I always recommend the pizza and calzones!

I prefer Anthony's pizza but I didn't feel like dealing with rush hour traffic so I headed to the Old Chicago in Superior for a pie. I had the Hawaiian pizza and it was okay. Besides the usual pineapple and ham they put red peppers and green onions on it. The combination of sweet and spicy was pretty good, the crust could have been cooked a little longer. The service was just ok and they weren't that busy at the time. The chocolate chip cookie was good though. Overall there are lots of better pizza joints around but it is close and predictable.

Staff was very nice, food wasnt. It was late at night close to closing so it was crowded. Food came out wrong, and cold.

Nice looking restaurant. I came with a group of people from my training class and sat in the bar. There was a good number of tables, many TV's to see the playoff games going on, and it was quiet enough to carry on a conversation. The menu has a wide selection, but I went with the classic pizza, Chicago style. We also started with the pizza rolls. The rolls were alright, but I didn't find them to be different than something I've made at home before. The pizza was also a little disappointing. It reminded me a lot of Pizza Hut. It was NOT traditional Chicago pizza at all. The reason for coming here though over Outback Steakhouse, which was closer to the hotel and the preference of a few in the group, was that they have many options of local beers on tap. I was able to try a handful of beers and the server gladly brough samples of each one before I grabbed a pint. There were some interesting fruit beers, some delicious stouts, and everything in between. If you're looking for a place to go to get decent pizza at a reasonable price this is a good place. If you want to be wowed by anything, then this is not for you.

This place needs new management. I went to have lunch with a dear friend from out of town. We waited outside for twenty minutes after they were supposed to be open. No one even came to unlock the door! ill never go back there again.

We came here for lunch and sat for an hour before I went up to the bar and asked (who we now know is Darek) him to take our order. I asked, 10 minutes pass, nothing. We asked for the check and left. Only come if here if you have 3 hours to spare! SMH - ridic.

Love the food at Old Chicago. Everything is made fresh in house and the presentation is always nice. The service however can sometimes be lacking even when they are not busy. It is typicallly very slow, but I'm usually not in a rush. I have worked in a restaurant for years and know that all ticket times should run under 20 minutes. Please amp up the service OC's! The happier your customers are with the service, the more often they will return!

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered a pretzel and a slider. Waited 45 minutes and did not get any food. Bar tender comped my beer. I would recommend staying away until they replace the management staff. Good luck if you decide to eat here.

Come on man! This is a sports bar/pizza joint. And it does both at a very acceptable level of service and quality. Price point is better than most of the Louisville/Boulder places. Service is good and the folks are genuinely friendly. I live just outside Louisville and the location, current road construction aside, is most convenient.

Wait staff was good, very friendly. Food was great, I haven't had thick pan style crust cooked so well in a really long time. The spicy fried pickles made for a great appetizer. My husband was a big fan of their beer selection.

Had lunch here today, the grilled cheese with tomato soup dip, it looked like a five year old made it and it was warm to cold. My husband had the nachos, yuk! It was awful, had no flavor. My grandson had the kids cheese pizza, he ate it all; perhaps I should have the kids pizza should I ever decide to dine here again.

Had a horrible experience at this Old Chicago! Served chicken wings that showed up raw in the center. My server, Taylor, was very apologetic and grabbed the manager. She proceeded to tell me I was wrong as they deep fried and double baked the wings...Also stated it must be a vein...really, half the wing was pink! I know raw meat when I bite into it, my insides also knew it later in the day. She didn't even bother to apologize just gave me a menu for another choice. Used to be a good place to eat, now not so good. Taylor is an excellent waitress, if I were her I'd find a better restaurant to work!

The service was terrible. We sat at a table in the bar area, but there were only 2 other tables of people in that area, so that shouldn't be an excuse. Lots of small things like not bringing a straw when she said she'd go get one. We ordered salads and lunch pizzas, very simple orders. 30 minutes later we asked if we could have our salads early, she looked surprised and brought them right out. Either she totally forgot about them, or they serve them with the pizza, which I've never seen done. A few minutes later, barely having had a chance to start on the salads, our food comes out. Well, almost everyone's meal come out. They bring me a sandwhich, even though I ordered a pizza. Another person explains they ordered ranch fries, and the waiter (not the person who took our order) tells us that isn't on thier menu. Uh, why didn't our waitress say anything when it was ordered? Anyways, so much time had passed we scarfed down our food and tried to get back to work before we were too late. Given the option, I won't choose this place again.

It's a chain so I shouldn't be so harsh on it. The menu selection has something for everyone: thin crust pizzas, their famous chicago style pizzas, appetizers of all sorts of fried goodness, as well as salads, sandwiches, and burgers. I got the malibu chicago pizza and it was pretty delicious. My only complain was that it was more like a PAN pizza than a true chicago style pizza...Call me a hefer but it needed a good 2 inches to it's height to make it even comparable to Unos! There are plenty of seating and tvs here. My waitress was NOT good that night. She kept forgetting parts of our order, kept asking us the same question over and over again (do you need a box to go), and forgot what we ordered. She probably had a long day at work but it was really bad.

Restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, and they made us wait for 15 min before seating the two of us. A large group came in 15 min after us, and got their food first. The server is not friendly and we appear to be an inconvenience. Terrible terrible service. We just wanted a nice date night.

Only a few folks in the bar at five pm...the beer was ok but then people started to arrive and I sat there for 40 minutes waiting to order. Eventually I got up and just left. Stupid. Awful bartender.

There's nothing much to complain or rave about for Old Chicago. The pizza is not bad, for what it is, but why they are referring to it as Chicago-style pizza vexes me, except that it's deep dish if you want. They do have a very good draft beer selection, but the prices on that draft beer selection? Not very good- Coors, Bud, etc. pints are $3.69, which is not impressive. They do have occasional specials for beer- when we were there they had Buffalo Gold pints for $2.69, which is pretty good. Old Chicago also has a twice-nightly happy hour, which depending on your location, can be very good. Some locations have great happy hour and others do not. Most, however, do have $2.69 pints and $2.69 mini-pizzas with one topping, which are not that mini, (6 inches). Unfortunately, the Greeley location has the beautiful thing known as Fat Tire Tuesday, where 25 oz fat tires are $2.5. That's pretty incredible, but only at that location.

Pretty typical as far as the bar/pizza joint, although they seem to have lots of beer choices. I'm disappointed in that they bill their pizza as Chicago deep dish, when it's really just thick-crust pizza. Chicago deep dish is a real pie - flaky, buttery crust on the bottom and sides, filled with sauce and toppings, capped with a layer of cheese and heavy sauce. It should be an ocean of red sauce on top. Here, it's just thick crust, and frankly, the crust tastes pre-made. But as far as regular pizza goes, it's one of the better ones I've eaten, so it's not a bad choice. It is expensive, though, at $20+ for a medium, thick crust, average pizza. Unfortunately I can't rate them highly when people are misled into believing that this is what Chicago pizza tastes like.

The service was horrible! My husband and I went in and sat at the bar waiting for the waiter. We waited for 20 mins and nobody came to serve us. We saw the waiters chatting with each other at the bar. The place was pretty empty, so I know they weren't busy. The waiter made eye contact with us and totally ignored us. After waiting for 30 mins without anyone coming by, we decided to just leave. The food is not that good to wait that long. This isn't the first time we got bad service here. Whoever is managing this place is not doing their job.

By far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. We went in with my 22 month old son on a Wednesday evening around 530. It took about fifteen minutes to be seated, even though there were visibly at least ten tables open (should have been a sign to begin with). Our waitress took her time showing up and didn't bring our drinks for a good ten minutes. Then the fun started. We ordered an appetizer with our drinks then proceeded to wait 50 minutes to get it. During this time she refilled my water once, never offered anything else to us, and feebly apologized for the wait while pointing out a larger table that obviously was taking precedence. I really started to get upset when waitstaff consistently brought other tables their food while my son started crying because he was so hungry and didn't understand why none of it was coming to him. Our appetizer finally arrived, stone cold and soggy. It was such a mess that we told her we were just going to leave. She begged us to stay, assuring us that the entrees would be up in 3 to 4 minutes. Really? Ok then. Our son's food was cold, dry, and nasty. Our pizza was, to their only credit, hot and seemed to be good. However, we're both now sick the next day and regretting our decision to stay there even more. The manager finally did comp our bill after I was able to track her down (she had on no uniform, just a pink t-shirt that was frumpy and in no way professional). She apologized, said she had been made aware of the situation earlier - gee, thanks for coming out and rectifying it then, right? - and eventually offered to "buy us dinner" after also making an excuse about the large table (maybe ten people). Moral of the story? Only wait an hour for food there if you want to spend an hour with your head in the toilet later. Thanks for the free vomit, Old Chicago.

So sorry I went to Old Chicago the other night and ruined her evening. That's how I felt when she discovered I was only ordering water and a dessert. I wrote on the back of my receipt, "You never know when someone is going to come in with $100 to tip you for excellent service." On this night.. I did.. but she didn't earn it. Awful service.. at a place where the service is so much better.

One of the better Old Chicago locations I've been to in the West. They have some of the great local crafts on tap, and their tap lines seem to be a lot cleaner than the garbage served up at the Glendale, AZ location. Food is fairly standard as far as Old C's go, nothing bad, nothing great, just overall pretty good. Prices are very reasonable considering the higher prices that are so common this close to Boulder. Very convenient location right off the freeway, and in the same building structure as Superior liquors.

Okay. Bar service has always been excellent and the beers here are decent. Nice perks for your birthday and at Christmas where various "credits" are loaded onto your World Beer Tour card. Wait staff at the bar has been excellent. Wait staff in the dining room has been not bad. Service has always been prompt. Pizzas are Okay but not Chicago-authentic at all. This place does in a pinch when I am too lazy to drive over to Little Nick's in Wheat Ridge. Parking is okay here but the mall is small and people tend to go crazy down the main aisle heading to and from the liquor store so watch the traffic. I'd recommend the appetizers (cheesesticks) over a Pizza here but the pizza is decent. Not horrible and not excellent - pretty much as Albert H. stated in his review. Overall, it's decent, if nothing to get excited about. It's close to the house for when the last minute pizza urge or a beer urge hits. A solid 3 * performer.

We've ate here several times and I've never had anything I didn't like. Pizza, burgers, salad all great! It's also a big plus that they stay open super late and still serve food. We went to a movie across the hwy and went and had a meal at 11:30 or so.

Let me tell you guys, the bacon fries are so good here and our server was awesome. He was not pushy or over the top annoying. Over all, it was a pleasant experience.

This review is based only on the unfriendly employees "greeting" me. How awesome to be greeted by three non-smiling hostesses. The other two seem to in the process of being trained by the other. The trainer is NOT a happy girl. She is constantly running her hands through her hair, which is just gross in a restaurant setting. I'm watching her roll her eyes at customers and frown. Based on this welcome alone I'm considering going home and cooking up some top ramen.
