First Watch Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

My cousin and I enjoyed a quick lunch break from work and studies here. I had heard good things and can confirm the goodness at First Watch is credible. We were promptly greeted AND seated in their outdoor space. Our server was pleasant, prompt, and took very good care of us (I don't usually expect such good service on a Friday during the lunch hour, especially up near the Fashion Mall. But, this lad was very attentive when we needed him.) I had their delicious quinoa bowl with pesto chicken, tomatoes, and feta. It was still nice and warm when it came to our table and the chicken was perfectly cooked (not too dry and had good flavor). I only wish I had a bigger stomach so I could've eaten a second one! My lunch partner-in-crime enjoyed their breakfast tacos, made with chicken and black beans. Again, the chicken was cooked just perfectly and the tacos were presented very nicely on the plate. I wish that the Keystone area was more picturesque for outdoor dining, but I won't hold this against First Watch. They have outdoor seating available in the least and that makes this cooped-up office worker VERY happy on her lunch break. I'd love to come back and have breakfast here. I saw some crepes that spoke to me.

Definitely not the best place in town to grab brunch, but certainly not the worst. I've been to a few other locations of this restaurant and they all seem pretty much the same as far as quality goes. They have a couple new juices right now that are great! Try the Kale Tonic or the Pineapple Ginger flavor! As far as food goes, I'd recommend any of the hashes. However, I usually try to order off of the specials menu on the chalkboard because the regular menu does seem a bit short. My favorite thing about First Watch is their waiting line system. They text you when you're party is ready to be seated, and you can even download the app that it is powered by to see how many people are in front of you in line. Makes for some less painful waiting on weekend mornings!

Went in for lunch today with family. Our server was really great, prompt and very polite. I had the 2 for you option with the Beefeater and Pecan Dijon salad. The sandwich was pretty good, but I have to admit I've been spoiled by Boar's Head so I won't say it was stellar or anything. The salad was disappointing, to be honest I've had better salads at Wendy's. My mother loved her food, so I guess I'll be back to try the soup.

Pancakes are big and fluffy. Two for $4. Get them 12 different ways. I recommend carrot cake and blueberry. 2nd pick would be the Key West Crepeggs. Outstanding and something different for the tastebuds. Had a drink from the juice bar this time. It was tasty but at $4 a drink I'll only treat myself on occasion.

This has become my favorite breakfast/brunch spot. My first visit to First Watch was in Atlanta, GA. I was elated to see that there was a location here in Indy. It should be called Fresh Watch because their ingredients are always so fresh. My favorite menu item is the avocado, bacon and tomato hash. It's absolutely delish! Eggs cooked to order, bacon, avocados, tomatoes and potatoes in a bowl. It's served with an English muffin and fresh fruit. Sometimes if I'm in the mood for pancakes, I will indulge in a pancake bigger than my head!! I love the blueberry and banana nut multigrain pancakes. The blueberry pancakes are made with big, juicy blueberries and compote served on the side. Even better, I signed up for their eClub and got a buy one get one free coupon to use and will get another coupon on my birthday next month! Yesssss!

I have not had first watch in a couple of years. I have had it in Cincinnati. Great staff, Dan our waiter was very polite. My food was amazing the coffee never stopped coming.

Delightful breakfast! We were traveling through Indy and stopped in. Then I remembered there is one near our house so I left very happy! Anyhow, get over here. Super fresh, lots of fresh fruits & a nice varied menu. Service was friendly and top notch

Had breakfast this morning, our waiter Dan was good not too friendly but prompt and polite. I really enjoyed my energy bowl featuring Muesli cereal, the cinnamon and fresh fruit was delightful and refreshing. The other 2 dining with me had the works omelette and bacon, tomato, avocado hash which was delicious. I will definitely be back there for breakfast!

Been here quite a few times. One of the most consistent places I've ever eaten at. Staff is ALWAYS friendly, food is ALWAYS fresh, and service is ALWAYS fast. Try the kale tonic!

  • MIk W.

Nice brunch today at First Watch. The Kale drink was amazing. I am not sure if they added sugar but it was über sweet and über healthy. The blueberry whole wheat pancake was delicious. Enjoyed the variety of selection on the breakfast menu. Service was quick and efficient. This was from visit May 2015

My husband and I go there every Saturday, it's our favorite spot. Food is always good and the staff is very friendly. Service is super fast! I usually have the bacado omelet.

My favorite place to eat breakfast when in Indy. The food is great and the staff friendly. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu !

I absolutely love breakfast foods! And with that, it's always a nice morning treat to check out a new breakfast/brunch spot. I brought my sister to First Watch not too long ago and we were both quite hungry. We opted for the fresh squeezed orange juice (delightful) and the "scrambled eggs, bacon, pancake/french toast" option. It was the perfect sampling of all things delicious - and believe me, we were stuffed by the end of our visit. As we stumbled out the doors with grins on our faces, we were both pleased we chose the brunch option that day.

Definitely one of the best breakfast/brunch places in Indy. It's been pretty crowded anytime I've arrived during the weekend. Parma Hash Two eggs* any style atop a hash of fresh, seasoned potatoes, Italian sausage, house-roasted Crimini mushrooms, onions and tomatoes with melted Parmesan, mozzarella and fresh herbs. Chickichanga® Whipped eggs with spicy all-natural white-meat chicken, chorizo sausage, green chilies, Cheddar and Monterey Jack, onions and avocado rolled in a flour tortilla. Topped with Vera Cruz sauce and sour cream. Served with fresh fruit and fresh, season potatoes

  • Alexandrea P.

Good:quick, friendly service. Healthy options, reminds me of patachou, Le Peep mix with a healthy fare. Started in sarasota, FL I believe so good for Indy to add another breakfast place. Not so good: ambiance is nill, healthy omelette with spinach has very little spinach, good is not anything to be to thrilled with-nothing too exciting

First Watch isn't your typical greasy-spoon type of breakfast place. Cozy, colorful, and inviting. I treated my mom and my pre-grad self on Mother's Day for a morning treat. I ordered off the seasonal specials chalkboard - lemon ricotta pancakes. As a girl would describe it, they were "CUTE"-looking, adorned with strawberries, a large dollop of lemon curd, and sprinkle of fresh mint. Let me tell you, they were fluffy and scrumptious. It'd be nice if it came with a savory side with no additional charge. I also had some of the Killer Cajun omelet served with a crispy English muffin and seasoned potatoes. The Santa Fe sauce on the side really spiced it. I dunked practically everything on my plate into that ramekin. Price was on par considering the quality and fresh ingredients. While I'm not big on waking up early, I will definitely return to try something else off the menu! My mom even left with a mini-box of complimentary Russel-Stover's chocolate for Mother's Day. Father's Day they're handing out a mini-jar of maple syrup. It's the nice touches to make you feel special.

My third time here (one time being the Tampa, Florida location) and I can honestly say this is my favorite brunch restaurant of all time! I generally get one of the awesome varieties of pancakes but this time I ordered the fresh fruit crepes which came with granola and the muffin of the day, a chocolate muffin. It was all phenomenal! My husband got the bacon & avocado hash, his favorite. One friend got a loaded omelette and another friend got the three pigs mac and cheese special. Everyone was very pleased with their meals. One friend got the hot chocolate which is to die for! Some people say this place is pricey but for me and my husband's meals and two coffees, our check was $23 which I think is incredibly reasonable considering the quality and healthiness of the food. I can't recommend First Watch enough! Whenever we're in town visiting friends, a visit here is a must!

New breakfast fave. Convenient across from Keystone Xing, the meals are fresh & filling. The kitchen he been pretty fast, too! Very kind staff from the hosts to the servers, which is refreshing considering the trend of "too cool to be nice" service we are seeing in other 'trendy' cafes. Moving on...I have had the Market Hash twice (crimini mushrooms & goat cheese, yes please!). Anddddd, the carrot cake pancake...had to. Will HAVE to again soon! Can't wait!

I am a big fan of breakfast and brunch joints but had never heard of First Watch until I drove by it randomly one morning. I decided to check it out and could not have been happier with the decision. For starters, I'm a figure competitor and I like to count my macros. All the macronutrient information for the main dishes is available online and the food comes out fresh and seemingly caters to a healthier clientele. I decided to go a bit on the crazy side and get the Chickichanga and I was not disappointed. Lots of flavor. Not greasy. No complaints. I also got some weird kale juice drink that was on special that day and it was amazingly refreshing. The coffee doesn't taste much better than your standard diner coffee, but I like standard diner coffee so I was fine with it. The atmosphere is family friendly, clean, and open. I didn't feel crammed or crowded. The service was amazing. Very personable staff but not overly pushy. My only semi complaint was that the side potatoes were pretty bland. On that note, you're not getting a disgusting fat saturated potato covered in salt and mystery goo. It literally tasted like they took a fresh potato, diced it, and lightly sautéed it. Can't wait to go back basically all the time and order all of the menu. Highly recommend.

I eat here about once a week, and I love it. The food is good and is prepared quickly and efficiently. Most of the time the service is fantastic. Ask for Lisa. She is the best!

First time eating here. Food was very delicious. Reasonably priced. Employees are very friendly. I had the Veggie Grill with tomato basil soup. Yum!

  • Melanie V.

I can't say enough good things about this place. I've tried a few different dishes here and they've all been great. They also have many healthy options with high quality ingredients. The portions are perfect and the price can't be beat! And the service is awesome, super friendly and fast.

  • Bryan S.

The line for brunch was long and the waiting area small but we heard good things and the menu looked worth it. Eventually we were seated ( 30 minute wait ) and our order was quickly taken. Floridian French Toast for her, Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast for me. First thing to the table was hot maple syrup, I already love this place. The French toast was loaded with fresh bananas kiwi and strawberries. The pumpkin pancake tasted like Fall and was big and fluffy. My over easy eggs were perfect and apple chicken sausage finished off the played nicely. Our only issue was the bacon was more buffet bacon than real and my chocolate milk was a little weak. If that is my only complaint then you know this place is good to go. Great food, good service, excellent meal.

Great breakfast! Food was fresh. Very refreshing compared to alot of the greasy breakfast spots I've tried around town. Cant wait to go back.

it was good. crowded on sunday around noon. it was about a 20 minute wait. if you are looking for some healthier eating options then you will enjoy this place. if you are looking for a greasy spoon type of breakfast it may not suit you. the pancakes were big, beautiful and tasty.

I had an avocado, tomato, and cheese hash and it was fantastic. It came with an English muffin and a bowl of lovely looking fruit. I will definitely be eating here again.

I was on the northeast side of town for a job interview and wanted something inexpensive, so Yelp recommended First Watch to me as it was closeby. When I went (June 18th, 2013), there was construction outside the front door and I had to ask a construction worker how to get in, but all the better to maintain a nice outward appearance. The inside has a diner feel to it, with breakfast and lunch items on the menu. I ordered a coffee, which came in a nice carafe-- I was only expecting one cup. For lunch I had their pick two of three menu (I forget what its actual name is) and had the tomato basil soup with half a grilled ham and cheese sandwich-- both very nice. I knocked off one star because I think service could have been a little better.

We had 21 people scattered throughout 3 tables and they seated us quickly, fed us quickly and arranged the checks accordingly. Food was fresh, delicious and affordable. Lastly, we threw a cake at them and asked them to cut it for 21 people. They did it all promptly and with a smile. Highly recommend this place.

My absolute favorite breakfast spot in Indy!!!! The food is great, the pancakes are HUGE, the staff is great/friendly/personable, I can't find anything on their menu that I don't like so far. I always go after my workout on friday's...don't judge me. Tri-athlete is what I get when I'm going the "Healthy" route and when I just don't care I order an extra of something to go along with my meal. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this place.

  • Jon S.

This is my second time I've been here for breakfast. The first time didn't really blow my socks off. This time was different! Had the Trifecta - two eggs, bacon, and a choice of pancakes. I had the bacon-cheddar pancakes, very good, and very different. Been here for lunch also, and it was great. Would gladly recommend a visit to here.

West 86th st. location near Trader Joe's and McNamara Florist: Clean. Friendly. We had a forgetful server. Had to ask 3x for extra napkins. She had a handful for me but then got distracted when a new customer arrived and she walked by us and visited at length with him, still holding our napkins and never came back. By the time I asked the last time for more napkins we were almost finished eating. The Greek omelet was insufficient on ingredients, for the price. Coffee is terrible. Over-priced compared to other spots offering breakfast. Parking is 'dangerous' - don't park where traffic comes through. Park on the side, or on the back row. Nearly got hit 5x trying to back out. I wouldn't eat here again. Felt neglected and ripped off.

Once again, I'm torn between a 3 and a 4. Let's call this a 3.5. :) The service was outstanding for us. Greeted promptly by the hostess, and our waitress was friendly and helpful. I like the decor quite a lot! It's nice and airy, and bright. Surely a good way to start the day! They were playing a VERY nice music mix the day we were there, also. It only added to the "This is going to be a great day!!" atmosphere. My wife's omelette was fantastic! My eggs were outstanding, and the potatoes were some of the best I've ever had! My biscuits and gravy were a bit of a disappointment, though. The gravy seemed to be devoid of any seasoning and was quite bland. Don't get me wrong, it didn't taste bad, it just didn't taste. :) So...based on everything else, we'll CERTAINLY be back. I'll just choose something other than the biscuits and gravy. Overall, a positive experience that merits a return visit.

Okay. Correct location. Did not know there were so many. I enjoyed my breakfast. I got the Killer Cajun omelet -- chicken, mushroom, cheeses, and onions. Potatoes on the side. I substituted the English muffin for multi-grain toast. About $8. Even better with my coupon.

  • Eve H.

Yummy food, lots of options, many of which are healthy. Smallish portions, but very reasonable prices for the quality. Friendly service and nice, casual ambiance. We will definitely return if it's on our path.

Dropped in this morning to see what all the fuss was about. They surely delivered. I got the famed Chickichanga. While I probably should've gone with my original intention (a hash variation), this dish was excellent. My wife has the Belgian waffle with a blueberry sauce on the side which was excellent. We really enjoyed the coffee as well. Price was on point. Only complaint was slightly slow service. I noticed it more on behalf of two tables nearby than ourselves though there was a slight lag on our account as well, but but enough to bother me. Will definitely be back.

Sweeeeet! I found another place for brunch. I have to thank mom for this one. I usually pick out places to try, but she insisted on going here. Glad she has good taste. I had the Floridian French Toast. It's Sourdough French toast with wheat germ and powdered cinnamon sugar, covered with fresh banana, kiwi and berries. Served with a blueberry compote. Outstanding!!! Everything is fresh and the service is good too. I will definitely return.

Rick and I planned to visit a new breakfast spot and this one ended up being the place. Housed in the former location of my beloved Sunrise Cafe, I had high hopes but low expectations. I must say, First Watch came shining through and we'll definitely be back! I first encountered First Watch when I lived in Kansas City, Missouri. They were always packed. This location was not, and I'm not really sure why. We were seated promptly and cheerfully, our orders were taken quickly, and we were served within a reasonable amount of time. Nice atmosphere - good selection of music that is not overpowering. For my breakfast I ordered the limited time Bacado omelette made with egg whites. It consists of egg whites stuffed with avocado slices, cheese and crumbled bacon. This omelette is served with seasoned potatoes, an English muffin and a side of salsa. It was exactly what I expected and satisfied my craving for avocado! If you are counting on food bursting with flavor (i.e. - highly spiced) this is not the place to visit. Rick commented that the sausage in his gravy was milder than he preferred. It didn't taste BAD...we just both like a little more heat and neither one of our entrees delivered in that category. The coffee is really good and there was a nice selection of creamers available should you choose to go that route. Overall, a very satisfying breakfast.

This is a great breakfast/lunch restaurant. We have eaten here many times now and are never disappointed with any aspect. Service, cleanliness and food choices are all great! There is literally something for everyone on the menu and everything we have tried so far has been great! We must be going at the right time of day because we haven't had to wait yet and have been there at least 6 times in the last few months.

    (5)
  • James R.

I'm never disappointed. A bit pricey, so I only come for lunch one a month or so. Very healthy, fresh food. The staff is great! Most have worked there since it opened. Can't go wrong here.

  • Bryna O.

David was our server and he was great! We were seated right away and our food came out so quickly, hot and delicious. We will definitely be back! I had the avocado toast and the avocados were very fresh! Hubs had bacon cheddar pancakes which I guess were good, he ate them all and didn't offer me any ;)

We came here yesterday and had to come back today. Very good food. Everything is very fresh. We are from the northwest and wish there was a First Watch back home! Best breakfast/lunch dining I've had in a very long time.

This was my 1st visit to First Watch. I had heard a couple of people talk about it so I figured I'd give it a try. I really like the place. The food is good, I had the 1/2 sandwich, 1/2 salad (beefeater/pecan dijon). As so often, it was the staff that really made the difference. My server was Lisa S. and she was great! Very friendly & personable, kept my drink filled & was there when I needed, but didn't hover. I'll definitely be back.

Best omelette and eggs Benedict we have had in a long time. Service was prompt, polite and extremely friendly. I wish we had one in North Carolina.

  • Josh R.

Very good food, but it's quality is overshadowed by another brunch restaurant in the strip. If that place is busy definitely come here. Lots of variety on the menu. Plenty of healthy choices. You won't be disappointed at all.

  • Jessica C.

I thought this place was so so. Service was great and we were seated quickly but the food is just average. Tulip Noir, Bubs, Patachou, or the Original Pancake House are better.

  • Brittany H.

I went here with my family because they didn't want to wait at Ruth's. For the price the food wasn't great. And the portions were small. We went at like 10 on a Sunday and it wasn't busy. There are other fantastic breakfast places in Indy I would go to before this in a heartbeat.

Clean, affordable and friendly. Open on Easter and reasonable prices. Ordered traditional breakfast. No surprises but was good.

  • Casey B.

I've been here a total of three times now- and I live forty five minutes away. I'm afraid to go anywhere else in the area in case it doesn't live up to this place. The food not only tastes excellent, it's also fresh and healthy. The service is fantastic, with the food arriving quickly. The price are fairly average for a sit down place. Definitely recommended.

  • Aditya S.

This place is currently hard to find due to construction that is going on right in front of its window in the strip mall. However, once you get past the scaffolding the place is neatly laid out and still lets a lot of sunlight in which is beautiful for a breakfast place and sets the right mood. I have the banana brulee' waffle, coffee and a side of well done potatoes with addition of cajun spices. The waffle was so soft and so tasty that i did not even feel like touching anything else. I just went straight at it and finished the whole thing. The coffee is good and the potatoes were done exactly the way i would have wanted and the cajun spices made it perfect. The service was as good as it gets as the person waiting our table attended to all our requests and even remembered my wife's dislike of super sweet breakfast and inquired if the crepes were to her liking. I was happy it was not just the typical "how is everything?" The bill came out to be only 24 and i walked out thoroughly satisfied. I am sure to return to this location for brunch maybe in the future to see how that is like.

  • Deb C.

Just had very disappointing food and presentation for my "lunch treat" on my day off. Chicken Pesto Quinoa oversauced, and had to search to find the promised kale. Carrots were from a bag, and had that old flavor and the chicken was pre cooked, likely frozen given taste texture. No sides, crackers, anything but a plain bowl on the table That and a diet coke was nearly 12 dollars! Definitely won't go back.

  • Dawn Z.

I was excited when I heard this place was coming to town, as its philosophy is fresh, wealthy food. I was a little worried that it wouldn't be as flavorful since it's "healthy," but that was far from the truth. They bring you your own pot of coffee and there are several different creamers at the table. The pancakes are huge, fluffy on the inside & crispy outside. We had pecan & banana/granola, both which were really flavorful. They also have turkey sausage links available. Potatoes were diced and sautéed with just a little onion - yum! Most importantly, service was great - friendly, attentive & welcoming. Will definitely be back!

I missed the Sunrise Cafe-First Watch was there instead. ( At first I thought it was a day care.) It reminded me of a generic Le Peeps. Coffee was awful, with little creamer packets, and muffins burnt to a crisp. Staff was super nice but a disapointing breakfast for the expensive price. Don't know about lunch-will not go back.

  • Erin J.

I eat a lot of breakfast food and am always looking for a good, unique eatery to add to the weekly repertoire. After trying breakfast here, I feel that 3 stars is being generous.... but left willing to give it a second try. My husband ordered the carrot cake pancakes with eggs and sausage. The pancake was fine, but not something I would get again. I would definitely try a different type. They charge extra for "real" maple syrup. Who does that??? And we asked for real butter not the fake stuff (dietary restrictions) but they only had the whipped spread. So fake butter, fake syrup, no cream, instead fake creamer packets, but the restaurant claims to be all about health. For a place that is supposed to be all about healthy eating, this seems pretty incongruent. For me, it was a Key West Crepegg - A thin crepe layered with eggs, turkey, avocado, bacon, tomatoes and Monterey Jack. Topped with sour cream and served with an English muffin and a side of housemade salsa. The egg was cooked into the crepe more like a hard crunchy omelet. And the housemade salsa was Pace Picante. Very little turkey, avocado, bacon and no cheese was in there. Maybe the kitchen is still working the kinks out. The service was good, the outside seating is great, and I would go back to try something else. But this experience was just meh.

--had Sunday breakfast here. This place is not fancy-shmancy w/ high prices. It was very good & affordable. The place has bright & cheerful colors to greet you. It's been in the old Sunrise Cafe spot since April, but we just discovered it. They offer some
