Decor and music is usually fair, but like all places downtown--it's plagued by transients and does little about it. When my pal is the barista at the bar, the drinks are reliably delish, although that's probably the case in similar situatons! A lot quieter and more laid back than either The Break or Liquid Planet. All depends on what you're going for, really--but they do have the best Wi Fi of all the downtown coffee shops.

Pretty good drink. Nice atmosphere, but it was so surprisingly dead for such a large place. The barista was sweet, but didn't know where the beans came from, which isn't great, but not terrible. Would definately come back to relax.

Excellent coffee! We were traveling through Missoula and tried 3 different coffee shops. This coffee, by far, was the best! It had a laid back feel, not too fancy. I'd rather have great coffee rather than all the fluff of knick-knacks and decorations. I hope they ship their beans!

This Portlander says great coffee place. Comfortable ambiance and tasty medium roast coffee.

Zootown Brew is a great place to sit and work. It's one of my favorite "offices away from home." The decor is nice (brick and dark paint/wood) and they have pretty speedy free Wi-Fi. There's lots of space, and tables/seats are clean. The drip coffee is a bit pricey, $2 a cup (even with my own mug), but it tastes fine. I haven't really had any of the other menu items, but they offer the standard coffee shop fare: lattes, cappuccinos, Americano, pastries, soup, etc.

nice decor, average coffee not too exciting or special, parking is a hassle...nice chairs. quiet

I like their mocha's, they carry both soy vanilla and regular soy which many shops do not. That's great help when trying to avoid lactose or a dairy allergy. The breakfast bagels are yummy and they have a small but delicious assortment of local pastries daily. Great WiFi connection and they provide a private downstairs meeting space you can reserve or just use if it's not already reserved. Recently I noticed they added a large widescreen TV to the downstairs meeting space for presentations. The downstairs space can hold around 20 - 25 people so it works great for presentations. Service is great and friendly. Highly recommended!
