This is definitely our go to pizza spot in Breck! We never came here until a couple months into our stay but I have to admit... We were missing out! They always have great service with fresh ingredients. I get a custom pizza but my boyfriend gets the Breck Imperial almost every time. We love to sit up at the bar and watch the pizzas being prepped and popped into the oven. We highly recommend the Flatbread Pizza Company to everyone who comes to Breck!

Forewarning: This review has nothing to do with food. In early June of this year, my fiance and I booked (via a verbal agreement as they didn't do contracts) our 9/5/15 rehearsal dinner here. We just received word (TODAY, 3 weeks before our wedding) that the new owner (taking over ownership on 9/1) would not allow us to hold our event at their location anymore. Two words: SCREW.YOU. Thank you SO MUCH for ruining our wedding weekend plans, new owner. Also, thanks for making the old owner break the news to us since you are evidently too ashamed to speak for yourself. What an embarrassing excuse of a business.

As much as I want to hate on every pizza that I eat outside of New York, I can't in this case! I finally tried Flatbread after walking by it for a few years, and I am really happy I did! Matt, one of the pizza makers, was super accommodating and made me a great Margherita style pizza. The sauce is really good, and they use good quality mozzarella, and for anyone who actually knows anything about Italian food, this matters and you can taste it. Everyone I met there was super friendly! It was a quiet snowy night when I went there, and I can imagine it's pretty packed at dinner time because it is small.. But when it's busy season here everywhere gets packed. I'd rather eat good fresh food than deep fried garbage. Awesome spot!

  • John H.

The food is good and they have a myriad of pizzas to order or to create. The crust is excellent. It is very tight though in space and very loud with TVs going and crowd volume. We had to ask people to stand/move to get to sit at our table, as did the servers every time they came to our table.

Amazing home made pizza with great service. One of the best pizza places I have ever been to. Simply amazing! (Cousin from Houston)

We tried to order pizza for take out... Then they said they don't do take out, but on yelp it says that they do take out...

Everything was awesome! Great price, great staff, and amazing pizza! And I'm not a flat bread kinda guy, I am now..

This was a nice little spot in Breckenridge. My girlfriend and I split a salad and flatbread pizza. Both featured great ingredients and were quite filling.

  • Dean G.

If you love a perfectly baked brick oven crispy crust with ultimate customization using generous portions of fresh toppings - then this is your stop! Staff was very friendly too!!

  • Dustin S.

Cool place. Hummus appetizer was really good. The pizza was decent. One pizza was plenty to feed me and my wife.

  • Ben K.

Excellent thin crust pizza, super friendly service. Highly recommended! We had the Breck Imperial and it was fantastic.

    (5)
  • Patrick A.

We had the Hawaiian style pizza and the kali mist (subbed the pepperoni with prosciutto) and the pizzas were really good. The service was good, and the atmosphere was pretty good. I'm Italian (parent born in the motherland) and I've been all over Europe, South Africa, America and Hong Kong, and I can honestly say the pizza was good. I know some of the reviews were not great, but give it a try!

This is a very good pizza place. I have been coming here for a few years and there pizza in phenomenal.

  • Tim B.

Chose this place because of its high rating. Well, the ratings will only get better after our visit! Fantastic food and loved the quaint atmosphere. They were very busy tonight but service was great! Can only imagine how crazy it is in the winter. Ryan (the owner) has a great thing going!

After a full day of skiing, and avoiding overpriced meals around the resort, we set offing a short adventure to find a good meal that wouldn't break the bank. We then spotted this joint. Walked in, seated immediately, and took recommendations on three different pizzas for four guys from the waiter. I guess the five stars really tell the rest of the story. I'll return next year, no doubt about it. By the way, three pies for four hungry and depleted guys was on point.

    (5)
  • Ed T.

Job well done. Went here after skiing for pizza and salad. Service was kind quick and polite. Pizza was outstanding and salads were fresh. Very happy with flatbread pizza. Not greasy, and more toppings than crust is awesome. Fresh ingredients, great place.

  • Sheri M.

Awesome outdoor patio with view of the mountains. Great deal on wine (with decent selections). Pizza is really good (fresh ingredients and lists to choose from). Recommend the Sensi Star. The service is great. All the servers are genuinely attentive. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Breck.

  • Scott H.

Amazing pizza and great service. We had a pizza with the gluten free crust and could have sworn they made a mistake and brought us the wrong pizza. It was that good. The Nebula is to die for!

    (5)
  • Kate M.

We thought their pizza was to die for! Really fresh ingredients and many of their topping options are creative. They have a really great idea on their hands with using flatbread for the crust. They have an interesting beer/wine list and I have to say their customer service was great too. I do have to mention though that I agree with other reviews that their food is overpriced. The pizza we got was $15 for a 12 inch. Without the extra padding of regular crust, it doesn't amount to a whole lot of food. While we shared a pizza and thought it was excellent, I left feeling like I could have eaten a whole one myself. It is a stretch to say one pizza there serves two people.

  • Susan T.

Went here twice in one week. Salads were plentiful and delicious (take dressing on the side). Flatbread pizza had thin crispy crust and right amount of toppings. This place knows what it does and does it well. We ate at the bar area the second night and watched the staff turn out one pizza after another. Place runs like a well oiled machine. I don't like eating off of paper plates and using plastic utensils when I go out, but that was a minor annoyance. Overall a winner for a quick bite.

  • Colleen H.

I had been craving flatbread pizza for a week now, and thankfully everybody that we were with was feeling it too, up in Breck. Had we not used our good friend yelp to look for a pizza joint, we wouldn't have gotten here! The pizza here is divine! We ordered the hummus to start, which wasn't anything to write home about... For pizza we got tomato, mozz, basil and prosciutto. A classic, but never disappoints. Our second pizza was off the menu- Breck Imperial. It's said to have mozzarella, sausage, pepperoni, gorgonzola, white onions & mushrooms but really it was just the perfect combination of life. It's a pretty young crowd in here, as you'd expect from a pizza joint, but they have a standard beer and wine menu that's suited just fine for pizza. If you're in the mood, definitely give this spot a whirl. They know how to do pizza right, that's for sure.

  • Kendall H.

This place is delicious! It is very small restaurant but everyone there is super friendly. Our waitress helped us with what to order. We got a Cesar & Greek salad and a Cheese wheel as starters and they were so tasty! We also got the American Dream and the Kali something and they were amazing! We will definitely come back to this place! A+! Fast service! Great food!

    (5)
  • Kathy B.

Great wood fired pizza at a reasonable price. Least expensive meal we had here at Breck - about $50 for 3 of us (not including booze) - and one of best. Toppings all tasted fresh and homemade. It was quick too!

    (5)
  • Al H.

Second visit, planning to return. Had the BIG-O CHEESE WHEEL, Sensi Star, Breck Imperial, and a couple custom builds. As several have mentioned, the cheese wheel was surprisingly good. Really like the very thin crust. Some seating inside, some outside, overall not too large a place.

    (4)
  • Benjamin M.

This is a really small establishment (you can see the kitchen/pizza oven from any seat in the house), but we were lucky enough to not have to wait to be seated. We ordered the Breck Imperial pizza, which was pretty good. Before that we had ordered salads which were unique, delicious and a good value. Loved this local establishment, and the fact that they are eco-friendly -- will definitely come back in the future!

    (4)
  • E Y.

If you are a fan of thin style, flat bread pizza then you must check this place out. I had the Breck Imperial and it was one of the best pizza's I've ever eaten. Another reviewer commented that it didn't fill him up. You have to keep in mind it's not a fat, thick crust pie. It is what it is. A thin crust pizza. I was able to make two meals out of mine. Best pizza in Summit County in my opinion. If you pay attention to most of the names of the pies, you might notice something very clever. Certainly fits Breck and Colorado in general. The all day $1 PBR's rocked too! Well done, Ben, Emily and Jeff. I'll be back and will certainly send my guests there!

    (5)
  • Doug T.

We sampled several pizzas and they were all delicious. Cooked to order right away, and loaded with flavor. Great beers on tap and superb service. Highly recommend!

    (4)
  • Tim M.

We had a party of 6 and it's a small place so big groups aren't the greatest. They had a table set but gave it away so we had to wait a little longer. It wasn't a big deal at all; we just hung at the bar until it was ready. We were going to order 4 pizzas thinking it would be enough but Emily (our server) changed our minds and we opted for 6. It was the perfect amount. Food was fantastic, very light pizza so you can eat a lot, cool atmosphere, and nice people. The beer list was a little small but overall not bad. It was a great experience and I'll definitely be going back!

  • Greg H.

Came in around 9pm on a weekday and the place wasn't crowded, which was nice - no waiting. Free parking lot in the back. Our server saw us outside the second floor entrance (next to Empire Burger) and opened the door for us and welcomed us. Service was fine, and the flatbread pizzas were good. We got the Maui Waui and the Breck Imperial. A hungry person can finish an entire pizza since the crust is so thin, or you can have more restraint and share one with someone, too. A pretty good choice for dinner if you don't want to break the bank.

    (4)
  • Chuck B.

Seated immediately with a party of 5 arriving at staggered times. Service excellent. Started with white cheese wheel (basically an incredible white pizza) and Caesar salads that were good. Ordered 4 pizzas. Toppings fresh and very tasty. The quality of the very thin crust was top notch. Pizza great the next day as well. Retained its crispy crust when reheated in oven. Well done!

  • jessica s.

It is my first time in Breckenridge and I scoured the food guide to see what options my bf and I had for dinner. This places lived up to the reviews. We got a Maui Waui and a Breck Imperial, expecting to bring leftovers back to our condo. It didn't happen. We ate all of it and it was amazing. I'd recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

    (5)
  • KA N.

Small place, but that's not all bad-especially here. Everyone was super friendly & service was great. Pizzas are excellent-we each had our own-5-All different, All Excellent. Quality ingredients & crust. Definitely worth it!

    (5)
  • Sue G.

Friendly server, delicious food, no wonder it's got such great reviews. It's a small small place, so you should go for early dinner. We went at 5:15 so there were plenty of seating, but by the time we finished, it was packed. A must when you are in Breckenridge!

    (5)
  • Dave B.

Awesome pizza and worth the shirt wait. 6 of us finished off 6 pizzas with no problem at all. Make it a point to come here if you want some great pizza in Breck. And this is coming from a Chicago guy with high pizza standards.

    (5)
  • Frank W.

Excellent super thin pizza! We really enjoyed the tasty flatbread and the super friendly service. Small but decent beer and wine selection. Perfect for a quick après ski snack or a full meal. The only problem is you will have to climb the stairs to get to it. (:

  • Ronald F.

We stopped in a few weeks ago because of a recommendation from friends. We were NOT disappointed. This Pizza is the only pizza in Breck that is not greasy and over-fattening. The toppings were fresh and tasty. The dough and sauce are made fresh daily in house; and are great. The staff was attentive and helpful. Every suggestion they had made our meal more enjoyable. The beer and wine selection is very adequate. The dollar PBRs definitely rock. I would recommend this place as not only the best pizza in Breck; but, one of the best restaurants in Breck.

    (5)
  • Dave W.

No better place in Breck for a post-ski pizza and bottle of wine. Small and often crowded but worth the wait. Have a Guinness next door if the wait is long and don't miss out on the BBQ pizza.

    (5)
  • Mark S.

Sometimes you wonder about the reviews you read. You want to believe it and since you are hungry; usually in a foreign place. Well this pizza place is beyond the norm; their crust is thin and totally crispy! Wow what a taste and in addition we ordered the pizza test. Pineapple! Yep - hot pineapple and crispy crust emerged from their kitchen. Way cool and totally good eats.

    (5)
  • Danielle T.

Quaint pizza place that not only has awesome pizza but also a great beer and wine selection. The staff are friendly and the service was excellent. Most pizza places that I have eaten ate are good at pizza but subpar when it comes to a salad. Not here; excellent salad selections with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend after a day on the slopes!

    (5)
  • Ellen G.

Please ignore Tom G.'s review. This is excellent thin crust pizza. The salads are also a good value for the money.

Order the Isis - it's fantastic!! Beer was priced well. Atmosphere was good - not too noisy & good music. You can't go wrong here.

  • Esther P.

Went into this restaurant after all the usual hot spots had at least one hour wait times. Our kids loved their cheese pizza with chicken and we had their Sensi which is their version of a Greek !!all yum !! the bacon spinach salad was amazing (enough to share)!!

    (5)
  • Meredith B.

Awesome pizza place right in the main area. Such an amazing experience and the Owner "Ryan" really made the experience so fantastic! Such a great place for pizza and drinks! We will definitely be going back.

    (5)
  • Conner E.

Might be good. Not sure. Didn't serve pizza at their grand opening, who knows why? Also, only ever time I've been there I stood at the door looking at 3 empty tables and about 4 servers running around, not sign of wait to be seated or any indication of what to do. Just ended up leaving without having had anyone approach me about seating. Might try to get seated there sometime.

  • Stephanie S.

Our family ordered three different kinds of pizza and all were delicious! No pizza was left on anyone's plate. We will definitely go many more times.

    (5)
  • Greg C.

This place is fantastic! We ate here on a Saturday in July with the kids and I couldn't believe more people weren't there. Its a hidden gem, especially if you enjoy very thin crust (hence "flatbread") pizza, but they have more than just pizza - the salad and hummus we had was excellent as well. The staff was very friendly and made us feel at home, especially having to deal with our kids' unique tastes.

    (5)
  • J F.

Our pizzas were excellent! I had the Isis - a great blend of flavors. We also tried the peanut butter pie, delicious but very rich - great if you love peanut butter! The service was great, too.

  • B A.

Best Pizza and service in Breck...super thin crust with fresh ingredients. White cheese app is our favorite, the dipping sauce is better than mamma's. The other pizza places in Breck try too hard to be New York and this place just does thin crust pizza RIGHT!

    (5)
  • Chris L.

Do yourself a favor and get the bbq chicken pizza after a ride on the Vail Pass on into Breckenridge. It is terrific.

  • John W.

We are a party of two. We ordered 2 individual salads and 2 flat bread pizzas. Both were very good-not great. The salad ingredients were fresh and flavorful but very small for the price (6.75 each) and the same can be said for the pizza. The flavor was very good and I will say the kinds of pizza avail is creative. I have two criticisms: the pizza toppings do not go all the way to the edge. So if you got a piece from the edge, you got cheated. All you pretty much get is dough. The other criticism is the cost. Each pizza is $15.50 plus tax! So the bottom line is for 2 small salads and 2 small sized pizzas, the cost came to $48. and change. I was trying to be polite even though it was a "take out" order and I gave a $5. tip. So I paid over $53. for the total order. And the food, while pretty good is not worth this kind of cost. Sorry. but there are MANY pizza places in town that are a much better value.

Worst pizza ever and not as represented. We wanted to go here because it is advertised as wood fired Neapolitan style pizza. It is neither. The pictures of the brick faced oven in their ads is not the oven in the restaurant. The actual oven looks like it was covered in clay. And, it's gas! We were told they used gas because they can't get wood in Breckenridge. There is a huge taste difference between gas and wood ovens. We should have left at that point. They also claim the dough is "hand rolled." It's not. It's put through a sheeter several times to get it thin, then quickly run over with a rolling pin. It is not hand shaped or rolled. Looking at the dough in the proofing box, it was very cragy and slack, not soft and smooth as one would expect if 00 flour (used for Neapolitan dough) was used. And, the dough was trimmed with a pizza cutter to get it sort of round. The oven .temp was not quite 500 degrees, whereas a Neapolitan pizza should be cooked at about 900 degrees. And, the dough didn't rise so there was no cornicione (lip end) on the pizzas (even though the picture in their ad is of a Neapolitan pizza that looks nothing like what was served). Rather, many seemed to have blacked edges, that were sliced off with a pizza cutter before the pizza was plated. We ordered the First Lady with prosciutto added. It was so bad, we couldn't eat it. It was advertised to have Roma tomatoes, but what we got were pale, watery hot house tomatoes, not Romas. And, the "prosciutto" looked more akin to the sliced deli ham that people would buy from K-Mart. It was not cured like real prosciutto. Our waiter was shocked when we didn't like it and the owner came to talk to us. He kept saying they get good reviews. I told him that was why we came, but he is not serving what is advertised, and I pointed out what is in this review. He didn't charge us for the pizza and did give us a discount on the bottle of wine we had purchased. But, if you want wood fired, hand made Neapolitan style pizza, you will be extremely disappointed in what is served here. If you've never had Neapolitan pizza you might find it acceptable, but don't be fooled.

Best gluten free pizza ever. Had the pesto chicken with mushrooms. Will definitely visit next time we are in town from MI.

    (5)
  • Kelly B.

If your looking for thin crust crispy pizza, this is the place. We loved the First Lady, which was the basic tomato and basil. The canned beer was a good touch. Had good options from New Belgium brewing and Up Slope. Small place, bring your closest friends and enjoy!

Excellent pizza. Ordered take out, not a lot to add about the restaurant itself but food is certainly excellent.

This restaurant is closed. We called last night around 7 to place a pick up order. Answering machine said if they did not answer they were helping others and to call back. After multiple attempts we walked over. Place is locked up, dark and no action. Locals say these owners work when they are in the mood. No way to run a business. At least have the respect for customers by changing the answering machine to reflect the current state of the restaurant! Don't waste your time trying to eat here.

Overall, worth a try. Topping selection is typical/inventive for a flat bread style, food quality was fine. Note that the pizza crust, as advertised on their website, is very much on the thinner side, even for a flatbread, so consider whether this is the style you're looking for. Also, prices a little high given the crust style/portion sizes. Conveniently located near the south end of Main, within walking distance of Peak 8/9 lodging and a lot of other retail. Ordered take-out, thus can't comment on the dine-in experience. Phone service was friendly and take out order was ready quickly. I've had many flat bread pizzas and this one is certainly unique. Toppings: fresh, portion size was adequate, although toppings were a bit undercooked I assume b/c they have to time the firing so the thin crust doesn't burn. Crust: very thin relative to other flat breads I've tried. One hungry skier can easily polish off a half a pizza or more, so at about $14 per 12" pizza, $30 bill for pizza to feed at most four people seems a bit on the high end. I think they may benefit from offering a thicker "hand tossed" flat bread crust in addition to their original - I'd pay more for the same size pizza with a "heartier" crust and they may broaden their appeal. At home, crust wasn't crispy anymore - thin and flimsy - seems the crust style doesn't lend itself to keeping well for take-out. Salad: was a small side salad portion and at $6, not the best value, and only got a small, several ounce container of dressing, which nonetheless was very good. Overall, worth a try if you're looking for a thin crust, gourmet flat bread, and I'd recommend dining in to ensure the fresh out of the oven experience.

Unbelievable!! Out of this world fantastic pizza! The marinara sauce is to die for and the pesto is just as delicious! Make sure to order the white cheese wheel and $1 PBR.

  • Don A.

Great pizza accompanied by a great friendly staff! He had the flatbread and hummus to start; deliciouso!!! Place got filled up quick but you would have never known by the quick and efficient service! Ordered the BBQ chicken pizza which was awesome! Nice to have a pizza that doesn't leave you wanting a nap after. We had the pleasure of speaking with the owner as well and he was super courteous! Awesome place and super cool staff! Try this place out, can't recommend it enough :)

  • J C.

They delivered what they have talked about in the paper. Made it for the opening - the salads were great, the pizzas were better, and the smell of the restaurant was amazing. I will definitely be back - it was a tasty and enjoyable meal.

    (5)
  • Chris P.

Food was good BUT it was extremely overpriced. For two people we had 2 glasses of wine, shared a salad and 2 pizzas. It cost us over $60. Why? The pizzas are thin and not filling. A glass of HOUSE wine was $8! Also, they wanted to be eco friendly by using compostable plates and silverware....you know what is better for the environment? Using reusable plates and silverware! We won't be back and I'm sure locals won't either because of the cost. Go to Giampietros and get a better wine selection (for less) and better pizza.

    (1)
  • Jennifer M.

Went for lunch recently and did the $11 special of a soda, a salad and a personal pizza for $11. The salad was actually really tasty - the highlight of the meal! The pizzas, well, I don't know, just not my style. The sauce is kinda sweet. The crust is very thin and cracker like. Because the crust is so thin, my chosen topping, mushrooms, were practically uncooked. It was edible and pretty much fine but I definitely won't rush back.

Great wood fired Pizza. As my 9 year old said, "I couldn't point out a flaw". Service was quick and pleasant.

Awesome place for the whole family. Kids will love making their own dough into breadstick animals! Food and service are great!

Our eight year old son, who is a picky eater, said "best pizza ever". He ate a second pizza tonight. Nice beer selection, friendly staff, and a great place for little people. Have the kids sit at the bar and make something from the dough, and the staff will bake it in the awesome pizza oven.

  • Kathryn E.

Cute local place. We found it via Yelp after a long day of skiing and wandering around town looking at shops. It was bustling even at 830pm. We were seated promptly and dug into salads and shared a pizza. Both salads and pizza were good. The food hit the spot but I didn't find anything exceptional about the experience. Would definitely return for some staple food and low-key atmosphere.

Good flat bread with the right amount of ingredients. Nice variety of toppings. Had the Northern Lights and made my own. Real good pizza. We added a bottle of wine. All was a reasonable price.

Great thin crust pizza! The crust was perfectly crispy and the red sauce was delicious! The atmosphere on the outside patio in the summertime can not be beat.

  • Jill C.

Our family loves the crispy thin pizzas at Flatbread Pizza Co. The ingredients are fresh and taste delicious, and there is a wide variety of topping options. This would be a five star review except that the amount of garlic in the caesar salad was overwhelming. My first bite of the salad was like chomping on a raw clove. Doesn't matter though.. this place is a definite go-to for awesome, fresh-tasting pizzas for our family.

  • Leslie S.

To quote my husband, "I think this is the best pizza I have ever eaten". We love pizza and heard about this place when we were scouting places to eat in Breck. We had the Kali Mist and it was scrumptious, the crust was super thin and cooked to perfection. The ratio of tomato, pepperoni, arugula and cheese was just right. Sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the sights and sounds of downtown. Highly recommend this place if you are a fan of good pizza.

Looking for a new place to eat while in town, the employees are awesome, food was tasty, we had the margarita pizza, cheese wheel, and salad, and it was so good I can't wait to come back next month!

  • Valery C.

The pizza is brilliant! I recommend the Black Imperial Flatbread which has the house's delicious red sauce. And the people in this place are amazing; very nice! (And the guys are super cute!) The location of this perfect, just a block away from Main St in the 2nd floor of a small plaza. This is a great place to relax after a long day.

Amazing pizza and the service went the extra mile: Came in and began our visit sitting at the bar. The place is quaint and on the smaller side--which ads to it's endearingly intimate atmosphere. We requested to be moved once we realized our party was having a hard time conversing together, a request that could truly throw staff for a loop in such a small space on a busy night. But they graciously made it happen in a way that left me more then impressed. Our server in particular was a rockstar. I definitely recommend trying this little hole in the wall.

Yummy yummy yummy 100x over. If you have a hearty appetite, 1 flatbread pizza per person is perfect. We ordered the Breck Imperial. Oh so perfect, thin cheesy, really good. Just wished we ordered 2! My 2 yr old enjoyed the cheese flatbread. Would definitely come back when in town! Great pizza place, different from the norm!!!

Loved the flat bread pizza! It was crispy and delicious. Ordered one with pepperoni and sausage. I could eat one all by myself! Started with a Caesar salad that was delicious and fresh. Staff was courteous and attentive. Don't miss this place when in Breck!

Awesome crispy thin crust pizza, super fresh ingredients, friendly team and great beer. what more could one want?! I almost hate to say how good it is for selfish reasons - afraid once everyone finds out I may never again get a table!

First visit to Flatbread Pizza and we were impressed! The location is very small but it's cozy. You can see the oven and chef's making the pizza/food. This is some of the best flatbread pizza I've had in a while! The entire menu looked delicious. Would definitely come back for a quick bite to eat or to watch a game and munch on some food.
