Nice place, close from tampa museum. Good, beautiful and good value. The salad that we order was good ( salmon salad) and the sandwich with chicken, bacon and goat cheese was very tasty.

This is my second time coming here in a while. What I remember was that they have the best sangria in town and great specials. Last time I had the red, which I think was better, but the white is also quite good. Service is very prompt and professional. I just left Anise dissatisfied and I already feel more comfortable here.

Everything we have eaten here is incredible and the service has been flawless! We come by regularly and encourage everyone else to do so. Everyone is so nice and if ever a mistake is made they have made up for it.

This place was AMAZING!!!! Hands down best mediterranean I've EVER had... And I eat a lot of it it's my favorite type of food! I would give it 10 stars if I could. Extremely flavorful, every bite was perfect and incredibly enjoyable!

Excellent food and service. I recommend the chicken fontina. They have a wide selection of appetizers and I've yet to find one I don't like. Additionally, their red sangria is a great pairing with any of their entrees and if you have room left, their desserts are quite pleasant as well. Try going there on a nice day and sitting outside.

The bread, the dips My taste buds do flips! White sangria, red wine I'm feeling divine! The Sunday special, two for one pitcher Our server's tip just got a whole lot richer! We've been here three hours, I don't care about things n stuff rhyming, Happy!! Weeee!

I received the creamiest, most delicious italian panini from here. It had roasted vegetables, which were red and green peppers, goat cheese, and a pesto aioli- all pressed to the perfect crunch! A side salad was indeed the perfect compliment to the vegetarian sandwich. It is so close to my work, and affordable! Love, love, love.

I thought most of the food in Tampa was boring (other than Cuban). This place is one of the better places in downtown - much better and healthier than fast food. Get the lamb gyro. Excellent!

My kids and I stopped by Paninoteca for lunch before seeing a play at the Straz Center. It is just a few blocks away and an easy walk. I loved the decor of the restaurant and it looked lovely decorated for the holidays. The three of us shared a salad and two entrees. First up was the roast beef focaccia sandwich. This thing was HUGE! The bread was crispy and chewy and delicious. The smoked provolone and the aioli gave it a unique taste and we all loved it. The other entree that we shared was herb roasted lamb on pita. I felt like we had to try this since it was mentioned so often in reviews and we weren't disappointed. I didn't realize until later that there is an option to have it with tahini rather than tzatziki, but we loved it with the tzatziki anyway. Both sandwiches were served with a small salad of baby greens drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette. If I had realized that (maybe I should read menus more thoroughly?) I wouldn't have ordered a salad for us to share, But we did share the grilled chicken and apple salad. With pancetta, candied walnuts, and gorgonzola it was a very robust salad and we ended up with much more food than the three of us could eat. I ended up taking most of the salad home and enjoyed it later. We had great service and a very enjoyable lunch.

Deeeeelish! Everything on the menu is great. Service is just a tad slow but worth it!

Great great food, great prices- definitely worth going to while in downtown Tampa. Hummus, and spinach tapas were the bomb, and Greek salad was perfect.

My brother and his friends have created a weekly get-together solely because of the sangria here. They call it Sangria Sundays, so if you're ever there on a Sunday night and see a group of Asians, that's my brother. They love the sangria so much that I had to join them to try it for myself. We had the white one, which seriously tastes like Apple Jacks cereal. I understand why they love it so much. However, I'M not a fan of cinnamon in my drinks, so I wasn't as excited as they were. Apparently, the red is also good but I have yet to taste. So I can't say anything about the food, but definitely try the sangria.

  • Misty B.

The food was pretty good, but overall we weren't in love. The baba ghanouj had an odd color and lackluster flavors. The tabouli, however, was fantastic, and the pita was warm with a nice crunch. Lamb meatballs were OK; savory lovers: Watch out for the dates on top. I actually prefer Kurdi's around the corner when they're on top of their game.

    (3)
  • Paul B.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. We had the Dolmades, Baba Ganouj, Kofta and Chicken Pancetta and all were excellent. The Sangria and Tiramisu were also amazing. Outside seating was very nice too on a cool fall Tampa Sunday.

  • Spencer J.

Nice decor, nice ambiance, and the waiter was friendly and responsive as well. Great food! I had the gyro in a pita. Very flavorful and well seasoned. The dish could have definitely benefited from a little added side dish on the plate (other than the token two leaves of spring lettuce) but the sandwich itself was great. I recommend this place and will go back.

I had jury duty today, so by lunch time I was quite cranky. I took to the streets to try to find a quick healthy lunch. I stopped into Paninoteca without even reading the Yelp reviews (WHAT!?). That ended up being a great decision. I sat at the bar and quickly ordered a Greek Salad with Chicken (why reinvent the wheel)? The food came pretty quickly and the salad was lovely. I really enjoyed the scoop of potato salad and all of the fresh feta. The dressing was creamy and delicious too. I was in and out within an hour and able to be on time for part 2 of jury duty. This is definitely a great downtown spot.

After passing by this place we decided to stop in for the first time today. The menu was a little overwhelming personally, but everything sounded tasty. I got an order of stuffed grape leaves and a chicken fatoush pita wrap, while my fiancé got the roasted lamb pita. I was hoping for something very flavorful with the grape leaves, but they were typical. As for the chicken fatoush pita, everything was very fresh but it didn't blow me away. My fiancé's lamb pita was dry and lacked seasoning. It's saving grace was the delicious tzatziki and onion. All in all, the staff was friendly and the food was okay. It's in a good spot, so we might pop in another time if we get the cravings for Greek food.

  • Gigi S.

I haven't had a bad sammich here yet. By the looks of the other reviews they may have a problem with consistency. I discovered this place when a friend was djing on the street corner every weekend. They allowed us to bring our bottles and sold us the mixers. It was a great time with fine food under the stars downtown. I like the location and will be back to try more!

    (4)
  • Kathy W.

Stopped by for a early dinner before the Tampa Theatre which is right down the street. We had the lamb pita and were very pleased. The prices are reasonable and the waiter attentive.

  • Rebecca D.

Best Greek I've had in years! Everything is delicious!

    (5)
  • Shonali M.

Food was great and price was very reasonable, however the manager was awful. I had given my credit card to pay and the waitress had somehow misplaced it. Mistakes happen, so my friends and I tried to help search for the credit card, however the manager rudely told us not to stand behind the bar counter and also asked for another form of payment for my $5 meal (after THEY had lost the credit card). Again, food and price were reason, but customer service was AWFUL. Definitely not going back to this place!

What a pleasant surprise this place was! My friends and I happened upon this place around 9:15pm on a Sunday because the place we intended to go to was closed. I'm glad we decided to go in because I love Mediterranean food. The service was unusually slow for a late Sunday night. There was a moment when I was in need of a water refill and found myself waiting 10-15 minutes during the meal and when our server finally came by to check on us, she looked at the table with my empty glass and didn't say anything about refilling my drink but rather asked "Are you guys okay?" I wonder if she would have refilled it had I not asked for a refill... tiny complaint, but not a deal-breaker. As for the food-- the hummus was good, BUT the highlight of the meal was the herb-roasted lamb pita...absolutely delicious... slightly heavy on the red onions, but delicious nonetheless. I certainly look forward to my next visit to sample other items on the menu.

Met up with a friend for lunch here and sat outside on a perfect Florida winter day! I ordered the chicken salad panini and didn't really expect much of it. Lo and behold, I was treated to a yummy, creamy and fresh chicken salad on some lucscious bread, with a side of dressed greens. The ingredients were well prepared and very light. Really good stuff - if I lived in the area, I would come here regularly for lunch.

  • Evan B.

Went here on a Sunday before leaving on a cruise the next day; loved it! 1/2 price pitchers of sangria on Sunday; got 6 sizable glasses out of it and it was some of the BEST sangria we've ever had; not too sweet, plenty of alcohol...It got the vacation started right! Hummus was creamy and tasty; too much tahini sauce on the lamb gyro but didn't ruin the experience. The women in our group got salads (shocking) and both were massive and delicious. We loved this place so much, we returned 8 hours later for evening sangria pitchers!

  • Kavita M.

Went there with a group of friends before a show at the Straz. Great food, waitress was very attentive. Good variety of small plates and sandwiches and the portions were generous. The baba ganoush, ceviche and feta spread were fantastic. My only wish is that they had a more extensive wine list and that the wine is served in better glasses :).

    (4)
  • Martic R.

From the outside you would think this place it's bigger than it actually is, there is a small bar area and about 8 tables inside and a few others outside. They had 2 for 1 Sangria's so we had to get that. I'm usually not a Sangria fan because they tend to be too sweet so I asked to taste them both and decided for red surprisingly the white was much sweeter. I ordered the Hummus and Dolamdes and both were good. I tried their sandwich which was spinach and cheese in a flaky pastry dough. I would definitely go back for the Sangria and to try other food menu options. I wish there were bike racks around the restaurant area here. Based on the size of this location it will probably be a good take out place.

Recently found this place recent and wasn't sure why I hadn't gone earlier! This is right downtown -- and easy walk from anywhere. You can sit inside or outside--which is nice this time of year. I have only been for lunch, but I have tried a few of the sandwiches and they have all been awesome. I think the secret is in the bread -- which is fresh and really tasty. The only drawback to this place is -- no real parking. But if you are already downtown--it is highly recommended.

I had a Groupon ($15 for $30) so I treated my dental assistant to lunch. We shared a Greek salad and each ordered the herb roasted lamb pita. The Greek salad was very very good. I would definitely order that again. The lamb pita was also good- a little heavy on the onion and tzatziki but healthier tasting than a traditional gyro. The pita was nice and chewy but lacked the pizzazz of those with a fried, crunchy outer layer. Definitely healthier tasting so a nice change of pace. I will definitely return for more Greek sald and to try more sandwiches.

  • Calvin C.

Really bland food and rude staff esp the idiot that resembled Fez from that 70s show . I am from out of town but would never go back if I were in Tampa again.

    (1)
  • Eddie C.

Delicious! Probably the best bruschetta this side of the Atlantic! Red sangria was also amazing and the ambiance is perfect. Definitely recommend for a laid back hangout or a classy date without the pomp.

    (5)
  • David D.

Poor presentation and the blandest lamb I've ever had. Not worth what they're charging.

  • Rachel H.

Paninoteca had catered an event I'd been to recently and I'd really enjoyed the spread at the meeting (hummus mainly--it's crack to me). I went for lunch today and while I enjoyed what I'd ordered, there wasn't anything that separated it from what I could get a Pita Pit down the street and paid 3$ less. I ordered the Hummus Pita, with was overflowing with lettuce, hummus, and a vinaigrette. It came with a salad on the side which was basically just what the pita was filled with so maybe it would have been better paired with some non-lettuce salad, (pasta, potato, etc.). The pita was so difficult to eat, I ended up just scooping out most of it with my fork and eating the pita separately. It was very tasty though and I didn't mind the deconstructed sandwich. With tip the entire meal was $11 which was a little steep for such a light lunch.

Only go on Sunday if you have a lot of time to kill. The food is great but the wait staff is clearly overwhelmed. The kitchen is really slow too. We waited thirty minutes for our appetizer. And then another twenty for the waiter to get our check. They need more help.

There is something about this place I really like... Right in the heart of Downtown Tampa - corner of Twiggs and Franklin. The interior is really well put together, and quaint. I usually choose to sit outside. Its an awesome location to just creepily people watch while drinking a nice glass of wine. Privately owned - so yes, they do run out of things once in a while, as they should. It shows that their ingredients are fresh. Their Hummus is amazing, Lamb Meatballs are a little expensive but definitely worth it. All the sandwiches I have has there are amazing. My favorite is when you take the prosciutto tomato mozzarella and put it on Focaccia- perfection.Their Kofta is out of this world. Anything with cheese! All their cheeses are so good! Nice wine selection. They also have Sangria if you are into that kind of thing. It is the kind of place that could be good for Lunch, Dinner, Date, Family... anything really.

Paninoteca is one of those hidden gems in downtown Tampa that you might miss unless you happen to walk right by it. It's on the corner of Twiggs and Franklin. The place is small with six tables and a small bar inside and several tables outside. Don't let the looks deceive you. I am a hummus nut, and the hummus here is outstanding. It had a strong, authentic flavor. So does the tzatziki. These give "homemade" a new meaning. If you can catch the special salad and spanakopita, you're in for a treat. The filo dough is delicious, and the spinach mix is very fresh. The salad had an overabundance of feta cheese, which is a plus in my book. It didn't have potato salad in the middle though. They only do that on the full size salads, not the half salad that comes with the special. The pitas are large and stuffed. The Mediterranean Chicken pita is served filled with roasted vegetables and garlic aioli. Beats lettuce and tomato every day of the week. The place does sandwiches, pitas, salads, and appetizers. So if you are in the mood for a light lunch or dinner with a delicious Greek flavor, Paninoteca is a good spot. I'm a fan!

    (4)
  • Reesie R.

Best Paninis in Tampa! I highly recommend the Chicken Pancetta (I subbed the sun ripened tomatoes for regular and goat cheese for mozz). Out of this world. Also, the smoked turkey focaccia is delish! The aioli sauce is to die for! This gem better stay for years to come!

  • Mike S.

The name is accurate since they offer an nice array of dishes from all around the (northern) Mediterranean coast, from Spain to Greece. Simple meals of pita, cheese & olives are very nice. Small and more oriented to take-out, but some tables to eat on the spot. Exellent salad and dessert pastries, but sometimes run out of some menu items in the evening since their main service rush seems to be lunch-time. Located in the middle of downtown on the corner of Twiggs. So on-street parking is scarce in the daytime, but if you already have a space for other business, this is a fine place to drop in for lunch, and a few seats outside are available for good weather.

  • Kevin S.

Had lunch with friend. The food was good. The service was questionable. When my friend asked I they could cook the salmon to a specific temperature, the answer was an immediate "no". Had to routinely raise hand to get attention.

    (3)
  • Susie S.

Very tasty Mediterranean food. Great vegetarian roasted veggie sandwich with cheese and toasted soft flaky bread. Get the creamy cheese with pita.

    (4)
  • Frani B.

Loved the menu at Paninoteca! Wanted to try the restaurant for quite a while and finally did! They offered great appetizers and entrees, love the mediterranean menu as it appeared (and proved itself) authentic. Try the Sangria, it is a must!

  • Erin W.

Definitely get here before noon or after 1:30! It it BUSY during the lunch hour - for a good reason! I didn't check in as many times as I should have, but when I worked downtown I would eat here at least once a week and never had a bad meal. My favorite here is the Calabrese panini. It has salami, huge chunks of mozzarella and tomato with their house made vinaigrette and olive tapanade. It's a big sandwich, but I can't resist getting the tzatziki with their warm fresh pita. I suggest getting extra pita - it's a large portion, too. I tried a bite of my friend's chicken fontina panini as well, and it was delish! Like I mentioned, it gets busy during lunch hour, and there are only about five tables inside and maybe six outside. If you find a place outside on Franklin street, it's pretty quiet and you're not bothered by all the downtown traffic noise. If you haven't given this a try - I would absolutely recommend Paninoteca next time you're downtown!

  • Steve L.

Wanted to try something new and we were coming from the Tampa Theatre only a block away. We didn't have any expectations but were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Pancetta on Italian Pane and it was really good, the goat cheese made it exceptional but the bread tasted like it was baked in-house. Very well done! My girlfriend ordered the Prosciutto Pane with mozzarella, tomato, and pesto aioli. It was fresh and flavorful. Would go back again!

  • Paula S.

Ate here last Saturday and had the roasted lamb pita (as has been mentioned in quite a few reviews, apparently). Lots of excellently cooked meat, and the tzatziki was fantastic. If the parking situation in downtown Tampa weren't so much of a pain, I'd eat here a lot more often. As it is, this is the place I mention to my family when they want to come visit. It's not the most prominently lit place in downtown, so you could be forgiven for driving by and thinking it's closed (I did on one occasion), but Paninoteca's website actually says it's open until 11PM. (That's really nice, considering that most of that section of downtown closes not too long after the nearby offices do.) Of the times I've been here, the service has always been quick and the food excellent. Great place, and I hope it stays open for years to come.

Mediterranean lunch feel restaurant in the middle of Tampa. The menu has a majority of lunch items, such as wraps, panini's, or pita's. If you are looking for a large selection of Mediterranean foods, look else where as quick and easy sandwichy items are pretty much all they have. That still doesn't mean you should skip on this great place. The ingredients were fresh and made to order. I had the Mediterranean chicken panini that was pretty good and filling. It comes with a little side salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Average dish is about $7-8 with a total bill of around $10-12 when you walk out. Well worth the price for lunch and a nice casual dinner. The bottled mineral water that they put on the table is $4.50 and is not on the menu, so be warned.

    (4)
  • Edita P.

This is a downtown Tampa favorite for my family. Every time I go I must have the prosciutto panini which is plentiful, so my husband and I share that and then always get a few other things. Food has always been delicious and never disappointing.

  • Zlata F.

Hubbz and I were in town for a bike tournament. After it was over, there were barely any restaurants open, let alone open to accommodate a party of 14. We came across Paninoteca and after verifying with my Yelp app that it was good, agreed to try it. DEE-LISH-OUS. Greek salad was great, hummus and baba ganouj. Also, service was fantastic!

  • Courtney G.

This place is adorable and perfectly located on Franklin. It is the only place I've ever seen offer a chocolate covered Baklava. They even offer a small coffee menu which isn't the best ever but still quite good, plus the setting makes it ideal for coffee/studying which isn't typically so for a restaurant.

  • Crista P.

This was sort of a weird place as far as I'm concerned. I did go on a Sunday which may be part of the weirdness. It's a super small joint with a few indoor and outdoor tables, a wine-bar-looking bar area and .... Hookahs. I had the herb roasted lamb pita and a glass of Pinot Grigio. The sandwich was good, nice quality, tasty lamb and homemade tzatziki sauce. The pita was fresh and moist. If you're a fan of extra sauce- holy cow, you get it. There was too much for me so I wished I had ordered it on the side. The server I had was efficient although not friendly at all. When the check came, I was shocked to find out that the miniature glass of Pinot Grigio I ordered was TEN freaking dollars!!! It wasn't even anything special... It was Santa Margherita which I think you can buy a whole bottle for the whopping ten bucks. Nice spot for a quick lunch. Next time I will be ordering the sangria special which everyone on here seemed to be fond of.

  • Hilary P.

One word: amazing! Best hummus ever... Great paninis! The mozz/tomato/basil is always great... They put a homemade garlic aoili on some of the sandwiches which make them always a standout. My boyfriend got the lamb gyro, the meet was really tender and overall a great choice. Nice to eat outside, busy lunch crowd, good service and very authentic.

  • Michael S.

i had the lamb sandwich, Very tasty but a bit chewy and to much cucumber dill sauce for me but it was easly wiped off, the staff was very nice and i enjoyed my meal. very authentic looking menu

  • Kyle G.

Had dinner and drinks here last night. I've had their food at an event before, but haven't ever eaten in the restaurant. Service was friendly, even though it was 9:45pm on a Thursday. The place itself is on the small side, but it makes it cozy - not uncomfortable, and has a great patio on the corner of Twiggs & Franklin. As far as the food, the sangria was awesome (and well worth the slightly-elevated price). The baba ghanoush appetizer was FANTASTIC, as was my Italian Tuna Salad. LOVE having great restaurants like this in Downtown TPA!!!

One of my favorite spots in Downtown Tampa for a quick lunch before work. The girls that work there are super cute and friendly, and the food is to die for. Try the chicken fontina- It's so good, I'm physically unable to even try anything else because every time I come there I crave it! ;)

  • Kipp C.

Unbelievable food at a great price. The hummus and panini's are amazing. This place is a must stop if you are looking for a good bite to eat in downtown. The service is courteous and professional and it generally seems the employees enjoy working there.

My friends and I have had lunch at Paninoteca a couple of weeks ago. We really enjoyed our lunch. First we have ordered some hummus and it was very very good. We couldn't stop eating it and we had to get some more pita. I had ordered some lamb sandwich or wrap - it was very very good. Highly recommend it.

  • John C.

I liked this restaurant so much, I went there twice during a relatively short visit to Tampa. Their roasted garlic and feta spread was fantastic, as was their chicken and apple salad. My favorite, though, was their sangria--full of apple chunks with a strong flavor of cinnamon. The wait staff was attentive although a tad slower than I was used to. But then, that was the case for all of the establishments I visited while in Tampa.

  • Pam D.

Awful, awful, awful. I ordered a Greek salad to go and not only was my credit card over charged, but the salad was so small it wasn't worth half of what I paid. On top of it, the "servers" were dressed like they had just come from the gym-- nasty and really unprofessional. I would NEVER go back to this place.

    (1)
  • Hicham T.

I always get the herb roasted lamb. It is to die for!

Super good. I had a greek salad. We also ordered bruschetta and baba ganouj. Everything was excellent. It tasted very fresh. I want to go back tomorrow.

Very small and short on seating. Pita wrap was very hard to eat and overstuffed. Baklava was pretty amazing though. Would try this place again.

$11 for a gyro...they must not realize that pita pit is across the street.

    (2)
  • Merry K.

Really neat decor in this place, very modern. Service was great. This place doesn't seem like it gets loads of business, so the only drawback is that the food while very good is probably heated up from a batch of uncertain preparation date. I would recommend them to make smaller batches of their dishes more frequently so it is fresher. I would say that their accompanying salad with the dish was fantastic.

    (4)
  • Justin R.

We went here for lunch on a Saturday. I have to say their hummus was pretty tasty, and I liked the fact that they pressed their pita. I ordered a beef kofta pita sandwhich, with roasted red peppers. Here's my dilemma: I wanted Kefta Kabob. They didn't really have any kabob on the menu, which was weird for a Mediterranean establishment. The service was slow, and nothing to great. Decor was ok, and the sandwich was plated well, but not excellent. I liked what I got, it's just that they didn't have what I wanted. Which I guess is more a me problem....anyways worth checking out, but it was expensive. OH I almost forgot, they charged me $ 4.50 for a bottle of pellegrino....I wasn't too happy about that.

  • Judy A.

My husband and i ate there last week when in town on business...I have to say that the food was authentic, fresh and a pleasure, nice sidewalk tables and friendly staff. We ate there for lunch and also took some friends there for dinner a few days later. My husband especially enjoyed the lamb. Tapas was served with fresh warm pita bread and was refilled as needed. Great lunch!!!

  • Gaetano P.

Ignore that other review. This place has great panini and other sandwiches. And it is cheap. I never order anything but water but you get a panino big enough for two meals for about $7.50. That's crappy subway prices but great local biz quality. I live downtown and I consider this place one of the perks. Also they have hookas etc. But I've never tried any of that.

  • victoria w.

Great VALUE! The food is great and can not be beat for the price! Went there for dinner as we were staying downtown and there are not alot of restaurants open at night down there. Walking distance from our hotel! Try the hummus and mediterranean chicken pita. YUMMY!

  • Tokuda B.

I love this place . We had a pitcher of Red Sangria, which was only $15 and amazing. The spanokopita was amazing and so was the true lamb gyro. Normally the lamb would be cut from a rolling thing ( whatever it's called) but this was definitely real lamb. The Tzatziki sauce was so tasty. Not bland like some places. Greek food is one of my fav cuisines, so I have high expectations and this place met them greatly. Not only was the food great, but they have hookah and the waitresses were wonderful. A great option for a Sunday brunch.

    (5)
  • Tamara W.

The service the food the sangria- all amazing. It's a Sunday afternoon tradition!!! We love the Greek salad with or without salmon, smoked turkey panini with facioacha Spanakopita also a favorite.

Super chill - Super nice. What a great spot with a quiet sidewalk setting. I stopped in for a glass of wine - so I can't pass judgement on the food. Service was outstanding. I'll be back for more.

Been here a couple of times most recently on 8/22/15. Both times have been great. This review on most recent visit. Think the owner waited on us. Service was so fast and the place which is small on the inside was crowded. $6 glasses of sangria were awesome. The glasses were filled to the rim not 1/3 full which is typical. They have 1/2 price Sangria on Sundays and noted that there were lots of ladies there Sunday for Sangria!! Also noted that when we were in for dinner everyone had Sangria it was that good! Had the lamp pita and daughter had the salmon salad which she said was one of the best salads she's ever had. Will be a Tampa staple when visiting.

What a pleasant day. Totally enjoyed the fresh greens and yummy civiche, white sangria. And what a lovely attitude. Thanks for the great visit.

Decent place to stop by for a quick lunch, although service was suspect (never coming by once for refills or bringing the check or taking the check until I had to prompt them all three times) when the place didn't seem particularly busy. They were all parties of two or three with empty tables as the lunch hour was winding down. But when I received the service, they were friendly and nice. The menu is divided into small plates, soup/salad, pitas and paninis. I got the herb roasted lamb ($10.95) pita, which was filled with well-seasoned lamb slices with tomato, onion and tzatziki. Not the zippiest tzatziki I ever had. It was more on the thicker side. Came with a side of greens. The space has an upscale feel thanks to the dark wood furniture, marble bar and brick interior, and I'd imagine that's how the atmosphere is during the evenings. I think they make their own baklava, which I wish I knew beforehand. If I visited the area again, I'd get the chicken pancetta panini that has sundried tomato, spinach and pesto aioli on Italian.

It's been a minute since I've been here and I had forgotten how good it is! I absolutely love their baba ganouj and tzatziki. Freaking awesome. The lemonade is excellent too and I literally never order lemonade anywhere. They have certainly achieved the perfect balance of sweet and acid. Service is great too. Will be back. I think this is a good place to grab lunch before a long flight back out west.

This place is great. Simple, affordable, with a great ambiance and tasty food at a great price point. They offer outside seating and there's a simple, yet classy wine bar inside with comfortable seating. The staff was easy going, attentive, generous and helpful; plus my food came out in less than 5 minutes! I will definitely come back the next time I'm in town. Try the Greek salad with chicken if you'd like a healthy and filling option.

My husband and I grabbed lunch this past weekend at Paninoteca and it was delicious as always. They have some great outdoor seating for this perfect Florida winter weather. The Chicken Pancetta sandwich is perfect for satisfying that sandwich craving. I order it without the Pancetta but the combination of the goat cheese, sundried tomatoes, spinach and aioli is absolute heaven. I also like that they serve their sandwiches with a small side salad as a healthier option. My husbands Herb Roasted Lamb Pita was just as delicious. It was smothered with Tzatski and super refreshing. The lamb meat was tender and flavorful as well. But my all time fave dish is the Garlic and Feta dip served with warm pita wedges.

Delicious and fun place. We had really good wraps and pitas for lunch here. I had hummus wrap, which was messy to eat but good. Others had chicken salad and roast beef. It is very casual here. A good choice for a simple meal.

Awesome find. We stopped by for a drink and found they have 2x1 sangrias and half Off Sangria pitchers. The red sangria was awesome topped with fresh apples. They also have shisha, which is an interesting pairing. We didn't eat but I would go back simply for those delicious sangrias.

One of the better Greek spots in Tampa, if not the best. The hummus and flavored iced teas are a great way to start your meal. I had the Mediterranean chicken pita and it was great to try something new. Portions are large and service is quick and friendly. Everyone I went with kept raving about how their meal was the best. You won't be disappointed.

The food was good. A bit pricey though. I ordered a lamb pita and it was tasty. It was a bit raw and not well-done, so if you're into healthy meats I'd say inform them. Service was friendly and the food came within seconds! Highly recommend to try.

The hummus is great, even though the pita bread was microwaved. The Greek salads were awesome. We ordered one with salmon and one with grilled chicken. Both were delicious and filling. The tea is the best I've ever had. The server was kind and attentive. Great place, close to The Hilton Downtown.
