This place had Q outdoor seating. And the service was quick. Food was great. I would recommend them again.

This is one of the larger Panera Breads I have been too. Spacious and comfortable, with good seating outside. I went for a dinner fix on business travel and was surprised there were a couple dirty tables even though the place was not too busy. Not filthy, just dirtier than your average Panera. The service was very friendly. I had a Thai flatbread, which was very tasty although the bread was a bit cold. The cinnamon crunch scone was delicious. Coffee was OK. You don't go to Panera for the coffee, it is barely acceptable. Overall Panera is a good place for good food at a reasonable price.

The quality of food is what would be expected from most locations. However it can be quite busy and 'cafeteria-like'. Yes, that is the style they provide but I mean that like most people say the overall feeling is rather stale... And messy. The convenience of the location and reliability of food quality and choice make the negatives less deterring. However it would be nice if they ran one of those restaurant sweepers over the floor more often.

The staff is so friendly and the service is great. It's rare when I encounter good customer service on a consistent basis like I do here. The food is great as well.

Panera Bread is a haven for many, but more so for the studying student. The ambiance at this Panera is peaceful and warm, with Mozart in the background. I tried the Chipotle Chicken Panini that came with Panera-brand potato chips. The panini was excellent in texture and taste. The black tea washed down everything well. To top off the experience I got a free fruit pastry from my rewards card (it was sweet but delicious). Panera is costly so it's not a place to be everyday. But when gone to sparingly, it most definitely hits the spot.

Panera bread is a place you go to when you want to get in on that stylish sandwich/salad/soup scene but at a speedy turn out rate that other cafes don't supply. It's pretty standard, nothing too special. It satisfies its purpose but doesn't thrill anyone any further than that. I do like to come here when I need to eat lunch and find a place to study or read a book at the same time, which can't always be accomplished in normal coffee shops. But without the free wifi here, it would be a deal breaker because there are probably cheaper and more flavorful brunch options elsewhere. However, don't expect to get any quiet time at this panera bread if it's on the weekends during breakfast or brunch time because superior's panera bread is packed and always bustling with families then. Personally, i always go for the "pick two" option where you can choose two things out of a soup, salad, or sandwich. Normally, my order includes chicken and wild rice soup and a thai chicken salad with a baguette. But I've also mass ordered an assortment of bagels and cream cheeses from here to feed my tennis team in the past and it's always been a fave for the girls.

I really like this Panera! It's cheery and has great light! (which doesn't explain why I haven't taken any pictures here so far!) I love their soup and salad, soup and sandwich options. I like their black bean soup even though it results in periodic levitation ;-) My daughter likes their French onion soup. I like their Asian Sesame (or its equivalent) salad. I also love their Fuji Apple chicken salad. The apple chips really make this salad what it is. The dressing is also not overly sweet - which is my biggest problem with salad dressings in chain restaurants. And, I love their coffee. I like to mix half Hazelnut and half of their dark roast.

The only reason I gave them TWO stars is because the food is decent. However.. THREE times in a row I had a horrible customer service experience while waiting or ordering. The last time resulting in the horrible girl behind the counter making one of my children cry because she was so aggressively rude. The manager was unresponsive and seemed incapable of handling the situation. Which wasn't surprising since I waited an entire minute to even begin my order once reaching the register because the same cashier and manager were arguing about the cash drawer and complaining about another employee right in front of me while I waited patiently. In the end we left with the decision to never go back. Very disappointed as this is a chain that I like... but we'll stick with the Panera on 29th Street.

Bland food, proffered under the guise of specialty fare. A phony bakery. The facade of a good corporate citizen. I'll pass.

I hate to write poor reviews, but I can't let food poisoning slide. I had the Mediterranean Salmon Salad, and I guess the Salmon was bad because I was nauseous hours after. I know I should be more careful of ordering fish at fast-food places. I flushed 9$ down the toilet the wrong way!

Smallish inside and small fireplace. Friendly order taking staff. Quick and efficient. I had 1/2 Chicken Bacon sandwich and a bowl of French Onion along with a baguette and it tasted decent other than the bacon being slightly undercooked. This Panera is different (well, than the California ones, which is all I can compare it to) in that you don't get a number and have your food brought to you but instead have to wait for your name to be called and go up and get the food yourself. Restaurant was decently clean but was semi-full of old people and Boulder stay-at-home moms who were sucking up the free wi-fi. Parking can be chaotic here because it is near a Whole Paycheck (er Whole Foods). Overall a good experience - but nothing special.

I really need to start paying closer attention. I charged into this place all excited because I thought the sign outside read "Pantera Bread." I was ready for some Vulgar Display of Sandwich,* but then they told me that it was "Panera" bread. What the hell is a "panera," I asked, and more importantly, does it rock? I further inquired if they had a sandwich inspired by Pantera's late guitarist, "Dimebag" Darrell (RIP, 1966-2004), and was told that if I wasn't going to order anything from the menu, I should step aside and let the next person order. So I ordered the Smokehouse Turkey: smoked turkey breast, smoked bacon, smoked cheddar and sun-dried tomato ale mustard grilled on an Artisan Three Cheese bread. Pretty good, but it woulda been better with some Artisan Three-Chord Thrash. I never get anything I want. * Vulgar Display of Power, released by Pantera on the Atco label in 1992

We have been visiting the Superior location, close to home, but we are debating on our continued patronage there. My last three orders, were missing one major thing, at the very least this has been happening more recent, I'd say we've been suffering from going there, ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK, your order(s) to go!! Actually, it's just been from at least June until the present: 1.) I ordered and paid for our lunch to go; totally 4got half our order; I called the manager; he was very kind and offer to have a free meal on them; 2.) My daughter went to the same Pañera; order two pick-two(s) for our lunch together, she came home and they totally forgot my sandwich. Sure, I had a salad, but it was frustrating; 3.) I call ahead and order for my husband to pick up, he picks up, they totally forgot the bread bowl together; and as for the 4.) order (last 3 orders were consecutive orders) in person, by my husband, (the young male) that was taking his order to what a Mediterranean salad was?? I barely go in myself (hard 4 me to physically go since June, 2014, due to a health condition); 5.) I try to place the order online and asked if I could pay cash (i.e., Noodles, Sushi Yama, even Pizza Hut, and etc.) all do orders online and we go there to pick up and pay cash. I thought, maybe I'm just not clear enough? I place another over the phone, pay for it, & basically sent my husband to pick up. They totally forget my bread bowl and no baguette(s)? I'm home bound because of my physical limitations) I decide to try their "Rapid" order system online, I got all the wrong bagels, except 4 of them, that clearly states you get two plain cream cheese tubs, I only got one! I ordered a "Bakers Dozen" and even in the special instruction box, I kindly remind them to put two. Plus, the more we seem to order, less amounts are given each time. My husband would rather not have me complain because that's the closest one to where we live. My daughter goes to the other location in Boulder and last time I went physically, was at the Westminster store. Maybe, it is truly just the "Superior" location. My husband and I are empty nesters, I'm physically unable to prepare meals, and going fast food is just not good for anyone, but at least you get all the food we paid for. I think that I'm just going to start to order at different locations, I just remembered another two incidents where my daughter couldn't eat, she just let me have the food BC of my multiple medications. Panera seems to pay much more for packaging & take home bags, but no attention to the details of what goes into those boxes & bags. Sorry, we love "Panera" we pay for the food, return home never with the right stuff? Plus, another time my husband went, they totally ran out of baguettes, and my husband was in line, everyone was upset, asking "how can you run out of bread, this is a bread store?" Everyone got apples and/or nothing BC they just didn't have any substitution. Thank goodness I order a piece of coffee cake. Other than the missing food, smaller portions, it's better than Mickey D's LOL

This location of the Panera breads is warm and friendly. It has a very sunny disposition to it. The food is the same as any other Panera, but this one is crowded for breakfast and then at mid morning too. I have seen groups of people bringing in a project to work on, sitting by the fireplace, talking - sipping coffee! Cute! It is a decent place to get your breakfast and coffee and Bagels. If it is too busy, they hand you one of those buzzy things that startle you when your order is ready. I love their divine fresh baked breads and bagels. cinnamon and sesame bagels are my most favorite ones and so is the breakfast bagel with eggs and bacon!! Sin Sin!

Okay, I was suprised this place was PACKED for breakfast this morning. I wanted to try a new breakfast sandwich on a bagel (they used to only do them on bread) and what I REALLY wanted I was unwilling to drive to the 16th street mall for. The sandwich (blueberry bagel w/ bacon, egg, and cheese) was tasty. MUCH better in my opinion than when I first tried the breakfast sandwich as the blueberry really added a kick. I ordered and it was promptly grilled and ready. I just want to say that one thing I really like about Panera is that their nutritional values are online and EASY to find. While my breakfast was 610 calories it was good to know it had 30 grams of protein. Just a thought that I would rather eat somewhere with transparent nutritional value than one that doesn't anyday of the week! ____________________________________________________ *** Also just a note that my last review at 3 stars was a fluke. I have been back several other times for late lunch and my food was good. No soggy sandwich and no sad looking salads.

Why is it that whenever I go into a Panera, it seems like all the customers are from Boulder? Type A and/or OCD w/ some yuppie on the side. This one was no different. Small, for a Panera (I liked that). There was even the guy with the headphones and Apple laptop who I see in The People's Republic of Boulder a lot. He recognized me, and reported the siting (hopefully to my fan club and not to Homeland Security). There were 6 other laptop users, mostly women. There were two puzzled, geeky middle-aged iPon users, vapidly gesturing through web pages with detached expressions on their faces. As another reviewer noted, this location has nice afternoon sun on one end of the store. At the other end, near the entrance, is a fireplace. So you can get out of the sun and still be warm and toasty. That's where the iPon users were, possibly to be seen. Like Mc Donalds, you'll get an eminently reproducible meal regardless of which location you go to. The food is good, and the bread, of course, fresh and well made. I had the "pick two" - Sonoma Chicken Soup and Chicken on Cheese Asiago Foccacia. They were good, but I was charged 7.99 instead of the 6.99 on the sign, and was unable to get resolution. Time is money, so I left on a bad note, one dollar shorter; perhaps what they were hoping for.

Chain food. The service is consistent - as in some of the staff is always very good and some of the staff is always very bad. The problem is that the good ones quit. heh. Either way, the food is decent and you can listen to classical music played too loud while you eat.

  • Gluten-Free From A to Z.

FYI: Z is gluten-free (which means she can't eat wheat, rye, or barley) so our reviews are all from the gluten-free perspective. We care about how many gluten-free options the restaurant has and how helpful the staff is in dealing with our concerns. Gluten-Free Options: None of their bread is gluten-free, but several of their soups are gluten-free and most of the salads can be modified. Total From A to Z: 3 Stars A's Review: * * * I wasn't holding my breath for Panera to have much for Z to eat. And they didn't. But what they did have were well-trained staff and a binder that told at a glance what was GF. Some of the soups and most of the salads were fine, which is not half bad from a bakery. Z's Review: * * * Maybe it isn't fair to walk into a bakery and expect to be able to get something gluten-free, but I knew Panera also serves soup and salad (in addition to sandwiches and baked goods), so I thought it was worth a try. When I asked the cashier if any of the soups were gluten-free, I was delighted to find out that she had a list of which ones were and was able to tell me right away. She even apologized for not knowing off the top of her head! Their soups vary from day to day, and the day I visited two of them were gluten-free: the black bean soup and the creamy tomato (ordered without croutons). Most of their salads also use gluten-free vinaigrette dressing and can be ordered without croutons. They will also substitute an apple or potato chips instead of a baguette as a side. So, despite Panera being a "gluten-full" bakery, I was able to enjoy a gluten-free lunch of black bean soup and orchard harvest salad with a side of potato chips.

One of those chains that consistently provide good food and service. Cool ambience, free wi-fi, and sometimes free food samples. Great customer service. Now this is a business model to follow.
