

Yapple is officially the BEST frozen yogurt I've ever eaten. Ever. The chocolate sorbet tastes like somebody took the highest quality bittersweet 85% cacao dark chocolate bar, froze it, and then textur-ized it to artisan gelato standards and put it in a frozen yogurt machine. The bitterness of the chocolate sorbet is complimented by the mildly sweet (think cappuccino without sugar) espresso and the creamy peanut butter, which thankfully lacks that cloyingly sugary flavor of other peanut butter fro yos. For all of you tart fiends, the taro is super tart...the original is legitimately tart. Yapple now offers cookie dough as a topping, making it even more amazing. There is also some hazelnut sauce with crunchies in it that you should pour over whatever yogurt you have. The little juice squirt balls offer tart explosions of flavor. If you never experience Yapple, you will never be happy. All other frozen yogurt places are inferior...as are most ice cream stands and gelato joints.

I have been to Yapple Yogurt twice in the past 5 days. I cannot believe this place was once Maggie Moo's. It looks amazing inside and very fun. The place smelled like doodie outside but that is not the fault of Yapple Yogurt. Somebody had left an exposed doodoo diaper in the communal trash can outside. The array of flavors was AMAZING! I think I tried them all except for Green Tea because because one time I had a bad experience with Green Tea. I really liked the chocolate and birthday cake. I liked the toppings too. I got the squishy balls as a topping. I sneezed while eating and one shot up into my sinus cavity. Have no fear, I blew my nose really hard and it came out. There were two really rude people in front of me who I think were taking advantage of the free yogurt on the first day. Their cups were BRIMMING with yogurt and toppings. No one person could possibly eat all that yogurt in one sitting. Maybe they brought it home to eat later? Some people have coolers built into their cars for instances such as this. I don't know. I will continue to patronize Yapple Yogurt. I hope to work up the courage to try the Green Tea as my friend got some and it smelled good. Is there a possibility of mixing real pieces of cake into the birthday cake? Maybe sprinkles too? I would like that and I know other people would too. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to review Yapple Yogurt. I wish you lots of luck.

Good yogurt if you're looking for a lighter option than ice cream. One would argue that piling on their chocolate "awesomesauce" (as I so often do) negates the good done by choosing yogurt over ice cream, but I can't seem to help myself. The line moves quickly, and I'm a sucker for self serve! They have a good selection of the soft serve varieties, and a great toppings bar. I wish they offered smaller cups because I do think the tendency for some people will be to fill up a very large cup and you could easily end up with a $7 fro-yo!

I often have doctor's appointments out in Wynnewood, and my pre-train snack back to the city usually consists of a coffee and carrot raisin muffin from Main Line Bakery. Welp, not this time. I spied Yapple from across the station and suddenly started craving the fro. Unfortunately, not even a 10% off Yelp check-in offer could save this one. While the topics selection was out of control, the yogurt was just too icy. I understand the concept of frozen yogurt through and through (a healthy! delicious! treat!), but in my opinion, it should be made as creamy as possible.

Love this place! Cool flavors (try the salted caramel!!) and great toppings. Also a great price. We got two cups, each with almost every flavor they had, and we paid $6.00 in sum. The guy behind the counter was also very friendly. One negative: every voice in the room echoes. When we were there, they had about a dozen kids celebrating a birthday and it was so loud we had to leave. Great froyo though, I had fun here

Yogurt is mediocre as is the topping selection. The toppings bar is always messy, too. Friendly staff, just much better options in the area.

After Sabrina's Cafe, dropped by with my nephews and they were going nuts. So many different flavors of ice cream/frozen yogurt and then you come over to the toppings section and you just are overwhelmed with the selection. The kids definitely loved it and and had a blast. Service was great. The gal behind the counter was sweet and very nice. Nothing else really to review about the place because you serve yourself and then pay at the counter. It's just all up to you whether you make a crazy good bowl of Frozen Yogurt.

Local yogurt shop popular with kids. Self serve by the ounce. Cups are large, and you inevitably fill it, and end up spending $7 and not wanting to finish it. Lots of flavors and toppings.

  • Ali M.

Great topping selection. Improve on acoustics in the room. Need more abstract flavors like strawberry watermelon or cherry limeade. No hot fudge either. Two different size yogurt cups would have been nice.

I love Yapple Yogurt in theory. My husband, on the other hand, refuses to go there (more on that later). I love the flavors (they have the best chocolate sorbet, hands down, of any of the local fro-yo places), and I like the happy, neon-pastel decor. My kids love it, and my youngest child is addicted to it. I probably took my kids to YY once or twice a week this past summer. I wish it weren't so conveniently located. I wrote a review of YY last year, to which the owners responded, which was great. They did institute a frequent buyer card system, and they can accommodate my peanut-allergic daughter by giving her toppings from the back room that haven't been exposed to the possibly cross-contaminated ones at the toppings bar. They did not implement my suggestion of providing a scale somewhere along the self-serve line so customers can gauge just how costly their dessert concoction is going to be before they end up at the register (and gawk at their daughter's $8 mountainous glob of gooey mess), but it seems none of the fro-yo places provide such a scale (I'm not an idiot, I know why...). Despite the improvements, YY can be incredibly annoying to frequent, especially in the summer when all the Main Line teens hang out there. And, they have these strange big, deep white seats that look cool but are hard and uncomfortable (and difficult for little kids to sit in). But I do like their cool ceiling light that changes colors. You know how I wrote they implemented a frequent buyer card program? Well, they shouldn't have. When they first offered the card, a few months after they opened, I was so happy because you could attach the little plastic card to your keychain, which I immediately did. The frequent buyer card would be a great if it actually worked. Every time I have given the cashier my card, she'd never knows how many points I have accumulated. She looks blankly at the computer screen and says "I don't know." And, the cashiers never ask if I have the card when I'm checking out, so it's like they don't really want me to have one. Oh, and they can't credit customers the points after they've bought their yogurt, so if you have your card with you but forget to pull it out until after you've paid, then you're out of luck. They say if you keep your receipt they can credit you when you return. I haven't tried it. Supposedly, you're supposed to earn a certain number of free ounces after you've bought 100 ounces (1 ounce = 1 point). With my family of six, that isn't hard to do. But after about 5 visits where I had given them my card and assumed I was being credited, when I finally asked how many points I had because I must be getting close, the staff person said, oh, it looks like you have about 5 points. I told her that was impossible because I've been buying about 15-25 ounces each of the past 5 visits. She noticed that I had transactions that showed I had bought that many ounces, but they were never credited towards my free yogurt. So there you go. Useless. She said it must be a defective card and gave me a new one. Well thanks a lot. My husband refuses to go to YY because he hates the decor and teen crowds. It's too loud and he doesn't like neon green as much as I do. He much prefers Kiwi Yogurt in Haverford, which is where we usually end up going these days. They don't have a computerized frequent buyer system, just the good old punch card, which works amazingly well.

LOVE Yapple! I don't know how they get these very inventive flavors to really taste like what they say it is. The Apple Pie was compelling enough to get us back at least once a week. Caramel salted pretzel? I can't believe how good. My favorite is good old strawberry twisted with vanilla if they have those two side by side. The topping bar is unbelievably well stocked. So many flavors, there's something for anyone, even some sugar free. It's always clean, and the staff are always very friendly & happy to give you a cup or two for samples if you're not sure you're going to like a flavor.

Great options of frozen yogurt and toppings! It is very delicious with several different flavors of yogurt as well as several toppings. It's a great place for yogurt. I recommend checking it out!

I am officially obsessed. I've been at Yapple the past 2 days and will be going back again today. The flavors are delicious (peanut butter and blood orange are my favorites so far), the toppings are extensive, the place is kept clean, and the employees are very friendly. I will definitely be a regular. It seems like some of the complaints people have made in previous reviews have already been addressed, including putting sample cups and regular cups right next to the yogurt, and not just at the counter area. A frequent customer card would definitely be appreciated -- I know I'd use it!

my fro-yo cherry has officially been popped! and it's yapple who stole my virginity. it was a beautiful summer nite, and i was feeling in the mood...for something cold & sweet. not wanting to dive right in, i requested some small cups so that i could sample a few flavors first. i was a little nervous, it being my first time with self-serve, but i grasped the technique, and the handles, rather quickly. i tasted almost all....with my least favorite being the taro, and my faves (mocha, cookies & cream, birthday cake) being the ones that made the cut, or rather, the cup. it was then toppings time, and i went for ones i felt would best complement my combo, without over-shadowing the flavors or adding too much to the by-weight cost (which ended up a befitting $4.20). then, i sat in an egg-esque chair, savoring spoonful after spoonful of creamy (and crunchy) deliciousness while admiring the too-cute cartoon artwork adorning the walls...OH! while my first time will always hold a special place in my heart, variety is where it's at, and i look forward to going back for more yapple yumminess, as well as trying some of their [many] competitors in the area.

Amazzzzzzing. The Salted Caramel Pretzel froyo is to die for!!.. It was worth every bit of that $6 I spent on it!

I was happy to see a non-dairy choice here! They have some good topping choices from Oreos to mochi! Their prices are pretty affordable compared with the prices downtown and I thought the stuff tasted pretty good too. Next time I'm at the car dealer getting my car serviced down the street, instead of waiting there, I'm taking a walk to Yapple!

Apparently the saying is :"a yapple a day keeps the doctor away". This was the old maggie moo's turned into a fro-yo place, i liked maggies but this was a good idea also. Main line area, surrounded by several eateris, walking traffic and on a hot muggy nite this is a spot to hit up. Had the vanilla and mixed it up with some caramel pretzel flavored yogurt....added some crushed brownies and crushed oreos. was pretty good, price is .49 an ounce but with the help of yelp and the 10%off deal by checking in .. i added some more to my cup. One thing I didn't see was a waffle cone cup... and some of the toppings were different from the other spots I've been to. Place was packed seeing the kind of night we have, looked clean... only thing they need to do is change the colors a bit.. that needs to go... women behind the counter were nice and helpfull. good stuff

Healthy Frozen Yogurt ! Most of the frozen yogurt is gluten free if it has gluten it is definetly labeled here so its definetly not a concern for those that have gluten allergies. I found that alone to be incredibly impressive. There flavors were impressive. There toppings bar had fruit and other goodies. I saw banana, kiwi, strawberry, blackberries, maraschino cherries & they had cookie dough, white choc macadamia cookie dough, chocolate sprinkles, crunch, heath, & reese's pieces to sprinkle in... Just to name a few !!! Everything is well stocked. The only reason why I knocked off a star is because the seating area didn't look to clean & looked like things could have been wiped down. But, I honestly can't complain and I will definetly be back. I think I just might have found my new summer ice cream spot. The frozen yogurt also has healthy probiotics in it !!! Maybe, there slogan just might be correct "A yapple a day keeps the doctor away !" :)

There's nothing quite like the diabetes-inducing, pancreas-antagonizing smorgasbord of a good froyo self-serve place. It is very easy to go crazy here, piling a mishmosh of froyo flavors on top of one another. I give special props to Yapple because they have little strawberry and orange juice bursts. These are tiny balls of juice encased in a thin gelatin sphere. They are really fun and tasty. I haven't seen them at any froyo place so far in my life. Their hazelnut awesomesauce was pretty darn great.

Ever since I had Pinkberry when I was out in New Orleans, I longed for a good frozen yogurt shop close to home. There's a Yapple due to open in Langhorne, very close to me, but I couldn't wait any longer. I had to check out the Wynnewood location. This is a self serve yogurt shop, so you can literally fill your bowl with as many different flavors and toppings as you like, you pay by weight at the counter. I went for the plain original tart mixed with blood orange. Both were delicious. The other people in my party got different flavors so I was able to sample the chocolate and birthday cake flavors, which were also amazing. The store is very clean and the decor is pretty rad. The best part about the Wynnewood location is that there's other awesome places to eat in the shopping center, so you can make an afternoon of it and go get lunch and Yapple for dessert. We had burritos next door at Santa Fe before sampling the Yappley goodness. Can't wait for the Langhorne store to open!

Seriously as good as it gets for froyo. I've tried them all: Pinkberry, Red Mango, Kiwi, Tutti Frutti, Sweet Endings, and more (I'm a little addicted to froyo. I would say it's a problem, but the probiotics make it okay!). Yapple dominates them in all categories. The design is fantastic. All the froyo machines are on this gorgeous, back-lit cobalt wall (my favorite color) and there's some color lighting thing happening on the ceiling that is also awesome, especially at night. There's some cute/weird wall art by the seating area, and I love all the music they play All in all, very cool vibe. In my experience, the service was fine. I was greeted at the door by a worker who asked me if I had ever been to a place like this before. I have, but even if I hadn't, it seemed pretty self explanatory. That blue wall of froyo was calling my name right from the get go. There was someone behind the toppings bar to answer any questions about the wide variety of toppings, more than I've seen anywhere else. There were tons of fresh fruit, which I loved, because other places have slim pickins when it comes to fruit. The froyo itself was sooooo delicious. I definitely need a daily dose of that chocolate sorbet. I don't usually like chocolate in ice cream/froyo/sorbet/cold creamy dessert form, but this was like cold, creamy, luscious dark chocolate, and no weird aftertaste. I'm obsessed. I dream about it. I think I will go right now to get some because I'm basically drooling all over my keyboard. It's that good. Second favorite: blood orange. I haven't seen it anywhere else, and it is goooooooood. Yapple, I am obsessed with you!

BEST FROYO. AHHH! and ppl will yell at me for this, but i like it over pinkberry and even red mango. to date, i gave this honor to tutti frutti in the city, but this place blows all other froyo in philly away. i tried the blood orange, raspberry, chocolate sorbet, and peanut butter and they were all delicious. the bf had original, vanilla as well and he was also delivering praise in spades. my favorite combination was the blood orange with strawberries, blueberries, green tea mochi with a teensy corner of chocolate crunchy awesomesauce (yeah, that is what they actually call it). the other half of my cup had snickers, reese's peanut butter cups, and cookie dough with chocolate sorbet and it was also quite delicious. aside from the huge range of froyos available, the toppings bar is ridiculous. they have a ridiculous selection of 'awesomesauces' which consist of candy or nuts in a chocolate-y or creamy base, chopped fruits, nuts, all the candy selections you can think of, mochi AND green tea mochi (i've never seen this anywhere else), and more things i can't even recall with my feeble brain. just know, whatever you want, they have it. the only thing you have to fear is if you are an indecisive person. because there are soooo many froyo flavors (8-10?) and sooooooooo many toppings (like 30?!) that choosing will be difficult. then again, since the cups are so huge, you could theoretically just get everything and taste it all.

I'm not quite sure what's feeding this frenzy of excitement among reviewers (friends/family of the owner perhaps?). This is a solid frozen yogurt place, but does not really do anything to differentiate itself from the myriad other frozen yogurt places that are popping up all over the place. Same sort of setup you see everywhere else -- a bank of frozen yogurt machines with various flavors and a buffet of add-ons and toppings. Same high prices for what you get. Frozen yogurt doesn't taste as good as ice cream or gelato but costs just as much or more. Somehow, it's gotten itself marketed as a "healthier" alternative even though the unhealthiest component of ice cream (sugar) is not reduced in frozen yogurt.

They zero out the cups! Here is your extra star Yapple! As soon as my P90x diet moves to the high carb faze... We will continue our love affair, I promise.

I was excited to have a yogurt shop in the area. It was good, although not as good as what I've had at other yogurt shops in other locations. LOTS of topping options and yogurt flavors. The biggest turnoff for me was that the organization in this place is non-existent. I don't know if there just weren't enough workers in there, or if it was poorly set up or just too many people, but it felt overwhelming chaotic.

The closest Fro-yo shop to my home. Clean, cool, & refreshing. Their toppings are great, the fruits are always fresh !

This is just your average fro-yo. The rave reviews speak to the pent up demand here. Happy it's here, but I wish it were Pinkberry.

Honestly, the main downside to Yapple Yogurt is that it's just not as good as Kiwi Yogurt in Haverford. Being from California and growing up with frozen yogurt everywhere, I'm very picky about my froyo, and this place is very good but not great. It's the same price as Kiwi Yogurt (a whopping 49 cents an ounce, which seems to be standard for the area), but the quality of the yogurt just isn't as creamy and delicious as Kiwi's. Add to that a smaller selection of flavors and toppings, and I'm usually going to opt to drive the 2 miles to Kiwi. However, Yapple sends out 20% off coupons on a fairly regular basis, and it is enough of a tasty treat for me to stop in any time I see one of those! As an almost-daily yogurt consumer, I would also love to see a frequent buyer punch card.

First warm days of Spring... and a great excuse to return to Yapple. By now, they've implemented all of the suggestions that yelpers and other customers have made (sample cups, better organization, frequent eater card) and have added a flavor so great that I had to update my review... Snickerdoodle! The Snickerdoodle fro yo tastes just like the cookie and is an awesome summertime treat. It's now part of my regular rotation at Yapple, along with original tart, dark chocolate and espresso.

I have been to Yapple three days straight now! I think this place is better than Sweet Ending or Phileo Yogurt, so there is no need to go into the city to get good frozen yogurt. The flavors are amazing, I have three flavors that I love here the green apple, blood orange, and the chocolate sorbert. There also so many toppings to choose from, I love the little balls filled w mango/orange flavor those things are so good and I haven't seen it any where else. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants some good frozen yogurt!

I had high hopes for Yapple Yogurt, but I went there only to find it was a disorganized mess. There is no one to greet you when you walk in the store to tell you how things work, so I promptly got in the self-serve yogurt line, and watched as the person in front of me stuck their fingers under one of the fro-yo dispensers and dispensed the yogurt onto her fingers. I said something to her, because this is completely unsanitary. But, in fairness to this person, most fro-yo places have little sample cups that allow you to taste the yogurt before you fill up your cup. I complained to one of the workers about this, and he told me that people can ask for samples if they want them-of course there are no signs that say-"Don't stick your fingers in the yogurt-ask for samples." The checkout line was also disorganized as people kept butting in front of me to pay for their yogurt. As for the yogurt taste, it was only ok. It had a bit of an icy flavor, that lets you know that this place is not up to the level of a Pinkberry or Red Mango. I also prefer the flavors at Tutti Fruitti yogurt in Philadelphia. Berri Yummi yogurt in DE, is also better than Yapple and they are much better with crowd control and greet each guest when they walk in the store.

Love this place!! Best toppings I've ever seen at a frozen yogurt place. Love the cookie dough and all the others they have lined up. People are always so friendly there, and the price is better than other similar yogurt places. Gooooo Yapple!!!!

I think this place has a great concept and a pretty good design. There are things I hope get updated (see Vikki S.'s list) plus it would be nice to have more than one size cup available. Overall, though, I'm glad this is part of the neighborhood - and just in time for summer!

yapple is still great!! with all the new froyo places opening up on the main line, this one will still be my favorite. the levers have loosened, and the kinks are being worked out. there are jillions of toppings and a rotation of flavors. i have friends who live in center city who drive here to get a treat because its so amazing. beware though, it gets sooooo busy at certain times of day its super crowded and hard to get in/find a place to sit/get out. i went today and was the only one in the shop! i also got a frequent buyer pass, scan it every time and once you hit 90 oz, you get 10oz free!!!!! keep up the good work yap.

I'm still on the fence about this place. I should say that I'm not a big fan of ice cream, so there's that. The froyo (if it really is froyo--tasted more like watered down ice cream) was fairly bland and not very tasty. But the toppings are AWESOME and I love, love, love that I can do it myself. the first few days the place has been a mob scene (mostly due to the fact that they gave out everything for FREE on day 1--amazing!!!), so I will not fault them for the disorganization and nasty people sticking their fingers in the froyo. They had tons of staff members who, in my opinion, were going out of their way to be helpful and really nice. But my favorite part was that there was something for everyone--my son just likes to get some of every flavor with no toppings, my husband only likes vanilla with lots of nuts on top, my daughter likes a few flavors with fruit on top, and I got almost no froyo (not a fan) and tons of toppings of all different types (yes, it was basically a cup of candy, but whatever, I was happy). They did a great renovation and it's just fun to sit in there. We have already been back two more times--it's a great addition to the very boring ice cream scene in our area. Also, it says they are adding other items like smoothies and bubble tea. Can't wait to taste the fruit smoothies! Oh, and I should add that we paid $13 for four HUGE cups (mine was mostly only candy, as I already mentioned), which I thought was more than reasonable. We would have paid probably twice that at Maggie Moos for the same amount of ice cream.

Excellent FROYO! Best in the area. I wish they had more tart flavors and that they had the lychee topping like they have out west. Other than that, my kids love this place! It is always kept very clean and the prices are not bad. We love going here.

Reasonably priced for a yogurt place. Has a good selection of flavors and toppings. Too many high school students in the evening--really noisy.

My wife and I didn't care for it. Perhaps it was an off-night but the strawberry topping tasted of freezer burn and the pineapple chunks were cut too close to the core and had a woody edge.

Just in time for summer. Went to Yapple for the first time over the weekend and was very impressed. Tried the green apple and something else (can't remember) and it was delicious. Threw some berries on that, maybe some nerds, possibly some swedish fish (I like candy) and it was everything and more that I expected. To address some of the previous reviews....I didn't really think it was too hard to figure out that it was self-serve once you walk in as all the yogurt is lined up against the back wall and everyone is serving themselves (follow the leader). From the yogurt machines, you just follow down the line till you get to the toppings, take a spoonful of whatever you want and you're good to go weigh your finished masterpiece. Pretty simple. It's true, the place was very crowded when I was there and it wasn't even the first day, but this should say something about the product. To sum up Yapple I would say it is "Deliciously Fun"......I can't really compare to other froyo shops, I've been to either Pinkberry or Red Mango I think and from what I remember Yapple is just as good or better.

Management knows little about their product and less about customer service. Sure the yogurt is tasty, but... I inquired about whether the sorbet is "non dairy" as I have a severely allergic child. The person I spoke with checked with someone in the back and told me that it was "FDA Certified as dairy free." After my child ate it he had a severe allergic reaction. I called the store to inquire about the ingredients. When I called, the first thing that I was asked was whether I had spoken with a manager--as if that mattered. Then I requested that the person I was speaking with--the manager--check the ingredients. Lo and behold, the "dairy free" chocolate sorbet contained skim milk. Not quite dairy free. Well, while my child was having an itchy throat and difficulty swallowing, the "manager" apologized. When I suggested that he should be more familiar with his product and that under the circumstances his apology was underwhelming, he responded that there was really nothing more he could do--and that was that. The response--especially in a retail setting--and especially when the mistake is clear--and especially when someone's health has been endangered by thetheir ineptitude --that there is "nothing more I can do" seems to me to be woefully inadequate. Don't care how tasty the yogurt might be, we won't be going back...And given the magnitude of their error and the failure to appreciate that, it behooves their clientele to think twice about patronizing a food service establishment that seems not to grasp or take seriously issues relating to the health of their customers... PS to those with comments about the allergists across the street, or with opinions about parenting skills...this post was about management's response to a problem. Even if the problem is created by the customer (and anyone with a reasonable amount of insight would know that this is not the case here), it is management's job to address that problem in an effective fashion.

AMAZING. Great toppings, incredible yogurt flavors. I wish they had frequent shopper cards. Totally different than Sweet Green and you cant even compare it to Saxbys. The blood orange yogurt was to die for.

Yapple Yogurt hits the spot on a hot day. Enjoyed sampling their wide variety of flavors. Agree with a previous review about adding banana as a possible new flavor - think it would be popular. My only complaint is the way in which people and children handle the dispensing machines should be addressed. Near the beginning of the line there is a tiny bottle of hand sanitizer, and on a busy day I did not see one person use it. Perhaps if there was a sign to "please cleans hands first," along with a LARGE bottle of sanitizer that is easily seen, this would help. Additionally I don't feel very young children should be getting yogurt themselves. An additional sign perhaps stating "must be over 10 yrs. old to operate" or whatever would be nice. The little ones literally have their hands all over the place, and that is neither sanitary nor appetizing. Additionally the cashier was eating yogurt herself while checking people out. Not a good idea, and am sure that shouldn't be permitted.

My frozen yogurt obsession is getting dangerous. This is the second different place I've hit up today. I was in the area, and decided to add another froyo place to my list. The fact that they had a check in deal to offer helped. This place is basic. 12 flavors, kind of in the middle of the spectrum of what these places offer. 49 cents an ounce is standard. Good amount of toppings available. The staff was very nice, and I noticed they did a lot of cleaning while I was there. Good touch. The free cups of water were available at the counter. It's getting so I expect it at these places. I sampled a few flavors. The Candy Bar Mashup was probably the one that hit me the most. It was kind of like tasting a Snickers bar in a yogurt. That's the one I might drive back for. Cookies and cream was pretty good. The chocolate here tastes a little better than most places make it. The banana cream yogurt was probably a little too tart for my taste. 3 stars feels right to me on this place. But it is a solid 3 stars.

With a proliferation of quality yogurt places in and around the Main Line area, I have to say Yapple, in Wymewood, does not measure up. First of all, despite posted hours, they are not open on time. Second, don't plan on having Yogurt when they "open" because you will be told, as we were, "there is no yogurt now." Top This n Narberth, along with others nearby, are so much better, not as loud, better staff and much better management.

This is my go-to frozen yogurt place because of its proximity to my school's campus. The flavors of yogurt are dependable, though not overly adventurous. The chocolate is solid, and the snickerdoodle is really great. I am also a fan of the cookies and cream. I would normally give this place a three because it's solid and not much about it is really one-of-a-kind (it's very similar to other fro-yo places), except for their chocolate awesomesauce... which always seduces me. It's so good! It reminds me of liquid Crunch bars-- and I love Crunch bars. Definitely a must-try. The rest of their toppings have a good variety with the fruits and candy, though I don't recommend putting fresh CUT fruit (like strawberries) on fro-yo, because the yogurt is so cold that it effectively freezes fresh fruit. Go with berries like raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries instead. Overall, I would much rather go here than to an ice cream place because the toppings are great! However, this fro-yo place is as good as any of the other fro-yo places in the area-- it just happens to be the closest, so I frequent it more often.

Awesome Sauce. Period. The toppings are better and the yogurt tastes realer; no fake banana tastes or the like. My only complaint: the price is n a TV, not printed. This leads me to believe they change their price on a whim. I see this as a less honest practice. I'm always partial to chocolate on chocolate, in Yapple's case it was the chocolate sorbet with the brownie chunks, crushed peanut butter cups, and awesome sauce. Pure heaven.
