Unbelievable! This place is top notch, friendly and fast. You will not need a large, so much food!

I'm a very regular visitor here as this restaurant is close to my office and here is my feedback The Good: 1.The flavorful rice, choice of cheese, veggies and indian chutneys. 2. Faster service. 3. Well cooked and consistency. 4. And the best Gulab Jamuns. The Bad: 1. The chicken pieces in red fort and delhi dynamite are too large, I feel they should be finely chopped and well sautéed. 2. The tilapia fish in the Goa Catch dish is not fresh. 3. The veggies and desserts stock are not properly maintained. 4. The mango milk shake/ Lassi taste is not maintained consistently.

This is really good delivery food. People taking and delivering the order sounded nice. Parathas were delicious and crispy. I had the chicken tikka pronti. I think I should just ask for more chutney next time because it wasn't spicy enough. We had the aloo on the side and that was ok. I just wonder, why are the brownies sooooo good at an indian place? Also, we had asked for gulab jamun w/ our meals but they gave us the brownies but that's ok since they were omggg drool. The delivery guy said they also have a phone app that'll give you a $3 discount on your first order. I definitely will order from them again.

Stumbled upon this place today for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! The pronti wraps were phenomenal! We tried the paneer wraps (the Chandigarh) one with mint chutney and the other with hot and tamarind sauce.... So delicious! They came with a fudgey soft brownie which was yummy too! We also got mango lassi and gulab jamun, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Not to mention, everything was reasonably priced! We will DEFinitely be going back often!

Came here for lunch and got a pronti wrap. The pronti (soft Indian tortilla type bread) is flaky and soft and buttery. I had tandoori chicken with onions and cucumber. The chicken was so delicious and I put a little of their hot red sauce and the creamy mint chutney and it was so delicious! There's not much to eat in this area so it was nice to see something yummy and unique.

After doing reviews of restaurants in Needham, I bookmarked Pronti. After my coworker's husband raved and raved about Pronti, I knew we had to try it! After back-and-forth about what to order this weekend, my husband said "how about Indian?" and I said "yes! Can we try Pronti???" My coworker's hubby recommended the Patriot rice bowl with white yogurt, so that's what I got. My hubby got the Red Fort wrap with sweet tamarind sauce. I was definitely glad I got the rice bowl (the wrap was a bit too sweet for me). I loved mine - the flavors blended so nicely together and it was quite filling! His wrap came with a teeny little salad and 2 small brownies; mine came with nothing. We both agreed that it was good (probably better when you eat in, rather than take-out/deliver) and we would order from them again, but that it does not satisfy the "Indian" craving. As other reviewers have mentioned, it's not the Indian I'm used to, but it is good!

This review is not to rate their food but the very poor management. On Yelp, their website and the mobile app, this place has published timings for their establishment to be open for business but don't get fooled by that information as it is not accurate. Apparently they changed their hours of operations and failed to notify customers about it. More over, outside their establishment they have been advertising "We Are Open". As a courtesy to their customers the owners should invest little more time to update all their social media / Internet assets.

Restaurant is nicely decorated, but there is loud, annoying music playing from the TVs installed on the ceiling. The service is slow, it took around 30 minutes for the food to arrive. It might just be me, but some of the food is way too spicy, so if you're not a fan of spicy food, I don't recommend this place. The food, despite the spice, is good, but the mango lassi tastes terrible. Overall, I don't know if I would get food here again. EDIT: My dish wasn't supposed to be spicy, they just put the wrong sauce on it. -_-

First of all, I ordered a pronti as it was called on the menu, not knowing what I was about to receive, never really eating food with a heritage from India or Pakistan. It was AMAZING! So doing some research, I find out that "pronti'' is the Punjabi name for paratha, the delectably tender round bread that's almost as flaky and buttery as a croissant -- but far more useful as a sandwich platform. I also didn't know that Punjabi is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by 102 million native speakers worldwide, making it the 10th most widely spoken language in the world. Who knew? My Pronti had lamb, feta cheese, mint yogurt, cucumbers, lettuce and tomatoes. It was just one of the best sandwiches a person could make, simple and fantastic! The only knock on the place is the decor, it isn't to my taste, adequate but not appealing nor inviting. The "Indian MTV" videos playing on TVs were comical and slightly annoying at the same time, but perhaps targeted at someone other than a 40 something American male, so not a big deal, but just not for me. The other slight knock was the counter employee that took our order who didn't really know anything about the menu. My rating of 5 is for the food. Nice little brownie included with the order, very tasty as well. The side salad was bland, I didn't finish it. Just stick to the sandwiches. Go try it!

Pronti is so delicious and conveniently located close to work. Fairly priced and I like that you can double up your order for not much more than the cost of one pronti. Their brownies are out of this world. The signature prontis come with a bite size brownie and I have definitely previously ordered a full sized brownie to go with it...... it's that good.

  • Janhvi C.

Please avoid! The wrap seemed like a frozen roti and half way through my sandwich it turned soggy. The chutneys are watery and seem diluted. The mango lassi was probably in the freezer for too long and the silverware was not clean!

Their Friday special, butter chicken, is the best meal in Needham. Spicy - but not too spicy - rich, with a little bit of white yogurt. I can't get enough of this place. The prontis is are also fantastic and with all the combinations of toppings the variety is out standing. They give you a brownie bite with all the prontis- off the charts. The owners are great guys - I highly recommend this place.

This place is good to me. I confess hers for lunch and get the rice bowls. I am a hungry man and the bowls fill my up. The food is always consistent. I always enjoy watching Indian mtv while I wait. For more that is what makes this place special to me. It's something different. My only annoying thing is the menu. They never change the board prices. They just stuck sine radius in there and wrote in a number. That is not cool and it looks lazy and cheap on the owners behalf. There is a sign maker right next door. Get it done

You can't go wrong with Pronti. Just remember that this is not fast food. They take the time to cook the food the way you order it. I like that I can pick and choose what I get on my pronti because I'm sensitive to spicy things and can order it with other sauces. They serve prontis with a small side salad and a brownie and makes the perfect simple meal. The service is slow and your better off ordering ahead of time if your in a rush, if not they have have TVs and play music videos. I'd rather take the food to go because the seating is not very comfortable.

  • Varun M.

The best brownies in the world! The Pronti's are out of this world too. A Pronti is a wrap in an Indian bread. I'm not sure his to better describe it. However the bread is out of this world.

The number of places that deliver to where I live is abysmally low. The number of places that deliver that I actually like are even lower. And if I'm not in the mood for pizza or Chinese, well, forget it. Pronti Bistro was the one untapped delivery source and admittedly, after all my trials, I was setting myself up for disappointment. But I figured I at least had to try, and overall, I'm pretty glad I did. The delivery experience itself is a bit of a mixed bag. For one, I usually like to order delivery because I'm eating alone, so the $15 delivery minimum is a bit of an inconvenience, especially since most of their entrees cost about $7. I ended up having to order and extra salad and dessert. There's also a $2 delivery fee, but I've seen worse, plus I'm okay paying an extra $2 if it means I can order online. The delivery itself arrived within about half an hour, still warm, so that was nice. For $7 you can customize your sandwich quite a bit, including adding as many veggies as you like for no extra charge. About half the options were vegetarian, which is always rare for a sandwich place, so that was much appreciated. I ended up taking the Mumbai Madness, or potato sandwich, with tamarind sauce. The best part of the sandwich was definitely the bread - the warm chapati was fantastic and I was more than thrilled when I opened up a piece of tinfoil and found that they had given me extra pieces with my order. Maybe I'm just a wimp, but this sandwich was HOT. I wrongly assumed that since there were two different sauce choices specifically marked as extra hot that the sandwich itself would be a little milder, but I was wrong. Thankfully I had a tub of yogurt on hand to cool it down, but next time I may just opt for the mint yogurt as the sauce. Still, everything was fresh and it was overall a great sandwich. It also came with a small side salad and a surprisingly tasty brownie. I also ordered the Chaat Salad which I was less impressed by. For one thing the yogurt sauce was just poured on top of the salad and they didn't bother to mix it up and there was also just entirely too much of it. In hindsight I probably should have ordered the dressing on the side. Even without the dressing though, the veggies just weren't as flavorful as they were in the sandwich, and I ended up not being able to finish it. I also got two pieces of Gulab Jamun to get my order up to $15 which were great and a pretty good deal at 69 cents a pop (or $6 for a dozen). Honestly, just having a cheap option for delivery that's not Chinese or pizza is already seriously appreciated, and the fact that it's cheap Indian food makes it all that much better. Color me pleasantly surprised.

This place should get more business but the menu is super confusing. I'm glad I stuck it out and gave it a chance. It's absolutely delicious and unlike anything I've ever had. I had a wrap with bell peppers, tomato, mango chutney, tindoori chicken, and some greens. The kid at the counter was super friendly and kind. He included some yogurt in case I found it too spicy and this sweetness really set off the flavors and offset the spicy tindoori. I'll probably try it again with a friend. I love trying new flavors and this was some of the more original cuisine I've had in a sea of unadventurous people making the same thing as everyone else. Very satisfied! For the owners: find a few good combinations and make them menu items so people can get past the build-your-own intimidation. After the try something they like, they'll try to build their own as you've intended. As a customer, things with a steep learning curve can be intimidating, so you have to be accommodating of the less adventurous lemmings out there. Thanks for opening this business!

Here's the thing about Pronti Bistro -- the wraps are really. It would be nice if folks who had trouble choosing could just choose a wrap or bowl with all of the sauces and veggies already pre-ordained. But that is neither here nor there. The ambience is not great. I'm not from Needham, but it looks like Pronti bought out a cafe and kept all of the furniture and supplies. That would be OK on its own, but you add that to the "modified" ordering sign that now has prices written on duct tape. It just looks so slapdash. If I was driving by and decided to try Pronti rather than Panera, I would probably walk out when I saw the menu. The outside area also has some sort of tarp over it. Between that and the shattered window, the place looks kind of terrible from the outside. That said, take a chance on the food. It is tasty. Just don't expect much from the sides -- the salad is mostly iceberg lettuce and the small Indian dessert was a brownie. Tasty, but not Indian.

I wish I had thought of this idea. While the Bollywood music is a bit loud, the food is amazing and unique. I love that they use real cloth napkins and real silverware. Friendly service, too. I just with there was more parking.

I came in at late evening..Service was slow but the place looked very well kept. The guy who took my order was very friendly and the store had a lot of decor.. Flat screen tv was playing some indian television program. I ordered the red front chicken wrap with hot sauce, and the food was incredibly fresh. The wrap was perfectly cooked too.. Oh man, that wrap is amazing! I will definitely be coming back.

The food here is really good and you should definitely go here rather than the Panera across the street. Don't ask what a "Pronti" is, just order one. We happened to have a nice guy behind the counter who helped us with the confusing menu. The storefront has been very poorly maintained. Both we and other customers were tripping over a large tarp right outside the door. Inside, many problems seem to have been fixed with duct tape and the menu has been doctored with Sharpies. No ice in the soda machine. Weeds in the yard. If this place delivers to your area, just get delivery instead and I assume you will have all the delicious food and none of the worries about the building. Honestly this should just be a takeout place in a much smaller storefront as they can't seem to to do daily maintenance work.

eatstreet.com/pronti-bis… Three stars, it's okay. BE WARNED, this is not your typical Indian restaurant. And the owner told us that was his intention, he wanted to branch out a bit. It's more like "Indian-like favorites in a wrap." Like Tandoori chicken in a wrap. And you can get them in a rice bowl for a bit more. Pretty much you choose your theme (meat / meatless / paneer / sauce), veggie(s) and whatever. It was a touch pricy for what it is. Food quality was okay. Give it ... 3.5 for quality, 2.5 for price. The place looked a bit like a cafeteria / self-serve in terms of maintenance i.e., food bits on tables and floor. Bathrooms were clean and didn't smell. Ambience / decor is functional. Think he had some Bollywood videos playing on the tv near the registers.

I am a big, big fan of this place. When you want quick food that tastes incredible, this is my go-to location for takeout. First off, they are not traditional Indian cuisine by any means, so don't be confused about that. In fact, it's more like a Indian-fusion wrap shop (wrap is called a Pronti). I've tried both the chicken and the lamb options and have been pleased with both. And I highly recommend their mint yogurt (mild) or mango curry (medium) as sauce options. Although their side salad is a bit... small... I find their produce to be fresh, crisp, and colorful. There is something to be said about a restaurant that chooses only the best ingredients! Somewhat humorous is their self-proclaimed "small Indian dessert" included with their Signature Prontis. Turns out to be a very small cube of a brownie. It tastes great, but a) is sized more like an amuse bouche than a dessert, and b) isn't what you'd expect an Indian dessert to be like a Gulab jamun or the like. The owners are great guys - a family-run operation that appears to take great pride in their food and it shows in their work ethic as well. I recommend giving them a shot, just don't expect Chicken Tikka Masala or Nan bread when you get your order. This is really a specialty sandwich shop that manages to turn something simple into something fantastic.

Forget what anyone says about service yada yada, by far one of the most delicious wraps I've ever had, amazing blend of sauces and fresh roti. Got the channa masala and loved it.

Great food. Genuine, friendly staff. The concept is cool: 1. Pick a protein 2. Do you want a wrap or rice bowl? 3. Add some veggies and sauce. Simple. Delicious. Infinitely variable. Just stopped by for lunch after visiting my storage unit, then came back the next day for more. Can't wait to see you in Austin, TX.

Pronti Bistro was my first Indian food experience in Boston. I had the Agra adventure during the lent season. The eggplant wrap was spicy and Delish! The staff was kind to give me several mint sauces which helped balance the spicyness of the wrap. It was a good size wrap, I was able to save part of it for the next day.

  • Deven M.

I absolutely love this place! I always get the Red Fort which is the spicier version of chicken (Chicken Tandoori). In the beginning I used to get fresh jalapenos and the Red Hot sauce but I switched it up and got the White Yogurt with Red Hot on the side. The food is absolutely amazing and seems fresh. I choose to get the rice bowls because the pronti's are typically high in calories and fat. If you get the rice bowl, the price is fair, very comparable to Chipotle with an equal amount of food. My only thing is I wish it was open on Sundays but as far as everything else, its really good.

Kept passing the bistro by when going down the road, was curious, but would stop at Chipolte. One day when the line was too long at Chipolte, I went down the street to Pronti Bistro and I have not been back to that Chipolte since. A pronti is most easily described as an indian wrap. You order fillings from meat, chutneys, and veggies, and they wrap it in delicious warm indian bread. You can make a number of great combinations, particularly like the lamb with onions and tamarind chutney and the chicken with cucumbers and mint yoghurt. You can also order the food in a rice bowl. Never had one, but they look good. Breakfast menu looks interesting, but I'm never in the area at that time of day. While the prices have gone a bit to the high side, the food is freshly cooked with fresh ingredients. People who work there are super friendly. As it can be crowded during the lunch rush, I suggest calling your order in ahead.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. The most horrendous customer service I have ever received. I am very upset that I just created Yelp account to rate this restaurant. My friend and I went in around 11:40. Didn't know that they don't serve lunch at that hour but that's okay. The guy at the register was very rude; he talked as if we were very dumb for trying to order from lunch menu. I said I want an omelette and he told me that I can't have omelette. Then, he told us that they can only make Boston Nashta and Punjab Nashta. Why couldn't he tell us earlier?! So, out of your entire menu, you can only offer two things?! Sure, it's not cashier's fault that menu was limited, but he could have been friendly, or at least not have an attitude to tell us about it. I ordered Boston Nashta "two scrambled eggs and cheese with your choice of bacon, ham, or sausage, wrapped in pronti". When I got it, the wrap ONLY had the two scrambled eggs in it -_-. Where is the "bacon, ham, or sausage?" He said I didn't tell him what I wanted so he didn't put anything in it. Well, I don't proofread the menu. Also, since he limited my choices, I picked the option with more protein. Of course, he just couldn't ask me if I wanted the other half in the wrap. So I paid $5 for scrambled egg? He said "the menu is self-explanatory, you just didn't read it." ARE YOU JOKING ME?! Isn't it "self-explanatory" that since you work at at a restaurant, your job is to provide customer service? You didn't even ask me what kind meat I wanted and just assumed that I don't want anything? He did not understand why I was upset with his service. In fact, he started arguing back and yelling at me. Eventually the chef, or whoever it was in the kitchen, came out and had to sort the situation by remaking the wraps. Still, I don't understand why that took so long and had to involve raised voices. This restaurant needs to educate their workers on customer service.

Pronti Bistro is fantastic. The food is fresh and delicious, the owners and other staff are really nice. Although everything I've tried there is tasty, I could probably eat the Lucknow Special with mint yogurt every day and never get tired of it...thanks, Pronti!

This place is great! I cannot even understand how the Panera stays in business across the street from here. The price is also extremely attractive, and it is fairly healthy. The food could be described as "Indian Taco" or "Indian Wraps." The breakfast is also A+. Try the Red Fort, try the Potato Pranti!!

As somebody that doesn't usually enjoy Indian food, I'm a big fan of pronti. My analogy is that they serve Indian Gyros. Food is great, options are plentiful, and the owners are great guys. I recommend the Red Fort Chicken with yogurt sauce.

Very cool little spot along Highland ave. I'm not a big indian food guy, but they make a tasty little sandwich. I phoned in my order and the person that answered was very nice and listed off all the options I could get with my delhi dynamite pronti. For a drink I recommend the smoothies. I got a banana smoothie and it hit the spot. Price for lunch costs around $10, which isn't bad in this area. There is parking in the rear, and a few spaces off to the side.

  • Chrissy L.

It's pricey if you plan on getting full. i ordered a single chicken pronti, around $8, which came with salad (very small) and dessert (small cube of brownie that tasted like it was made out of a box, but worse). Still hungry after the pronti. It's kind of like getting a half of a wrap. Tasty, loved the yogurt sauce, but just wasn't enough food for the money. If you could get a double pronti for $8 then i'd be back in a flash. with the same money i'd go to chipotle or if it's lunch time, the blue ribbon BBQ truck nearby! i do have to give props to the guy at the counter. very nice and helpful.

I went to this place for the first time today and I might be in love. I got the Chandigarh Pronti, which was perfect since I don't like super spicy indian food. For those who don't know (and I didn't), Paneer cheese is kind of like a mix between tofu and mozerella. It was delicious, seasoned perfectly, and all the veggies were incredibly fresh. Since it's just down the street from my office, Pronit Bistro will probably become a regular choice for lunch.

Stopped in here by accident really...missed the right into Panera...and saw the sign while sitting at the stop light. It turned out to be a great pick. I am the occasional Indian food purveyor, so all this talk about fresh this and frozen that...I wouldn't have a clue if you slapped me in the face. But what I do know is that the Delhi Dynomite (chicken) with veggies and white yogurt chutney was DELICIOUS! The chicken tasted like it was cooked slowly with spices...so tender. The Pronti bread was also very pleasing. The guys behind the counter were great too. Very nice and willing to take their time to explain everything to the newbie.

Great new Indian with a twist. Light and delicious breakfasts and lunch options. The Pronti is delicious bread/wrap and the meat is very high quality. Greek Salad I had was loaded with veggies. Great service friendly owners. I am thrilled with this place.

I've eaten at Pronti Bistro several times now, but I'm still torn as to whether or not I like the place. The proteins are all delicious (chicken is good, tilapia is awesome), and I love the yogurt sauces, but I've noticed that sometimes the produce doesn't seem fresh. Portions are huge, but the menu is more expensive than I'd like. It's difficult to get out of there for less than $10-$12. I won't order a smoothie again - the last one was was awful, mostly large chunks of ice and very watered down. And finally, I still struggle with the menu - I'm not very familiar with Indian flavors, so this whole mix & match approach is very difficult. Sometimes I've paired them well, sometimes I've been way off the mark. I wish they'd just pair the right sauces and veggies with the right proteins so it tasted right, and allow substitutions if you wanted something different, instead of making you figure it out yourself.

Yes. $8 for fresh make over to Indian Lunch. Great service. Be patient during typical lunch hour because for reason it's call small business. It's not your chain business that handles based on over head and bottom lines. These guys are genuinely working hard to make it among sharks. Give them a chance you won't be disappointed. I like their all vegetarian options.

My coworkers love this place. Given their food tastes this could have gone either way. I cannot comment on the customer service or lack of as the food was served to me. My sandwich was really great. I got a lamb pronti and was really happy with everything. The lamb was well seasoned and cooked well with a spicy little kick at the end. The lettuce and tomato were fresh. The salad and brownie were a joke, but then I wasn't really interested in those anyway. If you go expecting typical Indian food, or the Americanized version of it, you will be disappointed but if you go thinking in terms of falafel cart or Gyro style food you'll be pretty happy. If I were in the Needham area I'd seek this place out but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Pretty good in a Pinch..Not that impressed...Portion size is lacking..Ordering is confusing...The free sides they give you are very small...The Pronti's are good..But the ownership it a bit Wonky...Just go to Penera Bread Next door.. Oh & the Spicey is Very Spicy if you like that kind of thing..

Had Pronti about a year ago and going back soon. I had the Red Fort and the steak one. Portions were small so I had to order two. Food was spicy which is awesome. The extra sauces you can throw on top was great. I don't remember the prices so can't speak to that but ill update it when I go visit them soon. The prontis are not fresh of course as everyone has said. You can buy them in stores frozen.

This place is the ideal example of a unique food experience that has some really trivial, situational items holding it back from being great. I've been here several times with people from work when we order out on the later shifts. Be warned, it closes kind of early compared to other restaurants in the area. The staff is always friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. Every take out pronti (not rice bowl) comes with a salad and mini-brownie, which are always nice touches. I only get one pronti roll, because it's enough, but some of my coworkers swear that doubling up is the way to go. I've tried the Red Fort (tandoori chicken) with hot mango chutney, and the lamb rice bowl with mint yogurt. While the rice bowl was good, it was lacking in the flavor that the pronti wrap gives with that delicious bread. The things holding it back? The menu is kind of vague, the place isn't hard to find, but parking is kind of non-existent during the day. The building itself is gigantic and feels kind of empty, and while the staff is friendly, they seem almost TOO friendly, and assume too much when ordering. Not a bad thing if they assume I want to upgrade to a combo meal so I can use my debit card, but at least let me decide :\ I've been here a couple times now; the food is cheap, and delicious. The staff is courteous, and I just cannot get enough of the ambiance. I will definitely return, and hopefully be able to give this place more stars!

A few weeks ago, I happened to stumble upon the location of Pronti quite by accident. For years, I have wanted to go, but, failed to remember to look up the address. Since I am directionally -impaired, it took me a long time to find it. Anyway, I am happy to have found it. The space is large, clean and bright with plasma televisions playing MTV International for the current Indian hits, which is cool. And, they wrap real flatware in cloth napkins, a nice fancy touch. Cloth napkins! It wasn't busy as it was just past traditional lunch time, but quite a few people had taken their food to go. The menu is a bit confusing and must be examined for a while before ordering. I ordered the Delhi Dynamite and thought I had accidentally ordered a sandwich, which would explain why I asked for lettuce and tomatoes. Thankfully, it was a rice bowl...with awkward lettuce and tomato. Oh well, I ate it and it was good. The downside about this location is the parking situation. I was confused about where to park and there is no parking available on the street. I ended up parking around back, which is not allowed. I was not towed, so I was lucky this time.

We have been going here for a while now and they have made some improvements. They now have a large size pronti, which satisfies my husband's large size appetite. My son loves, loves, loves the Red Fort chicken pronti. He has gotten into the habit of inviting his friends to Pronti and challenging them with it's flavorful spiciness. Less adventurous kids might like the grilled cheese Pronti which is basically a grilled cheese sandwich. And one of the guys at the counter is really hot. So Pronti really offers something for the whole family.

My coworkers and I have been ordering from Pronti ever since they popped up on my list of local places on Foodler. This place is great! Most of us get the Red Fort pronti which is spicy chicken, and we always get peppers, onions, lettuce, tomato and american cheese with it. The white yogurt chutney is also a MUST to cut the spiciness, but the flavor is just so good, you might want extra just for the hell of it. We've also tried the Goa Catch which is tilapia with a mild spice. Get it with the same veggies but no cheese and the mint chutney for a twist. And get the Lucknow Special - which is lamb -the same way. The greek salad with really nicely flavored chicken was a surprise, and a good alternative if you're ordering with a group and someone's a little hesitant to try something unfamiliar. Speaking on that, I agree with the other reviewers who mentioned some kind of "suggested" prontis would be super appreciated. When I've ordered from here with the uninitiated it's hard to know what they should get if they don't want one of the prontis I've already had myself. Also, omg the toffee brownies. So fudgy and good!

I happened upon Pronti when I was stuck in the lunch time traffic of Highland/Needham ave... THE BEST DECISION I MADE! Pronti is a bright, clean Indian bistro that serves up a quick lunch to go or eat in. I walked in and was greeted right away. I ordered the Goa Catch, grilled tilapia wrapped up in Paratha (an Indian flat bread) . My fish was moist and flavorful with just a hint of spice. The bistro offers a wide variety of flavorful and fresh toppings on all of their wraps such as onions, lettuce, tomato, yogurt sauces... it goes on. I am not a fan of fast food, but I guess you could call this Indian fast food... my wrap came out in less than 5 minutes!!! I had actually originally said my order would be to-go, but once it came I had spotted a bright high top table near the window and decided to stay and eat. I love this place and I highly recommend going there. I am already craving the mint yogurt sauce and olive chips!!!

This place is very good for lunch on a weekday or weekend. Also a nice easy dinner. it's nothing fancy but the food is very good. I got the red fort with yogurt sauce. It wasn't very spicy (good for me) and it was delicious! My coworker got the regular (non spicy) chicken with the mango sauce and yogurt sauce. The mango sauce was VERY hot and we didn't like it much but Im sure spice lovers would. The place was pretty full so I was already walking in with a good attitude that there were so many others there for lunch. The kitchen really took their time which made me feel like I was getting what I paid. It's not the cheapest lunch (about $25 for 2 meals w 2 can drinks) but it was worth it. The staff is really nice and helpful. I am actually craving it again right now which is what made me remember to review it. I will most certainly come for lunch on a work day again and I am tempted to bring my friends/family here for lunch on a weekend! Yum! Can't wait to try more! The only downside is the parking. I literally had to back up back into the main intersection to make the tight turn into the parking lot bc someone had parked a mini van right at the first spot on the lot. Aside from that the parking is very sparse as well but hey at least they have a parking lot! They also gave a small brownie bite and side salad with the pronti (wrap/sandwich) which was a nice touch.

Ugh, alright. It kills me to say this because I used to be a huge fan of this place but I think I'm done with Pronti. The last few times I've gone in, my order has been messed up in some way. Either a vegetable or cheese is forgotten, or the protein is swapped for something else, or they're out of some major ingredient (rice! Half their menu is rice bowls!). Tonight I went in to get two rice bowls, and had them made to go so I'd have them for dinner when my husband got home. I was literally the ONLY customer in there. So I ordered my meals, waited a few minutes, and took my food home. Now, not only was my order wrong when I got it home, but the prices are now a dollar more per rice bowl when they were already borderline too expensive for my tastes. Would you pay $25+ for two rice bowls at Chipotle? No. Maybe the music being super loud in the restaurant caused some miscommunication. I have no idea. Bottom line, I was really disappointed. I was looking forward to tandoori chicken and I opened up my container to find, I'm assuming, lamb. The peppers I asked for were missing as was the feta. For $25 and being the only order in the place, this should have been perfect.

I have never had Indian food before but my coworker is Indian, very picky and said he has eaten here and was pretty good. So, deciding to try something new we went to lunch here. The menu had all sorts of things I have never heard of or even imagined together (yogurt in a wrap with meat?!?!?). The staff (two young men) were very welcoming and helpful and helped me to understand what each component was and how they worked together. I went with the hot chicken with simple tomato cheese and lettuce wrapped with the sauce on the side. When it came out it also came with a mini salad and a brownie. I was scared to taste it but once I did I wish I had ordered the Large! The chicken/wrap was delicious!!!! Then the brownie which may have been one of the best I have ever had! This was freshly made food, no frozen anything and was worth a return visit!

The pronti rice bowl was very good and not expensive. The chai was disappointing. The decor...not my cup of tea with the large TVs blasting bollywood music. But, it is seating is spacious and the place is clean. The red fort spicy chicken pronti rice bowl I had was very tasty, even though they got my order partially wrong my giving me the wrong sauce but it still ended up delicious. I have to come back and try their red mango spicy sauce!

I came across pronti on accident after being on lock down last week. I went back tonight and had a lamb rice bowl pronti for the second time, with chick peas, onions, green pepper, sweet tamarind, cucs, and tomato. I'm gluten and dairy free and the staff was awesome about helping me figure out what I could eat... DELICIOUS!!!!

I was beyond happy to see another lunch option open across the street from Panera. I used to work in an office park right down the road from here, so I'm really familiar with the (lack of) good lunch options in the area. My current office neighborhood in Newton is even more food-desolate, so I still head this way for lunch sometimes. And Pronti is a GREAT alternative to the insane crowds and basically-crap food at Panera, Fresh City and the like. Full disclosure: I have only ever ordered the Red Fort chicken, though I am going to shake things up and try the lamb next time. The Red Fort is flavorful and perfectly spicy, pairs wonderfully with the mint yogurt, and I really love that buttery, delicious flat bread. The service has been extremely friendly every time I've been, and the one time my order took almost 10 minutes, one of the employees apologized to me profusely. There is plenty of seating, and I do see fair numbers of people eating in, but I mostly take my orders to go. Also, the parking lot is small, but even so, it's far less of a nightmare than the Panera lot across the street. In fact, my first experience at Pronti was a direct result of not wanting to go anywhere near the parking disaster that is Panera at lunchtime. All in all, I think Pronti is a really a nice alternative to basic wraps, sandwiches and subs. As for the reviews complaining of "small portions" -- I never found my sandwich skimping on meat, and the portion has always left me very satisfied. If you're disappointed by the portions here, it means you were looking to eat two servings of delicious Indian sandwich for lunch, because the one sandwich really is plenty of food. If you're determined to stuff your face with two meals' worth of food for cheap, there's a Chipotle down the street.

I give this place a 4 for the food, but a 2 for the location and atmosphere. There were TVs blaring all over the place--impossible to get away from. It's also located on a busy intersection. You can sit outside, if you don't mind sitting next to cars and trucks zooming by. However, the prontis are really delicious and well-priced. Very, very delicious! The man behind the counter was also super nice.

Probably my favorite lunch spot in Needham, staff is really friendly, and the food is AWESOME. I think they probably ought to have some "suggested" Pronti's so new people have somewhere to start, the menu can be a tiny bit confusing. But I've also never ordered anything I didn't like!

I just happened upon this place because it was near my hotel. It was exactly what I was looking for. I agree with one of the reviewers that the menu is a bit confusing, so I told the very pleasant person at the counter to order something for my. It was a spicy chicken wrap. Perfect. I am just sorry that this place isn't in my home. i would eat here often. I'm going back for breakfast before I leave. I wish i had time to try several other choices.

Called them at 7 for checking if they will still serve at 7:30 by the time we reach.. The answer was yes.. Reached at 7:30 and were told that they are doing to go now. Ordered paneer wrap .. The hot sauce was too hot.. There was supposed be mint chutney in the wrap too but did not find any.. The staff was rude n in a hurry to close for the day. Wouldnt want to go there again.

I stumbled upon a Living Social deal for Pronti Bistro, living in Needham for the summer, I figured I'd give it a try. I had high hopes for the place, but unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. The exterior color of the restaurant can only be described as hideous, a hue of green which would induce eye vomit if it were possible. However, I entered the restaurant, it was slightly more visually pleasing. The menu was not entirely what I expected. One gets to pick a main filling, a cheese, vegetables, and then a sauce all wrapped in a Paratha bread. I tried the Agra Adventure (Spicy Eggplant) with provolone and a few of the vegetable options, I added $3 for the soup combo. I was asked which soup I would like, I chose the vegetable lentil soup, but then was informed that it was not available. I settled for the Gazpacho. A Mango Lassi was also ordered to accompany my meal. The food came fast and was well presented. The soup was overly salty, but had a nice spicy kick to it, and was accompanied by a very tasty savory pancake similar to scallion pancakes often found in chinese food restaurants. The wrap was accompanied with a small side salad and a small sweet dough dessert. I found the wrap to be a bit bland, and lacking in spice which the menu had indicated. The Mango Lassi was mediocre. The prices were too high for the quality of food/ambience/service. Like a previous commenter mentioned, the wraps were $8 and the portions were small. I do not think I will be returning to Pronti Bistro.

I really wanted to love this place. I really did. It's a 5 minute drive from work, and because of the premise of its menu, I gave it a fair go - two, actually. I am hoping that, since it's relatively new, they'll listen to suggestion and tweak what needs tweaking. First visit - got the veggie + egg breakfast wrap to go. The paratha bread they use is incredibly yummy, even if not the best for the waistline. The cardamom chai was also very delicious, but $3 for tea is pretty steep in my mind. Despite that, I was looking forward to trying the lunch menu. Second visit - had the paneer tikka wrap and was pretty disappointed. The cheese was nicely seasoned, but the tasteless filler of lettuce and onion and lack of sauce left it a bit dry. Most of all, it wasn't filling. Granted, they add a small side salad (I stress small) and single Gulab Jaman. But add another $3 chai onto it and you've got a pretty measly $11 lunch. Another thing that irked me was that I called the order in about half an hour ahead of time, and when I arrived to pick it up, I was asked not to call so far in advance. It was therefore my fault that the order was lost and I needed to wait. My hopes for this place: adjust the price/portion and get the staff on board with better customer service.

I love Pronti Bistro! Very glad this place popped up on Needham St. I had the Tilapia with Hot Mango sauce and it was delicious. Also, their mango lasse is one of the best around. I appreciate that the meal also comes with a small salad and a little dessert. The second time I went, I had the gazpacho soup which I thought was very good. The lentil soup was a little bland but that might be the nature of lentil soup. The service is really good and they play cool indian music on the TV. It's clean and stylish, modern, and the most inexpensive Indian food you can find. The third time I went, I had the lamb with mint yogurt sauce, another winner. I will keep going to Pronti Bistro as it is definitely better than any other option in the area for lunch.

I'd driven past it a zillion times, but never dropped in before. I'm glad I did! Pronti Bistro serves soups, salads, and various breakfast dishes, but their main thing is prontis -- wraps in thin, toasted parantha bread. I had the "Red Fort," a wrap with tandoori chicken. It was absolutely delicious and clearly prepared with great care -- perfectly spiced and perfectly presented. It was a thing of beauty to look at, so I almost felt guilty eating it was one hand on the rest of my drive home. But it totally works in those circumstances. The next time I find myself tempted to grab a burrito or order pizza, I'll be calling Pronti Bistro instead. It's real food, as healthy and flavorful as it is convenient. Prontis come with a nice little salad and toffee brownie. Just the right portion sizes -- satisfying but not stuffing, and if you want more food, you can "double up" with a larger pronti. A delicious wrap, salad, and dessert for $7 or $7.50 is a bargain to boot. And they deliver! Check them out. If you like Indian food, you'll love their spice rubs. If you're not a fan of Indian food, there are plenty of options more on the American side of their Indian-American fusion. The breakfast options look delicious too. I'm looking forward to trying them some morning, but I just had to post a Yelp review -- the first I've ever written -- now.

Pronti is good. I want to give it 4 stars but it is not quite there. It could be with some polish. The Good - yummy food, real silverware & napkins, nice eat-in space, my food came with salad & a delicious toffee brownie mini-desert! The Meh - the menu lacks some description. I'm guessing I felt a little like a immigrant from India would feel the first time they wandered into a Subway Restaurant. I recognize these menu items as food....but what now? how do they go together? Our orders were basically a crap shoot. I think they over estimate the familiarity with the food & that but having a couple recommended options would be a good idea. I'm a really adventurous eater, but felt a little overwhelmed in trying to make good choices. How is one to know really what "Deli Dynamite, or Red Fort, Mumbai Madness" is? I get that they tell you chicken or chick-peas, or whatever, but some more details would be extremely helpful. Even just saying "tandori chicken" next to "Red Fort" would be an improvement. After we stared at the menu for a bit the guy behind the counter ask if it was our first time there. We answered that it was, and I thought he was going to provide some insight. Instead he basically said "this is the menu" (pointing at the menu we'd been staring at) and instructed us to order food. He was nice, but still, it was a little hilarious. Again, the food was good. We got Red Fort with Cheddar, and a mix of Mint Yogurt and Hot Mango Sauce as well as Mumbai Madness with Provolone and Mint yogurt Sauce. Both were tasty, and they came out very quickly. (Perhaps too quickly as assemblage was a little sloppy and half my cheese was stuck to the foil....)

We've tried three different wraps from Pronti bistro and we're big fans. They serve Indian style wraps with meat, fish, eggplant, potatoes or paneer in a warm paratha wrap. You can add any kind of veggies you want to the wrap, plus each one comes with a small salad and a gulab jamum. I recommend checking out their many different kinds of sauces to make your sandiwch even yummier. They also serve salads, soups, smoothies and a variety of teas and coffees. The concept is quick, easy, fresh about as healthy as takeout can be. The owner is super friendly and eager to please. It's fairly convenient to get to, right off of 128 and with parking behind and on the side of the building. The dining room is pretty spacious if you want to stick around. They'll also be adding delivery service soon if you don't. And I forgot to mention the prices are reasonable for such tasty food. Go check it out!

Came here most recently with my mommy's group. They were very accommodating of all of our strollers and even served some of our entrees to the table to help us out. The staff is very friendly and personable. Pronti is fresh, flavorful, and has a fun atmosphere. I get the wraps with varying protein options...all of which have been great. I tried the rice bowl option once but found it too salty. I usually opt for 2 of the wraps, which is like their large because they're a little on the small side if you aren't getting any sides. However, the "large" option makes up for that. Personally, I visit Pronti when I'm looking for a healthier/jazzier version of fast food..and this happens to be the Indian variety. If I'm in the mood for straight-up Indian food and lots of it, I prefer the buffet at Singh's in Wellesley.

Was so excited about this place when i read their website. all that talk about fresh. And Pronti being the parathas that you'd expect the Punjabis to be so good with. Let me say this...if you are familiar with Indian grocery stores, you will be delighted to find the same frozen $h!t instead of fresh parathas being made there. First of all, any Indian (or familiar to Indian food person) will know, fresh parathas being made on a tawa can be smelt from almost a mile. Not here at Pronti Bistro my friends. because the parathas are the frozen Malaysian style "Kawan" parathas that you get in the frozen section of your favorite Indian grocer. Tried the Chicken Tikka Masala in the wrap. The chicken tikka was not even cooked well. And I swear, i thought i could smell "BO" as i brought the wrap close to my mouth to take the bites. Good decor though... but guess, give me good food over decor any day. Thanks but no thanks. Would I drive even 5 miles to eat at this place, i think not.

Everything on the menu is delightful. The 2 guys that run it are awesome, and exude happiness, making this a place you want to be with exceptional customer service. There are Paleo options too! I don't live close, but make this a destination.

Pronti is a great find, and I'm so glad it's right down the street from me! (They also deliver, but I haven't done that yet). The owners are super-nice: I love chatting with Maneet (close enough?). Seriously, these guys are some of the friendliest I have ever met, and I love the idea of a family-owned business. I want to like Indian food but am very sensitive to spice: luckily, the Delhi Dynamite is super-flavorful and not at all spicy (especially with mint yogurt: yum!). I also appreciate how they throw in a mini salad and mini dessert yet still manage to keep the prices low. The mango lassi's are great too. My finance who likes spicy stuff says that the spicy dishes are yummy, so I'll take his word for it :) Essentially, there's something for everyone, as each dish is customizable by meat, sauce, cheese, and veggies. They also do whole wheat at no extra charge, which I highly recommend.

I just finished my delhi dynamite" "pronti" from Pronti Bistro and I am pretty satisfied. Overview: Prontis are what these folks call a sort of mini wrap made with paratha - an Indian flat bread. You have a choice of a main ingredient (chicken, beef, lamb and vegetarian options like paneer) and a selection of additional fillings to choose from (e.g. lettuce, tomato, onions, cukes, mushrooms, jalapenos as well as some non-Indian additions like parmesan and feta cheeses). There are also some nice chutneys hidden away a bit across from where you order (I especially liked the white yogurt and mint/coriander sauces). The Good: The chicken was very tasty and moist, the paratha was just as i like it, the onions were nicely cooked and overall I enjoyed my meal very much. I had them add feta and it made an excellent addition - my wrap was a sort of Indian/Greek chicken kabob sandwich in the end - very tasty. I like that they are open to a sort of fusion of Indian with other cuisines. The Bad: They are not close to having their system together. They all seem very nice, but badly need to get the fulfillment piece together. The owner was very affable and apologetic when they fell behind the orders (and it wasn't that crowded) and he offered complimentary chai and biscuits as we waited, but they will not have great success if they can't get the efficiency up. The dinning area is clean but sparse and uninspired. I wish them luck as it's nice having this option in the area.

Only been here once but I would definitely go back. The sandwich bread (paratha/pronti) is pretty awesome - if you are a bread person you must check it out. They've got a nice variety of stuff to put in your sandwich chicken, beef, lamb, veggies and customization seemed really easy.

I love the food here. The staff is very eager to help you create a sandwich you like. I love the tamarind sauce and the butta chicken rice bowl. The have a refreshing mango lassi and these awesome brownies. I think they offer breakfast items, though I am not positive. If so, I would love to try it. The food is very healthy and fresh, a welcome change to the usual food places on Needham Street.

I wanted to like this place, and in all honesty I will go back to try other things in hopes it will go up a few stars. I had the red fort tandoori chicken over rice. It was very spicy which is good. The chicken was nicely seasoned as was the rice. That's about all the good I have to say about my meal. Portion size was a bit small for the price. The rice was completely hard which is either undercooked or sitting around all day. I think it was undercooked. While I waited for my dinner, I watched the people in the kitchen. First off all young white dudes, which is not what I expect in a place that's Indian. But, no dinging them for that, it's a free country. I was a bit shocked in seeing that the bread they use for their wraps and which appears in their name "Pronti" aren't even made there or made fresh at all. I saw the kitchen staff opening blister packs of previously frozen "Prontis" being thrown on the grill. They are obviously made at a factory and purchased frozen and thrown on the grill. A little false in my book as people think they are getting something authentic. Fresh city doesn't make their own wraps so I guess why should these guys. Just a little disappointed. I will be back to try a wrap but if they can't even get Indian rice right, I question what else they can do right.

When husband told me about this new place near where he works, I thought, "What a great option for the nights that I don't want to cook. He can pick up takeout and bring home a healthy dinner." When I saw the place, I joked that the word 'pronti' is how Punjabis say 'paratha' and we had a laugh. We both thought this was a cafe of some type- you know, soup, sandwich, etc. Well, we needed takeout last night, so I looked up the menu- was I thrilled or what to see that Pronti IS the Punjabi word I wistfully thought of!!! I was sold just on that. I had the Chandigarh Pronti and a Mango Lassi. Husband had the Lucknow Special. We both really enjoyed the taste of the wraps- really good and definitely not too Indian, which is good for a more mainstream crowd. I always want new Indian spots to succeed, so I think this place has potential based on the evenness of flavors. The salad tasted like what we eat at home, but it was kind of lame- one piece of lettuce, 3 carrot slices, 3 cucumber slices and 2 tomato wedges. I'm not kidding. The gulab jamun was great, what a treat. The lassi was more of a mango shake, but I'm not complaining. Overall, we enjoyed the food- it is a good and different healthy option (when your other options are like Five Guys or Panda Express or something) but the ONLY big knock we have is the prices. $8 for a very small wrap would make us think twice before going back. I want to go back, I do. I just wish the prices were a bit better, or the portions a teeny bit bigger.

Overall, I think this is a really solid place. Excellent concept and pretty good execution. Am currently taking a class at the Isis center just up the street and all the couples in the class can be found at Pronti trying to squeeze in an order before class starts. Have tried the paneer and the potatoes and thought the latter was excellent. Spicy and very tasty. Agree with some of the comments that the portions could be a bit better but this isn't a make or break point for me. Would love to see more locations or more places like Pronti Bistro around the greater Boston area.

Shockingly delicious! The menu is slightly overwhelming. I had to get help from the extremely kind and patient guys working behind the counter on what to get... I went with tandoori chicken in a delicious buttery flavored wrap. When they asked what toppings I wanted, I had no idea what to add.. I was at their mercy.. the cook, and cashier recommended lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and feta cheese! Then I was supposed to choose a sauce! While the cook was preparing the food he asked if I wanted grilled onions on it! Yikes! ( It worked great i might add ). Since I like spicy, they recommend two sauces on the side to try. hot mango, and red hot chutney.. The hot mango was pretty hot , and very sweet, the R.H.C. was delicious and did the trick. The ingredients were amazingly fresh, which made me not want to put on the spicy sauce ( but it was too good together ). The wrap also came with a small salad, and a small piece of brownie.. I didn't try the brownie because I was too full.. Sorry.

Paneer roll was average. The bread is one that you get in the indian grocery stores called ( Malasian parathas). Bland spices and not worth the 6.99. Place is big and spacious. staff is friendly. Needs more food choices, and authenticity. Would not recommend for those looking for indian flavors!

We tried Pronti Bistro today and were pleasantly surprised to realize that this great Indian Bistro is similar to a place that we go to in NYC for Kathi Rolls. We ordered the Chandigarh Pronti (Paneer) and the Mumbai Madness Pronti (Aloo). They prontis were DELICIOUS!! My boyfriend is Punjabi and this is the kind of food that we would make at home. We take traditional Indian foods and eat them with Parantha all the time so this was great for us. The food was amazingly fresh and cooked perfectly. The lunch plate came with a nice little side salad with really fresh, crunchy vegetables. It also came with a yummy little gulab jamin, which is one of my favorite desserts. We ordered the Chai Masala tea. It was authentic and delicious. The tea also came with cute little ParleG cookies. I felt like I was visiting my future in-laws. I loved every part of the meal and I can't wait to go back. My only regret is that we didn't think of opening a place like this first. I wish the new owners the best of luck and I hope that everyone will give them a try. You'll be hooked, I promise.

A step away from the mundane quick eats options, this place is awesome! If you are new to the concept of Indian style wraps and rice bowls the owners are right behind the counter and very friendly. It's a must try!

The food was amazing! I got the Boston Nashta for Breakfast and the Delhi Dynamite. It was also dead when I got there about 11am, so I did not have to wait long for my food. The gentleman at the counter asked if it was my first time and walked me through the menu. There is alot of choices that you can make to customize your meal just how you like it. The only down side is that the portions are a little small for what you pay. I wish they would drop their prices a little of have some specials. I also got the Mango Lassi smoothie, Im hooked!!

Had the red fort pronti - which is very spicy chicken, but came with a nice, cool yogurt sauce. It was delicious! Service was very friendly, prompt. Restaurant is very clean.

A cool take on build your own pita. good choices for grilled meats plus interesting salads. not a lot of food for $9-11. that said it is very tasty and I did enjoy it and will go back. its a nice food alternative to the area. I enjoyed the Red Fort chicken for a little spice. make sure to enjoy some of the free sauces to top to your choices.

My husband and I eat here whenever we're in the area. The food is very fresh and tasty and we enjoy choosing ingredients for the pronti. It comes with a small salad and a mini-dessert. The staff is very, very helpful. We eat at the restaurant and find it to be very clean.

I work at a chiro office across the street from this place and had gotten many recommedations from patients. SO GLAD I WENT! Everything was fresh, crispy and spicy. I got a Spicy Chicken Pronti with provolone, veggies and mint yogurt sauce. SO GOOD! It is a little price-ier than some of the other neighborhood eats (Chipotle, panera, new england soup factory), but MUCH higher quality. The staff was super friendly and the Bollywood music playing in the background was really fun. Highly recommend!!!

Very nice place. My greek beef salad was delicious. Been there a few times and always satisfied with their food and staff. And not expensive.

My husband and I went here for lunch and really had no idea what to order. The menu on the wall doesn't have any descriptions, so we just dove in and picked a fish pronti and a beef pronti (believe it was patriot maharajah and goa fish). The pronti is similar to a wrap, but the bread is thicker and heavenly!! You then pick veggies, cheese, and a sauce or two to put on them. As we had no idea, the man taking our order gave us suggestions and we took them. Mint sauce and feta on the maharaja and both spicy mango and yogurt, and cheddar on the goa fish. They were both outstanding. I would eat lunch here everyday if I could. It also came with a salad and bite size brownie.

Definitely better option and more fun than Panera. They melded together a lot of different yummy flavors!

I'm a big fan of Manhattan's Kati Roll restaurants, so I was psyched when something similar opened shop near Boston. Pronti Bistro is a similar concept, but very different execution. First off, Pronti Bistro is much friendlier and nicer inside. Great staff, large clean space, and nice amenities like fresh cut lemons for your fountain soda. Second, Pronti Bistro has a much bigger menu with a lot of variety and customization options. Wraps, salads, soups, etc. You're not just limited to the wraps. Third, and most importantly, the wraps themselves are different. You can customize to your heart's content. For example, I had a lamb wrap with nice grilled vegetables and a little feta cheese, with some mango chutney on the side. It was amazing! Plus it came with a little side salad. I also got to try out a delicious cold mango shake... perfect for a hot day. These guys seem to just be getting started, but I was very impressed by the ambitious menu, great service, and unique food combinations. Definitely make sure to try it out!

I went to Pronti Bistro for lunch for the second time this week and had the Delhi Dynamite (chicken tikka masala) in the 'pronti' (paratha) wrap. It was great - wonderfully marinated, flavorful, tender chicken - grilled and crispy veggies on top, mint yogurt dressing (raita?) on top... Lunches come with a modest - but extremely fresh and fresh-tasting salad - and a sample of dessert (gulab jaman?), so I think it's an unbelievable bargain for lunch. I do wish their outside signage indicated it's an Indian / American fusion place...I've overlooked it for a few weeks assuming (incorrectly) it was an Italian spot...:^) Wishing the owners and employees all the best and a very prosperous future. -Kathy C., Needham

Cheap Indian food full of grease. Oh yeah, they only give you small portions of this cheapy, greasy food. Also, very overpriced greasy food.

I tried Pronti Bistro for the first time today and it was INCREDIBLE! I had the Delhi Dynamite and it was perfect I had the works. My co-worker and I also tried the Tomatoe Bisque and the Vegetable Medley Soup. They were both some of the best I have ever had. You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not try it. The staff is friendly and it was quick. Very reasonably priced as well. The owner is great and I am definitely a returning customer. AMAZING!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!! The food is delicious, the people are super friendly, accommodating, helpful, and it is always clean. It is one of my favorite places to eat in town. I take classes up the street at Isis and the women and babies in my class come here each week for lunch (well the babies don't eat). The brownies are also to die for!

Absolutely Awesome! Food is amazing, awesome bread, great fillings with meat, veggies, even fish, perfectly spicy sauces. I can't say more except that the staff is the coolest too.

We had the Paneer wrap and the potatoes wrap. I think that the Potatoes one was better - I would not call it spicy, but it had more flavor than the Paneer one. Also, the Pronti (or the paratha or the bread/wrap) felt very much like they just warmed up a frozen Malaysian roti/paratha. And the portions are pretty small especially when I compare it to burritos that one can buy for the same price.

I love this place! Tried it out with family for the first time and it was simply amazing. Their lamb kathi rolls (meat wrapped in Asian wraps) are to die for. This place is far better than the kathi places in New York. It's clean, spacious, good decor and has a friendly feel to it with good Bollywood music playing in the background. Thumbs up for the owners and the staff. Keep up the great service!

Decent lunch spot if you're tired of Chipotle and Fresh City. I ordered a chicken tikka pronti (wrap) and it was pretty good, although maybe a little on the small side. It came with a small salad and gulab jamum. Would definitely recommend giving this place a shot.

This is a unique take on a sandwich shop, using Indian breads and fillings. It seems very fresh, could use a bit more seasoning, but is a refreshing change from Italian sub shops. Very pleasant seating area with lots of space, not too noisy. Small parking lot could be a problem.

We had a "Red Fort"-- tandoori chicken with vegetables, salad and a gulab jamun. The meal was tasty, fresh and fast. The mango lassi is made differently than most restaurantys, but made a great dessert.

Went here for dinner a few nights ago and was pleasantly surprised. I had a Redfort pronti wrap and it was heavenly. This place is across the street from Panera Bread which is always packed at lunch time, I would go here instead. Really liked it.
