NO PULLED PORK! Only beef BBQ sandwiches here. Cole slaw was terrible, tasted like dirt to me but Richard said it tasted like plain cabbage. Either way, it was dry n lacked Mayo..sugar..vinegar.. everything that should be in there. Potato salad was plain. We got a rib plate that was enough for two. The ribs were meaty and cooked perfectly with an awesome BBQ sauce. Served with a really nice garlic bread. Don't be expecting customer service here or u will be highly disappointed. HOMEMADE PIES N HAND SCOOPED ICE CREAM WITH ABOUT TEN TO CHOSE FROM OF EACH makes the experience worth wild. Total bill around Forty.

The brisket sandwich was mediocre (like the Sam's Club pre made kind), but the pork sandwich was good. The sausage sandwich consisted of a large portion (about 10 inches) of smoked sausage on crusty french bread. Sadly, I didn't order the ribs but they looked awesome. I would eat here again, but wouldn't order so much. Three sandwiches one fry and one onion ring order was WAY too much food for the three people in my party, of course the prices justified the portions. I will know better next time and split a sandwich.

Not Mexican but great BBQ with my girls on Cinco de Mayo. Their sandwiches are big. One of the best places to stop in Magnolia.

The ribs and fried broccoli is where it's at. Other than that the rest of the food is ok but not really worth the price. For two people my wife and I was about $78 which is pricey for that kind of plsce

Oddly enough the fried broccoli was the best thing on the menu. Now to be honest I didn't have any ice cream or pie. I'm sure they were better yet. The BBQ though was interesting. Mixed in with the brisket was a red mystery meat. It appeared to be raw hamburger. Yuk!!!!

Probably my favorite place to eat! The BBQ is tender and full of flavor and the student deal makes it affordable for college students who are just craving some good pork! I love all the sides but the real reason I tried it was for the homemade pies and its why I come back time after time! The food is fantastic!

In from Chicago visiting relatives, we stopped by the Flying Burger for dinner. Our group of 6 loved everything!! Fried shrimp, fried oysters, and fried catfish was amazing!! Burgers and fries were so tasty, even the coleslaw was delicious!!

I am from Michigan and staying in town from work and this is by far the best place in town. By far some of the best BBQ I have had. The homemade sauce is incredible, and every cut of meat is delicious.

I am from Louisiana in town for work. I had the BBQ beef sandwich which was to die for! I also got a side of onion rings (bc I'm a sucker for homemade ones) and although I wished they would've had a half order they were delicious!! I couldn't eat them all and for $5 I hated to waste them. A friend recommended this place to me and although i had no room for dessert, she said the pie was amazing! Definitely eat here if you are passing through :)

Owners have changed and service has been dicey recently, but the food is as good as advertised for years. Good BBQ and sides. Pricey but the food is not made cheaply.

Ok, day 2. Had the beef brisket and pork sandwich. (My son in law ordered the beef I had the pork. Cut them in half, he got one half and I took the other.) the beef brisket is the way to go. Pork was ok, a little dry. Brisket was real yummy full of flavor. BBQ sauce is great.

Not your average southern barbecue, the sweet sauce was still tangy and had a thick consistency. The brisket (what i had) was extremely well prepared (among the best I have had), the beans in a more Texas style had meat in them but we detectible none the less. This is a win for a barbecue lover, and a good eat for those jut looking for a lunch.

The ribs here are some of the best ribs I have ever eaten. Up there with Phil's in San Diego, Central in Memphis, and Oklahoma Joes in Kansas City. They are incredibly tender, they fall off the bone, but have a perfect char on the outside. Great flavor even without sauce. Love it. One other huge plus is their baked beans side. It isn't traditional by any means. It's slightly spicy baked beans with hamburger meat with a hint of sweetness. I highly recommend you try them. I Only rate them four stars because, like other posters have mentioned, it's really expensive. For the area, it's super expensive($25 for one rack). Also, they don't have pulled pork, just pork loin. The sauces they have are ok-- but the jalapeño "ketchup" is really unique. Pretty spicy, with a thicker tomato base than the BBQ. It also takes forever for them to make the food. If you order take out for ribs, they won't prep the ribs till you arrive. Thus, you could call an hour ahead and it wouldn't matter. Sometimes it can take 1-2 hours. I'd advise eating in. Overall: Ribs=amazing, prices high, wait times long.

The food isn't bad, but the service for take away is AWFUL. clearly, there is no one involved in running the business who has any idea how to Run a business. I placed a pick-up order on the phone. I was told it would be 25 minutes. I arrived 25 minutes later. When I finally got to the window, I sat for another 30 minutes (with cars lined up behind me). I was told "he's cutting the meat" for the order, an order I had called in an hour earlier! My best advice: you can live without the frustration. The food is not that good. Now an hour and a half after I called in the order I'm still waiting at the pickup window. They took my money and are still holding my food. One star because Yelp won't allow no stars.

Great atmosphere. Onion Rings are awesome. Didn't get to try the ribs but everybody raved about them. No pulled pork and only chopped brisket. Coleslaw was not that great. Be ready too wait a while though, service isn't that quick.
