Who knew healthy could taste so good? Honeygrow is a great balance of taste, health, and innovation. HG is hip little spot where you order with kiosks similar to those at Wawa. You can fully customize your grub or you can be like me and take the suggested meals to save time. I was half expecting the kiosk to detect I was an SUV driver or conservative, and shutdown on me. (kidding of course) The crowd seemed to be mostly female, and everyone looks very fit and healthy. It reminds of the crowds I see at marathons. Its a nice place to meet like minded people if you're into health and fitness. The soda fountain was very cool with locally brewed pure kane sodas and organic teas. Or you could go with a Kale smoothie and add few months to your life. I'm almost tempted to give them 5 stars, but where as the food was good, it didnt blow me away. So we'll settle on 4. Definitely a place to check out though.

I have to admit I was SO EXCITED when I saw this place outside of Philadelphia, I always went when I lived in center city. Went for lunch yesterday with my friend, it's a great location and big enough to accommodate a large lunch crowd. Plenty of computer screens for ordering and seating. Love the organic sodas too! A little different from the center city location but it works much better with their whole concept I think. My stir fry was delicious and all the ingredients were incredibly fresh as usual. Will absolutely be back, I can't wait!

The concept of Honeygrow is pretty cool- a more "modern" wawa-like ordering system, a glowing interior, and locally-sourced ingredients. Of course, locally-sourced doesn't necessarily mean healthy, and despite the vibe Honeygrow seems to give out, it can be pretty damn easy to create your own heart-stopping 3000 calorie stir fry, but with some discipline it's definitely possible to create a healthy meal here too. In addition, the staff are typically friendly and on the last visit the (I assume) manager was walking around asking everyone how everything was. The complaints: First, I cannot find nutrition information ANYWHERE. This is not a mom and pop shop, it's basically a chain now and they should have even basic nutrition information for their stir fries. Stir fries tend to take a while to make. Even when there's no one ahead of me, it is usually a 10 minute or so wait. And they're expensive-- especially if you deviate at all from the suggested stir fries. Adding an additional "protein" is pricey, and it seems that it just results in reducing the amount of the first meat, rather than getting twice as much. For the price (usually $10+ stir fries), there really seems to be A LOT of noodles and not much meat. Finally, on the past two occasions in a row now, ordering salad dressing on the side has resulted in me coming home to find no salad dressing was included at all. Undoubtedly a great place to have nearby, but there are some definite improvements that could be made.

Definitely one of my favorite fast lunch stops on the main line and center city on 16th near Sansom Street. Great salads, stir fryer and fruits with honey. Touch tone screens for personal orders makes your selection open to all your likes being added in and dislikes being discarded. And all the produce is farm fresh and primarily local. Love it and so do my kids.

Honeygrow is a good place to get a quick lunch. I got the stir fry with noodles and it was pretty good. The service here is great and the employees are friendly. The price was reasonable for the area and the amount of food they give you. I would go back.

My wife and never heard of Honeygrow until we found it in Philly. It's a Philly only based restaurant started by a guy who got bored with his packed lunches at his office job. Now he owns a collection of stores where you order healthy, but good meals from a touch screen TV when you walk in. My wife made her own and I got the Sesame noodles (no need for regular sauce, get the light sauce option).

Honeygrow is a nice healthy option for eating around Radnor and Wayne. There are a lot of stir-fry and salad combinations for people, or the ability to make your own. They use the Wawa-style ordering system for everything. Honeygrow offers their own sodas, teas, and smoothies which are quite nice. I cannot comment on the honeybar, though, as I have not tried it. The combinations are nice, but I do wish they would offer more sauces. The downside is Honeygrow is popular, and I expect it to remain so. It can take longer to get your food than you might wish. If you go during peak lunch hour, expect to wait.

Nice open space. Clean. But these guys need a chef! The food and ingredients are fresh...but the sauce/prep needs improvement - BIG TIME. Disappointing given its location and ambience.

Let me start off by saying, I am the first to support restaurants that use local farmers, but.... I am not an advocate of overpriced noodles. I decided to try Honeygrow after I noticed one opened by my house in Radnor. Great vibe and I see where they are trying to go with it. I ordered the Sesame Garlic w/ steak. $9.75 A bit overpriced for what your getting. Only got 4 tiny pieces of steak in my bowl and tasted meh.

Honeygrow in Radnor was great when it first opened. a little slow, because they were working out the kinks, but things were hot, tasty and accurate. things have changed, however. lately i feel like it's a crapshoot, for the employees trying to get my order correct. i don't order anything strange or unusual. typically one of the pre-built noodle bowls, with one or two modifications (such as substituting chicken for tofu). too often i find that there are extra ingredients or missing ingredients. the staff seems to have stopped cooking the onions at all, so i end up skipping the onion, only to find that they still gave me raw onion in my meal. i was really disappointed by my last meal there, when i found uncooked chicken in my noodle bowl. i ordered it with chicken, most of it was cooked. however there were pink mushy bits of uncooked meat in the box, causing me to throw it away. this is unacceptable and will be reported to the PA department of agriculture. you need to have better food handling procedures. i'm not sure if i will be back

Made my own stir-fry bowl and was pretty happy with it. They have fresh ingredients and let you customize your plate. Will definitely be back if in the area.

Honeygrow is convenient and delicious! The staff is friendly as well. I am typically not a huge stir fry person but the stir fry at Honeygrow is amazing! I have tried the egg white noodles with different combinations of veggies and it tastes great every time. I have also tried the salads and honey bar and enjoyed those as well. The portion sizes are big. We often eat here when we are too lazy to cook but do not want to eat junk. It is a nice option to have in the area. My only complaints are that they need more seating and the seating area is not very inviting. Can't go wrong with a visit to Honeygrow!

When time and money are both scarce, Honeygrow is a great place to grab a healthy meal that is quickly-prepared and inexpensive. Honeygrow offers two types of dishes: salads and stir-frys. Service - When I walk in, I'm always pleasantly greeted with a smile and a cheerful "Welcome to Honeygrow." There is a staff member floating around who will check in to see how you're enjoying your meal. [Honeygrow doesn't offer table service, it's more fast food style, but this attention to customer service is very nice.] Food - I always get the same thing: a mesclun green salad with roasted sweet potatoes, roasted Brussel sprouts, mango-cilantro quinoa, tofu, wasabi peas, & white balsamic vinaigrette. I love the sweet starchiness of the potatoes and the slightly bitter and tangy Brussels. The acidity from the dressing cuts the heavy toppings, and the mild wasabi peas offer a pleasant crunch. This salad costs $8.60. I most appreciate the fact that they never skimp on the toppings. While I rotate between Whole Foods' salad bar and Honeygrow, I always get more of what I want at a lower price at Honeygrow.

bigger and much better than the location in center city. they are quicker and more organized and the salads are just as good. everyone I know who works on the main line eats here regularly!

It's true that this place gets crazy busy during lunch... but it is worth the wait, in my opinion. The stir fries are just out of this world. Normally I scoff at ordering stir fry in a restaurant since I make them all the time at home, but this was a whole other level: thin, chewy egg noodles doused in a silky garlic sauce with fresh vegetables, super tangy pickles and a sprinkling of fried onion bits. I also added shrimp to mine, so it filled my stomach perfectly without being too much food. I will definitely be back.

Just went here! Beautiful layout that is efficient and stylish!! There are many touch screen order computers when you walk in, so you barely have to wait in a line. Orders are fast and efficient! Staff were friendly and excited about this new store! Prices are kinda steep, but you get a decent amount that will last you for two meals, plus the food quality it great! All very fresh and nicely displayed! They'll do a great business being across from RHS. Just a heads up though! They are very generous with everything--especially when it comes to sauce and dressing!! I ordered a stir fry with "light" sauce and I found my food had a hefty amount mixed it. I can't imagine a "heavy" amount. There is an option to order sauce on the side! Next time ill do that! My desert was good, but again, they really loaded up on the honey. I felt like the server dumped half the bottle of honey o top of my fruit. It made it very yummy, but also highly caloric! That would be a once in a while treat then. Or I could ask for the honey on the side.

Usually the food is good and nice and healthy, but unfortunately the service is slow and they ALMOST ALWAYS screw up your order. You have to double check before you leave the place.

(4.5) ~ Very Good Overall Food & Service:) Love how they try and use locally sourced & organic ingredients. OUR GOTO MENU: * Create Your Own Stir-Fry ~ w. Black & Brown Rice(which soaks up sauces better than noodles); Coconut Red Curry Sauce(our favorite sauce;) Beef; Eggs; Red Onions; Scallions; Kale; Sesame Seeds; & Portabella Mushrooms = (4.5) Very Good! * Mocha Cherry Elixr Smoothie(Coffee, Chocolate, Dried Cherries, Bananas, & Vanilla) = (4) very good * Black Tea(unsweetened) = (4) very good * FountainHead Cola(Cane Sugar) = (3.5) Good * Honey Bar = (4) very good ~ Buckwheat Honey; Bananas; Dark Chocolate Chips; & Homemade Whip Cream:) NOTES: There are (4) kiosks w. touchscreens to place your order. Then they'll call your Order number when it's ready. They have chopsticks & Siracha sauce at a side station. And the food is served in a "Chinese Take-out" style packaging for easy Take-out(if needed:)

I'm a big fan of the honeygrow concept. I've visited this location a few times, and overall its great food but they still seem to be working out the kinks. Every stir fry and salad combination I've tried has been very good. The touch screen ordering system allows you to easily create custom orders. I'm a big fan of the food quality, but the system here could definitely use some process improvements. The lines for waiting and ordering are not clearly separated so there is always a big mass of confused people. To get to the order area you need to go through the waiting zone, which makes no sense. Its so bad that they have two employees just doing crowd control. While the touch screen is great, the way they distribute your order by shouting a number seems very archaic. How about a screen displaying ready orders, order buzzers like Panera, or even handing out numbers like Smashburger? I can't imagine actually eating in at this place to hear people screaming numbers the whole time you are trying to hold conversation. The bathroom is another part of this restaurant which could be improved too. There is no way to exit the bathroom in a sanitary fashion. The mens room has a handle to exit, and no paper towels. So basically every time you exit the men's room you're touching someone else's junk. I love the food, but there is definitely room for improvement with the overall customer experience.

Best "fast food" (if you van even call it that). Incredibly fresh ingredients & great options! Love their stir frys and salads! Delicious, healthy and completely customizable (which is the best part)!

Picture Chipotle for stir-fry. This place is fantastic. Amazing flavors, great ingredients, and great service. I don't know who their competitors are, but I'd imagine they have them all beat.

Food is ok (honey bar is awesome ) but service is ridiculously slow. If your looking for an option that is healthy and quick this is not the place. It would take as much time to sit at a full service restaurant most of the time. I have been here 5 times and the shortest wait was 25 minutes when there were only a few patrons. Today I waited 55 minutes to get my stirfy.Obviously something is not working. Get a better operating model because 4 cooks and having them wash their own pan between cooks is obviously not working. It's an issue at all locations but this is the worst. I won't be returning.

Love the food, but waited 25 minutes for a take-out stir fry at 5:30 on a Sunday evening.

Great custom made food. Honey Grow employee Rashidah takes great care of all customers and assures that all food is delivered as ordered- she is pleasant and efficient. Great addition to the main line

The staff was rude and uninviting. The food is mostly bland and unexciting. There are plenty of other lunch and dinner options in Wayne or Bryn Mawr.

Stopped in today for a late lunch with my sister and was pretty excited to eat healthy. We put in our order together and while my sister got her stir fry and fountain soda cup, I stood there waiting for 20 minutes until I finally asked the cashier where my salad and kale shake was. Turns out their receipt paper jammed and missed my order so they apologized and quickly made it for me. They were very kind and apologetic but when I sat down to eat my salad, there was no chicken like how I ordered. I then approached the same cashier to let him know and he, again, quickly gave me a small side for me to add to my salad. Although it could have gone much better, I can't express any hate because of how kind the staff was. I'm hoping to go again and have a smoother experience. Much thanks to the kind man who took very good care of me.

This place was so good when it first opened - but lately it seems like they've been cost cutting. The chicken in the Persampiere salad tastes like it was cooked weeks ago and refrigerated. Some of the lettuce is spotted and wilted. The stir fry just isn't as good as it used to be. We used to eat here a couple of times a week because it was healthy, fresh and tasty, but after a few disappointing visits we may be dropping it out of our rotation. It's a shame. Honeygrow, please bring the quality back up!

A coworker introduced me to honey grow and I am so glad he did. Although it gets crowded around lunchtime it's worth the wait. The portions are big (I eat half for lunch half for dinner), it's fairly heathy, all local ingredients, reasonably priced and delicious! Eating healthy can be a bummer sometimes when you are left feeling like you just ate a bowl of grass but honey grow does not have that problem. The lemon miso noodles are a favorite.

I am thrilled we now have a healthy "fast" food option in the burbs. Love the concept, and our local Temple grads have done very well executing it. Whether I order stir-fry, salad, honey bar or smoothie, I have not been disappointed, and I have tried almost everything. Their "suggested" stir fries or salads can be customized and are prepared to order with a wide variety of choices. I am a regular!

    (5)
  • Kelly H.

Standing here waiting on my smoothie for 5+ minutes in a nearly empty store while I watch two employees talk behind the counter and not even check the order screen. Seriously? A little professionalism/sense of urgency would be appreciated.

  • Kamper G.

Mehhh. The one on City Line is much better. The staff they have here is unspeakably rude. It's a good concept idea but they really need to work out the kinks. This place is supposed to be brand new and it looks dirty and worn down already. Also, they forgot to put in two out of the three veggies I paid extra to have added into my stir fry. Lastly, there's no where to sit and I hate that I can't order online. It's nothing to shout from the rooftops about. It's edible lunch substance, but by no means is it "delicious."

    (2)
  • Lola T.

Of course the food taste good (I only put the ingredients I want... and it's stir fry! How can it go wrong!!!) But not only the food is good, but the employees are so nice. My toddlers love their gluten free stir fry rice too! Love love this place.

    (5)
  • Polly E.

My God, Honeygrow is so tasty. I love that you can order one of the specials or make your own. I am partial to the shrimp or tofu with rice noodles and medium spicy sauces. The only problem with all of the Honeygrow's I have been to is they do not have enough seating and are MASSIVELY busy during lunch hours so only go if you get a full hour lunch break.

GREAT food, quick service, very affordable at less than $10 for your average meal. Great portions. Healthy and delicious. Just go. It won't be your last trip there!

All hail Honeygrow! Whoever wrote that 1 star review is CRAZY. The staff in Radnor has always been extremely warm and helpful every time I've gone in (at least once a week), and to say the food is bland and unexciting? Considering everything you order is 100% customizable, that comment makes no sense.. apparently this particular person doesn't know how to put flavorful, fresh, local food together in a way that tastes good. This place is an absolute gem and I'm so happy they opened up a location in Radnor. While there are a lot of restaurant choices in the area, there are very limited options if you'd like to grab a quick, flavorful, and HEALTHY meal.. and Honeygrow fills that void. For under $10, I leave with a huge, colorful salad (generously portioned, I can usually make two meals out of it) or a hearty, vegetable-filled stir fry. Their choices for pre-made combinations are delicious on their own, but I really enjoy customizing my meals and adding my own favorite vegetables and additions in. I can only speak to the takeout experience (vs the sit down), but if you like to eat clean, locally sourced, healthy food and care about what goes into your body, WHILE having delicious flavors and textures.. this is for you. I'm a self-declared foodie, and this place is like a Wawa for foodies, but a thousand times better. (Typed while eating the most divine "Create Your Own" Kale and Spinach salad with a rainbow of veggies and grilled chicken.) Keep up the good work, Justin and the team at Honeygrow Radnor!

Extremely impressed with both the service and food. After much talk and recommendations I finally decided to try Honeygrow for the first time. Upon arrival I was impressed with the friendliness and willingness to help from the employees. Finally decided what to get and wow the stir-fry is out of this world. Lived up to expectations and more. The place was extremely clean and a kind, young gentleman walked around to each table seeing how everyone was doing. I will definitely be sharing my experience with others and returning!

  • Emily C.

YES! I am not shy about my love for Honeygrow. And the Radnor location did not disappoint. Two comments though - please work on the tofu. It is not prepared the same way as the tofu at the Center City location, and that was kind of a bummer. Also - was a little unclear where dirty dishes belonged. Maybe a sign would be helpful??

  • Kate G.

I really want to like this place. Great quality local ingredients. First time ordered a stir fry with custom ingredients but noodles were too overpowering. Second time tried stir fry in lettuce wrap. Lettuce wasn't properly washed and the sauce, which I requested"light" was so watery it ran down my arm when I tried to eat it. Will try again but not sure what is a safe bet :(

I'm a huge fan of honeygrow. I often order take out with a group from work for lunch. The stir fry is very tasty - you can customize it or choose a standard option. I recommend the red coconut curry or the sour cherry bbq sauces with wheat noodles and a range of your favorite vegetables with shrimp for protein. Honesty you can't really go wrong with the stir fry - the rice and noodle are good, the sauces are delicious and the vegetables are always fresh! The salad has prefixed choices and a customizable option. I prefer to create my own and put my favorites fruit and veggies in it topped off with white balsamic vinaigrette. Finally, the kale'atta smoothie is extremely yummy. It has kale, banana, pineapple, and mint - very fresh and also vegan! The ordering system is awesome! Honeygrow has these touch screens to place orders whether they are customizable or the standard prefixed options. The interface is user-friendly and it's very easy to make changed to the order as needed The only reason I gave this place a 4/5 instead of a full 5 is that they sometimes make mistakes with orders. They have sometimes forgotten the right salad dressing or one time did not put any of the requested vegetables. I know mistakes can happen especially with larger orders but this has happened consistently when ordering from honeygrow Overall: Delicious stir fry and salad, very customizable, however, there are often mistakes with some of the orders.

This 5 star rating is against its peers, and by that I mean fast lunch places. Honeygrow wins on value, taste, cleanliness, service, ease of ordering and it was actually fairly fast. I saw around 20 people ahead of me and was worried. But between my ordering time of 12:27 and arrival of food at 12:35, I was impressed. And I ordered a stir fry, which takes longer than a salad. Honeygrow's concept is simple, stir fries, salads and smoothies. All are as fresh and as local as possible, which works for things like chicken and some salad greens, maybe not so much for bananas and pineapple, ha ha. I had the garlic and chicken stir fry and it was great. They are not afraid to use the spice, which I appreciate. It was hot and perfectly cooked, also. You can customize anything on the menu too. All ordering is via a touch screen, which is actually easy to use. Great place, I will be back!

Have eaten here twice for lunch. Food is tasty though it can be difficult to figure out just the right combination from all of the choices. Nice selection of options for creating your own noodle stir fry or salad - especially for vegetarians. The self order with the touchscreen is helpful for visualizing your order and the iPads at some of the dining seating are amusing (lots of random pics of previous diners) and nice if you're dining alone. The decor is a little austere for my tastes and sound echoes so it gets a bit noisy when the restaurant is full. Otherwise - fast food, ok service, with fresh and local and some organic fare. Reasonably priced for the area too though the cost adds up for a full family meal.

  • Reem C.

Having been to the location in Center City, this location should get nothing less than a four star rating. I went during what would be considered the high traffic lunch hour and I may have waited no more than 10 minutes for my order, which is not bad at all. I haven't tried their salads yet, but I love to get the stir fry with either the white rice noodles or the mix of black and brown rice. I usually create my own stir fry because you can go crazy and add almost anything you wish. I love the sour cherry BBQ sauce because it has a sweet and tangy taste. Parking in the area can be a little tricky, considering the other restaurant choices in the area.

I'd probably avoid this place during the lunch hour, but I'm a fan. I have to admit one of the main reasons I like Honeygrow is that I can order from a touch screen and they have fountain sodas with cane sugar. They are also fast getting you in and out, although like I said, I can't imagine they have much seating during the lunch hour. I'm still working my way through their menu, but I've tried both their salads and stir-frys and haven't been disappointed yet. Definitely recommend them if you're looking something different for lunch or dinner and need to be in and out fast. PS: This location is actually in Radnor, not Wayne.

I have eaten lunch here about 6 times since it has opened, and have been very satisfied every time. You get your money's worth in quantity and high quality, and there are endless combination possibilities when customizing your dish. I usually get a rice or egg noodle stir-fry bowl and load it up with veggies -- sometimes I add tofu and/or shrimp, and I usually get the spicy garlic or red coconut curry sauce. The ingredients are fresh and so delicious. Only one time was an ingredient accidentally omitted, but they quickly and apologetically brought me a bowl of it when I brought it to their attention. The fountain drinks are made with real sugar; I prefer the iced green tea. I have yet to try their salads, but have heard good things from friends and coworkers who have had them. (And the salads can accommodate the gluten-free crowd, since you are basically creating whatever you order.) They get very busy during the lunch hour (12-1pm) but they move pretty quickly. I have always found the employees to deliver good service, too. I will most definitely be back, and recommend you give it a try!

  • Michelle T.

Love this place! Always fresh tasting and plenty of options for modifying your meal! I usually go for the stir fry and really enjoy the sesame garlic sauce (which is like a soy sauce). I've tried the spicy garlic and it's a little too spicy for me, although being nine months pregnant may have something to do with that! I've only gotten veggie stir fry, even though I do eat meat. I feel like there is plenty of veggies and flavor, that I don't miss the meat in it. Very clean, lunch can be very busy so it's best to go before or after the business person rush. Definitely worth a try!
