Love coming here for soups & sandwiches. Haven't tried their baked goods but they do look amazing! They also sell Wheat Montana bread, flour & other things. Their sandwiches are a little pricey at $8-$9 but if you go with the pick of the day you get half a sandwich, soup, a pickle & chips all for $7.49 that's a pretty good price. Come here if you're looking for a lighter lunch & enjoy soups & salads

Was in town on business and looking for a "lighter" lunch option. Had soup and a sandwich and it was great! They even sell their own breads, chips, etc. I want one of these in Austin!

The staff here was very friendly and helpful. I'm in town visiting friends and they recommended I stop by here for coffee and a cinnamon roll. When I got there they have a better selection of flavors for my latte than the Starbucks near my apartment. The cinnamon rolls are not your average cinnamon roll, and by that I mean they were almost the size of my head. Ok, not really, but they're huge. They have multiple different rolls to choose from so I needed the girl at the counter to make a recommendation. Caramel with almonds. Delicious. I had already gotten an almond flavored latte so that went great together! They were very patient as I text my friend asking what they wanted (apparently the soups come in 3 sizes). I took everything to go but the dining area looked nice, nothing super fancy, but clean.

This branch of What Montana is conveniently located next to Natural Grocer. If you're like me, it's dangerous to go grocery shopping when you're hungry. So you can pop into Wheat Montana and fill up (I highly recommend the French Dip, or their soups) and then get your groceries next door. When we're in town we also buy the giant bucket of 7 grain cereal. It's excellent as a cereal, or when used to make the cookie recipe on the package (extra yummy with both raisins and chocolate chips added). We also like the flour (whole wheat or unbleached white), chili mix, and the steel cut oatmeal. They stock a selection of their breads, buns, and rolls here as well as some ceramics (bowls, giant mugs, salt & pepper shakers).

I really like Wheat Montana, but this particular location is excellent because the staff is so great. Kind and helpful, unlike the Wheat Montana at the truck stop.

I have tremendously enjoyed the cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting and the caramel roll with and without almonds. They are humongous. They are delicious. They are really close to my house. They are going to make me fat. I'm cool with that.

Wow! This place is really over priced. Sorry guys I will not be back! The soup and sandwich are... meh....

I love Wheat Montana. They are all over the State and I've enjoyed them all. Great baked goods. I purchased bulk wheat from them also.

This place is too expensive and over rated for their food. The soups are okay flavors and the sandwiches are fresh tasting, but besides being a Montana brand they are nothing special. It's the same sandwich everybody makes, with the same boring ingredients. They don't have that extra flavor brands like Boudin SF has, nor the intriguing flavors. The sandwich I bought today was about the quality of flavor I could've made myself at home. I got charged almost $10 for the sandwich and soup combination! Way too much. Other deli places in town have way tastier ingredients and flavors for less. It's not terrible but very "meh".

Fresh bread and other baked goods...you have my attention. I stopped in once for a sandwich and a cup of soup (chili). The bread was sliced thick and the chili [heat] hot and tasty (not a hormel style thank goodness, but has some beans and veggies too). I have never seen it very busy but it is a nice place to pick up a sandwich. I will do this over subway or another major chain any day!

I come here for breakfast sometimes and they never disappoint. The eating area is quite large so it doesn't seem too cramped like other bakeries in town. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing and so are the wraps!

It's your basic sandwich shops. I had the Rueben which was greasy from too much dressing and the corn beef was thin and only supermarket quality. The bread was toasted and slightly burnt. But we didn't go for the food. Every Tuesday night the Black Mountain Boys (a bluegrass band) play and they were very enjoyable. So go for the music and the sandwiches taste OK, they're just not fantastic.

My wife went here the other day and had lunch and thought it was over priced for a sandwich shop (and soup). She brought me one of those strawberry croissants and it was nasty, I took one bite and the rest went in the garbage. I think I will not recommend this place.

I love going here for my morning muffin & latte (highly recommend the bran or marionberry muffins & hazelnut latte)! Their lunches are also good and very filling. Their wheat chili is one of my most favorite chilis in town, & they make a mean grilled cheese!

Known for their baked breads all over Montana, this bakery and sandwich shop is a great place to stop while in Missoula. They have yummy sandwiches and great baked goodies too.
