In its rustic and charming eatery, Della Terra in Buffalo serves contemporary American cuisine in its location within the Embassy Suites Hotel. Small plate options, which make excellent appetizers, include the battered artichoke frites with lemon crme frache and the steamed clams with chorizo in white wine. Some of Della Terras specialty entres include the filet mignon topped with Tuscan fried shallots, the citrus horseradish-crusted salmon and the spinach-stuffed chicken parmesan with mozzarella. Della Terra has a full bar that offers a variety of drinks. It features a decadent brunch menu on weekends, with items such as the crab cake benedict with chipotle hollandaise, the Grand Marnier mascarpone-stuffed French toast and the barbecue shrimp and cheddar grits.
