Extremely friendly staff and the owner is fantastic! Love the variety of pizza options and the customization. I have done take out and delivery and have been impressed with the quick service and high quality. Affordable prices and always yummy! It has become my new favorite in town!

We got a large margarita pizza which was just okay. Way to soupy and the dough had an off taste. Friendly service and the restaurant was clean with an open kitchen.

We have been eating here for years and we love it here. It's family friendly and the owner is very welcoming. The food is fresh and least great quality. We love all the gluten free options as well! This is our go to restaurant for family dinners and get together with friends. We don't live nearby but we are willing to drive here for the good food!

What to say about this place? If I had only one word to describe it would be: stellar! Yes both the food quality (which I will go over in a minute), the environment, and their beer selection as well. Food: they focus on specialty pizzas and you can pretty much order anything out of the menu that will not get disappointed. My all-time favorite is fig prosciutto that I have has many times and it has constantly been off-the-charts. They have a decent selection of pastas and salads as well and I would say than their ingredients are only top shelf. Some of their same ingredients are only found on much higher priced restaurants and this is their secret of taste, freshness and success - I hope they don't get mad from me revealing that... They always have excellent craft beers on tap as well so if you in town for business or just need a drink after work, this is a perfect place as well. Suggestion for improvement? I would like to see more appetizers on their menu that speak happy hour. Sure they do have wings, stuffed olives and pizza crust but that's their weakest part in my opinion. Overall, this is an amazing, moderately priced, hidden gem in the middle of Needham and now after Ivan Milan took over I expect this place to thrive and become even more popular.

just ok. there are a number of pizza places in Needham, always been too many to begin with. This place was quite crowded, but pizza is just ok. We got the green goddess and the cheese, both were fine. The multi grain crust isn't all that tasty. The caesar salad isn't anything special. overall just ok. sweet tomatoes is probably a better choice if you are going for that style pizza.

Hearth Pizzeria formerly Stone Hearth Pizza opened March 1st, 2015. Baked Wings are my favorite with the home made BBQ sauce. The BBQ pizza is good eating too! Ivan the executive chef is now the owner of Hearth Pizzeria. Great food, great service, craft brews. Ivan added TV's for those sports minded diners. Still a great family environment and Ivan and his staff do a great job making everyone feel welcome. Love the spoon and fork "H" logo. Congrats Ivan!

Still our favorite to go with our son who has celiac disease. Tasty GF options. I hope the new owner makes sure to emphasize Gluten Free on the Yelp profile and elsewhere so the community knows it's still the go-to place. If they start making GF french fries, it will be a six-star joint!

Have eaten and ordered from Stone Hearth many times and was expecting the high quality good food I always got there as I didn't realize this was under a new owner. I got a sausage pizza in multigrain crust. Unfortunately, the multi grain crust tasted like cardboard, tomato sauce had no flavor, and the sausage my 8 year old said it tasted like breadcrumbs (and he was spot on). We were really disappointed, to the extent that I don't think we will try again.
