Alvin & Friends offers contemporary cuisine with Southern and Caribbean influences in an elegant and sophisticated space; the dining room features dozens of stunning, Matisse-inspired oil paintings created by owner Alvin Clayton, part of the restaurants signature look. Described by The New York Times as a darling of downtown New Rochelle, Alvin & Friends selected by Open Table users for a 2018 Diners Choice award and winner of a 2018 Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor -- offers live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights as well as a jazz brunch on Sundays. Located across Memorial Highway from the New Rochelle Public Library, Alvin & Friends offers plenty of parking in the municipal lot adjacent to the library as well as the covered parking lot next to the Halstead apartments.

Alvin and Friends Hours

Dinner served 5 to 10 pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday, 5 to 11 pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Late night bar menu available till midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, bar open til 1 am. Brunch served on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 am to 3 pm.
