Very good food and service. Also, it has a very nice atmosphere!

Mediocre food and mediocre service. Fish and chips were actually quite good. However, Ruben was dry and not very flavorful. The Buffalo Wrap was very dry and bland. I asked for extra Buffalo sauce to counteract the dryness but the waiter forgot it. So I went to the kitchen area and asked for it myself (they charged me extra for it). So, I would not come back to this place as the food is nothing special and the service is marginal.

I couldn't believe it was happening to us the waitress was very nice. The wine glass was very full, then the bottom fell out. The salad bar was very messy the soup was undefinable. The waitress came to the table three times with the wrong items. Then I had to send back my fish becau Nse it was under cooked. With the other restaurants in the area we'll never go back,

Went for the Father's Day brunch so I'll give them an extra star because if may have been the first time the ever put on a buffet type meal. Everything was cold or Luke warm until we mentioned it to them and then some stuff just stayed Luke warm. They obviously didn't care about putting on a great meal for Father's Day. They did comp one of our meals but it still wasn't worth it. The kicker was that when I got the bill, they charged for every drink refill. It was like I had gotten into a time machine. No one does this anymore, especially when it's with a buffet. Most of the places I looked at for brunch were giving away mimosas, coffee and soft drinks. That could be why this place may have had tumbleweed blowing through it, it was so empty. Tried the local place, but will not be back. 27 dollars for cold prime rib and a mashed potato bar with no free refills. Cmon.

I'm not sure where to start. We sat right away, but waited well over an hour and a half for our order. When asked about the food at the 45 minute mark we were told it would be a few more minutes and the chef "stopped at your salad". When asked if the children's meal could come out ASAP, the "grilled cheese" (toasted bread with unmelted cheese) arrived 20 minutes later. We were told that the grill is small and the kitchen staff is trying to push our food through. However, tables around us were seated, served, and gone before we ate. My 3 year old was done eating before anyone else at the table got a meal. The bill arrived with little apology, no management intervention, or even a free drink, and then the waiter couldn't figure out how to ring up the credit cards. Will have to check statements on Monday. Disappointed to say the least. Waste of 2.5 hours. Should have left and gone anywhere else.

We walked into a very spacious restaurant with a decent looking bar, with a small dining area off to the side. The place was fairly empty and we only saw one family that entered shortly before we left. The waitress was friendly and acknowledged us shortly after we sat, and recommended mimosas. Very tasty! I ordered the Reuben and my sweetie got the Cajun burger. We asked for no fries and no bread for our respective meals and requested to substitute a salad instead. No go! Even though we were carb free and eliminating large portions of our meal, we would have had to pay an extra $3 for salad, which is an absurd up charge. The waitress did say we could sub veggies after my partner asked for them. The Reuben was fantastic. Definitely a winner. The burger was nothing special, nothing terrible. There was nothing Cajun about it (no spices) and the cucumber ranch didnt pack any real flavor. Overall, the burger was just alright but it does get points for being fresh. The veggies tasted okay but were very overcooked and the portion was tiny. The wings we ordered were fantastic! Definitely try the flavors: whiskey ketchup, orange Thai chili, and honey sriracha. One disappointing thing about the wings is that they are half priced on Sundays as listed on the regular dining menu, but when we places our order the waitress stated they were only for bar guests and only during happy hour. It would have been nice if the menu was less ambiguous and more specific about this. Overall, nice ambience, though they needed music. Attentive and nice waitress, decent food, reasonable price. Some fine tuning and this place could be great. I'll definitely recommend this place for wings to my friends.

Jan 13 2014 No soup no salad bar had to ask for salad that comes with dinner no rolls no butter 45 min for app mushroom caps. Cold watery fish with no crab stuffing. Person tending bar was great and felt bad. Owner just sat in corner paying attention to no one but his friends. WAKE UP!!! PAY ATTENTION!!! You did not see the woman at the bar send hers back ?? TWICE?? . After a $27.00 tab we left hungry with just a glass of wind and app. We over to the BREACHWAY BAR AND GRILL and dropped another $32.94 that's a total of $59.94 and one hr drive. Serve a dinner or don't serve one at all. Perhaps just a pub pick would be best during the winter. We will give it another try this spring.

This place is killing me! Me and my husband loved this place when we 1st started coming here, now not so much. Today our waiter sucked! No personality, never put in the app order I gave him and I was so hungry. Then he brought out the food, completely omitted the cheese on both of our sandwiches, the fries were soaking in grease, never had that issue before. They are redoing their menu, which is great but the food is suffering in the process. I asked him about the drink menu and he said there wasn't one cause they're redoing it. Do u think he'd ask me what kind of drink are u looking for or give me some suggestions?!!!! Nope, he turned around and walked away! WTF! I used to love the fish sandwich but now they have this oversized piece of fish that was ridiculous to eat and wasn't completely heated. U'd think after all of this he'd offer to comp something or have the manager come and apologize to us, nah! The worst part is, I chose to come here for my birthday dinner cause they're always consistent and on point, not today!!! Disappointing to say the least!

Wow! This is a great spot, the steaks are great and my family and I are fans. Good service is just the start. My wife says I am not the easiest to please, but I have to give this spot 4 stars. Always a good meal and the kids love the mini-golf. We heard about it on the radio and we are hooked.

Love the soup and salad bar, but added on Cajun shrimp and got one! Then ordered a martini with rocks on the side and was charged 75 cents per rocks. Unbelievable!

Suffice to say the dining choices in the area are slim. We gambled and won. Sat at the bar, big beer selection, great bread, salad was very good, I had chicken broccoli penne that was delicious. My friend had ribs which were a hit and a good sized burger.

Had a chicken oscar, which was a special. Was tasty. Good bar, good breakfast. Nice view of rolling grass hills on the golf range. Looks nice toward sundown.

So, things at the Pavilion have changed in the past few months. The chef has moved on, and there seems to be a new crew running the kitchen. My wife, kids and I visited for dinner on a Saturday. We got there early (5:30) and were promptly seated with menus and crayons for the kiddies. There was a lot of running around for an event outside in the tent. Our server came by shortly after we sat down. She explained that they were on a new menu, and there were no specials that night. All well and good. We got a drink order in, (martini's with blue cheese stuffed olives - yum!). We ordered dinner, then went up to the salad bar. Two soups (broccoli/potato/cheese and garden veggie with chicken); the broccoli one was broken and grainy, the chicken/veggie was good. Not a lot of variety on the salad bar; the old regime viewed the salad bar as the veggie course for dinner and made sure there was a variety and it was all fresh. This night it was a bit tired looking. Dinner came - baked cod with crab stuffing for the wife, sirloin with a side of stuffed shrimp for me. The cod was way over cooked, the crab was fake (no hiding the red coloring of skate wing!). The sirloin came out sliced like london broil, was med rare as ordered, except for the end cap which was charred and leathery. Shrimp were so overcooked they were rubbery. Side veg (broccoli rabe) was cooked to mush. Baked potatoes were al dente. It appears there are cost saving measures in place. Pity- the Pavilion has a good name. I hope the current regime steps back, takes stock of the practices that made Pavilion good and figures out how to re-institute them. Otherwise this place will wither away, like so many of the previous occupants. Good service, though.

Overpriced and very disappointing. 1980's high school cafeteria food was better. They don't seem interested in actually making good quality food.

The Pavilion Steakhouse in Hopkinton, RI WAS a great restaurant until it was taken over recently. I ate there in the middle of January, while they were still serving basically off the old menu, and had the 'famous' Pavilion Burger and the salad bar. They had a delicious carrot ginger soup that night, and the salad bar looked clean and fresh. The burger was good (they cooked it rare as I requested), but the bun had been changed to a plain one, and was lacking in flavor. Minor, but only the start of not so good changes. Two of my dining companions had fish and chips and they were OK, but nothing special about them except the high price. The price went up considerably, and they eliminated the $9 menu and the 25c chicken wings which had made it affordable to eat there weekly or more even. The staff was all new and the waiter, while friendly, did not seem to know what he was doing. For instance, we had to ask for a loaf of bread (they always served that with infused oil), and when he brought it, he did not bring any bread plates, so we had nothing to put it on. The atmosphere was pretty much the same as it had been previously, loud no matter where you sat because the acoustics there are awful. So I took away a star for the atmosphere, 1 for the service, 1 for the increase in price. I will go back again, now that they have changed the menu, so I can give them another chance. But it is no longer a place I will go weekly because I don't feel the increased price is warranted based on everything else.
